| عَرَبِي | يَسأَلونَكَ عَنِ الأَنفالِ ۖ قُلِ الأَنفالُ لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسولِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَصلِحوا ذاتَ بَينِكُم ۖ وَأَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ إِن كُنتُم مُؤمِنينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yasaloonaka AAani alanfali quli alanfalu lillahi waalrrasooli faittaqoo Allaha waaslihoo thata baynikum waateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu in kuntum mumineena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yas'aloonaka 'anil anfaali qulil anfaalu lillaahi war Rasooli fattaqul laaha wa ahlihoo zaata bainikum wa atee'ul laaha wa Rasoolahooo in kuntum mu'mineen |
| English (Pickthall) | They ask thee (O Muhammad) of the spoils of war. Say: The spoils of war belong to Allah and the messenger, so keep your duty to Allah, and adjust the matter of your difference, and obey Allah and His messenger, if ye are (true) believers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They ask thee concerning (things taken as) spoils of war. Say: "(such) spoils are at the disposal of Allah and the Messenger: So fear Allah, and keep straight the relations between yourselves: Obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the bounties [of war]. Say, "The [decision concerning] bounties is for Allah and the Messenger." So fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you should be believers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Your Companions ask you O Messenger about the gains of war and how to distribute it, and who it should be for. Say to them: 'The gains of war are for Allah and His Messenger to distribute, and it is only incumbent on you to accept and comply in the matter, so be mindful of Allah, following what He instructed and staying away from what He had prohibited, correct disagreements between yourselves and mend bad relations, and develop good terms with each other through treating each other in a good way and forgiving each other. Follow Allah and His Messenger if you are true believers, for surely faith leads to doing good and staying away from disobedience.' This matter came up after the Battle of Badr. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल) तुम से लोग अनफाल (माले ग़नीमत) के बारे में पूछा करते हैं तुम कह दो कि अनफाल मख़सूस ख़ुदा और रसूल के वास्ते है तो ख़ुदा से डरो (और) अपने बाहमी (आपसी) मामलात की इसलाह करो और अगर तुम सच्चे (ईमानदार) हो तो ख़ुदा की और उसके रसूल की इताअत करो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) आपके साथी आपसे ग़नीमतों (युद्ध में प्राप्त होने वाले धन) के विषय में पूछते हैं कि उन्हें कैसे विभाजित किया जाएगा? और किन लोगों में वितरण किया जाएगा? (ऐ रसूल!) उनके प्रश्न का उत्तर देते हुए कह दें : ग़नीमतें (युद्ध में प्राप्त धन) अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के लिए हैं और उन्हें खर्च करने और बाँटने के विषय में निर्णय का अधिकार अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का है। तुम्हारा काम केवल मान लेना और आज्ञापालन करना है। अतः (ऐ मोमिनो!) तुम अल्लाह से, उसके आदेशों का पालन करके और उसकी मना की हुई बातों से दूर रहकर, डरो। तथा तुम्हारे बीच जो संबंध-विच्छेद और वियोग है, उसे आपसी प्रेम, परस्पर संपर्क (संयोग), अच्छे शिष्टाचार और क्षमा के द्वारा सुधार लो। और अगर तुम सच में ईमान वाले हो, तो अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की आज्ञा का पालन करो। क्योंकि ईमान आज्ञापालन करने और गुनाहों से दूर रहने की प्रेरणा देता है। यह प्रश्न बद्र के युद्ध के बाद किया गया था। |
| Ayah 2 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنَّمَا المُؤمِنونَ الَّذينَ إِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَت قُلوبُهُم وَإِذا تُلِيَت عَلَيهِم آياتُهُ زادَتهُم إيمانًا وَعَلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَتَوَكَّلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Innama almuminoona allatheena itha thukira Allahu wajilat quloobuhum waitha tuliyat AAalayhim ayatuhu zadathum eemanan waAAala rabbihim yatawakkaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innamal mu'minoonal lazeena izaa zukiral laahu wajilat quloobuhum wa izaa tuliyat 'alaihim Aayaatuhoo zaadat hum eemaananw wa 'alaa Rabbihim yatawakkaloon |
| English (Pickthall) | They only are the (true) believers whose hearts feel fear when Allah is mentioned, and when His revelations are recited unto them they increase their faith, and who trust in their Lord; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | For, Believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord; |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely - |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The true believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel awe of Him in their hearts, which make them do good actions. When the verses of Allah are read to them they reflect on them and it increases their faith, and they rely on Allah alone to bring them what is in their interests and to protect them from what is bad for them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ईमानवाले तो वही लोग है जिनके दिल उस समय काँप उठे जबकि अल्लाह को याद किया जाए। और जब उनके सामने उसकी आयतें पढ़ी जाएँ तो वे उनके ईमान को और अधिक बढ़ा दें और वे अपने रब पर भरोसा रखते हों |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | सच्चे ईमानदार तो बस वही लोग हैं कि जब (उनके सामने) ख़ुदा का ज़िक्र किया जाता है तो उनके दिल हिल जाते हैं और जब उनके सामने उसकी आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं तो उनके ईमान को और भी ज्यादा कर देती हैं और वह लोग बस अपने परवरदिगार ही पर भरोसा रखते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वास्तव में, ईमान वाले वही लोग हैं कि जब अल्लाह का वर्णन किया जाए, तो उनके दिल काँप उठते हैं, और उनके दिल और शरीर आज्ञापालन की ओर आकर्षित हो जाते हैं, और जब उनके सामने अल्लाह की आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं, तो उनपर चिंतन करते हैं, जिसके फलस्वरूप उनका ईमान बढ़ जाता है, तथा वे अपने हितों को प्राप्त करने और अपनी बुराइयों को दूर करने में केवल अपने पालनहार ही पर भरोसा करते हैं। |

| عَرَبِي | الَّذينَ يُقيمونَ الصَّلاةَ وَمِمّا رَزَقناهُم يُنفِقونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allatheena yuqeemoona alssalata wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allazeena yuqeemoonas Salaata wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Who establish worship and spend of that We have bestowed on them. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | The ones who establish prayer, and from what We have provided them, they spend. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who regularly establish the prayer, as it should be established, and in its set times, and who spend from what Allah has provided-on what is obligatory as well as what is recommended. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ये वे लोग हैं जो नमाज़ क़ायम करते है और जो कुछ हमने दिया है उसमें से ख़र्च करते हैं |

| Ayah 4 |
| عَرَبِي | أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُؤمِنونَ حَقًّا ۚ لَهُم دَرَجاتٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِم وَمَغفِرَةٌ وَرِزقٌ كَريمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Olaika humu almuminoona haqqan lahum darajatun AAinda rabbihim wamaghfiratun warizqun kareemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Ulaaa'ika humul mu'minoona haqqaa; lahum darajaatun 'inda Rabbihim wa magh firatunw wa rizqun kareem |
| English (Pickthall) | Those are they who are in truth believers. For them are grades (of honour) with their Lord, and pardon, and a bountiful provision. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Such in truth are the believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord and forgiveness and noble provision. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Such people are true believers, combining the qualities of inner faith and outer surrender. Their reward is in having a high rank with their Lord, forgiveness for their disobedience, and a generous provision, which is the bliss that Allah has prepared for them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वही लोग वास्तव में ईमानवाले है। उनके लिेए रब के पास बड़े दर्जे है और क्षमा और सम्मानित उत्तम आजीविका भी |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | यही तो सच्चे ईमानदार हैं उन्हीं के लिए उनके परवरदिगार के हॉ (बड़े बड़े) दरजे हैं और बख्शिश और इज्ज़त और आबरू के साथ रोज़ी है (ये माले ग़नीमत का झगड़ा वैसा ही है) |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | इन्हीं विशेषताओं के मालिक लोग सच्चे ईमान वाले हैं; क्योंकि उनके अंदर ईमान और इस्लाम की ज़ाहिरी विशेषताएँ मौजूद हैं। और उनका बदला उनके पालनहार के पास ऊँचे-ऊँचे घर, उनके गुनाहों की क्षमा और सम्मानित (उत्तम) जीविका है। ये वही नेमतें हैं, जो अल्लाह ने उनके लिए तैयार कर रखी हैं। |
| Ayah 5 |
| عَرَبِي | كَما أَخرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِن بَيتِكَ بِالحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَريقًا مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ لَكارِهونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Kama akhrajaka rabbuka min baytika bialhaqqi wainna fareeqan mina almumineena lakarihoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Kaamaaa akhrajaka Rabbuka mim baitika bilhaqq; wa inna fareeqam minal mu'mineena lakaarihoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Even as thy Lord caused thee (Muhammad) to go forth from thy home with the Truth, and lo! a party of the believers were averse (to it). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Just as thy Lord ordered thee out of thy house in truth, even though a party among the Believers disliked it, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [It is] just as when your Lord brought you out of your home [for the battle of Badr] in truth, while indeed, a party among the believers were unwilling, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Just as Allah took away the decision about the division of the gains of war from the Companions after their disagreement about how to distribute it, and made the decision for Himself and His Messenger (peace be upon him), He also instructed the Messenger (peace be upon him), through inspiration, to go out from Medina to meet the idol worshippers, although a group of the believers disliked this. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिस प्रकार अल्लाह पाक ने, युद्ध में प्राप्त धन को विभाजित करने का मामला, उसके विभाजन के बारे में तुम्हारी असहमति और विवाद के बाद, तुम्हारे हाथ से ले लिया और उसे अल्लाह एवं उसके रसूल सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम के अधिकार में दे दिया, उसी तरह आपके पालनहार ने (ऐ रसूल!) आपपर वह़्य उतारकर, बहुदेववादियों से युद्ध करने के लिए आपको मदीना से निकलने का आदेश दिया है, हालाँकि मोमिनों के एक गिरोह को यह पसंद नहीं था। |

| عَرَبِي | يُجادِلونَكَ فِي الحَقِّ بَعدَما تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّما يُساقونَ إِلَى المَوتِ وَهُم يَنظُرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yujadiloonaka fee alhaqqi baAAdama tabayyana kaannama yusaqoona ila almawti wahum yanthuroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yujaadiloonaka fil haqqi ba'da maa tabaiyana kaannamaa yasaaqoona ilal mawti wa hum uanzuroon |
| English (Pickthall) | Disputing with thee of the Truth after it had been made manifest, as if they were being driven to death visible. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Disputing with thee concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death and they (actually) saw it. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Arguing with you concerning the truth after it had become clear, as if they were being driven toward death while they were looking on. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | This group of the believers argued with the Messenger about fighting the idolaters, after it had been made clear to them that it had to happen, as if they were being driven to death, looking at it with open eyes. Their reaction was due to their strong dislike of going out to fight, because they were not prepared or ready for it. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) मोमिनों का यह समूह बहुदेववादियों से युद्ध करने के बारे में आपके साथ बहस कर रहा था, जबकि उनके लिए यह स्पष्ट हो चुका था कि युद्ध होनी ही है। ऐसा मालूम हो रहा था कि वे मौत की ओर हाँके जा रहे हैं और वे उसे अपनी आँखों से देख रहे हैं। ऐसा इसलिए था कि उन्हें युद्ध के लिए निकलना सख़्त नापसंद था; क्योंकि उन्होंने उसके लिए कोई तैयारी नहीं की थी। |

| عَرَبِي | وَإِذ يَعِدُكُمُ اللَّهُ إِحدَى الطّائِفَتَينِ أَنَّها لَكُم وَتَوَدّونَ أَنَّ غَيرَ ذاتِ الشَّوكَةِ تَكونُ لَكُم وَيُريدُ اللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ الحَقَّ بِكَلِماتِهِ وَيَقطَعَ دابِرَ الكافِرينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waith yaAAidukumu Allahu ihda alttaifatayni annaha lakum watawaddoona anna ghayra thati alshshawkati takoonu lakum wayureedu Allahu an yuhiqqa alhaqqa bikalimatihi wayaqtaAAa dabira alkafireena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa iz ya'idukumul laahu ihdat taaa'ifataini annahaa lakum wa tawaddoona anna ghaira zaatish shawkati takoonu lakum wa yureedul laahu ai yuhiqqal haqqa bikalimaatihee wa taqta'a daabiral kaafireen |
| English (Pickthall) | And when Allah promised you one of the two bands (of the enemy) that it should be yours, and ye longed that other than the armed one might be yours. And Allah willed that He should cause the Truth to triumph by His words, and cut the root of the disbelievers; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Remember, O believers], when Allah promised you one of the two groups - that it would be yours - and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours. But Allah intended to establish the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Allah reminds the believers who were arguing about when Allah promised them success over one of the groups of the idolaters: either the caravan with its sizeable wealth, so that they could take its bounty, or a group of fighters whom they would encounter and achieve victory over them; but they had wanted it to be the caravan, as this would be easy to take without having to fight. Yet Allah willed for the truth to be established through commanding them to fight, to kill the leaders of the idolaters, and to capture many of them so that the strength of Islam would become clear. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और याद करो जब अल्लाह तुमसे वादा कर रहा था कि दो गिरोहों में से एक तुम्हारे हाथ आएगा और तुम चाहते थे कि तुम्हें वह हाथ आए, जो निःशस्त्र था, हालाँकि अल्लाह चाहता था कि अपने वचनों से सत्य को सत्य कर दिखाए और इनकार करनेवालों की जड़ काट दे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और उसे (अपनी ऑंखों से) देख रहे हैं और (ये वक्त था) जब ख़ुदा तुमसे वायदा कर रहा था कि (कुफ्फार मक्का) दो जमाअतों में से एक तुम्हारे लिए ज़रूरी हैं और तुम ये चाहते थे कि कमज़ोर जमाअत तुम्हारे हाथ लगे (ताकि बग़ैर लड़े भिड़े माले ग़नीमत हाथ आ जाए) और ख़ुदा ये चाहता था कि अपनी बातों से हक़ को साबित (क़दम) करें और काफिरों की जड़ काट डाले |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और ऐ (झगड़ने वाले मोमिनो!) उस समय को याद करो, जब अल्लाह तुम्हें वचन दे रहा था कि तुम्हें बहुदेववादियों के दो गिरोहों में से एक पर विजय ज़रूर प्राप्त होगी। यह गिरोह या तो काफ़िला की शक्ल में होगा, जिसपर क़ब्ज़ा करके तुम उसके साथ मौजूद धन को ग़नीमत के धन के तौर पर प्राप्त कर लोगे, या मक्का से आए हुए जत्थे की शक्ल में होगा, जिससे लड़ाई करके उसपर विजय प्राप्त करोगे। और तुम चाहते थे कि तुम्हारा सामना क़ाफ़िले ही से हो, क्योंकि उसे बिना किसी लड़ाई के अपने नियंत्रण में करना आसान था। और अल्लाह चाहता था कि तुम्हें लड़ने का आदेश देकर सत्य को सत्य कर दिखाए; ताकि तुम बहुदेववादियों के सरदारों को क़त्ल करो, और उनमें से बहुतों को बंदी बना लो, और इस तरह इस्लाम की शक्ति का प्रदर्शन हो। |
| Ayah 8 |
| عَرَبِي | لِيُحِقَّ الحَقَّ وَيُبطِلَ الباطِلَ وَلَو كَرِهَ المُجرِمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Liyuhiqqa alhaqqa wayubtila albatila walaw kariha almujrimoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Liyuhiqqal haqqa wa tubtilal baatila wa law karihal mujrimoon |
| English (Pickthall) | That He might cause the Truth to triumph and bring vanity to naught, however much the guilty might oppose; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | That He might justify Truth and prove Falsehood false, distasteful though it be to those in guilt. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That He should establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even if the criminals disliked it. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | This occurred so that Allah may establish the truth by making Islam and its people victorious, and for Him to make clear the error of falsehood, even if the idolaters disliked this. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ताकि सत्य को सत्य कर दिखाए और असत्य को असत्य, चाहे अपराधियों को कितना ही अप्रिय लगे |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ताकि अल्लाह इस्लाम और मुसलमानों को विजय प्रदान करके सत्य को सत्य कर दिखाए, इस प्रकार कि उसकी सत्यता के सबूत प्रदर्शित कर दे। तथा असत्य के असत्य होने के प्रमाण सामने लाकर उसकी असत्यता को साबित कर दे। यद्यपि काफ़िरों को यह बुरा लगे, लेकिन अल्लाह इसे प्रकट ही करने वाला था। |

| عَرَبِي | إِذ تَستَغيثونَ رَبَّكُم فَاستَجابَ لَكُم أَنّي مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلفٍ مِنَ المَلائِكَةِ مُردِفينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ith tastagheethoona rabbakum faistajaba lakum annee mumiddukum bialfin mina almalaikati murdifeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Iz tastagheesoona Rabbakum fastajaaba lakum annee mumiddukum bi alfim minal malaaa'ikati murdifeen |
| English (Pickthall) | When ye sought help of your Lord and He answered you (saying): I will help you with a thousand of the angels, rank on rank. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, "Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember the day of Badr, when the Muslims asked for help from Allah for victory over their enemies, and Allah responded to them, reinforcing and helping them with a thousand angels, following one after another. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | याद करो जब तुम अपने रब से फ़रियाद कर रहे थे, तो उसने तुम्हारी पुकार सुन ली। (उसने कहा,) "मैं एक हजार फ़रिश्तों से तुम्हारी मदद करूँगा जो तुम्हारे साथी होंगे।" |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | बद्र के दिन को याद करो, जब तुमने अल्लाह से अपने दुश्मन के विरुद्ध सहायता माँगी, तो अल्लाह ने तुम्हारी दुआ क़बूल कर ली कि वह एक हज़ार फ़रिश्तों के द्वारा (ऐ मोमिनो!) तुम्हारी मदद करने वाला है, जो एक-दूसरे के पीछे आएँगे। |
| Ayah 10 |
| عَرَبِي | وَما جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلّا بُشرىٰ وَلِتَطمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلوبُكُم ۚ وَمَا النَّصرُ إِلّا مِن عِندِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزيزٌ حَكيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wama jaAAalahu Allahu illa bushra walitatmainna bihi quloobukum wama alnnasru illa min AAindi Allahi inna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa maa ja'alahul laahu illaa bushraa wa litatma'inna bihee quloobukum; wa man nasru illaa min 'indil laah; innal laaha Azeezun Hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | Allah appointed it only as good tidings, and that your hearts thereby might be at rest. Victory cometh only by the help of Allah. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And Allah made it not but good tidings and so that your hearts would be assured thereby. And victory is not but from Allah. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Allah made the reinforcement of the Muslims with angels a form of good news for them: that He was helping them against their enemies, reassuring their hearts that they would have victory over them. Victory does not come because of having great numbers of fighters, or having large amounts of weapons and preparations; rather, it comes only from Allah, Glory be to Him. Allah is Mighty in His power, no one has power over Him, and He is Wise in His law and His decree. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अल्लाह ने यह केवल इसलिए किया कि यह एक शुभ-सूचना हो और ताकि इससे तुम्हारे हृदय संतुष्ट हो जाएँ। सहायता अल्लाह ही के यहाँ से होती है। निस्संदेह अल्लाह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (ये इमदाद ग़ैबी) ख़ुदा ने सिर्फ तुम्हारी ख़ातिर (खुशी) के लिए की थी और तुम्हारे दिल मुतमइन हो जाएं और (याद रखो) मदद ख़ुदा के सिवा और कहीं से (कभी) नहीं होती बेशक ख़ुदा ग़ालिब हिकमत वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अल्लाह ने फ़रिश्तों के द्वारा सहायता को तुम्हारे लिए (ऐ मोमिनो!) केवल इस बात की शुभ सूचना बनाया है कि वह तुम्हारे दुश्मनों के विरुद्ध तुम्हारी मदद करने वाला है, और ताकि मदद के यक़ीन के साथ तुम्हारे दिलों को संतोष प्राप्त हो जाए। और (दरअसल) विजय संख्याओं की अधिकता और उपकरणों की प्रचुरता के आधार पर प्राप्त नहीं होती, बल्कि विजय अल्लाह की ओर से मिलती है। निःसंदेह अल्लाह अपने राज्य में प्रभुत्वशाली है, उसपर किसी का ज़ोर नहीं चलता। अपने विधान और निर्णय (नियति) में हिकमत वाला है। |
| Ayah 11 |
| عَرَبِي | إِذ يُغَشّيكُمُ النُّعاسَ أَمَنَةً مِنهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيكُم مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً لِيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِ وَيُذهِبَ عَنكُم رِجزَ الشَّيطانِ وَلِيَربِطَ عَلىٰ قُلوبِكُم وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الأَقدامَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ith yughashsheekumu alnnuAAasa amanatan minhu wayunazzilu AAalaykum mina alssamai maan liyutahhirakum bihi wayuthhiba AAankum rijza alshshaytani waliyarbita AAala quloobikum wayuthabbita bihi alaqdama |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Iz yughashsheekumun nu'assa amanatam minhu wa yunazzilu 'alaikum minas samaaa'i maaa'al liyutah hirakum bihee wa yuzhiba 'ankum rijzash Shaitaani wa liyarbita 'ala quloobikum wa yusabbita bihil aqdaam |
| English (Pickthall) | When He made the slumber fall upon you as a reassurance from him and sent down water from the sky upon you, that thereby He might purify you, and remove from you the fear of Satan, and make strong your hearts and firm (your) feet thereby. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Remember] when He overwhelmed you with drowsiness [giving] security from Him and sent down upon you from the sky, rain by which to purify you and remove from you the evil [suggestions] of Satan and to make steadfast your hearts and plant firmly thereby your feet. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And remember O believers when Allah made you fall asleep on that occasion, giving you a feeling of safety and peace from the fear you had of your enemy. He sent down rain from the sky on you, to purify you, and to remove the evil suggestions of Satan from you and to make your hearts strong, so you would be patient when you met the enemy in battle. It also made your feet firm, by making the sandy ground hard so that your feet would not sink and slip on it. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह करो जबकि वह अपनी ओर से चैन प्रदान कर तुम्हें ऊँघ से ढँक रहा था और वह आकाश से तुमपर पानी बरसा रहा था, ताकि उसके द्वारा तुम्हें अच्छी तरह पाक करे और शैतान की गन्दगी तुमसे दूर करे और तुम्हारे दिलों को मज़बूत करे और उसके द्वारा तुम्हारे क़दमों को जमा दे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये वह वक्त था जब अपनी तरफ से इत्मिनान देने के लिए तुम पर नींद को ग़ालिब कर रहा था और तुम पर आसमान से पानी बरस रहा था ताकि उससे तुम्हें पाक (पाकीज़ा कर दे और तुम से शैतान की गन्दगी दूर कर दे और तुम्हारे दिल मज़बूत कर दे और पानी से (बालू जम जाए) और तुम्हारे क़दम ब क़दम (अच्छी तरह) जमाए रहे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ मोमिनो!) उस समय को याद करो, जब अल्लाह तुम्हें अपने दुश्मन से होने वाले भय को दूर करने के लिए तुमपर ऊँघ डाल रहा था, तथा तुमपर आकाश से जल बरसा रहा था; ताकि तुम्हें मलिनता से पवित्र कर दे, और ताकि तुमसे शैतान के बुरे ख़यालों को दूर कर दे, और ताकि उसके द्वारा तुम्हारे दिलों को सुदृढ़ कर दे, ताकि मुठभेड़ के समय तुम्हारे शरीर स्थिर रहें, और ताकि उसकी वजह से रेतीली ज़मीन को ठोस करके तुम्हारे क़दमों को जमा दे ताकि उसमें तुम्हारे पाँव न धँसें। |
| Ayah 12 |
| عَرَبِي | إِذ يوحي رَبُّكَ إِلَى المَلائِكَةِ أَنّي مَعَكُم فَثَبِّتُوا الَّذينَ آمَنوا ۚ سَأُلقي في قُلوبِ الَّذينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعبَ فَاضرِبوا فَوقَ الأَعناقِ وَاضرِبوا مِنهُم كُلَّ بَنانٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ith yoohee rabbuka ila almalaikati annee maAAakum fathabbitoo allatheena amanoo saolqee fee quloobi allatheena kafaroo alrruAAba faidriboo fawqa alaAAnaqi waidriboo minhum kulla bananin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Iz yoohee Rabbuka ilal malaaa'ikati annee ma'akum fasabbitul lazeena aamanoo; sa ulqee fee quloobil lazeena kafarur ru'ba fadriboo fawqal a'naaqi wadriboo minhum kulla banaan |
| English (Pickthall) | When thy Lord inspired the angels, (saying): I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember O Prophet when Allah inspired the angels, who He reinforced the believers with in the Battle of Badr, telling the angels: I am with you. aiding you with help and support, so strengthen the determination of the believers in fighting their enemy. I will cast great fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Strike then the necks of the disbelievers to kill them and hit their joints and limbs to hinder them from fighting. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | याद करो जब तुम्हारा रब फ़रिश्तों की ओर प्रकाशना (वह्य्) कर रहा था कि "मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ। अतः तुम ईमानवालों को जमाए रखो। मैं इनकार करनेवालों के दिलों में रोब डाले देता हूँ। तो तुम उनकी गरदनें मारो और उनके पोर-पोर पर चोट लगाओ!" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल ये वह वक्त था) जब तुम्हारा परवरदिगार फ़रिश्तों से फरमा रहा था कि मै यकीनन तुम्हारे साथ हूँ तुम ईमानदारों को साबित क़दम रखो मै बहुत जल्द काफिरों के दिलों में (तुम्हारा रौब) डाल दूँगा (पस फिर क्या है अब) तो उन कुफ्फार की गर्दनों पर मारो और उनकी पोर पोर को चटिया कर दो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ नबी!) जब आपका पालनहार उन फ़रिश्तों की ओर वह़्य कर रहा था, जिन्हें बद्र के दिन मोमिनों की सहायता के लिए भेजा था कि (ऐ फ़रिश्तो!) मैं मदद और समर्थन के द्वारा तुम्हारे साथ हूँ। अतः अपने दुश्मनों से लड़ने में मोमिनों के संकल्प को मज़बूत करो। मैं शीघ्र ही काफ़िरों के दिलों में अत्यधिक भय डाल दूँगा। इसलिए तुम (ऐ मोमिनो!) काफ़िरों की गरदनें उड़ाते जाओ, ताकि उनका काम तमाम हो जाए, और उनके जोड़ों और शरीर के अंगों पर वार किए जाओ, ताकि तुमसे युद्ध करने से असमर्थ हो जाएँ। |
| Ayah 13 |
| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُم شاقُّوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ ۚ وَمَن يُشاقِقِ اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَديدُ العِقابِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalika biannahum shaqqoo Allaha warasoolahu waman yushaqiqi Allaha warasoolahu fainna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalika bi annahum shaaaqqul laaha wa Rasoolah; wa mai yushaqiqil laaha wa Rasoolahoo fa innal laaha shadeedul 'iqaab |
| English (Pickthall) | That is because they opposed Allah and His messenger. Whoso opposeth Allah and His messenger, (for him) lo! Allah is severe in punishment. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger: If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger - indeed, Allah is severe in penalty. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | What happened to the disbelievers, when they were killed and their limbs were struck, was because they went against Allah and His Messenger. They did not follow what they were instructed to do, and did not stop doing what they were told not to do. Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, Allah is firm with the punishment for them in this world, with death and capture, and in the Afterlife, with the fire of Hell. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह इसलिए कि उन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का विरोध किया। और जो कोई अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का विरोध करे (उसे कठोर यातना मिलकर रहेगी) क्योंकि अल्लाह कड़ी यातना देनेवाला है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये (सज़ा) इसलिए है कि उन लोगों ने ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल की मुख़ालिफ की और जो शख़्स (भी) ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल की मुख़ालफ़त करेगा तो (याद रहें कि) ख़ुदा बड़ा सख्त अज़ाब करने वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | काफ़िरों के क़त्ल किए जाने और उनके अंगों के भंग किए जाने का कारण यह है कि उन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का विरोध किया। चुनाँचे उन्हें जो आदेश दिया गया था, उसका उन्होंने पालन नहीं किया, और उन्हें जिस चीज़ से मना किया गया था, उससे नहीं रुके। तथा जो कोई भी अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का विरोध करे, तो अल्लाह उसे दुनिया में क़त्ल और क़ैद, तथा आख़िरत में जहन्नम की आग के द्वारा, कठोर यातना देने वाला है। |
| Ayah 14 |
| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكُم فَذوقوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلكافِرينَ عَذابَ النّارِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalikum fathooqoohu waanna lilkafireena AAathaba alnnari |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalikum fazooqoohu wa anna lilkaafireena 'azaaban Naar |
| English (Pickthall) | That (is the award), so taste it, and (know) that for disbelievers is the torment of the Fire. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | "That [is yours], so taste it." And indeed for the disbelievers is the punishment of the Fire. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | That is the punishment for you, O you who oppose Allah and His Messenger, so taste it, for it has been hastened to you in the life of this world. In the Afterlife, you will have the punishment of the fire of Hell if you die stubbornly denying the truth. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का विरोध करने वालो!) यह उक्त सज़ा तुम्हारे लिए है। तो इसे दुनिया के जीवन में अग्रिम ही चखो, और आख़िरत में तुम्हारे लिए आग की यातना है, यदि तुम अपने कुफ़्र और हठ की अवस्था में मर गए। |
| Ayah 15 |
| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا إِذا لَقيتُمُ الَّذينَ كَفَروا زَحفًا فَلا تُوَلّوهُمُ الأَدبارَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha laqeetumu allatheena kafaroo zahfan fala tuwalloohumu aladbara |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo izaa laqeetumul lazeena kafaroo zahfan falaa tuwalloohumul adbaar |
| English (Pickthall) | O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O you who have believed, when you meet those who disbelieve advancing [for battle], do not turn to them your backs [in flight]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O you who believe in Allah and who follow His Messenger, if you meet the idolaters approaching them in battle, then do not turn your backs to them and run away; but be patient when facing them, and firm when you meet, because Allah is with you with His help and support. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान लाने और उसके रसूल का अनुसरण करने वालो! जब युद्ध के मैदान में मुश्रिकों से आमने-सामना हो जाओ, तो उनसे हार न मानो और उनसे पीठ फेरकर न भागो, बल्कि उनके सामने डट जाओ और धैर्य के साथ उनका मुक़ाबला करो। क्योंकि अल्लाह अपनी मदद और समर्थन के द्वारा तुम्हारे साथ है। |
| Ayah 16 |
| عَرَبِي | وَمَن يُوَلِّهِم يَومَئِذٍ دُبُرَهُ إِلّا مُتَحَرِّفًا لِقِتالٍ أَو مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلىٰ فِئَةٍ فَقَد باءَ بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَمَأواهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئسَ المَصيرُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waman yuwallihim yawmaithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fiatin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wamawahu jahannamu wabisa almaseeru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa mai yuwallihim yawma'izin duburahooo illaa mutaharrifal liqitaalin aw mutahaiyizan ilaa fi'atin faqad baaa'a bighadabim minal laahi wa maawaahu Jahannamu wa bi'sal maseer |
| English (Pickthall) | Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless manoeuvring for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey's end. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And whoever turns his back to them on such a day, unless swerving [as a strategy] for war or joining [another] company, has certainly returned with anger [upon him] from Allah, and his refuge is Hell - and wretched is the destination. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And whoever turns their back running away- unless they are withdrawing as a strategy with the intention of turning back to fight, or doing it to join a group of Muslims in order to help them-then certainly, he will earn the anger of Allah, and his place in the Hereafter will be Hell; what a miserable destination and final destiny! |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिस किसी ने भी उस दिन उनसे अपनी पीठ फेरी - यह और बात है कि युद्ध-चाल के रूप में या दूसरी टुकड़ी से मिलने के लिए ऐसा करे - तो वह अल्लाह के प्रकोप का भागी हुआ और उसका ठिकाना जहन्नम है, और क्या ही बुरा जगह है वह पहुँचने की! |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (याद रहे कि) उस शख़्स के सिवा जो लड़ाई वास्ते कतराए या किसी जमाअत के पास (जाकर) मौके पाए (और) जो शख़्स भी उस दिन उन कुफ्फ़ार की तरफ पीठ फेरेगा वह यक़ीनी (हिर फिर के) ख़ुदा के ग़जब में आ गया और उसका ठिकाना जहन्नुम ही हैं और वह क्या बुरा ठिकाना है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जो व्यक्ति उनसे भागते हुए अपनी पीठ फेरे, जबकि वह उनसे लड़ाई के लिए मुड़ने वाला नहीं है कि वह चाल के तौर पर उनसे भागने का दिखावा करे, जबकि वह पलटकर उनपर हमला करना चाहता हो, या वह मदद लेने के लिए मुसलमानों के किसी उपस्थित समूह में शामिल होने वाला नहीं है, तो निश्चय वह अल्लाह के प्रकोप के साथ लौटा और उसका हक़दार हो गया, और आख़िरत में उसका ठिकाना जहन्नम है और उसका वह ठिकाना बहुत बुरा है और उसके पलटने की वह जगह बहुत बुरी है। |
| Ayah 17 |
| عَرَبِي | فَلَم تَقتُلوهُم وَلٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ قَتَلَهُم ۚ وَما رَمَيتَ إِذ رَمَيتَ وَلٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ رَمىٰ ۚ وَلِيُبلِيَ المُؤمِنينَ مِنهُ بَلاءً حَسَنًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَميعٌ عَليمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Falam taqtuloohum walakinna Allaha qatalahum wama ramayta ith ramayta walakinna Allaha rama waliyubliya almumineena minhu balaan hasanan inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Falam taqtuloohum wa laakinnal laaha qatalahum; wa maa ramaita iz ramaita wa laakinnal laaha ramaa; wa liyubliyal mu'mineena minhu balaaa'an hasanaa; innal laaha Samee'un Aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | Ye (Muslims) slew them not, but Allah slew them. And thou (Muhammad) threwest not when thou didst throw, but Allah threw, that He might test the believers by a fair test from Him. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw that He might test the believers with a good test. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | For you did not O believers, kill the idolaters on the day of Badr because of your power and might, but rather Allah supported you in that. And you O Prophet did not throw sand at the idolaters, rather it was Allah, Who made what you throw reach them. Allah tested the believers by blessing them with victory over their enemies, despite their small numbers of fighters and weapons, so that they might be thankful to Him. Indeed Allah listens to your prayers and what you say, and He knows what you do, and what is best for you. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तुमने उसे क़त्ल नहीं किया बल्कि अल्लाह ही ने उन्हें क़त्ल किया और जब तुमने (उनकी ओर मिट्टी और कंकड़) फेंक, तो तुमने नहीं फेंका बल्कि अल्लाह ने फेंका (कि अल्लाह अपनी गुण-गरिमा दिखाए) और ताकि अपनी ओर से ईमानवालों के गुण प्रकट करे। निस्संदेह अल्लाह सुनता, जानता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (मुसलमानों) उन कुफ्फ़ार को कुछ तुमने तो क़त्ल किया नही बल्कि उनको तो ख़ुदा ने क़त्ल किया और (ऐ रसूल) जब तुमने तीर मारा तो कुछ तुमने नही मारा बल्कि ख़ुदा ख़ुदा ने तीर मारा और ताकि अपनी तरफ से मोमिनीन पर खूब एहसान करे बेशक ख़ुदा (सबकी) सुनता और (सब कुछ) जानता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ मोमिनो!) तुमने बद्र के दिन मुश्रिकों को अपनी ताक़त और शक्ति से नहीं मारा, बल्कि अल्लाह ने इसमें तुम्हारी मदद की। और (ऐ नबी!) जब आपने मुश्रिकों की ओर मिट्टी फेंकी, तो आपने मिट्टी नहीं फेंकी, बल्कि अल्लाह ही ने फेंकी, जब आपकी फेंकी हुई मिट्टी को उनके पास पहुँचा दिया। और ताकि वह मोमिनों को अपने इस उपकार के साथ आज़माए कि उसने उन्हें संख्याबल और उपकरणों की कमी के बावजूद उनके दुश्मन पर विजय प्रदान किया ताकि वे उसका शुक्रिया अदा करें। निश्चय अल्लाह तुम्हारी दुआओं और बातों को सुनने वाला, तथा तुम्हारे कर्मों और हितों को जानने वाला है। |
| Ayah 18 |
| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكُم وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ موهِنُ كَيدِ الكافِرينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalikum waanna Allaha moohinu kaydi alkafireena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalikum wa annal laaha moohinu kaidil kaafireen |
| English (Pickthall) | That (is the case); and (know) that Allah (it is) Who maketh weak the plan of disbelievers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That [is so], and [also] that Allah will weaken the plot of the disbelievers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The killing of the idolaters, your throwing, so that they were defeated, as well as Allah’s kindness to the believers giving them victory over their enemy, was all from Allah. Allah makes weak the plans of those who disbelieve and who plot against Islam. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह तो हुआ, और यह (जान लो) कि अल्लाह इनकार करनेवालों की चाल को कमज़ोर कर देनेवाला है |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह उल्लिखित बातें, जैसे मुश्रिकों को क़त्ल करना, उनकी ओर मिट्टी फेंकना यहाँ तक कि वे पराजित हो गए और पीठ फेरकर भाग गए, तथा मुसलमानों को उनके दुश्मन पर विजय प्रदान करना; यह सब अल्लाह की ओर से है। और अल्लाह काफ़िरों की उस चाल को कमज़ोर कर देने वाला है, जो वे इस्लाम के खिलाफ़ चल रहे हैं। |
| Ayah 19 |
| عَرَبِي | إِن تَستَفتِحوا فَقَد جاءَكُمُ الفَتحُ ۖ وَإِن تَنتَهوا فَهُوَ خَيرٌ لَكُم ۖ وَإِن تَعودوا نَعُد وَلَن تُغنِيَ عَنكُم فِئَتُكُم شَيئًا وَلَو كَثُرَت وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ المُؤمِنينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | In tastaftihoo faqad jaakumu alfathu wain tantahoo fahuwa khayrun lakum wain taAAoodoo naAAud walan tughniya AAankum fiatukum shayan walaw kathurat waanna Allaha maAAa almumineena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | In tastaftihoo faqad jaaa'akumul fathu wa in tantahoo fahuwa khairul lakum wa in ta'oodoo na'ud wa lan tughniya 'ankum fi'atukum shai'anw wa law kasurat wa annal laaha ma'al mu'mineen |
| English (Pickthall) | (O Qureysh!) If ye sought a judgment, now hath the judgment come unto you. And if ye cease (from persecuting the believers) it will be better for you, but if ye return (to the attack) We also shall return. And your host will avail you naught, however numerous it be, and (know) that Allah is with the believers (in His Guidance). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | (O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | If you [disbelievers] seek the victory - the defeat has come to you. And if you desist [from hostilities], it is best for you; but if you return [to war], We will return, and never will you be availed by your [large] company at all, even if it should increase; and [that is] because Allah is with the believers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If you ask O idolaters, for the punishment and might of Allah to fall upon the wrongdoers who overstep the limits, then Allah has already made what you asked afflict you, sending down on you what was a lesson for you and for the mindful. If you stop asking for this it would be better for you, so that He might give you time, not giving you what you deserve immediately. But if you return to asking for a judgement and fighting the believers, Allah would also return by afflicting you with punishment and helping the believers. Your people and helpers would not be of any good to you, even if they are many and well prepared and the believers were few in number. Allah is with the believers, helping and supporting them, and whomever Allah assists, then no one will be able to defeat them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यदि तुम फ़ैसला चाहते हो तो फ़ैसला तुम्हारे सामने आ चुका और यदि बाज़ आ जाओ तो यह तुम्हारे ही लिए अच्छा है। लेकिन यदि तुमने पलटकर फिर वही हरकत की तो हम भी पलटेंगे और तुम्हारा जत्था, चाहे वह कितना ही अधिक हो, तुम्हारे कुछ काम न आ सकेगा। और यह कि अल्लाह मोमिनों के साथ होता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (काफ़िर) अगर तुम ये चाहते हो (कि जो हक़ पर हो उसकी) फ़तेह हो (मुसलमानों की) फ़तेह भी तुम्हारे सामने आ मौजूद हुई अब क्या गुरूर बाक़ी है और अगर तुम (अब भी मुख़तलिफ़ इस्लाम) से बाज़ रहो तो तुम्हारे वास्ते बेहतर है और अगर कहीं तुम पलट पड़े तो (याद रहे) हम भी पलट पड़ेगें (और तुम्हें तबाह कर छोड़ देगें) और तुम्हारी जमाअत अगरचे बहुत ज्यादा भी हो हरगिज़ कुछ काम न आएगी और ख़ुदा तो यक़ीनी मामिनीन के साथ है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ बहुदेववादियो!) अगर तुम यह चाहते हो कि अल्लाह अपराधियों व अत्याचारियों पर अपनी यातना उतार दे, तो अल्लाह ने तुमपर वह यातना उतार दी है, जो तुमने माँगी थी। क्योंकि वह तुम्हें ऐसी सज़ा दे चुका है, जो तुम्हारे लिए शिक्षाप्रद और अल्लाह का भय रखने वालों के लिए नसीहत (इबरत) का कारण है। और यदि तुम इसकी माँग से बाज़ आ जाओ, तो यह तुम्हारे लिए उत्तम है। क्योंकि हो सकता है कि अल्लाह तुम्हें मोहलत दे दे और तुमसे बदला लेने में जल्दी न करे। और अगर तुम दोबारा उसकी माँग करने और मुसलमानों से युद्ध करने की ओर लौट आए, तो हम फिर से तुम्हें यातना में डालेंगे और मोमिनों को विजय प्रदान करेंगे। और तुम्हारा जत्था और तुम्हारे सहायक, चाहे वे बहुत अधिक संख्या एवं उपकरण वाले हों और ईमान वालों की संख्या कम हो, तुम्हारे कुछ काम न आएँगे। और इसलिए कि निश्चय अल्लाह की सहायता और समर्थन मोमिनों के साथ है। और जिसके साथ अल्लाह हो, उसे कोई पराजित नहीं कर सकता। |

| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا أَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ وَلا تَوَلَّوا عَنهُ وَأَنتُم تَسمَعونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu wala tawallaw AAanhu waantum tasmaAAoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo atee'ul laaha wa Rasoolahoo wa laa tawallaw 'anhu wa antum tasm'oon |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान लाने और उसके रसूल का अनुसरण करने वालो! अल्लाह की आज्ञा का पालन और उसके रसूल की आज्ञा का पालन, उसके आदेशों पर अमल करके और उसकी मना की हुई चीज़ों से दूर रहकर, करो। तथा उसके आदेश की अवहेलना करके और उसके मना किए हुए कार्य को करके, उससे मुँह न फेरो, जबकि तुम अल्लाह की आयतों को सुनते हो, जो तुम्हारे सामने पढ़ी जाती हैं। |

| عَرَبِي | وَلا تَكونوا كَالَّذينَ قالوا سَمِعنا وَهُم لا يَسمَعونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wala takoonoo kaallatheena qaloo samiAAna wahum la yasmaAAoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena qaaloo sami'naa wa hum laa yasma'oon |
| English (Pickthall) | Be not as those who say, we hear, and they hear not. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while they do not hear. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And do not be O you believers, like the hypocrites and idolators who when the verses of Allah are recited to them, say that they have heard the Qur’ān that has been recited to them, when they have not listened in a reflective way, learning from it so that they would benefit from what they heard. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ मोमिनो!) तुम उन मुनाफ़िक़ों और मुश्रिकों की तरह न हो जाओ, जिनके सामने हमारी आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं तो वे कहते हैं : हमने अपने कानों से वह क़ुरआन सुना, जो हमारे सामने पढ़ा जाता है, हालाँकि वे चिंतन करने और उपदेश ग्रहण करने के उद्देश्य से नहीं सुनते, कि जो कुछ उन्होंने सुना है उससे लाभ उठाएँ। |

| عَرَبِي | ۞ إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوابِّ عِندَ اللَّهِ الصُّمُّ البُكمُ الَّذينَ لا يَعقِلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna sharra alddawabbi AAinda Allahi alssummu albukmu allatheena la yaAAqiloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Inna sharrad dawaaabbi 'indal laahis summul bukmul lazeena laa ya'qiloon |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the deaf, the dumb, who have no sense. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb,- those who understand not. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The worst of creatures on the face of the earth in the sight of Allah are those who are deaf to the truth, not listening to it and accepting it; and dumb, not acknowledging the truth or calling to it, because they do not understand what Allah instructs or forbids. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अल्लाह के निकट धरती पर चलने वाली सारी मख़लूक़ में सबसे बुरे वे बहरे हैं, जो सत्य को स्वीकार करने के लिए नहीं सुनते, वे गूँगे हैं, जो बोल नहीं पाते। क्योंकि वे ऐसे लोग हैं जो अल्लाह के आदेशों और निषेधों को नहीं समझते। |

| عَرَبِي | وَلَو عَلِمَ اللَّهُ فيهِم خَيرًا لَأَسمَعَهُم ۖ وَلَو أَسمَعَهُم لَتَوَلَّوا وَهُم مُعرِضونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walaw AAalima Allahu feehim khayran laasmaAAahum walaw asmaAAahum latawallaw wahum muAAridoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa law 'alimal laahu feehim khairal la asma'ahum; wa law asma'ahum latawallaw wa hum mu'ridoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Had Allah known of any good in them He would have made them hear, but had He made them hear they would have turned away, averse. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | If Allah had found in them any good. He would indeed have made them listen: (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, they would [still] have turned away, while they were refusing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If Allah knew that there was good in these idolaters who reject the truth, He would have made them listen in a way that was beneficial to them, so that they would understand the proof and evidence; but He knows that there is no good in them, and that if He made them hear, they would still turn away stubbornly, rejecting what they heard. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और अगर ख़ुदा उनमें नेकी (की बू भी) देखता तो ज़रूर उनमें सुनने की क़ाबलियत अता करता मगर ये ऐसे हैं कि अगर उनमें सुनने की क़ाबिलयत भी देता तो मुँह फेर कर भागते। |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और अगर अल्लाह जानता कि इन झुठलाने वाले बहुदेववादियों के अंदर कोई भलाई है, तो उन्हें अवश्य इस तरह सुना देता कि वे उससे लाभ उठाते और उसके तर्कों और प्रमाणों को समझते, लेकिन उसे पता है कि उनके अंदर कोई भलाई नहीं है। और अगर (मान लिया जाए कि) अल्लाह उन्हें सुना देता, तो भी वे हठ के कारण ईमान से फिर जाते, इस हाल में कि वे मुँह फेरने वाले होते। |
| Ayah 24 |
| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنُوا استَجيبوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسولِ إِذا دَعاكُم لِما يُحييكُم ۖ وَاعلَموا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحولُ بَينَ المَرءِ وَقَلبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيهِ تُحشَرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo istajeeboo lillahi walilrrasooli itha daAAakum lima yuhyeekum waiAAlamoo anna Allaha yahoolu bayna almari waqalbihi waannahu ilayhi tuhsharoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanus tajeeboo lillaahi wa lir Rasooli izaa da'aakum limaa yuhyeekum wa'lamooo annal laaha yahoolu bainal mar'i wa qalbihee wa anahooo ilaihi tuhsharoon |
| English (Pickthall) | O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and the messenger when He calleth you to that which quickeneth you, and know that Allah cometh in between the man and his own heart, and that He it is unto Whom ye will be gathered. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered. |

And be aware that Allah has power over everything, and He has power over you; so He is able to hinder you from following the truth after you had rejected it. So you should hurry to comply without delay, and be mindful that you will be gathered to Allah alone on the Day of Judgement, and will be rewarded for the actions that you did in this world. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ ईमान लानेवाले! अल्लाह और रसूल की बात मानो, जब वह तुम्हें उस चीज़ की ओर बुलाए जो तुम्हें जीवन प्रदान करनेवाली है, और जान रखो कि अल्लाह आदमी और उसके दिल के बीच आड़े आ जाता है और यह कि वही है जिसकी ओर (पलटकर) तुम एकत्र होगे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ ईमानदार जब तुम को हमारा रसूल (मोहम्मद) ऐसे काम के लिए बुलाए जो तुम्हारी रूहानी ज़िन्दगी का बाइस हो तो तुम ख़ुदा और रसूल के हुक्म दिल से कुबूल कर लो और जान लो कि ख़ुदा वह क़ादिर मुतलिक़ है कि आदमी और उसके दिल (इरादे) के दरमियान इस तरह आ जाता है और ये भी समझ लो कि तुम सबके सब उसके सामने हाज़िर किये जाओगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान रखने और उसके रसूल का अनुसरण करने वालो ! अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की पुकार का, उनके आदेशों का पालन करके और उनके निषेधों से बचकर जवाब दो, जब रसूल तुम्हें उस सत्य के लिए बुलाएँ, जिसमें तुम्हारा जीवन है। और इस बात से सुनिश्चित हो जाओ कि अल्लाह हर चीज़ की शक्ति रखता है। चुनाँचे वह इस बात की शक्ति रखता है कि यदि तुम सत्य को अस्वीकार करने के बाद उसे मानना चाहो तो वह तुम्हारे और सत्य को मानने के बीच रुकावट बन जाए। इसलिए सत्य को स्वीकार करने में जल्दी करो। और इस बात का यक़ीन रखो कि तुम क़ियामत के दिन अकेले अल्लाह ही के पास एकत्र किए जाओगे। फिर वह तुम्हें तुम्हारे दुनिया में किए हुए कर्मों का बदला देगा। |
| Ayah 25 |
| عَرَبِي | وَاتَّقوا فِتنَةً لا تُصيبَنَّ الَّذينَ ظَلَموا مِنكُم خاصَّةً ۖ وَاعلَموا أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَديدُ العِقابِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waittaqoo fitnatan la tuseebanna allatheena thalamoo minkum khassatan waiAAlamoo anna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wattaqoo fitnatal laa tuseebannal lazeena zalamoo minkum khaaaassatanw wa'lamooo annal laaha shadeedul 'iqaab |
| English (Pickthall) | And guard yourselves against a chastisement which cannot fall exclusively on those of you who are wrong-doers, and know that Allah is severe in punishment. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Beware of suffering that does not only reach those who do wrong among you, but reaches you and others as well. This is when disobedience becomes widespread and is not prevented. Be sure that Allah is strong with the punishment for those who go against Him, so beware of opposing Him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | बचो उस फ़ितने से जो अपनी लपेट में विशेष रूप से केवल अत्याचारियों को ही नहीं लेगा, जान लो अल्लाह कठोर दंड देनेवाला है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और उस फितने से डरते रहो जो ख़ास उन्हीं लोगों पर नही पड़ेगा जिन्होने तुम में से ज़ुल्म किया (बल्कि तुम सबके सब उसमें पड़ जाओगे) और यक़ीन मानों कि ख़ुदा बड़ा सख्त अज़ाब करने वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ ईमान वालो!) उस यातना से बचो, जो तुममें से केवल उसी पर नहीं आएगी, जो पापी है, बल्कि उसके साथ-साथ दूसरे लोग भी उसकी चपेट में आएँगे। यह उस समय होगा, जब अत्याचार प्रकट होगा और उसे दूर नहीं किया जाएगा। और यक़ीन मानो कि अल्लाह अपनी अवज्ञा करने वाले को सख़्त सज़ा देने वाला है। अतः उसकी अवज्ञा से बचो। |
| Ayah 26 |
| عَرَبِي | وَاذكُروا إِذ أَنتُم قَليلٌ مُستَضعَفونَ فِي الأَرضِ تَخافونَ أَن يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ النّاسُ فَآواكُم وَأَيَّدَكُم بِنَصرِهِ وَرَزَقَكُم مِنَ الطَّيِّباتِ لَعَلَّكُم تَشكُرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waothkuroo ith antum qaleelun mustadAAafoona fee alardi takhafoona an yatakhattafakumu alnnasu faawakum waayyadakum binasrihi warazaqakum mina alttayyibati laAAallakum tashkuroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wazkurooo iz antum qaleelum mustad 'afoona filardi takhaafoona ai yatakhat tafakumun naasu fa aawaakum wa aiyadakum binasrihee wa razaqakum minat taiyibaati la'allakum tashkuroon |
| English (Pickthall) | And remember, when ye were few and reckoned feeble in the land, and were in fear lest men should extirpate you, how He gave you refuge, and strengthened you with His help, and made provision of good things for you, that haply ye might be thankful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Call to mind when ye were a small (band), despised through the land, and afraid that men might despoil and kidnap you; But He provided a safe asylum for you, strengthened you with His aid, and gave you Good things for sustenance: that ye might be grateful. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And remember when you were few and oppressed in the land, fearing that people might abduct you, but He sheltered you, supported you with His victory, and provided you with good things - that you might be grateful. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember when the believers were in Makkah, and they were few, and the people of Makkah considered them to be weak and overpowered them. They were scared that their enemies would capture them; but Allah brought them together to a safe place, which was Medina, and made them strong, helping them against their enemies on the battlefields, for example at Badr, and giving them good things, among them the war gains they got from their enemies. This was all so that they might be thankful to Allah for His blessings, that He might increase them, and for them not to be ungrateful so that He removes the blessings from them and punishes them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और याद करो जब तुम थोड़े थे, धरती में निर्बल थे, डरे-सहमे रहते कि लोग कहीं तु्म्हें उचक न ले जाएँ, फिर उसने तुम्हें ठिकाना दिया और अपनी सहायता से तुम्हें शक्ति प्रदान की और अच्छी-स्वच्छ चीज़ों की तुम्हें रोजी दी, ताकि तुम कृतज्ञता दिखलाओ |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (मुसलमानों वह वक्त याद करो) जब तुम सर ज़मीन (मक्के) में बहुत कम और बिल्कुल बेबस थे उससे सहमे जाते थे कि कहीं लोग तुमको उचक न ले जाए तो ख़ुदा ने तुमको (मदीने में) पनाह दी और ख़ास अपनी मदद से तुम्हारी ताईद की और तुम्हे पाक व पाकीज़ा चीज़े खाने को दी ताकि तुम शुक्र गुज़ारी करो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा (ऐ ईमान वालो!) उस समय को याद करो, जब तुम मक्का में बहुत कम संख्या में थे, मक्का वाले तुम्हें कमज़ोर समझे हुए थे और तुम्हें दबाए हुए थे। तुम्हें डर था कि तुम्हारे दुश्मन तुम्हें उचक ले जाएँगे। तो अल्लाह ने तुम्हें मदीना के रूप में एक शरण स्थल दिया और युद्ध के स्थानों में तुम्हारे दुश्मनों पर तुम्हें विजय प्रदान करके तुम्हें शक्ति प्रदान की, जैसे कि बद्र के दिन हुआ, और तुम्हें पवित्र चीज़ों से जीविका प्रदान की, जिनमें युद्ध के मैदान में तुम्हारे शत्रुओं से प्राप्त किया हुआ ग़नीमत का धन भी शामिल है, ताकि तुम अल्लाह की नेमतों का शुक्रिया अदा करो, जिसके कारण वह तुम्हें और नेमतें प्रदान करेगा, तथा उनकी नाशुक्री न करो कि अल्लाह तुमसे वे नेमतें छीन ले और तुम्हें यातना से ग्रस्त कर दे। |
| Ayah 27 |
| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا لا تَخونُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسولَ وَتَخونوا أَماناتِكُم وَأَنتُم تَعلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takhoonoo Allaha waalrrasoola watakhoonoo amanatikum waantum taAAlamoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa takhoonal laaha war Rasoola wa takhoonooo amaanaatikum wa antum ta'lamoon |
| English (Pickthall) | O ye who believe! Betray not Allah and His messenger, nor knowingly betray your trusts. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O ye that believe! betray not the trust of Allah and the Messenger, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O you who believe in Allah and follow His Messenger, do not betray Allah and His Messenger by disobeying the commands and failing to stay away from the prohibitions. You must not knowingly betray your trusts, such as debts and so on. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान रखने और उसके रसूल का अनुसरण करने वालो! अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के साथ, उनके आदेशों का पालन न करके और उनके निषेधों से न बचकर, विश्वासघात न करो, तथा तुम्हारे पास जो अमानत रखी जाए उसमें ख़यानत न करो, जबकि तुम जान रहे हो कि तुम्हारा यह काम ख़यानत है, अन्यथा तुम ख़यानत करने वालों में से हो जाओगे। |

| عَرَبِي | وَاعلَموا أَنَّما أَموالُكُم وَأَولادُكُم فِتنَةٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ أَجرٌ عَظيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | WaiAAlamoo annama amwalukum waawladukum fitnatun waanna Allaha AAindahu ajrun AAatheemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa'lamooo annamaaa amwaalukum wa awlaadukum fitnatunw wa annal laaha 'indahooo ajrun azeem |
| English (Pickthall) | And know that your possessions and your children are a test, and that with Allah is immense reward. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allah with Whom lies your highest reward. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Be aware O believers that your wealth and children are a test for you, and your conduct with them may prevent you from performing good actions for your Afterlife, or lead to betraying your trusts. Know that with Allah is a great reward, so be careful not to lose this reward because of becoming engrossed with them, and you cheating the people because of them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जान रखो कि तुम्हारे माल और तुम्हारी संतान परीक्षा-सामग्री हैं और यह कि अल्लाह के पास बड़ा प्रतिदान है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और यक़ीन जानों कि तुम्हारे माल और तुम्हारी औलाद तुम्हारी आज़माइश (इम्तेहान) की चीज़े हैं कि जो उनकी मोहब्बत में भी ख़ुदा को न भूले और वह दीनदार है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ ईमान वालो!) जान लो कि तुम्हारे धन और तुम्हारी संतान तुम्हारे लिए अल्लाह की ओर से आज़माइश और परीक्षण हैं। क्योंकि ये चीज़ें तुम्हें आख़िरत के लिए कार्य करने से रोक सकती हैं और तुम्हें ख़यानत पर आमादा कर सकती हैं। तथा जान लो कि अल्लाह के पास बहुत बड़ा सवाब है। अतः अपने धन और अपने बच्चों को ध्यान में रखकर और उनकी खातिर ख़यानत करके, यह सवाब अपने हाथ से न जाने दो। |
| Ayah 29 |
| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا إِن تَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَجعَل لَكُم فُرقانًا وَيُكَفِّر عَنكُم سَيِّئَاتِكُم وَيَغفِر لَكُم ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الفَضلِ العَظيمِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in tattaqoo Allaha yajAAal lakum furqanan wayukaffir AAankum sayyiatikum wayaghfir lakum waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo in tattaqul laaha yaj'al lakum furqaananw wa yukaffir 'ankum saiyi aatikum wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu zul fadlil 'azeem |
| English (Pickthall) | O ye who believe! If ye keep your duty to Allah, He will give you discrimination (between right and wrong) and will rid you of your evil thoughts and deeds, and will forgive you. Allah is of Infinite Bounty. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O you who have believed, if you fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion and will remove from you your misdeeds and forgive you. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O you who believe in Allah and His messengers, know that if you are Mindful, following what He instructs and staying away from what He has prohibited, He will give you the ability to discriminate between truth and falsehood, so you will not be confused as regards to them, and He will erase from you the evil you have committed, and forgive your sins. To Allah belongs immense bounty, and from His great bounty is His Paradise which He has prepared for those who are Mindful among His creation. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! यदि तुम अल्लाह का डर रखोगे तो वह तुम्हें एक विशिष्टता प्रदान करेगा और तुमसे तुम्हारी बुराइयाँ दूर करेगा और तुम्हे क्षमा करेगा। अल्लाह बड़ा अनुग्राहक है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और यक़ीनन ख़ुदा के हॉ बड़ी मज़दूरी है ऐ ईमानदारों अगर तुम ख़ुदा से डरते रहोगे तो वह तुम्हारे वास्ते इम्तियाज़ पैदा करे देगा और तुम्हारी तरफ से तुम्हारे गुनाह का कफ्फ़ारा क़रार देगा और तुम्हें बख्श देगा और ख़ुदा बड़ा साहब फज़ल (व करम) है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान रखने और उसके रसूल का अनुसरण करने वालो! जान लो कि अगर तुम अल्लाह से, उसके आदेशों का पालन करके और उसके निषेधों से बचकर, डरोगे, तो वह तुम्हें सत्य और असत्य के बीच अंतर करने की शक्ति प्रदान करेगा, जिससे तुम्हारे लिए दोनों गड्ड-मड्ड नहीं होंगे। तथा जो कुछ तुमने बुरे कार्य किए होंगे, वह उन्हें तुमसे मिटा देगा और तुम्हारे पापों को क्षमा कर देगा। और अल्लाह बहुत बड़े अनुग्रह वाला है। और उसका एक बड़ा अनुग्रह उसकी जन्नत है, जिसे उसने अपने डरने वाले बंदों के लिए तैयार की है। |
| Ayah 30 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذ يَمكُرُ بِكَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لِيُثبِتوكَ أَو يَقتُلوكَ أَو يُخرِجوكَ ۚ وَيَمكُرونَ وَيَمكُرُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيرُ الماكِرينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waith yamkuru bika allatheena kafaroo liyuthbitooka aw yaqtulooka aw yukhrijooka wayamkuroona wayamkuru Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa iz yamkuru bikal lazeena kafaroo liyusbitooka aw yaqtulooka aw yukhrijook; wa yamkuroona wa yamkurul laahu wallaahu khairul maakireen |
| English (Pickthall) | And when those who disbelieve plot against thee (O Muhammad) to wound thee fatally, or to kill thee or to drive thee forth; they plot, but Allah (also) plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you [from Makkah]. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember, O Messenger, when the idolaters joined forces against you, plotting to kill or imprison you, or to drive you out of your homeland to another place. They plotted, and Allah turned their plot upon themselves, and Allah plans, and He is the best of planners. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और याद करो जब इनकार करनेवाले तुम्हारे साथ चालें चल रहे थे कि तम्हें क़ैद रखें या तुम्हे क़त्ल कर दें या तुम्हे निकाल बाहर करे। वे अपनी चालें चल रहे थे और अल्लाह भी अपनी चाल चल रहा था। अल्लाह सबसे अच्छी चाल चलता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (ऐ रसूल वह वक्त याद करो) जब कुफ्फ़ार तुम से फरेब कर रहे थे ताकि तुमको क़ैद कर लें या तुमको मार डाले तुम्हें (घर से) निकाल बाहर करे वह तो ये तदबीर (चालाकी) कर रहे थे और ख़ुदा भी (उनके ख़िलाफ) तदबीरकर रहा था |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ रसूल) उस समय को याद करें, जब सब मुश्रिकों ने मिलकर आपको क़ैद करने, मार डालने या अपने नगर से किसी और नगर की ओर निकाल देने का षड्यंत्र किया। वे आपके विरुद्ध षड्यंत्र कर रहे थे और अल्लाह उनके षड्यंत्र को उन्हीं पर लौटा रहा था तथा उससे आपोक बचाने का उपाय कर रहा था और अल्लाह ही सबसे अत्तम उपाय करने वाला है। |
| Ayah 31 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذا تُتلىٰ عَلَيهِم آياتُنا قالوا قَد سَمِعنا لَو نَشاءُ لَقُلنا مِثلَ هٰذا ۙ إِن هٰذا إِلّا أَساطيرُ الأَوَّلينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waitha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna qaloo qad samiAAna law nashao laqulna mithla hatha in hatha illa asateeru alawwaleena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim Aayaatunaa qaaloo qad sami'naa law nashaaa'u laqulnaa misla haazaaa in haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen |
| English (Pickthall) | And when Our revelations are recited unto them they say: We have heard. If we wish we can speak the like of this. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | When Our Signs are rehearsed to them, they say: "We have heard this (before): if we wished, we could say (words) like these: these are nothing but tales of the ancients." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And when Our verses are recited to them, they say, "We have heard. If we willed, we could say [something] like this. This is not but legends of the former peoples." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If Allah’s words are recited to them, they say – stubborn against the truth, considering themselves above it, and disbelieving – that they have heard something similar before, and that if they wanted to say something similar to the Qur’ān they could, saying that the Qur’ān is just the fables of earlier peoples. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जब उनके सामने हमारी आयतें पढ़ी जाती है, तो वे कहते है, "हम सुन चुके। यदि हम चाहें तो ऐसी बातें हम भी बना लें; ये तो बस पहले के लोगों की कहानियाँ हैं।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और ख़ुदा तो सब तदबीरकरने वालों से बेहतर है और जब उनके सामने हमारी आयते पढ़ी जाती हैं तो बोल उठते हैं कि हमने सुना तो लेकिन अगर हम चाहें तो यक़ीनन ऐसा ही (क़रार) हम भी कह सकते हैं-तो बस अगलों के क़िस्से है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जब उनके सामने हमारी आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं, तो वे सत्य से वैर और अहंकार के कारण कहते हैं : हमने पहले भी ऐसा कुछ सुना है। अगर हम इस क़ुरआन जैसा कहना चाहें, तो निश्चय हम कह सकते हैं। यह क़ुरआन जो हमने सुना है, पहले लोगों की झूठी कहानियों के सिवा कुछ नहीं है। इसलिए हम इसपर हरगिज़ विश्वास नहीं करेंगे। |
| Ayah 32 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذ قالُوا اللَّهُمَّ إِن كانَ هٰذا هُوَ الحَقَّ مِن عِندِكَ فَأَمطِر عَلَينا حِجارَةً مِنَ السَّماءِ أَوِ ائتِنا بِعَذابٍ أَليمٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waith qaloo allahumma in kana hatha huwa alhaqqa min AAindika faamtir AAalayna hijaratan mina alssamai awi itina biAAathabin aleemin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa iz qaalul laahumma in kaana haazaa huwal haqqa min 'indika fa amtir 'alainaa hijaaratam minas samaaa'i awi'tinaa bi 'azaabin alaeem |
| English (Pickthall) | And when they said: O Allah! If this be indeed the truth from Thee, then rain down stones on us or bring on us some painful doom! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Remember how they said: "O Allah if this is indeed the Truth from Thee, rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And [remember] when they said, "O Allah, if this should be the truth from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring us a painful punishment." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember when the idolaters said to Allah that if what Muhammad brought was true, then He should rain rocks down from the sky to destroy them, or bring them a painful punishment. They said this going to extremes in their denial and rejection. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और याद करो जब उन्होंने कहा, "ऐ अल्लाह! यदि यही तेरे यहाँ से सत्य हो तो हमपर आकाश से पत्थर बरसा दे, या हम पर कोई दुखद यातना ही ले आ |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (ऐ रसूल वह वक्त याद करो) जब उन काफिरों ने दुआएँ माँगीं थी कि ख़ुदा (वन्द) अगर ये (दीन इस्लाम) हक़ है और तेरे पास से (आया है) तो हम पर आसमान से पत्थर बरसा या हम पर कोई और दर्दनाक अज़ाब ही नाज़िल फरमा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ रसूल!) उस समय को याद करें, जब बहुदेववादियों ने कहा : ऐ अल्लाह! यदि मुहम्मद का लाया हुआ धर्म सत्य है, तो हमपर आकाश से पत्थर गिरा दे जो हमें नष्ट कर दे, अथवा हमपर कोई गंभीर यातना ले आ। उन्होंने यह बात इनकार में अतिशयोक्ति के तौर पर कही थी। |
| Ayah 33 |
| عَرَبِي | وَما كانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم وَأَنتَ فيهِم ۚ وَما كانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُم وَهُم يَستَغفِرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wama kana Allahu liyuAAaththibahum waanta feehim wama kana Allahu muAAaththibahum wahum yastaghfiroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa maa kanal laahu liyu'az zibahum wa anta feehim; wa maa kaanal laahu mu'az zibahum wa hum yastaghfiroon |
| English (Pickthall) | But Allah would not punish them while thou wast with them, nor will He punish them while they seek forgiveness. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But Allah was not going to send them a penalty whilst thou wast amongst them; nor was He going to send it whilst they could ask for pardon. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | But Allah would not punish your nation O Muhammad, with a punishment that destroyed them while you are living among them, for you living among them keeps them safe from this punishment. And Allah would not punish them as long as they asked Him for forgiveness for their sins. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और अल्लाह ऐसा नहीं कि तुम उनके बीच उपस्थित हो और वह उन्हें यातना देने लग जाए, और न अल्लाह ऐसा है कि वे क्षमा-याचना कर रहे हो और वह उन्हें यातना से ग्रस्त कर दे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | हालॉकि जब तक तुम उनके दरमियान मौजूद हो ख़ुदा उन पर अज़ाब नहीं करेगा और अल्लाह ऐसा भी नही कि लोग तो उससे अपने गुनाहो की माफी माँग रहे हैं और ख़ुदा उन पर नाज़िल फरमाए |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और अल्लाह आपकी उम्मत को (चाहे वह उन लोगों में से हो जिन्होंने आपके निमंत्रण को स्वीकार किया या उन लोगों में से हो जो आपके निमंत्रण को स्वीकार करने के लिए बाध्य हैं), ऐसी यातना से ग्रस्त नहीं करेगा, जो उन्हें जड़ से मिटा दे, जबकि (ऐ मुहम्मद!) आप उनके बीच जीवित मौजूद हैं। क्योंकि उनके बीच आपकी उपस्थिति उनके लिए यातना से सुरक्षा है। तथा अल्लाह उन्हें यातना से ग्रस्त करने वाला नहीं है, जबकि वे अपने पापों के लिए अल्लाह से क्षमा मांगते हों। |
| Ayah 34 |
| عَرَبِي | وَما لَهُم أَلّا يُعَذِّبَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَهُم يَصُدّونَ عَنِ المَسجِدِ الحَرامِ وَما كانوا أَولِياءَهُ ۚ إِن أَولِياؤُهُ إِلَّا المُتَّقونَ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَهُم لا يَعلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wama lahum alla yuAAaththibahumu Allahu wahum yasuddoona AAani almasjidi alharami wama kanoo awliyaahu in awliyaohu illa almuttaqoona walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa maa lahum allaa yu'az zibahumul laahu wa hum yasuddoona 'anil Masjidil-Haraami wa maa kaanooo awliyaaa'ah; in awliyaaa' uhooo illal muttaqoona wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya'lamoon |
| English (Pickthall) | What (plea) have they that Allah should not punish them, when they debar (His servants) from the Inviolable Place of Worship, though they are not its fitting guardians. Its fitting guardians are those only who keep their duty to Allah. But most of them know not. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But what plea have they that Allah should not punish them, when they keep out (men) from the sacred Mosque - and they are not its guardians? No men can be its guardians except the righteous; but most of them do not understand. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But why should Allah not punish them while they obstruct [people] from al-Masjid al- Haram and they were not [fit to be] its guardians? Its [true] guardians are not but the righteous, but most of them do not know. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | What prevents them being punished when they have unjustly stopped people from performing both the circling (ţawāf) and the prayer in the Sacred Mosque – actions deserving of punishment? The idolaters are not Allah’s allies. The allies of Allah are only those who are mindful of Him by fulfilling His instructions and avoiding His prohibitions. Most of the idolaters do not know this, as they claim they are Allah’s allies when they are not. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | किन्तु अब क्या है उनके पास कि अल्लाह उन्हें यातना न दे, जबकि वे 'मस्जिदे हराम' (काबा) से रोकते है, हालाँकि वे उसके कोई व्यवस्थापक नहीं? उसके व्यवस्थापक तो केवल डर रखनेवाले ही है, परन्तु उनके अधिकतर लोग जानते नहीं |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जब ये लोग लोगों को मस्जिदुल हराम (ख़ान ए काबा की इबादत) से रोकते है तो फिर उनके लिए कौन सी बात बाक़ी है कि उन पर अज़ाब न नाज़िल करे और ये लोग तो ख़ानाए काबा के मुतवल्ली भी नहीं (फिर क्यों रोकते है) इसके मुतवल्ली तो सिर्फ परहेज़गार लोग हैं मगर इन काफ़िरों में से बहुतेरे नहीं जानते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | भला उनको यातना क्यों न दी जाए, जबकि उन्होंने लोगों को 'मस्जिदे ह़राम' (काबा) का तवाफ़ करने या उसमें नमाज़ अदा करने से रोककर ऐसा कार्य किया है जो उन्हें यातना का पात्र बनाता है? तथा ये मुश्रिक अल्लाह के दोस्त नहीं हैं, अल्लाह के दोस्त तो केवल उसके डरने वाले बंदे हैं, जो उसकी आज्ञाओं का पालन करके और उसके निषेधों से बचकर उससे डरते हैं। परंतु अधिकतर मुश्रिक इस बात को नहीं जानते, यही कारण है कि वे कहते हैं कि वे अल्लाह के दोस्त हैं, जबकि वे अल्लाह के दोस्त नहीं हैं। |
| Ayah 35 |
| عَرَبِي | وَما كانَ صَلاتُهُم عِندَ البَيتِ إِلّا مُكاءً وَتَصدِيَةً ۚ فَذوقُوا العَذابَ بِما كُنتُم تَكفُرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wama kana salatuhum AAinda albayti illa mukaan watasdiyatan fathooqoo alAAathaba bima kuntum takfuroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa maa kaana Salaatuhum 'indal Baiti illa mukaaa anw-wa tasdiyah; fazooqul 'azaaba bimaa kuntum takfuroon |
| English (Pickthall) | And their worship at the (holy) House is naught but whistling and hand-clapping. Therefore (it is said unto them): Taste of the doom because ye disbelieve. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Their prayer at the House (of Allah) is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And their prayer at the House was not except whistling and handclapping. So taste the punishment for what you disbelieved. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The prayer of the idolaters at the Sacred Mosque was nothing but whistling and clapping. So taste, O idolaters, the punishment of being killed or taken prisoner on the day of Badr because of your disbelief in Allah and rejection of His Messenger. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उनकी नमाज़़ इस घर (काबा) के पास सीटियाँ बजाने और तालियाँ पीटने के अलावा कुछ भी नहीं होती। तो अब यातना का मज़ा चखो, उस इनकार के बदले में जो तुम करते रहे हो |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और ख़ानाए काबे के पास सीटियॉ तालिया बजाने के सिवा उनकी नमाज ही क्या थी तो (ऐ काफिरों) जब तुम कुफ्र किया करते थे उसकी सज़ा में (पड़े) अज़ाब के मज़े चखो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | मस्जिदे ह़राम के पास मुश्रिकों की नमाज़ सीटी बजाने और ताली बजाने के अलावा और कुछ नहीं थी। अतः (ऐ मुश्रिको!) अल्लाह का इनकार करने और उसके रसूल को झुठलाने के कारण बद्र के दिन क़त्ल और क़ैद की यातना चखो। |
| Ayah 36 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا يُنفِقونَ أَموالَهُم لِيَصُدّوا عَن سَبيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَسَيُنفِقونَها ثُمَّ تَكونُ عَلَيهِم حَسرَةً ثُمَّ يُغلَبونَ ۗ وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا إِلىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحشَرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna allatheena kafaroo yunfiqoona amwalahum liyasuddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi fasayunfiqoonaha thumma takoonu AAalayhim hasratan thumma yughlaboona waallatheena kafaroo ila jahannama yuhsharoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innal lazeena kafaroo yunfiqoona amwaalahum liyasuddoo 'an sabeelil laah; fasayunfiqoonahaa summa takoonu 'alaihim hasratan summa yughlaboon; wal lazeena kafarooo ilaa Jahannnama yuhsharoona |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! those who disbelieve spend their wealth in order that they may debar (men) from the way of Allah. They will spend it, then it will become an anguish for them, then they will be conquered. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto hell, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allah. So they will spend it; then it will be for them a [source of] regret; then they will be overcome. And those who have disbelieved - unto Hell they will be gathered. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Disbelievers in Allah spend their wealth to prevent people from Allah’s religion, but they will not achieve their goal. The end result of their spending of wealth in this way will be sadness, because they will lose their wealth and fail in their goal; and then they will be defeated by the believers. Disbelievers in Allah will be driven to Hell on the Day of Judgement and will enter it to live there eternally. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | निश्चय ही इनकार करनेवाले अपने माल अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकने के लिए ख़र्च करते रहेंगे, फिर यही उनके लिए पश्चाताप बनेगा। फिर वे पराभूत होंगे और इनकार करनेवाले जहन्नम की ओर समेट लाए जाएँगे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | इसमें शक़ नहीं कि ये कुफ्फार अपने माल महज़ इस वास्ते खर्च करेगें फिर उसके बाद उनकी हसरत का बाइस होगा फिर आख़िर ये लोग हार जाएँगें और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र एख्तियार किया (क़यामत में) सब के सब जहन्नुम की तरफ हाके जाएँगें |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निश्चय जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह के साथ कुफ़्र किया, वे अपना धन लोगों को अल्लाह के धर्म से रोकने के लिए ख़र्च करते हैं। चुनाँचे वे इसी तरह खर्च करते रहेंगे और उनकी मनोकामना कभी पूरी नहीं होगी। फिर उनके धन खर्च करने का परिणाम पछतावा होगा; क्योंकि धन भी चला गया और उसके खर्च करने का उद्देश्य भी प्राप्त नहीं हुआ। फिर वे ईमान वालों के उनपर विजय से पराजित हो जाएँगे। और जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह के साथ कुफ़्र किया, वे क़ियामत के दिन जहन्नम की ओर हाँककर ले जाए जाएँगे। फिर वे उसमें प्रवेश करेंगे और हमेशा के लिए उसी में रहेंगे। |
| Ayah 37 |
| عَرَبِي | لِيَميزَ اللَّهُ الخَبيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَيَجعَلَ الخَبيثَ بَعضَهُ عَلىٰ بَعضٍ فَيَركُمَهُ جَميعًا فَيَجعَلَهُ في جَهَنَّمَ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الخاسِرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Liyameeza Allahu alkhabeetha mina alttayyibi wayajAAala alkhabeetha baAAdahu AAala baAAdin fayarkumahu jameeAAan fayajAAalahu fee jahannama olaika humu alkhasiroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Liyameezal laahul khabeesa minat taiyibi wa yaj'alal khabeesa ba'dahoo 'ala ba'din fayarkumahoo jamee'an fayaj'alahoo fee Jahannnam; ulaaa'ika humul khaasiroon |
| English (Pickthall) | That Allah may separate the wicked from the good, The wicked will He place piece upon piece, and heap them all together, and consign them unto hell. Such verily are the losers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | In order that Allah may separate the impure from the pure, put the impure, one on another, heap them together, and cast them into Hell. They will be the ones to have lost. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [This is] so that Allah may distinguish the wicked from the good and place the wicked some of them upon others and heap them all together and put them into Hell. It is those who are the losers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Disbelievers who spend their wealth to prevent people from the path of Allah will be driven to the fire of Hell, so that Allah may isolate the wicked group of disbelievers from the pure group of believers, and so that He may place bad people, actions and wealth on top of one another in a pile and place them in the fire of Hell. They are the losers, because they will lose their souls and their families on the Day of Judgement. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ताकि अल्लाह नापाक को पाक से छाँटकर अलग करे और नापाकों को आपस में एक-दूसरे पर रखकर ढेर बनाए, फिर उसे जहन्नम में डाल दे। यही लोग घाटे में पड़नेवाले है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ताकि ख़ुदा पाक को नापाक से जुदा कर दे और नापाक लोगों को एक दूसरे पर रखके ढेर बनाए फिर सब को जहन्नुम में झोंक दे यही लोग घाटा उठाने वाले हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | इन काफ़िरों को, जो अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकने के लिए अपना धन खर्च करते हैं, जहन्नम की आग की ओर ले जाया जाएगा, ताकि अल्लाह काफ़िरों के अपवित्र (दुष्ट) समूह को मोमिनों के पवित्र (अच्छे) समूह से अलग कर दे, तथा अपवित्र व्यक्तियों, कार्यों और धनों को एक-दूसरे पर रखकर ढेर बना दे। फिर उसे जहन्नम में डाल दे। यही लोग घाटा उठाने वाले हैं; क्योंकि उन्होंने क़ियामत के दिन अपना और अपने घर वालों का नुक़सान किया। |
| Ayah 38 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل لِلَّذينَ كَفَروا إِن يَنتَهوا يُغفَر لَهُم ما قَد سَلَفَ وَإِن يَعودوا فَقَد مَضَت سُنَّتُ الأَوَّلينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul lillatheena kafaroo in yantahoo yughfar lahum ma qad salafa wain yaAAoodoo faqad madat sunnatu alawwaleena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul lillazeena kafarooo iny yantahoo yughfar lahum maa qad salafa wa iny ya'oodoo faqad madat sunnatul awwaleen |
| English (Pickthall) | Tell those who disbelieve that if they cease (from persecution of believers) that which is past will be forgiven them; but if they return (thereto) then the example of the men of old hath already gone (before them, for a warning). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say to those who have disbelieved [that] if they cease, what has previously occurred will be forgiven for them. But if they return [to hostility] - then the precedent of the former [rebellious] peoples has already taken place. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Say, O Messenger, to those of your people who disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger that if they stop disbelieving in Allah and His Messenger and preventing the believers from Allah’s path, then Allah will forgive their past sins, because Islam wipes out what is before it; but if they return to their disbelief, then Allah’s way of dealing with earlier people has already come as a warning: when they rejected and continued in their disbelief, He swiftly punished them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उन इनकार करनेवालो से कह दो कि वे यदि बाज़ आ जाएँ तो जो कुछ हो चुका, उसे क्षमा कर दिया जाएगा, किन्तु यदि वे फिर भी वहीं करेंगे तो पूर्ववर्ती लोगों के सिलसिले में जो रीति अपनाई गई वह सामने से गुज़र चुकी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल) तुम काफिरों से कह दो कि अगर वह लोग (अब भी अपनी शरारत से) बाज़ रहें तो उनके पिछले कुसूर माफ कर दिए जाएं और अगर फिर कहीं पलटें तो यक़ीनन अगलों के तरीक़े गुज़र चुके जो, उनकी सज़ा हुई वही इनकी भी होगी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) आप अपनी जाति के उन लोगों से कह दें, जिन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के साथ कुफ़्र किया : यदि वे अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के साथ कुफ़्र करने से, तथा ईमान लाने वालों को अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकने से बाज़ आ जाएँ; तो अल्लाह उनके पिछले गुनाहों को माफ़ कर देगा। क्योंकि इस्लाम अपने से पहले जो कुछ हुआ, उसे मिटा देता है। और अगर वे अपने कुफ़्र की ओर लौट गए, तो पहले लोगों के बारे में अल्लाह की रीति गुज़र चुकी है। वह यह है कि जब उन्होंने झुठलाया और अपने कुफ़्र पर अड़े रहे, तो अल्लाह ने उन्हें अविलंब सज़ा दे दी। |
| Ayah 39 |
| عَرَبِي | وَقاتِلوهُم حَتّىٰ لا تَكونَ فِتنَةٌ وَيَكونَ الدّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّهِ ۚ فَإِنِ انتَهَوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِما يَعمَلونَ بَصيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waqatiloohum hatta la takoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu kulluhu lillahi faini intahaw fainna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona baseerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa qaatiloohum hattaa laa takoona fitnatunw wa yakoonaddeenu kulluhoo lillaah; fainin tahaw fa innallaaha bimaa ya'maloona Baseer |
| English (Pickthall) | And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah. And if they cease - then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O believers, fight your disbelieving enemies until there is no more idolatry or Muslims being stopped from Allah’s religion, when religion and obedience is for Allah alone without any partner being put alongside Him. If the disbelievers stop their idolatry and preventing Muslims from Allah’s religion, then leave them, because Allah sees what they do and nothing is hidden from Him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उनसे युद्ध करो, यहाँ तक कि फ़ितना बाक़ी न रहे और दीन (धर्म) पूरा का पूरा अल्लाह ही के लिए हो जाए। फिर यदि वे बाज़ आ जाएँ तो अल्लाह उनके कर्म को देख रहा है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | मुसलमानों काफ़िरों से लड़े जाओ यहाँ तक कि कोई फसाद (बाक़ी) न रहे और (बिल्कुल सारी ख़ुदाई में) ख़ुदा की दीन ही दीन हो जाए फिर अगर ये लोग (फ़साद से) न बाज़ आएं तो ख़ुदा उनकी कारवाइयों को ख़ूब देखता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ मोमिनो!) अपने काफिर दुश्मनों से युद्ध करो, यहाँ तक कि न शिर्क रहे और न ही मुसलमानों को अल्लाह के धर्म से रोकना, तथा धर्म और आज्ञाकारिता एकमात्र अल्लाह के लिए रह जाए, जिसमें उसका कोई साझी न हो। फिर यदि काफ़िर अपने शिर्क और अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकने से बाज़ आ जाएँ, तो उन्हें छोड़ दो। क्योंकि अल्लाह उनके कर्मों को जानता है, उससे कोई बात छिपी नहीं है। |
| Ayah 40 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِن تَوَلَّوا فَاعلَموا أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَولاكُم ۚ نِعمَ المَولىٰ وَنِعمَ النَّصيرُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wain tawallaw faiAAlamoo anna Allaha mawlakum niAAma almawla waniAAma alnnaseeru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa in tawallaw fa'lamooo annal laaha mawlaakum; ni'mal mawlaa wa ni'man naseer |
| English (Pickthall) | And if they turn away, then know that Allah is your Befriender - a Transcendent Patron, a Transcendent Helper! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | If they refuse, be sure that Allah is your Protector - the best to protect and the best to help. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But if they turn away - then know that Allah is your protector. Excellent is the protector, and Excellent is the helper. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If they turn away from the order to leave disbelief and preventing others from Allah’s religion, then be certain, O believers, that Allah will help you against them. What an excellent protector He is for the one He protects, and what an excellent helper He is for the one He helps! Whoever He protects will be successful and whoever He helps will be victorious. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | किन्तु यदि वे मुँह मोड़े तो जान रखो कि अल्लाह संरक्षक है। क्या ही अच्छा संरक्षक है वह, और क्या ही अच्छा सहायक! |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और अगर सरताबी करें तो (मुसलमानों) समझ लो कि ख़ुदा यक़ीनी तुम्हारा मालिक है और वह क्या अच्छा मालिक है और क्या अच्छा मददगार है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और अगर वे, कुफ़्र और अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकने से बाज़ आने का जो उन्हें आदेश दिया गया है, उससे मुँह फेरें, तो (ऐ मोमिनो!) निश्चित हो जाओ कि अल्लाह उनके विरुद्ध तुम्हारा मददगार है। वह उसके लिए बहुत अच्छा संरक्षक है, जिसका वह संरक्षक हो, तथा वह उसके लिए बहुत अच्छा सहायक है, जिसका वह सहायक हो। अतः वह जिसका संरक्षक हो गया, वह सफल हुआ और वह जिसका मददगार हो गया, वह विजयी हुआ। |
| Ayah 41 |
| عَرَبِي | ۞ وَاعلَموا أَنَّما غَنِمتُم مِن شَيءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسولِ وَلِذِي القُربىٰ وَاليَتامىٰ وَالمَساكينِ وَابنِ السَّبيلِ إِن كُنتُم آمَنتُم بِاللَّهِ وَما أَنزَلنا عَلىٰ عَبدِنا يَومَ الفُرقانِ يَومَ التَقَى الجَمعانِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | WaiAAlamoo annama ghanimtum min shayin faanna lillahi khumusahu walilrrasooli walithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeni waibni alssabeeli in kuntum amantum biAllahi wama anzalna AAala AAabdina yawma alfurqani yawma iltaqa aljamAAani waAllahu AAala kulli shayin qadeerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa'lamooo annamaa ghanimtum min sha'in fa anna lillaahi khumusahoo wa lir Rasooli wa lizil qurba walyataamaa walmasaakeeni wabnis sabeeli in kuntum aamantum billaahi wa maaa anzalnaa 'ala 'abdinaa yawmal Furqaani yawmaltaqal jam'aan; wal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer |
| English (Pickthall) | And know that whatever ye take as spoils of war, lo! a fifth thereof is for Allah, and for the messenger and for the kinsman (who hath need) and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, if ye believe in Allah and that which We revealed unto Our slave on the Day of Discrimination, the day when the two armies met. And Allah is Able to do all things. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah,- and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer,- if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing,- the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And know that anything you obtain of war booty - then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion - the day when the two armies met. And Allah, over all things, is competent. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Know, O believers, that whatever you take by force from the disbelievers when striving in Allah’s path shall be divided into five. Four-fifths shall be distributed to those who strove in Allah’s path and the remaining fifth shall be further divided into five portions and distributed equally between the following: Allah and His Messenger, to be spent on the general expenses of the Muslims; the relatives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) from the Children of Hāshim and the Children of Al-Muţţalib; orphans; the poor and destitute; and travellers who are stranded. Obey this if you have faith in Allah and what He revealed to His servant, Muhammad (peace be upon him), on the day of the Battle of Badr, when Allah made a clear distinction between truth and falsehood by giving you victory over your enemies. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और तुम्हें मालूम हो कि जो कुछ ग़नीमत के रूप में माल तुमने प्राप्त किया है, उसका पाँचवा भाग अल्लाग का, रसूल का, नातेदारों का, अनाथों का, मुहताजों और मुसाफ़िरों का है। यदि तुम अल्लाह पर और उस चीज़ पर ईमान रखते हो, जो हमने अपने बन्दे पर फ़ैसले के दिन उतारी, जिस दिन दोनों सेनाओं में मुठभेड़ हूई, और अल्लाह को हर चीज़ की पूर्ण सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जान लो कि जो कुछ तुम (माल लड़कर) लूटो तो उनमें का पॉचवॉ हिस्सा मख़सूस ख़ुदा और रसूल और (रसूल के) क़राबतदारों और यतीमों और मिस्कीनों और परदेसियों का है अगर तुम ख़ुदा पर और उस (ग़ैबी इमदाद) पर ईमान ला चुके हो जो हमने ख़ास बन्दे (मोहम्मद) पर फ़ैसले के दिन (जंग बदर में) नाज़िल की थी जिस दिन (मुसलमानों और काफिरों की) दो जमाअतें बाहम गुथ गयी थी और ख़ुदा तो हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ ईमान वालो!) जान लो कि तुमने अल्लाह के मार्ग में काफ़िरों से जिहाद करते हुए जो ग़नीमत का धन हासिल किया है, उसे पाँच भागों में विभाजित किया जाएगा। उनमें से चार भाग मुजाहिदों में बाँट दिए जाएँगे, जबकि शेष पाँचवें भाग को फिर पाँच हिस्सों में विभाजित किया जाएगा : उसका एक हिस्सा अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का होगा, जिसे मुसलमानों के सार्वजनिक हितों में खर्च किया जाएगा, तथा एक हिस्सा नबी सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम के निकट-संबंधियों अर्थात् बनू हाशिम एवं बनू मुत्तलिब के लिए, एक हिस्सा अनाथों के लिए, एक हिस्सा गरीबों एवं मिसकीनों के लिए, तथा एक हिस्सा ऐसे यात्रियों के लिए है, जो रास्ते में फँसे हुए हों। यदि तुम अल्लाह पर तथा उस चीज़ पर ईमान रखते हो, जो हमने अपने बंदे मुहम्मद सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम पर बद्र के दिन उतारी, जिसके द्वारा अल्लाह ने सत्य और झूठ के बीच अंतर कर दिया जब उसने तुम्हें तुम्हारे दुश्मनों पर जीत दिलाई। और अल्लाह, जिसने तुम्हारी मदद की, हर चीज़ का सामर्थ्य रखता है। |
| Ayah 42 |
| عَرَبِي | إِذ أَنتُم بِالعُدوَةِ الدُّنيا وَهُم بِالعُدوَةِ القُصوىٰ وَالرَّكبُ أَسفَلَ مِنكُم ۚ وَلَو تَواعَدتُم لَاختَلَفتُم فِي الميعادِ ۙ وَلٰكِن لِيَقضِيَ اللَّهُ أَمرًا كانَ مَفعولًا لِيَهلِكَ مَن هَلَكَ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَيَحيىٰ مَن حَيَّ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَسَميعٌ عَليمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ith antum bialAAudwati alddunya wahum bialAAudwati alquswa waalrrakbu asfala minkum walaw tawaAAadtum laikhtalaftum fee almeeAAadi walakin liyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan liyahlika man halaka AAan bayyinatin wayahya man hayya AAan bayyinatin wainna Allaha lasameeAAun AAaleemun |

| English (Pickthall) | When ye were on the near bank (of the valley) and they were on the yonder bank, and the caravan was below you (on the coast plain). And had ye trysted to meet one another ye surely would have failed to keep the tryst, but (it happened, as it did, without the forethought of either of you) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done; that he who perished (on that day) might perish by a clear proof (of His Sovereignty) and he who survived might survive by a clear proof (of His Sovereignty). Lo! Allah in truth is Hearer, Knower. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Remember] when you were on the near side of the valley, and they were on the farther side, and the caravan was lower [in position] than you. If you had made an appointment [to meet], you would have missed the appointment. But [it was] so that Allah might accomplish a matter already destined - that those who perished [through disbelief] would perish upon evidence and those who lived [in faith] would live upon evidence; and indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember, O believers, when you were on the near side of the valley that was facing Medina, the idolaters were on the far side that was facing Makkah and the caravan was at a spot lower than you facing the Red Sea. If you and the idolaters made an appointment with each other to meet at Badr, neither of you would have kept to it: your lack of numbers as compared to your enemy would have kept you back, and the fear of facing Allah’s Messenger would have kept them back. But Allah, may He be glorified, gathered you at Badr without an appointment, so that He may carry out a matter that was already determined: the victory of the believers and the defeat of the disbelievers – bringing honour to His religion and humiliation to idolatry. This was so that those who died from amongst them would die after evidence was established by the believers’ victory against them, despite their lack of numbers and preparation, and so that those who lived would live with clear evidences that Allah made obvious to them, and no one would have any evidence against Allah that they could use as an argument. Allah hears the statements of everyone and knows their actions. Nothing is hidden from Him and He will repay them for that. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | याद करो जब तुम घाटी के निकटवर्ती छोर पर थे और वे घाटी के दूरस्थ छोर पर थे और क़ाफ़िला तुमसे नीचे की ओर था। यदि तुम परस्पर समय निश्चित किए होते तो अनिवार्यतः तुम निश्चित समय पर न पहुँचते। किन्तु जो कुछ हुआ वह इसलिए कि अल्लाह उस बात का फ़ैसला कर दे, जिसका पूरा होना निश्चित था, ताकि जिसे विनष्ट होना हो, वह स्पष्ट प्रमाण देखकर ही विनष्ट हो और जिसे जीवित रहना हो वह स्पष्ट़ प्रमाण देखकर जीवित रहे। निस्संदेह अल्लाह भली-भाँति जानता, सुनता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ये वह वक्त था) जब तुम (मैदाने जंग में मदीने के) क़रीब नाके पर थे और वह कुफ्फ़ार बईद (दूर के) के नाके पर और (काफ़िले के) सवार तुम से नशेब में थे और अगर तुम एक दूसरे से (वक्त क़ी तक़रीर का) वायदा कर लेते हो तो और वक्त पर गड़बड़ कर देते मगर (ख़ुदा ने अचानक तुम लोगों को इकट्ठा कर दिया ताकि जो बात यदनी (होनी) थी वह पूरी कर दिखाए ताकि जो शख़्स हलाक (गुमराह) हो वह (हक़ की) हुज्जत तमाम होने के बाद हलाक हो और जो ज़िन्दा रहे वह हिदायत की हुज्जत तमाम होने के बाद ज़िन्दा रहे और ख़ुदा यक़ीनी सुनने वाला ख़बरदार है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा उस समय को याद करो, जब तुम घाटी के उस किनारे पर थे जो मदीना से सबसे निकट है, तथा बहुदेववादी उसी घाटी के दूर वाले किनारे पर थे, जो मक्का से करीब है, और क़ाफ़िला तुमसे नीचे क्षेत्र में लाल सागर के तट के निकट था। यदि तुमने और बहुदेववादियों ने बद्र में मिलने का वादा किया होता, तो तुम निर्धारित समय (पर पहुँचने) के बारे में एक-दूसरे से असहमत होते। परंतु अल्लाह ने तुम्हें बिना पूर्वनिर्धारित अवधि के बद्र में एकत्र कर दिया। ताकि अल्लाह वह काम पूरा कर दे, जो किया जाने वाला था, अर्थात् ईमान वालों की जीत और काफ़िरों की विफलता, अपने धर्म (इस्लाम) का सम्मान और बहुदेववाद का अपमान; ताकि उनमें से जो मरे, वह ईमान वालों की संख्याबल और उपकरणों की कमी के बावजूद काफ़िरों पर जीत के द्वारा उसपर तर्क स्थापित होने के बाद मरे, तथा जो जीवित रहे, वह उस सबूत और तर्क को देखकर जीवित रहे, जो अल्लाह ने उसके लिए प्रकट किया है। ताकि किसी के लिए अल्लाह के विरुद्ध कोई तर्क बाक़ी न रहे, जिसे वह प्रस्तुत कर सके। निःसंदेह अल्लाह सभी की बातों को सुनने वाला, उनके कार्यों को जानने वाला है। उससे कुछ भी छिपा नहीं है और वह उन्हें उनका बदला देगा। |
| Ayah 43 |
| عَرَبِي | إِذ يُريكَهُمُ اللَّهُ في مَنامِكَ قَليلًا ۖ وَلَو أَراكَهُم كَثيرًا لَفَشِلتُم وَلَتَنازَعتُم فِي الأَمرِ وَلٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ سَلَّمَ ۗ إِنَّهُ عَليمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدورِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ith yureekahumu Allahu fee manamika qaleelan walaw arakahum katheeran lafashiltum walatanazaAAtum fee alamri walakinna Allaha sallama innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Iz yureekahumul laahu fee manaamika qaleela; wa law araakahum kaseeral lafashiltum wa latanaaza'tum fil amri wa laakinnal laaha sallam; innahoo 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor |
| English (Pickthall) | When Allah showed them unto thee (O Muhammad) in thy dream as few in number, and if He had shown them to thee as many, ye (Muslims) would have faltered and would have quarrelled over the affair. But Allah saved (you). Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Remember in thy dream Allah showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but Allah saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Remember, O Muhammad], when Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many, you [believers] would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter [of whether to fight], but Allah saved [you from that]. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember, O Messenger, Allah’s favour upon you, and upon the believers, when He showed you a dream in which the idolaters were few in number. You informed the believers about this and they took it as a good sign, and their determination to face the enemy in battle was strengthened. If Allah had shown the idolaters to you to be many, the determination of your Companions would have become weak and they would have become afraid of fighting. But Allah saved you all from that and protected them from losing courage. He therefore made them seem few in number in the eye of His Messenger (peace be upon him). He knows what the hearts contain and what the souls hide. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और याद करो जब अल्लाह उनको तुम्हारे स्वप्न में थोड़ा करके तुम्हें दिखा रहा था और यदि वह उन्हें ज़्यादा करके तुम्हें दिखा देता तो अवश्य ही तुम हिम्मत हार बैठते और असल मामले में झगड़ने लग जाते, किन्तु अल्लाह ने इससे बचा लिया। निश्चय ही वह तो जो कुछ दिलों में होता है उसे भी जानता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ये वह वक्त था) जब ख़ुदा ने तुम्हें ख्वाब में कुफ्फ़ार को कम करके दिखलाया था और अगर उनको तुम्हें ज्यादा करते दिखलाता तुम यक़ीनन हिम्मत हार देते और लड़ाई के बारे में झगड़ने लगते मगर ख़ुदा ने इसे (बदनामी) से बचाया इसमें तो शक़ ही नहीं कि वह दिली ख्यालात से वाक़िफ़ है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा (ऐ रसूल!) आप, अपने और मोमिनों के ऊपर अल्लाह की नेमत को याद करें, जब अल्लाह ने आपको सपने में मुश्रिकों की संख्या कम करके दिखाई, और आपने ईमान वालों को इसके बारे में बताया, तो वे इस शुभ समाचार से आनंदित हुए और अपने दुश्मन से मिलने और उससे लड़ने का उनका संकल्प और भी मज़बूत हो गया। यदि अल्लाह आपको मुश्रिकों की संख्या अधिक दिखाता, तो अवश्य ही आपके साथियों के संकल्प कमज़ोर पड़ जाते और वे लड़ने से भय खाने लगते। परंतु अल्लाह ने इससे सुरक्षित रखा और उन्हें असफलता से बचाया। इसलिए उन्हें अपने रसूल सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम की नज़र में कम कर दिया। निःसंदेह वह सीनों की बातों से भली-भाँति अवगत, तथा दिलों के भेदों को जानने वाला है। |
| Ayah 44 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذ يُريكُموهُم إِذِ التَقَيتُم في أَعيُنِكُم قَليلًا وَيُقَلِّلُكُم في أَعيُنِهِم لِيَقضِيَ اللَّهُ أَمرًا كانَ مَفعولًا ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرجَعُ الأُمورُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waith yureekumoohum ithi iltaqaytum fee aAAyunikum qaleelan wayuqallilukum fee aAAyunihim liyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan waila Allahi turjaAAu alomooru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa iz yureekumoohum izil taqaitum feee a'yunikum qaleelanw wa yuqallilukum feee a'yunihim liyaqdiyal laahu amran kaana maf'oolaa; wa ilal laahi turja'ul umoor |
| English (Pickthall) | And when He made you (Muslims), when ye met (them), see them with your eyes as few, and lessened you in their eyes, (it was) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done. Unto Allah all things are brought back. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And remember when ye met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes, and He made you appear as contemptible in their eyes: that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted. For to Allah do all questions go back (for decision). |

| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember, O believers, when Allah showed the idolaters to you, when you met them, as few and made you bravely go forward towards fighting them; and He made you seem few in their eyes, so that they came forward to fight you, without thinking of leaving. This was so that Allah could bring about a matter that was predetermined by taking retribution from the idolaters by them being killed or taken prisoners, and by favouring the believers with victory and defeat of their enemies. All matters are returned to Allah alone and He will repay the one who does evil for his wrongdoing and the one who does good for his good deeds. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | याद करो जब तुम्हारी परस्पर मुठभेड़ हुई तो वह तुम्हारी निगाहों में उन्हें कम करके और तुम्हें उनकी निगाहों में कम करके दिखा रहा था, ताकि अल्लाह उस बात का फ़ैसला कर दे जिसका होना निश्चित था। और सारे मामले अल्लाह ही की ओर पलटते है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ये वह वक्त था) जब तुम लोगों ने मुठभेड़ की तो ख़ुदा ने तुम्हारी ऑखों में कुफ्फ़ार को बहुत कम करके दिखलाया और उनकी ऑखों में तुमको थोड़ा कर दिया ताकि ख़ुदा को जो कुछ करना मंज़ूर था वह पूरा हो जाए और कुल बातों का दारोमदार तो ख़ुदा ही पर है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा (ऐ ईमान वालो!) उस समय को याद करो, जब अल्लाह बहुदेववादियों को लड़ाई के समय तुम्हारी आँखों में थोड़ा करके दिखा रहा था। इस तरह उसने तुम्हें उनसे लड़ने का साहस दिया। तथा उनकी आँखों में तुम्हें थोड़ा करके दिखा रहा था, इसलिए वे भी तुमसे लड़ाई के लिए आगे बढ़े और वापस जाने के बारे में नहीं सोचा। ताकि अल्लाह उस काम को पूरा कर दे, जो होकर रहना था, यानी बहुदेववादियों से (उन्हें) मारकर और बंदी बनाकर बदला लेना और ईमान वालों को दुश्मनों पर जीत एवं सफलता द्वारा पुरस्कृत करना। तथा सभी मामले अल्लाह ही की ओर लौटाए जाते हैं, फिर वह कुकर्म करने वाले को उसके कुकर्म का, और सुकर्म करने वाले को उसके सुकर्म का बदला देता है। |
| Ayah 45 |
| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا إِذا لَقيتُم فِئَةً فَاثبُتوا وَاذكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثيرًا لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha laqeetum fiatan faothbutoo waothkuroo Allaha katheeran laAAallakum tuflihoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo izaa laqeetum fi'atan fasbutoo wazkurul laaha kaseeral la'allakum tuflihoon |
| English (Pickthall) | O ye who believe! When ye meet an army, hold firm and think of Allah much, that ye may be successful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much (and often); that ye may prosper: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O you who have believed, when you encounter a company [from the enemy forces], stand firm and remember Allah much that you may be successful. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O you who have faith in Allah and follow His Messenger, when you fight against a group of disbelievers be patient when you meet them and do not become cowardly. Remember Allah much and call on Him, because He is the One Who can help you against them; and pray to Him to grant you what you desire and protect you from what you fear. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! जब तुम्हारा किसी गिरोह से मुक़ाबला हो जाए तो जमे रहो और अल्लाह को ज़्यादा याद करो, ताकि तुम्हें सफलता प्राप्त हो |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ ईमानदारों जब तुम किसी फौज से मुठभेड़ करो तो ख़बरदार अपने क़दम जमाए रहो और ख़ुदा को बहुंत याद करते रहो ताकि तुम फलाह पाओ |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान लाने वालो एवं उसके रसूल का अनुसरण करने वालो! जब तुम काफ़िरों के किसी समूह का सामना करो, तो उनसे मिलते समय दृढ़ रहो और कायरता न दिखाओ। तथा अल्लाह को बहुत याद करो और उससे प्रार्थना करो। क्योंकि वही तुम्हें उनपर विजय दिलाने में समर्थ है; आशा है कि वह तुम्हें वह चीज़ प्रदान करे जो तुम माँगते हो और तुम्हें उस चीज़ से बचाए, जिसका तुम्हें डर है। |
| Ayah 46 |
| عَرَبِي | وَأَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ وَلا تَنازَعوا فَتَفشَلوا وَتَذهَبَ ريحُكُم ۖ وَاصبِروا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصّابِرينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | WaateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu wala tanazaAAoo fatafshaloo watathhaba reehukum waisbiroo inna Allaha maAAa alssabireena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa atee'ul laaha wa Rasoolahoo wa laa tanaaza'oo fatafshaloo wa tazhaba reehukum wasbiroo; innal laaha ma'as saabireen |
| English (Pickthall) | And obey Allah and His messenger, and dispute not one with another lest ye falter and your strength depart from you; but be steadfast! Lo! Allah is with the steadfast. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And obey Allah and His Messenger; and fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Observe Allah’s obedience and the obedience of His Prophet in all of your statements, actions and circumstances. Do not argue with one another because dispute leads to weakness, cowardliness and the diminishing of your strength. Be patient when facing the enemy because Allah supports and assists the patient. Whoever Allah is with will definitely be victorious. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की आज्ञा मानो और आपस में न झगड़ो, अन्यथा हिम्मत हार बैठोगे और तुम्हारी हवा उखड़ जाएगी। और धैर्य से काम लो। निश्चय ही, अल्लाह धैर्यवानों के साथ है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और ख़ुदा की और उसके रसूल की इताअत करो और आपस में झगड़ा न करो वरना तुम हिम्मत हारोगे और तुम्हारी हवा उखड़ जाएगी और (जंग की तकलीफ़ को) झेल जाओ (क्योंकि) ख़ुदा तो यक़ीनन सब्र करने वालों का साथी है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तुम अपने कथनों एवं कार्यों और अपनी सभी स्थितियों में अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की आज्ञा का पालन करो और आपस में मतभेद न करो। क्योंकि मतभेद तुम्हारी कमज़ोरी और कायरता, तथा तुम्हारी शक्ति के मिट जाने का कारण है। तथा अपने शत्रु से मुठभेड़ के समय धैर्य रखो। निःसंदेह अल्लाह विजय, समर्थन और सहायता के साथ धैर्य रखने वालों के संग है। और अल्लाह जिसके साथ हो, वही अनिवार्य रूप से विजयी और ग़ालिब रहता है। |
| Ayah 47 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلا تَكونوا كَالَّذينَ خَرَجوا مِن دِيارِهِم بَطَرًا وَرِئَاءَ النّاسِ وَيَصُدّونَ عَن سَبيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِما يَعمَلونَ مُحيطٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wala takoonoo kaallatheena kharajoo min diyarihim bataran wariaa alnnasi wayasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi waAllahu bima yaAAmaloona muheetun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena kharajoo min diyaarihim bataranw wa ri'aaa'an naasi wa yasuddoona 'an sabeelil laah; wallaahu bimaa ya'maloona muheet |
| English (Pickthall) | Be not as those who came forth from their dwellings boastfully and to be seen of men, and debar (men) from the way of Allah, while Allah is surrounding all they do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah: For Allah compasseth round about all that they do. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And Allah is encompassing of what they do. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Do not be like those idolaters who left Makkah full of pride, showing off to people, and who prevent people from Allah’s religion and stop them from entering into it. Allah is All-Aware of what they do. No action of theirs is hidden from Him and He will repay them for that. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और उन लोगों की तरह न हो जाना जो अपने घरों से इतराते और लोगों को दिखाते निकले थे और वे अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकते है, हालाँकि जो कुछ वे करते है, अल्लाह उसे अपने घेरे में लिए हुए है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और उन लोगों के ऐसे न हो जाओ जो इतराते हुए और लोगों के दिखलाने के वास्ते अपने घरों से निकल खड़े हुए और लोगों को ख़ुदा की राह से रोकते हैं और जो कुछ भी वह लोग करते हैं ख़ुदा उस पर (हर तरह से) अहाता किए हुए है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उन मुश्रिकों के समान न हो जाओ, जो मक्का से घमंड करते हुए तथा लोगों को दिखावा करते हुए निकले। तथा वे लोगों को अल्लाह के धर्म (इस्लाम) से दूर करते और उन्हें उसमें प्रवेश करने से रोकते हैं। हालाँकि जो कुछ वे करते हैं, अल्लाह उसे (अपने ज्ञान के) घेरे में लिए हुए है। उनके कामों में से कुछ भी उससे छिपा नहीं है, और वह उन्हें उनका बदला देगा। |
| Ayah 48 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيطانُ أَعمالَهُم وَقالَ لا غالِبَ لَكُمُ اليَومَ مِنَ النّاسِ وَإِنّي جارٌ لَكُم ۖ فَلَمّا تَراءَتِ الفِئَتانِ نَكَصَ عَلىٰ عَقِبَيهِ وَقالَ إِنّي بَريءٌ مِنكُم إِنّي أَرىٰ ما لا تَرَونَ إِنّي أَخافُ اللَّهَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ شَديدُ العِقابِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waith zayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum waqala la ghaliba lakumu alyawma mina alnnasi wainnee jarun lakum falamma taraati alfiatani nakasa AAala AAaqibayhi waqala innee bareeon minkum innee ara ma la tarawna innee akhafu Allaha waAllahu shadeedu alAAiqabi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa iz zaiyana lahumush shaitaanu a'ma alahum wa qaala laa ghaaliba lakumul yawma minan naasi wa innee jaarul lakum falammaa taraaa'atil fi'ataani nakasa 'alaa aqibaihi wa qaala innee bareee'um minkum innee araa maa laa tarawna inneee akhaaful laah; wallaahu shadeedul 'iqaab |
| English (Pickthall) | And when Satan made their deeds seem fair to them and said: No-one of mankind can conquer you this day, for I am your protector. But when the armies came in sight of one another, he took flight, saying: Lo! I am guiltless of you. Lo! I see that which ye see not. Lo! I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in punishment. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in penalty." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember, O believers, Allah’s favour on you when Satan made the actions of the idolaters seem good to them and encouraged them to face the Muslims in battle by saying to them, ‘No one can defeat you today because I am your supporter and I will protect you from your enemy’. When the two parties – the believers who had the angels as their support and the idolaters who had Satan who was going to desert them – met, Satan turned back fleeing and said to the idolaters: I have nothing to do with you. I can see the angels who have come to support the believers and I am afraid that Allah will destroy me. Allah’s punishment is harsh and no one is able to bear it. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और याद करो जब शैतान ने उनके कर्म उनके लिए सुन्दर बना दिए और कहा, "आज लोगों में से कोई भी तुमपर प्रभावी नहीं हो सकता। मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ।" किन्तु जब दोनों गिरोह आमने-सामने हुए तो वह उलटे पाँव फिर गया और कहने लगा, "मेरा तुमसे कोई सम्बन्ध नहीं। मैं वह कुछ देख रहा हूँ, जो तुम्हें नहीं दिखाई देता। मैं अल्लाह से डरता हूँ, और अल्लाह कठोर यातना देनेवाला है।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जब शैतान ने उनकी कारस्तानियों को उम्दा कर दिखाया और उनके कान में फूंक दिया कि लोगों में आज कोई ऐसा नहीं जो तुम पर ग़ालिब आ सके और मै तुम्हारा मददगार हूं फिर जब दोनों लश्कर मुकाबिल हुए तो अपने उलटे पॉव भाग निकला और कहने लगा कि मै तो तुम से अलग हूं मै वह चीजें देख रहा हूं जो तुम्हें नहीं सूझती मैं तो ख़ुदा से डरता हूं और ख़ुदा बहुत सख्त अज़ाब वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ ईमान वालो!) अपने ऊपर अल्लाह की नेमत को याद करो कि शैतान ने बहुदेववादियों के लिए उनके कर्म सुंदर बना दिए। इस तरह उसने उन्हें मुसलमानों का सामना करने और उनसे लड़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया और उनसे कहा : आज तुमपर कोई विजय पाने वाला नहीं, निश्चय मैं तुम्हारी सहायता करूँगा और तुम्हारे शत्रुओं से तुम्हारी रक्षा करूँगा। फिर जब दोनों गिरोह आमने-सामने हुए : एक तरफ़ ईमान वालों का गिरोह, जिनके साथ उनकी मदद के लिए फ़रिश्ते थे, और दूसरी तरफ़ बहुदेववादियों का गिरोह, जिनके साथ शैतान था, जो शीघ्र ही उनका साथ छोड़ने वाला था; ऐसी परिस्थिति में शैतान पीठ फेरकर भाग खड़ा हुआ और बहुदेववादियों से कहा : मैं तुमसे बरी हूँ। मैं उन फ़रिश्तों को देख रहा हूँ, जो मोमिनों की सहायता के लिए आए हैं। मुझे डर है कि कहीं अल्लाह मुझे नष्ट न कर दे, और अल्लाह बहुत कठोर सज़ा देने वाला है। इसलिए कोई भी उसकी सज़ा सहन करने में सक्षम नहीं है। |
| Ayah 49 |
| عَرَبِي | إِذ يَقولُ المُنافِقونَ وَالَّذينَ في قُلوبِهِم مَرَضٌ غَرَّ هٰؤُلاءِ دينُهُم ۗ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّل عَلَى اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزيزٌ حَكيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ith yaqoolu almunafiqoona waallatheena fee quloobihim maradun gharra haolai deenuhum waman yatawakkal AAala Allahi fainna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Iz yaqoolul munaafiqoona wallazeena fee quloobihim maradun gharra haaa'ulaaa'i deenuhum; wa mai yatawakkal 'alal laahi fa innal laaha 'azee zun Hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | When the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease said: Their religion hath deluded these. Whoso putteth his trust in Allah (will find that) lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Lo! the hypocrites say, and those in whose hearts is a disease: "These people,- their religion has misled them." But if any trust in Allah, behold! Allah is Exalted in might, Wise. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease said, "Their religion has deluded those [Muslims]." But whoever relies upon Allah - then indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember when the hypocrites and those of weak faith were saying: The religion of these people – which promised them victory over their enemies despite their lack of numbers and preparation as compared to the huge number and the strength of their enemies – has deceived them. They have not understood that the person who places reliance upon Allah alone and who has faith in the victory that Allah has promised, Allah will assist such a person and will never desert them no matter how weak they may be. Allah is Mighty and no one can overcome Him. He is Wise in His decree and sacred laws. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | याद करो जब कपटाचारी और वे लोग जिनके दिलों में रोग है, कह रहे थे, "इन लोगों को तो इनके धर्म ने धोखे में डाल रखा है।" हालाँकि जो अल्लाह पर भरोसा रखता है, तो निश्चय ही अल्लाह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ये वक्त था) जब मुनाफिक़ीन और जिन लोगों के दिल में (कुफ्र का) मर्ज़ है कह रहे थे कि उन मुसलमानों को उनके दीन ने धोके में डाल रखा है (कि इतराते फिरते हैं हालॉकि जो शख़्स ख़ुदा पर भरोसा करता है (वह ग़ालिब रहता है क्योंकि) ख़ुदा तो यक़ीनन ग़ालिब और हिकमत वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा (वह समय याद करो) जब मुनाफ़िक़ तथा कमज़ोर ईमान वाले लोग कह रहे थे : इन मुसलमानों को इनके धर्म ने धोखा दिया है, जो इनसे इनकी कम संख्या और कमज़ोर उपकरण के बावजूद, इनसे अधिक संख्या और मज़बूत उपकरण वाले इनके दुश्मनों पर जीत का वादा कर रहा है। लेकिन इन लोगों को इस बात का एहसास नहीं था कि जो व्यक्ति एक अल्लाह पर भरोसा करता और उसके मदद के वादे पर विश्वास रखता है, तो निश्चय अल्लाह उसकी सहायता करने वाला है और वह उसे कभी असहाय नहीं छोड़ेगा, चाहे वह कितना भी कमज़ोर क्यों न हो। अल्लाह सब पर प्रभुत्वशाली है, कोई भी उसे परास्त नहीं कर सकता, वह अपनी नियति और विधान में पूर्ण हिकमत वाला है। |
| Ayah 50 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلَو تَرىٰ إِذ يَتَوَفَّى الَّذينَ كَفَرُوا ۙ المَلائِكَةُ يَضرِبونَ وُجوهَهُم وَأَدبارَهُم وَذوقوا عَذابَ الحَريقِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walaw tara ith yatawaffa allatheena kafaroo almalaikatu yadriboona wujoohahum waadbarahum wathooqoo AAathaba alhareeqi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa law taraaa iz yatawaf fal lazeena kafarul malaaa'ikatu yadriboona wujoohahum wa adbaarahum wa zooqoo 'azaabal hareeq |
| English (Pickthall) | If thou couldst see how the angels receive those who disbelieve, smiting faces and their backs and (saying): Taste the punishment of burning! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | If thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved... They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If only you, O Messenger, could see those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers at the time when the angels remove their souls, striking their faces when they face towards them and striking their backs when they try to run away, and saying to them: Taste, O disbelievers, the burning punishment! If you had to see that, you would see a serious heart-wrenching sight. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | क्या ही अच्छा होता कि तुम देखते जब फ़रिश्ते इनकार करनेवालों के प्राण ग्रस्त करते हैं! वे उनके चहरों और उनकी पीठों पर मारते जाते हैं कि "लो अब जलने की यातना मज़ा चखो।" (तो उनकी दुर्दशा का अन्दाजा कर सकते) |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और काश (ऐ रसूल) तुम देखते जब फ़रिश्ते काफ़िरों की जान निकाल लेते थे और रूख़ और पुश्त (पीठ) पर कोड़े मारते थे और (कहते थे कि) अज़ाब जहन्नुम के मज़े चखों |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और यदि (ऐ रसूल!) आप अल्लाह और उसके रसूलों का इनकार करने वालों को उस समय देखते, जब फ़रिश्ते उनके प्राण निकाल रहे थे; जब वे आगे बढ़ते थे, तो उनके चेहरों पर मारते और जब वे पीठ फेरकर भागते, तो उनकी पीठ पर मारते थे और उनसे कहते थे : (ऐ काफ़िरो!) जलाने वाली यातना का मज़ा चखो। यदि आप इसे देखते, तो आप एक भयानक दृश्य देखते। |
| Ayah 51 |
| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكَ بِما قَدَّمَت أَيديكُم وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيسَ بِظَلّامٍ لِلعَبيدِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalika bima qaddamat aydeekum waanna Allaha laysa bithallamin lilAAabeedi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalika bimaa qaddamat aideekum wa anal laaha laisa bizallaamil lil 'abeed |
| English (Pickthall) | This is for that which your own hands have sent before (to the Judgment), and (know) that Allah is not a tyrant to His slaves. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "Because of (the deeds) which your (own) hands sent forth; for Allah is never unjust to His servants: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That is for what your hands have put forth [of evil] and because Allah is not ever unjust to His servants." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The cause of that painful punishment at the time when your souls are taken out and the burning punishment in your graves and in the Afterlife is because of the evil actions you performed in the world. Allah does not wrong people, but passes judgement on them with fairness. He is not unjust to His slaves. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह तो उसी का बदला है जो तुम्हारे हाथों ने आगे भेजा और यह कि अल्लाह अपने बन्दों पर तनिक भी अत्याचार नहीं करता |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये सज़ा उसकी है जो तुम्हारे हाथों ने पहले किया कराया है और ख़ुदा बन्दों पर हरगिज़ ज़ुल्म नहीं किया करता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ काफ़िरो!) तुम्हारे प्राण निकालते समय यह दर्दनाक पीड़ा, तथा तुम्हारी क़ब्रों में और आख़िरत में जलाने वाली यातना, यह (सब) उसके कारण है, जो दुनिया में तुम्हारे हाथों ने कमाया है। इसलिए कि अल्लाह लोगों पर अत्याचार नहीं करता, बल्कि उनके बीच न्याय के साथ फ़ैसला करता है। क्योंकि वह न्याय के साथ निर्णय करने वाला है। |
| Ayah 52 |
| عَرَبِي | كَدَأبِ آلِ فِرعَونَ ۙ وَالَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم ۚ كَفَروا بِآياتِ اللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنوبِهِم ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ شَديدُ العِقابِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Kadabi ali firAAawna waallatheena min qablihim kafaroo biayati Allahi faakhathahumu Allahu bithunoobihim inna Allaha qawiyyun shadeedu alAAiqabi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Kadaabi Aali Fir'awna wal lazeena min qablihim; kafaroo bi Aayaatil laahi fa akhazahu mul laahu bizunoobihim; innal laaha qawiyyun shadeedul 'iqaab |
| English (Pickthall) | (Their way is) as the way of Pharaoh's folk and those before them; they disbelieved the revelations of Allah, and Allah took them in their sins. Lo! Allah is Strong, severe in punishment. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | These disbelievers were not the only ones to be punished this way; rather, it is Allah’s way of dealing with disbelievers in every time and place. The people of Pharaoh and the communities before them were also punished like this when they disbelieved in Allah’s words. Allah punished them for their sins with His might and power. Allah is Strong and cannot be overpowered or defeated. His punishment for those who go against Him is severe. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | इनके साथ वैसा ही मामला पेश आया जैसा फ़िरऔन के लोगों और उनसे पहले के लोगों के साथ पेश आया। उन्होंने अल्लाह की आयतों का इनकार किया तो अल्लाह ने उनके गुनाहों के कारण उन्हें पकड़ लिया। निस्संदेह अल्लाह शक्तिशाली, कठोर यातना देनेवाला है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (उन लोगों की हालत) क़ौमे फिरऔन और उनके लोगों की सी है जो उन से पहले थे और ख़ुदा की आयतों से इन्कार करते थे तो ख़ुदा ने भी उनके गुनाहों की वजह से उन्हें ले डाला बेशक ख़ुदा ज़बरदस्त और बहुत सख्त अज़ाब देने वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | इन काफ़िरों पर उतरने वाली यह यातना उन्हीं के लिए विशिष्ट नहीं है, बल्कि यह अल्लाह का नियम है जो वह हर समय और जगह में काफ़िरों पर लागू करता रहा है। चुनाँचे फ़िरऔन के लोग तथा उनसे पहले के समुदाय इससे पीड़ित हो चुके हैं, जब उन्होंने अल्लाह की निशानियों का इनकार किया। इसलिए अल्लाह ने उन्हें, उनके गुनाहों के कारण एक प्रभुत्वशाली और शक्तिमान की तरह पकड़ लिया और उनपर अपना दंड उतार दिया। निःसंदेह अल्लाह बहुत शक्तिशाली, अजेय और अपराजेय है, अपनी अवज्ञा करने वालों को कठोर दंड देने वाला है। |
| Ayah 53 |
| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَم يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِعمَةً أَنعَمَها عَلىٰ قَومٍ حَتّىٰ يُغَيِّروا ما بِأَنفُسِهِم ۙ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَميعٌ عَليمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalika bianna Allaha lam yaku mughayyiran niAAmatan anAAamaha AAala qawmin hatta yughayyiroo ma bianfusihim waanna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalika bi annal laaha lam yaku mughaiyiran ni matan an'amahaa 'alaa qawmin hattaa yughaiyiroo maa bianfusihim wa annallaaha samee un 'Aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | That is because Allah never changeth the grace He hath bestowed on any people until they first change that which is in their hearts, and (that is) because Allah is Hearer, Knower. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things)." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | That severe punishment is because when Allah favours a people, He does not take it away from them until they change themselves from their pure state of faith, righteousness and gratitude to a bad state of disbelief in Allah, sin and ingratitude – Allah hears the statements of His servants and knows about their actions; nothing is hidden from Him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह इसलिए हुआ कि अल्लाह उस उदार अनुग्रह (नेमत) को, जो उसने किसी क़ौम पर किया हो, बदलनेवाला नहीं हैं, जब तक कि लोग उस चीज़ को न बदल डालें, जिसका सम्बन्ध स्वयं उनसे है। और यह कि अल्लाह सब कुछ सुनता, जानता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये सज़ा इस वजह से (दी गई) कि जब कोई नेअमत ख़ुदा किसी क़ौम को देता है तो जब तक कि वह लोग ख़ुद अपनी कलबी हालत (न) बदलें ख़ुदा भी उसे नहीं बदलेगा और ख़ुदा तो यक़ीनी (सब की सुनता) और सब कुछ जानता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह दर्दनाक यातना इस कारण है कि अल्लाह जब किसी जाति को कोई अनुग्रह प्रदान करता है, तो उसे उनसे उस समय तक नहीं छीनता, जब तक कि वे ईमान, धार्मिकता और नेमतों के प्रति आभार की अपनी अच्छी स्थिति को बदलकर अल्लाह के इनकार, उसकी अवज्ञा और उसकी नेमतों की नाशुक्री की बुरी स्थिति को न अपना लें। और यह कि अल्लाह अपने बंदों की बातों को सुनने वाला, उनके कार्यों को जानने वाला है। उनकी कोई चीज़ उससे छिपी नहीं है। |
| Ayah 54 |
| عَرَبِي | كَدَأبِ آلِ فِرعَونَ ۙ وَالَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم ۚ كَذَّبوا بِآياتِ رَبِّهِم فَأَهلَكناهُم بِذُنوبِهِم وَأَغرَقنا آلَ فِرعَونَ ۚ وَكُلٌّ كانوا ظالِمينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Kadabi ali firAAawna waallatheena min qablihim kaththaboo biayati rabbihim faahlaknahum bithunoobihim waaghraqna ala firAAawna wakullun kanoo thalimeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Kadaabi Aali Fir'awna wallazeena min qablihim; kazzaboo bi Aayaati Rabbihim faahlaknaahum bizunoobihim wa aghraqnaa Aala Fir'awn; wa kullun kaanoo zaalimeen |
| English (Pickthall) | (Their way is) as the way of Pharaoh's folk and those before them; they denied the revelations of their Lord, so We destroyed them in their sins. And We drowned the folk of Pharaoh. All were evil-doers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | (Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them": They treated as false the Signs of their Lord: so We destroyed them for their crimes, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh: for they were all oppressors and wrong-doers. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They denied the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh. And all [of them] were wrongdoers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The case of these disbelievers is like that of others who disbelieved in Allah, such as the people of Pharaoh and the communities who rejected Allah before them. They rejected the verses of their Lord so Allah destroyed them because of the sins they committed. Allah destroyed the people of Pharaoh by causing them to drown in the sea. The people of Pharaoh, as well as the communities before them, were all disobedient because of their disbelief in Allah and their association of partners with Him. They therefore deserved the punishment Allah imposed on them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जैसे फ़िरऔनियों और उनसे पहले के लोगों का हाल हुआ। उन्होंने अपने रब की आयतों को झुठलाया तो हमने उन्हें उनके गुनाहों के बदले में विनष्ट कर दिया और फ़िरऔनियों को डूबो दिया। ये सभी अत्याचारी थे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (उन लोगों की हालत) क़ौम फिरऔन और उन लोगों की सी है जो उनसे पहले थे और अपने परवरदिगार की आयतों को झुठलाते थे तो हमने भी उनके गुनाहों की वजह से उनको हलाक़ कर डाला और फिरऔन की क़ौम को डुबा मारा और (ये) सब के सब ज़ालिम थे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | इन काफ़िरों की स्थिति उन अन्य लोगों की तरह है, जिन्होंने फ़िरऔनियों तथा उनसे पहले के झुठलाने वाले समुदायों की तरह अल्लाह का इनकार किया। उन्होंने अपने रब की निशानियों को झुठलाया, इसलिए अल्लाह ने उनके द्वारा किए गए पापों के कारण उन्हें विनष्ट कर दिया, तथा अल्लाह ने फ़िरऔनियों को समुद्र में डुबोकर विनष्ट किया। दरअसल, फ़िरऔन के लोग और उनसे पहले के झुठलाने वाले सभी समुदाय, अपने कुफ़्र एवं शिर्क के कारण ज़ालिम थे। इसलिए वे अल्लाह की सज़ा के हक़दार बन गए थे, तो अल्लाह ने उनपर सज़ा उतार दी। |
| Ayah 55 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوابِّ عِندَ اللَّهِ الَّذينَ كَفَروا فَهُم لا يُؤمِنونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna sharra alddawabbi AAinda Allahi allatheena kafaroo fahum la yuminoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Inna sharrad dawaaabbi 'indal laahil lazeena kafaroo fahum laa yu'minoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the ungrateful who will not believe. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are those who reject Him: They will not believe. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe - |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The worst of those who walk on the earth are those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers, and who would not believe even if every sign was to come to them – they would still persist in disbelief. The means of guidance – such as intellect, hearing and sight – are of no use to these people. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | धरती पर चलने वाले सबसे बुरे लोग वे हैं, जिन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूलों का इनकार किया। भले ही उनके पास हर तरह की निशानी आ जाए, वे ईमान नहीं लाएँगे; क्योंकि वे कुफ़्र पर अड़े हुए हैं। उनके अंदर मार्गदर्शन के साधन जैसे बुद्धि, कान और आँख निष्कर्म हो चुके हैं। |
| Ayah 56 |
| عَرَبِي | الَّذينَ عاهَدتَ مِنهُم ثُمَّ يَنقُضونَ عَهدَهُم في كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ وَهُم لا يَتَّقونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allatheena AAahadta minhum thumma yanqudoona AAahdahum fee kulli marratin wahum la yattaqoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allazeena'aahatta min hum summa yanqudoona 'ahdahum fee kulli marratinw wa hum laa yattaqoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Those of them with whom thou madest a treaty, and then at every opportunity they break their treaty, and they keep not duty (to Allah). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They are those with whom thou didst make a covenant, but they break their covenant every time, and they have not the fear (of Allah). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | The ones with whom you made a treaty but then they break their pledge every time, and they do not fear Allah. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Some of these Jewish disbelievers agreed a treaty to not fight against you, O Messenger, nor support any one else in fighting against you. They, then, break this treaty every time you make it with them. They have no fear of Allah so they do not fulfil their oaths and do not honour the promises taken from them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिनसे तुमने वचन लिया वे फिर हर बार अपने वचन को भंग कर देते है और वे डर नहीं रखते |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ रसूल जिन लोगों से तुम ने एहद व पैमान किया था फिर वह लोग अपने एहद को हर बार तोड़ डालते है और (फिर ख़ुदा से) नहीं डरते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिन लोगों के साथ आपने संधियाँ और समझौते किए हैं (जैसे बनू क़ुरैज़ा), फिर वे हर बार अपना समझौता भंग कर देते हैं और वे अल्लाह से नहीं डरते। इसलिए वे अपनी प्रतिज्ञाएँ पूरी नहीं करते और उनसे ली गई वाचाओं का पालन नहीं करते। |
| Ayah 57 |
| عَرَبِي | فَإِمّا تَثقَفَنَّهُم فِي الحَربِ فَشَرِّد بِهِم مَن خَلفَهُم لَعَلَّهُم يَذَّكَّرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faimma tathqafannahum fee alharbi fasharrid bihim man khalfahum laAAallahum yaththakkaroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa immaa tasqafannahum fil harbi fasharrid bihim man khalfahum la'allahum yazzakkaroon |
| English (Pickthall) | If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | If ye gain the mastery over them in war, disperse, with them, those who follow them, that they may remember. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So if you, [O Muhammad], gain dominance over them in war, disperse by [means of] them those behind them that perhaps they will be reminded. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If you, O Messenger, face in battle these people who break their pledges, then make a harsh example of them so that others hear about it, take a lesson from that and become afraid of fighting you and supporting your enemies against you. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो अगर वह लड़ाई में तुम्हारे हाथे चढ़ जाएँ तो (ऐसी सख्त गोश्माली दो कि) उनके साथ साथ उन लोगों का तो अगर वह लड़ाई में तुम्हारे हत्थे चढ़ जाएं तो (ऐसी सजा दो की) उनके साथ उन लोगों को भी तितिर बितिर कर दो जो उन के पुश्त पर हो ताकि ये इबरत हासिल करें |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो यदि कभी (ऐ रसूल!) आप इन वचन तोड़ने वाले लोगों को युद्धभूमि में पा लें, तो उन्हें और अधिक कठोर दंड दें यहाँ तक कि दूसरे लोग भी इसके बारे में सुन लें, ताकि वे इनकी स्थिति से सीख ग्रहण करें। फिर वे आपसे लड़ने और आपके विरुद्ध आपके शत्रुओं की मदद करने से डर महसूस करें। |
| Ayah 58 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِمّا تَخافَنَّ مِن قَومٍ خِيانَةً فَانبِذ إِلَيهِم عَلىٰ سَواءٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُحِبُّ الخائِنينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waimma takhafanna min qawmin khiyanatan fainbith ilayhim AAala sawain inna Allaha la yuhibbu alkhaineena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa immaa takhaafana min qawmin khiyaanatan fambiz ilaihim 'alaa sawaaa'; innal laaha laayuhibbul khaaa'ineen |
| English (Pickthall) | And if thou fearest treachery from any folk, then throw back to them (their treaty) fairly. Lo! Allah loveth not the treacherous. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for Allah loveth not the treacherous. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | If you [have reason to] fear from a people betrayal, throw [their treaty] back to them, [putting you] on equal terms. Indeed, Allah does not like traitors. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If you, O Messenger, become afraid, due to a sign that becomes obvious to you, that a people with whom you entered into a treaty will betray you and break the treaty, then inform them that the treaty is cancelled, so that they are not unjustly disadvantaged. Do not attack them suddenly without informing them, because doing so will be treachery on your part and Allah does not love those who are treacherous. Instead, He detests such people, so be careful of treachery. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और यदि (ऐ रसूल!) आपको किसी ऐसी जाति की ओर से जिनसे आपने संधि कर रखी है, धोखा देने और वचन तोड़ने का भय हो, जिसके आपको संकेत दिखाई पड़ रहे हों, तो आप उन्हें उनके वचन को तोड़ने के बारे में सूचित कर दें, ताकि वे इसकी जानकारी में आपके बराबर हो जाएँ। उन्हें सूचित करने से पहले उनपर अचानक हमला न करें। क्योंकि सूचना देने से पहले अचानक उनपर हमला करना विश्वासघात है। और अल्लाह विश्वासघात करने वालों से प्रेम नहीं करता, बल्कि उनसे घृणा करता है। इसलिए आप विश्वासघात से सावधान रहें। |
| Ayah 59 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلا يَحسَبَنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا سَبَقوا ۚ إِنَّهُم لا يُعجِزونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wala yahsabanna allatheena kafaroo sabaqoo innahum la yuAAjizoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laa yahsabannal lazeena kafaroo sabaqooo; innahum laa yu'jizoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly): they will never frustrate (them). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The disbelievers should not think that they have escaped from Allah’s punishment, because they cannot do so. Instead, it will surely fall upon them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | इनकार करनेवाले यह न समझे कि वे आगे निकल गए। वे क़ाबू से बाहर नहीं जा सकते |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जो लोग काफ़िर हैं, वे हरगिज़ यह न समझें कि वे अल्लाह के दंड से छूट गए हैं और उससे बच निकले हैं। वे अल्लाह से नहीं छूट सकते और उसके दंड से नहीं बच सकते। बल्कि वह हर हाल में उन्हें पाकर रहेगा। |
| Ayah 60 |
| عَرَبِي | وَأَعِدّوا لَهُم مَا استَطَعتُم مِن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِباطِ الخَيلِ تُرهِبونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُم وَآخَرينَ مِن دونِهِم لا تَعلَمونَهُمُ اللَّهُ يَعلَمُهُم ۚ وَما تُنفِقوا مِن شَيءٍ في سَبيلِ اللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيكُم وَأَنتُم لا تُظلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | WaaAAiddoo lahum ma istataAAtum min quwwatin wamin ribati alkhayli turhiboona bihi AAaduwwa Allahi waAAaduwwakum waakhareena min doonihim la taAAlamoonahumu Allahu yaAAlamuhum wama tunfiqoo min shayin fee sabeeli Allahi yuwaffa ilaykum waantum la tuthlamoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa a'iddoo lahum mastata'tum min quwwatinw wa mirribaatil khaili turhiboona bihee 'aduwwal laahi wa 'aduwwakum wa aakhareena min doonihim laa ta'lamoo nahum Allaahu ya'lamuhum; wa maa tunfiqoo min shai'in fee sabeelil laahi yuwaf failaikum wa antum laa tuzlamoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them. Whatsoever ye spend in the way of Allah it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. | English (Abridged Expl.) | Prepare, O believers, whatever numbers and war equipment you are able to, including keeping trained horses to be used in Allah’s path, so you can frighten Allah’s enemies and your enemies from among the disbelievers who are eagerly waiting for you to be afflicted with a disaster. You can also frighten others whom you do not know of and whose hidden hatred you are not aware of. Allah alone knows them and He knows what they keep hidden inside themselves. Any wealth you spend, whether a little or much, Allah will replace it for you in this world and will give you the reward for it in full in the Afterlife without any reduction. So hurry towards spending in His path. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जो भी तुमसे हो सके, उनके लिए बल और बँधे घोड़े तैयार रखो, ताकि इसके द्वारा अल्लाह के शत्रुओं और अपने शत्रुओं और इनके अतिरिक्त उन दूसरे लोगों को भी भयभीत कर दो जिन्हें तुम नहीं जानते। अल्लाह उनको जानता है और अल्लाह के मार्ग में तुम जो कुछ भी ख़र्च करोगे, वह तुम्हें पूरा-पूरा चुका दिया जाएगा और तुम्हारे साथ कदापि अन्याय न होगा |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (मुसलमानों तुम कुफ्फार के मुकाबले के) वास्ते जहाँ तक तुमसे हो सके (अपने बाज़ू के) ज़ोर से और बॅधे हुए घोड़े से लड़ाई का सामान मुहय्या करो इससे ख़ुदा के दुश्मन और अपने दुश्मन और उसके सिवा दूसरे लोगों पर भी अपनी धाक बढ़ा लेगें जिन्हें तुम नहीं जानते हो मगर ख़ुदा तो उनको जानता है और ख़ुदा की राह में तुम जो कुछ भी ख़र्च करोगें वह तुम पूरा पूरा भर पाओगें और तुम पर किसी तरह ज़ुल्म नहीं किया जाएगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा (ऐ ईमान वालो!) तुमसे जितना हो सके संख्याबल और (सैन्य) उपकरण तैयार रखो, और उनके लिए उन घोड़ों को तैयार रखो, जिन्हें अल्लाह के मार्ग में जिहाद के लिए पाले हुए हो, जिससे तुम उन काफ़िरों में से अल्लाह के शत्रुओं तथा अपने शत्रुओं को डरा सको, जो हमेशा तुम्हें नुकसान पहुँचाने की फिराक में रहते हैं, तथा जिससे कुछ अन्य लोगों को भी डरा सको, जिन्हें तुम नहीं जानते तथा तुम यह भी नहीं जानते कि उन्होंने अपने दिलों में तुम्हारे खिलाफ कितनी (बड़ी) दुश्मनी छिपा रखी है। बल्कि उन्हें और उनके दिलों में छिपी बातों को केवल अल्लाह ही जानता है। तथा अल्लाह की राह में तुम जो भी खर्च करोगे, कम हो या ज़्यादा, अल्लाह उसका इस दुनिया में तुम्हें बदला देगा और आख़िरत में तुम्हें उसका पूरा-पूरा सवाब देगा। इसलिए अल्लाह की राह में ख़र्च करने में जल्दी करो। |
| Ayah 61 |
| عَرَبِي | ۞ وَإِن جَنَحوا لِلسَّلمِ فَاجنَح لَها وَتَوَكَّل عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wain janahoo lilssalmi faijnah laha watawakkal AAala Allahi innahu huwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa in janahoo lissalmi fajnah lahaa wa tawakkal 'alal laah; innahoo Huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | And if they incline to peace, incline thou also to it, and trust in Allah. Lo! He, even He, is the Hearer, the Knower. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If they incline to a truce to give up fighting, then, O Messenger, do the same: enter into a truce with them and place your reliance and faith in Allah, because He will never desert you. He is the One Who hears your statements and knows your intentions and actions. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और यदि वे संधि और सलामती की ओर झुकें तो तुम भी इसके लिए झुक जाओ और अल्लाह पर भरोसा रखो। निस्संदेह, वह सब कुछ सुनता, जानता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और अगर ये कुफ्फार सुलह की तरफ माएल हो तो तुम भी उसकी तरफ माएल हो और ख़ुदा पर भरोसा रखो (क्योंकि) वह बेशक (सब कुछ) सुनता जानता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और यदि वे संधि की ओर झुकें और आपसे लड़ाई करना त्याग दें, तो (ऐ रसूल!) आप भी उसकी ओर झुक जाएँ और उनसे समझौता कर लें, तथा अल्लाह पर भरोसा करें और उसपर विश्वास रखें। क्योंकि वह हरगिज़ आपको असहाय नहीं छोड़ेगा। निःसंदेह वह उनकी बातों को सुनने वाला, उनके इरादों और कार्यों को जानने वाला है। |
| Ayah 62 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِن يُريدوا أَن يَخدَعوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسبَكَ اللَّهُ ۚ هُوَ الَّذي أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصرِهِ وَبِالمُؤمِنينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wain yureedoo an yakhdaAAooka fainna hasbaka Allahu huwa allathee ayyadaka binasrihi wabialmumineena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa iny yureedooo any-yakhda'ooka fainna hasbakal laah; Huwal lazeee aiyadaka binasrihee wa bilmu'mineen |
| English (Pickthall) | And if they would deceive thee, then lo! Allah is Sufficient for thee. He it is Who supporteth thee with His help and with the believers, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Should they intend to deceive thee,- verily Allah sufficeth thee: He it is That hath strengthened thee with His aid and with (the company of) the Believers; |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But if they intend to deceive you - then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If, by inclining to a truce, their goal is to deceive you, O Messenger, so that they can prepare to fight you, then Allah is sufficient for you against their plot and deception. It is He Who strengthened you with His help and with those Emigrants and Helpers who have faith in you. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और यदि वे यह चाहें कि तुम्हें धोखा दें तो तुम्हारे लिए अल्लाह काफ़ी है। वही तो है जिसने तुम्हें अपनी सहायता से और मोमिनों के द्वारा शक्ति प्रदान की |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और अगर वह लोग तुम्हें फरेब देना चाहे तो (कुछ परवा नहीं) ख़ुदा तुम्हारे वास्ते यक़ीनी काफी है-(ऐ रसूल) वही तो वह (ख़ुदा) है जिसने अपनी ख़ास मदद और मोमिनीन से तुम्हारी ताईद की |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और यदि संधि करने और युद्ध करना छोड़ने से उनका उद्देश्य (ऐ रसूल!) आपको धोखा देना है, ताकि वे आपसे लड़ने के लिए तैयारी कर सकें, तो अल्लाह उनकी साज़िश और धोखे से आपको बचाने के लिए काफ़ी है। वही है जिसने अपनी सहायता से आपको मज़बूती प्रदान की, तथा ईमान लाने वाले मुहाजिरों और अनसारियों की मदद से आपको सशक्त किया। |
| Ayah 63 |
| عَرَبِي | وَأَلَّفَ بَينَ قُلوبِهِم ۚ لَو أَنفَقتَ ما فِي الأَرضِ جَميعًا ما أَلَّفتَ بَينَ قُلوبِهِم وَلٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَينَهُم ۚ إِنَّهُ عَزيزٌ حَكيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waallafa bayna quloobihim law anfaqta ma fee alardi jameeAAan ma allafta bayna quloobihim walakinna Allaha allafa baynahum innahu AAazeezun hakeemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa allafa baina quloobihim; law anfaqta maa fil ardi jamee'am maaa allafta baina quloobihim wa laakinnallaaha allafa bainahum; innaahoo 'Azeezun Hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | And (as for the believers) hath attuned their hearts. If thou hadst spent all that is in the earth thou couldst not have attuned their hearts, but Allah hath attuned them. Lo! He is Mighty, Wise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And (moreover) He hath put affection between their hearts: not if thou hadst spent all that is in the earth, couldst thou have produced that affection, but Allah hath done it: for He is Exalted in might, Wise. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He brought the hearts of the believers, with whom He assisted you, together after they were disunited. If you had spent all the wealth on earth to bring their disunited hearts together, you would not have been able to do so. But Allah alone brought them together. He is Mighty in His dominion and nothing can overpower Him. He is Wise in His decree, handling of affairs and sacred laws. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और उनके दिल आपस में एक-दूसरे से जोड़ दिए। यदि तुम धरती में जो कुछ है, सब खर्च कर डालते तो भी उनके दिलों को परस्पर जोड़ न सकते, किन्तु अल्लाह ने उन्हें परस्पर जोड़ दिया। निश्चय ही वह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और उसी ने उन मुसलमानों के दिलों में बाहम ऐसी उलफ़त पैदा कर दी कि अगर तुम जो कुछ ज़मीन में है सब का सब खर्च कर डालते तो भी उनके दिलो में ऐसी उलफ़त पैदा न कर सकते मगर ख़ुदा ही था जिसने बाहम उलफत पैदा की बेशक वह ज़बरदस्त हिक़मत वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा उसने उन ईमान वालों के दिलों को, जिनके द्वारा उसने आपकी मदद की, आपस में जोड़ दिया, जबकि वे बिखरे हुए थे। यदि आप उनके बिखरे हुए दिलों को जोड़ने के लिए, धरती के अंदर जितना धन है, सब खर्च कर देते, तो भी आप उन्हें जोड़ न पाते। लेकिन अकेले अल्लाह ने उन्हें जोड़ दिया। वह अपने राज्य में शक्तिशाली है, उसे कोई परास्त नहीं कर सकता। वह अपनी नियति, प्रबंधन और विधान में हिकमत वाला है। |

| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu hasbuka Allahu wamani ittabaAAaka mina almumineena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu hasbukal laahu wa manittaba 'aka minal mu'mineen |
| English (Pickthall) | O Prophet! Allah is Sufficient for thee and those who follow thee of the believers. |

| Ayah 65 |
| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ المُؤمِنينَ عَلَى القِتالِ ۚ إِن يَكُن مِنكُم عِشرونَ صابِرونَ يَغلِبوا مِائَتَينِ ۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِنكُم مِائَةٌ يَغلِبوا أَلفًا مِنَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا بِأَنَّهُم قَومٌ لا يَفقَهونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu harridi almumineena AAala alqitali in yakun minkum AAishroona sabiroona yaghliboo miatayni wain yakun minkum miatun yaghliboo alfan mina allatheena kafaroo biannahum qawmun la yafqahoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu harridil mu'mineena 'alal qitaal; iny-yakum minkum 'ishroona saabiroona yaghliboo mi'atayn; wa iny-yakum minkum min'atuny yaghlibooo alfam minal lazeena kafaroo bi anahum qawmul laa yafqahoon |
| English (Pickthall) | O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty steadfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred (steadfast) they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. | English (Abridged Expl.) | O Prophet, urge the believers on to fight and encourage them to do so with words that will strengthen their determination and lift their spirits. If there are among you, O believers, twenty who are patient in fighting against the disbelievers, they will overcome two hundred of the disbelievers. And if there are among you one hundred who are patient, they will overcome one thousand of the disbelievers. That is because the disbelievers are a people who do not understand Allah’s custom of aiding His friends and defeating His enemies. They do not realise the goal of fighting and they therefore only fight in order to gain supremacy in the world. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ नबी! मोमिनों को जिहाद पर उभारो। यदि तुम्हारे बीस आदमी जमे होंगे, तो वे दो सौ पर प्रभावी होंगे और यदि तुमसे से ऐसे सौ होंगे तो वे इनकार करनेवालों में से एक हज़ार पर प्रभावी होंगे, क्योंकि वे नासमझ लोग है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ रसूल तुम मोमिनीन को जिहाद के वास्ते आमादा करो (वह घबराए नहीं ख़ुदा उनसे वायदा करता है कि) अगर तुम लोगों में के साबित क़दम रहने वाले बीस भी होगें तो वह दो सौ (काफिरों) पर ग़ालिब आ जायेगे और अगर तुम लोगों में से साबित कदम रहने वालों सौ होगें तो हज़ार (काफिरों) पर ग़ालिब आ जाएँगें इस सबब से कि ये लोग ना समझ हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ नबी! ईमान वालों को लड़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करें, तथा उन्हें इसके लिए इस तरह से प्रोत्साहन दें कि उनके संकल्प को मज़बूत करें और उनका हौसला बढ़ाएँ। (ऐ ईमान वालो!) अगर तुममें से बीस आदमी काफ़िरों से लड़ने में धैर्य रखने वाले हों, तो दो सौ काफ़िरों पर प्रभावी रहेंगे। और अगर तुममें से एक सौ धैर्य रखने वाले हों, तो एक हज़ार काफ़िरों को हरा देंगे। इसका कारण यह है कि काफ़िर लोग अल्लाह का यह नियम नहीं समझते कि वह अपने दोस्तों को विजय प्रदान करता है और अपने शत्रुओं को परास्त कर देता है। तथा वे नहीं जानते कि लड़ने का क्या उद्देश्य है। यही कारण है कि वे दुनिया में वर्चस्व प्राप्त करने के लिए लड़ते हैं। |
| Ayah 66 |
| عَرَبِي | الآنَ خَفَّفَ اللَّهُ عَنكُم وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فيكُم ضَعفًا ۚ فَإِن يَكُن مِنكُم مِائَةٌ صابِرَةٌ يَغلِبوا مِائَتَينِ ۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِنكُم أَلفٌ يَغلِبوا أَلفَينِ بِإِذنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصّابِرينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Alana khaffafa Allahu AAankum waAAalima anna feekum daAAfan fain yakun minkum miatun sabiratun yaghliboo miatayni wain yakun minkum alfun yaghliboo alfayni biithni Allahi waAllahu maAAa alssabireena |

And if there are one thousand among you who remain patient, they will defeat two thousand of the disbelievers with Allah’s permission. Allah, with His support and assistance, is with those believers who remain patient. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अब अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे बोझ हल्का कर दिया और उसे मालूम हुआ कि तुममें कुछ कमज़ोरी है। तो यदि तुम्हारे सौ आदमी जमे रहनेवाले होंगे, तो वे दो सौ पर प्रभावी रहेंगे और यदि तुममें से ऐसे हजार होंगे तो अल्लाह के हुक्म से वे दो हज़ार पर प्रभावी रहेंगे। अल्लाह तो उन्ही लोगों के साथ है जो जमे रहते है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | अब ख़ुदा ने तुम से (अपने हुक्म की सख्ती में) तख्फ़ीफ (कमी) कर दी और देख लिया कि तुम में यक़ीनन कमज़ोरी है तो अगर तुम लोगों में से साबित क़दम रहने वाले सौ होगें तो दो सौ (काफ़िरों) पर ग़ालिब रहेंगें और अगर तुम लोगों में से (ऐसे) एक हज़ार होगें तो ख़ुदा के हुक्म से दो हज़ार (काफ़िरों) पर ग़ालिब रहेंगे और (जंग की तकलीफों को) झेल जाने वालों का ख़ुदा साथी है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अब अल्लाह ने (ऐ ईमान वालो!) तुम्हारी कमज़ोरी को देखते हुए अपनी कृपा से तुम्हारे बोझ को हल्का कर दिया है। अब उसने अनिवार्य किया है कि तुममें से एक व्यक्ति को दस के बजाय दो काफिरों के सामने खड़ा होना है। अतः यदि तुममें से सौ लोग काफ़िरों से लड़ने में धैर्य रखने वाले हों, तो दो सौ पर विजय प्राप्त करेंगे। और अगर तुममें से एक हज़ार धैर्य रखने वाले व्यक्ति हों, तो अल्लाह की अनुमति से दो हज़ार काफ़िरों पर विजयी रहेंगे। तथा अल्लाह समर्थन और विजय के साथ धैर्यवान मोमिनों के संग है। |
| Ayah 67 |
| عَرَبِي | ما كانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَكونَ لَهُ أَسرىٰ حَتّىٰ يُثخِنَ فِي الأَرضِ ۚ تُريدونَ عَرَضَ الدُّنيا وَاللَّهُ يُريدُ الآخِرَةَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَزيزٌ حَكيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ma kana linabiyyin an yakoona lahu asra hatta yuthkhina fee alardi tureedoona AAarada alddunya waAllahu yureedu alakhirata waAllahu AAazeezun hakeemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Maa kaana li Nabiyyin ai yakoona lahooo asraa hatta yuskhina fil ard; tureedoona aradad dunyaa wallaahu yureedul Aakhirah; wallaahu 'Azeezun Hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. Ye desire the lure of this world and Allah desireth (for you) the Hereafter, and Allah is Mighty, Wise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | It is not for a prophet to have captives [of war] until he inflicts a massacre [upon Allah 's enemies] in the land. Some Muslims desire the commodities of this world, but Allah desires [for you] the Hereafter. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | It is not right for a prophet to take captives from the disbelievers who fight against him until he kills many of them, so that this makes other disbelievers fear fighting him. By taking captives from Badr, O believers, you want to receive ransom, but Allah wants the Afterlife for you, which is gained by making religion victorious and powerful. Allah is Mighty in His essence, His attributes and in His domination. Nothing can overcome Him. He is Wise in His decree and sacred laws. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | किसी नबी के लिए यह उचित नहीं कि उसके पास क़ैदी हो यहाँ तक की वह धरती में रक्तपात करे। तुम लोग संसार की सामग्री चाहते हो, जबकि अल्लाह आख़िरत चाहता है। अल्लाह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | कोई नबी जब कि रूए ज़मीन पर (काफिरों का) खून न बहाए उसके यहाँ कैदियों का रहना मुनासिब नहीं तुम लोग तो दुनिया के साज़ो सामान के ख्वाहॉ (चाहने वाले) हो औॅर ख़ुदा (तुम्हारे लिए) आख़िरत की (भलाई) का ख्वाहॉ है और ख़ुदा ज़बरदस्त हिकमत वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | किसी नबी के लिए उचित नहीं है कि उसके पास उन काफ़िरों में से बंदी हों, जो उससे लड़ रहे हैं, यहाँ तक कि उनका अच्छी तरह खून बहा ले; ताकि उनके दिलों में भय दाखिल हो जाए, फिर वे दोबारा युद्ध करने की हिम्मत न करें। (ऐ ईमान वालो!) तुम बद्र में दुश्मनों को बंदी बनाकर फिरौती लेना चाहते हो और अल्लाह आख़िरत चाहता है, जिसे धर्म की जीत और उसके प्रभुत्व से प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। अल्लाह अपने अस्तित्व, अपने गुणों और शक्ति में प्रभुत्वशाली है, उसपर किसी का ज़ोर नहीं चलता। वह अपनी नियति और शरीयत में हिकमत वाला है। |
| Ayah 68 |
| عَرَبِي | لَولا كِتابٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُم فيما أَخَذتُم عَذابٌ عَظيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Lawla kitabun mina Allahi sabaqa lamassakum feema akhathtum AAathabun AAatheemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Law laa Kitaabum minal laahi sabaqa lamassakum fee maaa akhaztum 'azaabun 'azeem |
| English (Pickthall) | Had it not been for an ordinance of Allah which had gone before, an awful doom had come upon you on account of what ye took. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Had it not been for a previous ordainment from Allah, a severe penalty would have reached you for the (ransom) that ye took. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | If not for a decree from Allah that preceded, you would have been touched for what you took by a great punishment. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Were it not for a decree from Allah – in which it had already been decided that He would make the gains of war lawful for you and permit you to ransom captives – a severe punishment from Allah would have afflicted you because of the gains of war and ransom you took from the captives at Badr before the coming of revelation from Allah that permitted it. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यदि अल्लाह का लिखा पहले से मौजूद न होता, तो जो कुछ नीति तुमने अपनाई है उसपर तुम्हें कोई बड़ी यातना आ लेती |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और अगर ख़ुदा की तरफ से पहले ही (उसकी) माफी का हुक्म आ चुका होता तो तुमने जो (बदर के क़ैदियों के छोड़ देने के बदले) फिदिया लिया था |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यदि अल्लाह की ओर से यह लिखी हुई बात न होती, जिसमें उसने पूर्वनियत और फ़ैसला कर दिया था कि उसने तुम्हारे लिए ग़नीमत का धन हलाल कर दिया तथा बंदियों को फिरौती के बदले छोड़ना अनुमेय कर दिया, तो अल्लाह की ओर से उसकी अनुमति के बारे में वह़्य उतरने से पहले, तुम्हारे ग़नीमत का धन और क़ैदियों से फिरौती लेने के कारण, तुम्हें अल्लाह की ओर से सख़्त यातना पहुँचती। |
| Ayah 69 |
| عَرَبِي | فَكُلوا مِمّا غَنِمتُم حَلالًا طَيِّبًا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fakuloo mimma ghanimtum halalan tayyiban waittaqoo Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fakuloo mimaa ghanimtum halaalan taiyibaa; watta qullaah; innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem |
| English (Pickthall) | Now enjoy what ye have won, as lawful and good, and keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good: but fear Allah: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So consume what you have taken of war booty [as being] lawful and good, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So consume, O believers, of the gains of war that you take from the disbelievers because it is lawful for you. Be mindful of Allah by following His instructions and avoiding His prohibitions. Allah is Forgiving and Compassionate towards His believing servants. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः जो कुछ ग़नीमत का माल तुमने प्राप्त किया है, उसे वैध-पवित्र समझकर खाओ और अल्लाह का डर रखो। निश्चय ही अल्लाह बड़ा क्षमाशील, अत्यन्त दयावान है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | उसकी सज़ा में तुम पर बड़ा अज़ाब नाज़िल होकर रहता तो (ख़ैर जो हुआ सो हुआ) अब तुमने जो माल ग़नीमत हासिल किया है उसे खाओ (और तुम्हारे लिए) हलाल तय्यब है और ख़ुदा से डरते रहो बेशक ख़ुदा बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अतः (ऐ ईमान वालो!) तुमने काफ़िरों से जो ग़नीमत का धन प्राप्त किया है, उसे खाओ। वह तुम्हारे लिए हलाल है। तथा अल्लाह से, उसके आदेशों का पालन करके और उसकी मना की हुई चीज़ों से दूर रहकर, डरो। निःसंदेह अल्लाह अपने ईमान वाले बंदों को बहुत क्षमा करने वाला, उनपर अत्यंत दया करने वाला है। |

| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِمَن في أَيديكُم مِنَ الأَسرىٰ إِن يَعلَمِ اللَّهُ في قُلوبِكُم خَيرًا يُؤتِكُم خَيرًا مِمّا أُخِذَ مِنكُم وَيَغفِر لَكُم ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu qul liman fee aydeekum mina alasra in yaAAlami Allahu fee quloobikum khayran yutikum khayran mimma okhitha minkum wayaghfir lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu qul liman feee aideekum minal asraaa iny-ya lamillaahu fee quloobikum khairany yu'tikum khayram mimmaaa ukhiza minkum wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem |
| English (Pickthall) | O Prophet! Say unto those captives who are in your hands: If Allah knoweth any good in your hearts He will give you better than that which hath been taken from you, and will forgive you. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O Prophet! say to those who are captives in your hands: "If Allah findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." |

| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Prophet, say to those idolater captives who have come into your hands after the Battle of Badr: If Allah knows of any good intentions in your hearts, He will give you something better than the ransom that was taken from you; so do not grieve over what was taken from you. Allah will also forgive your sins because He is Forgiving and Compassionate to those of His servants who repent to Him. This promise of Allah was fullfilled for ‘Abbās, the uncle of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and for others like him who accepted Islam after being captured. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ नबी! जो क़ैदी तुम्हारे क़ब्जें में है, उनसे कह दो, "यदि अल्लाह ने यह जान लिया कि तुम्हारे दिलों में कुछ भलाई है तो वह तुम्हें उससे कहीं उत्तम प्रदान करेगा, जो तुम से छिन गया है और तुम्हें क्षमा कर देगा। और अल्लाह अत्यन्त क्षमाशील, दयावान है।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ रसूल जो कैदी तुम्हारे कब्जे में है उनसे कह दो कि अगर तुम्हारे दिलों में नेकी देखेगा तो जो (माल) तुम से छीन लिया गया है उससे कहीं बेहतर तुम्हें अता फरमाएगा और तुम्हें बख्श भी देगा और ख़ुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ नबी! उन लोगों से कहो जो बहुदेववादियों के बंदियों में से तुम्हारे हाथों में आए हैं, जिन्हें तुमने बद्र के दिन क़ैद कर लिया था : अगर अल्लाह तुम्हारे दिलों में नेकी की मंशा और अच्छा इरादा जान लेगा, तो तुम्हें उससे बेहतर देगा जो तुमसे छुड़ौती में लिया गया है। इसलिए जो कुछ तुमसे लिया गया है, उसपर शोक मत करो। तथा वह तुम्हारे गुनाहों को क्षमा कर देगा। अल्लाह अपने तौबा करने वाले बंदों को बहुत क्षमा करने वाला, उनपर अत्यंत दया करने वाला है। वास्तव में, नबी सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम के चाचा अब्बास रज़ियल्लाहु अन्हु और उनके अलावा अन्य मुसलमान होने वालों के संबंध में अल्लाह का यह वादा पूरा हो गया। |
| Ayah 71 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِن يُريدوا خِيانَتَكَ فَقَد خانُوا اللَّهَ مِن قَبلُ فَأَمكَنَ مِنهُم ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَليمٌ حَكيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wain yureedoo khiyanataka faqad khanoo Allaha min qablu faamkana minhum waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa iny-yureedoo khiyaa nataka faqad khaanullaaha min qablu fa amkana minhum; wallaahu 'aleemum Hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | And if they would betray thee, they betrayed Allah before, and He gave (thee) power over them. Allah is Knower, Wise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But if they have treacherous designs against thee, (O Messenger!), they have already been in treason against Allah, and so hath He given (thee) power over them. And Allah so He Who hath (full) knowledge and wisdom. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But if they intend to betray you - then they have already betrayed Allah before, and He empowered [you] over them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If their goal, O Muhammad, is to betray you by the words they utter, then they have betrayed Allah previously and Allah gave you victory over them when some of them were killed and others were taken captive. They should therefore wait for something similar to happen if they return to their evil. Allah knows about His creation and what is best for them, and He is Wise in His handling of affairs. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | किन्तुम यदि वे तुम्हारे साथ विश्वासघात करना चाहेंगे, तो इससे पहले वे अल्लाह के साथ विश्वासघात कर चुके है। तो उसने तुम्हें उनपर अधिकार दे दिया। अल्लाह सब कुछ जाननेवाला, बड़ा तत्वदर्शी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और अगर ये लोग तुमसे फरेब करना चाहते है तो ख़ुदा से पहले ही फरेब कर चुके हैं तो (उसकी सज़ा में) ख़ुदा ने उन पर तुम्हें क़ाबू दे दिया और ख़ुदा तो बड़ा वाक़िफकार हिकमत वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और अगर वे (ऐ मुहम्मद!) आपसे जो कुछ कहते हैं, उसके द्वारा आपके साथ विश्वासघात करना चाहें, तो निश्चय वे इससे पहले अल्लाह के साथ विश्वासघात कर चुके हैं, और अल्लाह ने उनके विरुद्ध आपकी सहायता की। चुनाँचे उनमें से कुछ लोग मारे गए और कुछ लोग क़ैद हुए। अब अगर वे दोबारा ऐसी हरकत करें, तो उन्हें इसी तरह की सज़ा की प्रतीक्षा करनी चाहिए। अल्लाह अपनी सृष्टि और उसके हितों से अवगत है, अपने प्रबंधन में हिकमत वाला है। |
| Ayah 72 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنَّ الَّذينَ آمَنوا وَهاجَروا وَجاهَدوا بِأَموالِهِم وَأَنفُسِهِم في سَبيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذينَ آوَوا وَنَصَروا أُولٰئِكَ بَعضُهُم أَولِياءُ بَعضٍ ۚ وَالَّذينَ آمَنوا وَلَم يُهاجِروا ما لَكُم مِن وَلايَتِهِم مِن شَيءٍ حَتّىٰ يُهاجِروا ۚ وَإِنِ استَنصَروكُم فِي الدّينِ فَعَلَيكُمُ النَّصرُ إِلّا عَلىٰ قَومٍ بَينَكُم وَبَينَهُم ميثاقٌ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ بَصيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna allatheena amanoo wahajaroo wajahadoo biamwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi waallatheena awaw wanasaroo olaika baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waallatheena amanoo walam yuhajiroo ma lakum min walayatihim min shayin hatta yuhajiroo waini istansarookum fee alddeeni faAAalaykumu alnnasru illa AAala qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innal lazeena aamanoo wa haajaroo wa jaahadoo bi amwaalihim wa anfusihim fee sabeelil laahi wallazeena aawaw wa nasarooo ulaaa'ika ba'duhum awliyaaa'u ba'd; wallazeena aamanoo wa lam yuhaajiroo maa lakum minw walaayatihim min shai'in hatta yuhaajiroo; wa inistan sarookum fid deeni fa'alaiku munnasru illaa 'alaa qawmim bainakum wa bainahum meesaaq; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseer |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! those who believed and left their homes and strove with their wealth and their lives for the cause of Allah, and those who took them in and helped them: these are protecting friends one of another. And those who believed but did not leave their homes, ye have no duty to protect them till they leave their homes; but if they seek help from you in the matter of religion then it is your duty to help (them) except against a folk between whom and you there is a treaty. Allah is Seer of what ye do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, those who have believed and emigrated and fought with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - they are allies of one another. But those who believed and did not emigrate - for you there is no guardianship of them until they emigrate. And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help, except against a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty. And Allah is Seeing of what you do. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who believed in Allah, accepted His Messenger, practised His sacred law, emigrated from the land of disbelief to the land of Islam, or to a place in which they can worship Allah safely, and strived in Allah’s path by spending their wealth and giving their lives to raise Allah’s Word, and those who hosted them in their homes and supported them – those emigrants and those locals who supported them are friends of one another in terms of providing support and assistance. As for those who believed in Allah but did not emigrate from the land of disbelief to the land of Islam, you have no obligation, O believers, to support and protect them until they emigrate in Allah’s path. If the disbelievers oppress them and they seek your help, then help them against their enemies, unless there is a pact between you and their enemy that is still in place. Allah sees what you do. No action of yours is hidden from Him and He will repay you for them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने हिजरत की और अल्लाह के मार्ग में अपने मालों और अपनी जानों के साथ जिहाद किया और जिन लोगों ने उन्हें शरण दी और सहायता की, वही लोग परस्पर एक-दूसरे के संरक्षक मित्र है। रहे वे लोग जो ईमान लाए, किन्तु उन्होंने हिजरत नहीं की, उनसे तुम्हारा संरक्षण और मित्रता का कोई सम्बन्ध नहीं है, जब तक कि वे हिजरत न करें, किन्तु यदि वे धर्म के मामले में तुमसे सहायता माँगे तो तुमपर अनिवार्य है कि सहायता करो, सिवाय इसके कि सहायता किसी ऐसी क़ौम के मुक़ाबले में हो जिससे तुम्हारी कोई संधि हो। तुम जो कुछ करते हो अल्लाह उसे देखता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जिन लोगों ने ईमान क़ुबूल किया और हिजरत की और अपने अपने जान माल से ख़ुदा की राह में जिहाद किया और जिन लोगों ने (हिजरत करने वालों को जगह दी और हर (तरह) उनकी ख़बर गीरी (मदद) की यही लोग एक दूसरे के (बाहम) सरपरस्त दोस्त हैं और जिन लोगों ने ईमान क़ुबूल किया और हिजरत नहीं की तो तुम लोगों को उनकी सरपरस्ती से कुछ सरोकार नहीं-यहाँ तक कि वह हिजरत एख्तियार करें और (हॉ) मगर दीनी अम्र में तुम से मदद के ख्वाहॉ हो तो तुम पर (उनकी मदद करना लाज़िम व वाजिब है मगर उन लोगों के मुक़ाबले में (नहीं) जिनमें और तुममें बाहम (सुलह का) एहदो पैमान है और जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा (सबको) देख रहा है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निःसंदेह जो लोग अल्लाह पर ईमान लाए, उसके रसूल की पुष्टि की, उसकी शरीयत पर अमल किया तथा कुफ़्र के देश से इस्लाम के देश की ओर या ऐसी जगह की ओर हिजरत की जहाँ निर्भय होकर अल्लाह की इबादत कर सकें, तथा अल्लाह की बात को सर्वोच्च करने के लिए अपनी जान और माल के साथ जिहाद किया, तथा वे लोग जिन्होंने उनको अपने घरों में ठहराया और उनकी सहायता की - वे मुहाजिर लोग और उनकी मदद करने वाले मदीना के वासी मदद और सहयोग में एक-दूसरे के दोस्त हैं। और जो लोग अल्लाह पर ईमान लाए, परंतु उन्होंने कुफ़्र के देश से इस्लाम के देश की ओर हिजरत नहीं की, तो (ऐ मोमिनो!) तुमपर उनकी मदद करना और उनकी रक्षा करना ज़रूरी नहीं है यहाँ तक कि वे अल्लाह के मार्ग में हिजरत करें। अगर काफ़िर लोग उनपर अत्याचार करें और वे तुमसे मदद की गुहार लगाएँ, तो उनके दुश्मन के विरुद्ध उनकी सहायता करो, सिवाय इसके कि तुम्हारे और उनके दुश्मनों (काफ़िरों) के बीच कोई संधि हो जिसे उन्होंने भंग न किया हो। तथा तुम जो कुछ कर रहे हो, अल्लाह उसे देख रहा है। उससे तुम्हारा कोई कार्य छिपा नहीं है, और वह तुम्हें उसका बदला देगा। |
| Ayah 73 |
| عَرَبِي | وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا بَعضُهُم أَولِياءُ بَعضٍ ۚ إِلّا تَفعَلوهُ تَكُن فِتنَةٌ فِي الأَرضِ وَفَسادٌ كَبيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waallatheena kafaroo baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin illa tafAAaloohu takun fitnatun fee alardi wafasadun kabeerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wallazeena kafaroo ba'duhum awliyaaa'u ba'd; illaa taf'aloohu takun fitnatun fil ardi wa fasaadun kabeer |
| English (Pickthall) | And those who disbelieve are protectors one of another - If ye do not so, there will be confusion in the land, and great corruption. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And those who disbelieved are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be fitnah on earth and great corruption. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The disbelievers are united in their disbelief and they therefore become friends of one another. A believer should not become friends with them. If you do not become friends with the believers and oppose the disbelievers, the believers will suffer weakness as a result of a lack of support and there will be great corruption on earth as people will be prevented from Allah’s path. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जो इनकार करनेवाले लोग है, वे आपस में एक-दूसरे के मित्र और सहायक है। यदि तुम ऐसा नहीं करोगे तो धरती में फ़ितना और बड़ा फ़साद फैलेगा |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जो लोग काफ़िर हैं वह भी (बाहम) एक दूसरे के सरपरस्त हैं अगर तुम (इस तरह) वायदा न करोगे तो रूए ज़मीन पर फ़ितना (फ़साद) बरपा हो जाएगा और बड़ा फ़साद होगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह का इनकार किया, उन्हें यही इनकार एक-दूसरे से जोड़े रखता है। इसलिए वे एक दूसरे की मदद करते हैं। अतः किसी मोमिन को उनसे दोस्ती नहीं रखनी चाहिए। अगर तुम मोमिनों से दोस्ती और काफ़िरों से दुश्मनी नहीं रखोगे, तो ईमान वालों के लिए बड़ा फ़ितना (परीक्षण) होगा। क्योंकि उन्हें उनका कोई इस्लामी भाई मदद करने के लिए नहीं मिलेगा। तथा अल्लाह की राह से रोकने की वजह से धरती पर बहुत बड़ा बिगाड़ पैदा होगा। |
| Ayah 74 |
| عَرَبِي | وَالَّذينَ آمَنوا وَهاجَروا وَجاهَدوا في سَبيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذينَ آوَوا وَنَصَروا أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُؤمِنونَ حَقًّا ۚ لَهُم مَغفِرَةٌ وَرِزقٌ كَريمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waallatheena amanoo wahajaroo wajahadoo fee sabeeli Allahi waallatheena awaw wanasaroo olaika humu almuminoona haqqan lahum maghfiratun warizqun kareemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wallazeena aamanoo wa haajaroo wa jaahadoo fee sabeelil laahi wallazeena aawaw wa nasarooo ulaaa'ika humul mu'minoona haqqaa; lahum maghfiratunw wa rizqun kareem |
| English (Pickthall) | Those who believed and left their homes and strove for the cause of Allah, and those who took them in and helped them - these are the believers in truth. For them is pardon, and bountiful provision. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of Allah as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) in very truth the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But those who have believed and emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - it is they who are the believers, truly. For them is forgiveness and noble provision. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who believed in Allah and emigrated in His path, and those who provided shelter and assistance to the emigrants in Allah’s path, they are the ones who can be truly described as having faith. They will receive Allah’s forgiveness for their sins and a generous reward: Paradise. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने हिजरत की और अल्लाह के मार्ग में जिहाद किया और जिन लोगों ने उन्हें शरण दी और सहायता की वही सच्चे मोमिन हैं। उनके क्षमा और सम्मानित - उत्तम आजीविका है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जिन लोगों ने ईमान क़ुबूल किया और हिजरत की और ख़ुदा की राह में लड़े भिड़े और जिन लोगों ने (ऐसे नाज़ुक वक्त में मुहाजिरीन को जगह ही और उनकी हर तरह ख़बरगीरी (मदद) की यही लोग सच्चे ईमानदार हैं उन्हीं के वास्ते मग़फिरत और इज्ज़त व आबरु वाली रोज़ी है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथ जो लोग अल्लाह पर ईमान लाए और उसके मार्ग में हिजरत की, तथा जिन्होंने अल्लाह के मार्ग में हिजरत करने वालों को शरण दी और उनकी मदद की, वही लोग सच्चे ईमान वाले हैं। अल्लाह की ओर से उनका प्रतिफल उनके पापों की क्षमा, और उसकी ओर से एक उदार जीविका है, और वह जन्नत है। |
| Ayah 75 |
| عَرَبِي | وَالَّذينَ آمَنوا مِن بَعدُ وَهاجَروا وَجاهَدوا مَعَكُم فَأُولٰئِكَ مِنكُم ۚ وَأُولُو الأَرحامِ بَعضُهُم أَولىٰ بِبَعضٍ في كِتابِ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ عَليمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waallatheena amanoo min baAAdu wahajaroo wajahadoo maAAakum faolaika minkum waoloo alarhami baAAduhum awla bibaAAdin fee kitabi Allahi inna Allaha bikulli shayin AAaleemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wallazeena aamanoo mim ba'du wa haajaroo wa jaahadoo ma;akum faulaaa'ika minkum; wa ulul arhaami baduhum awlaa biba'din fee Kitaabil laah; innal laaha bikulli shai'in 'Aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | And those who afterwards believed and left their homes and strove along with you, they are of you; and those who are akin are nearer one to another in the ordinance of Allah. Lo! Allah is Knower of all things. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And those who accept Faith subsequently, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith in your company,- they are of you. But kindred by blood have prior rights against each other in the Book of Allah. Verily Allah is well-acquainted with all things. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And those who believed after [the initial emigration] and emigrated and fought with you - they are of you. But those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who believed and accepted the faith amongst the earlier Emigrants and Helpers, who emigrated from the land of disbelief to the land of Islam, and strived in Allah’s path so that Allah’s Word may be the highest and the word of the disbelievers may be the lowest – they are part of you, O believers. They will have the same rights and obligations as you have. Under Allah’s final sacred laws of inheritance, family members are closer to one another than the previous Islamic system of inheritance based on faith and emigration. Allah knows everything. Nothing is hidden from Him. He knows what is best for His servants and legislates what is in their well being. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जो लोग बाद में ईमान लाए और उन्होंने हिजरत की और तुम्हारे साथ मिलकर जिहाद किया तो ऐसे लोग भी तुम में ही से हैं। किन्तु अल्लाह की किताब मे ख़ून के रिश्तेदार एक-दूसरे के ज़्यादा हक़दार है। निश्चय ही अल्लाह को हर चीज़ का ज्ञान है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जिन लोगों ने (सुलह हुदैबिया के) बाद ईमान क़ुबूल किया और हिजरत की और तुम्हारे साथ मिलकर जिहाद किया वह लोग भी तुम्हीं में से हैं और साहबाने क़राबत ख़ुदा की किताब में बाहम एक दूसरे के (बनिस्बत औरों के) ज्यादा हक़दार हैं बेशक ख़ुदा हर चीज़ से ख़ूब वाक़िफ हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जो लोग, सबसे पहले ईमान लाने वाले मुहाजिरों और अनसारियों के बाद ईमान लाए, तथा उन्होंने कुफ़्र के देश से इस्लाम के देश की ओर हिजरत की और अल्लाह के मार्ग में जिहाद किया, ताकि अल्लाह की बात सर्वोच्च हो और काफ़िरों की बात नीची, तो वे लोग (ऐ मोमिनो!) तुम ही में से हैं। उनके लिए वही अधिकार हैं, जो तुम्हारे लिए हैं तथा उनके वही कर्तव्य (और दायित्व) हैं, जो तुम्हारे हैं। तथा अल्लाह के निर्णय में रिश्तेदारी के लोग, आपस में एक-दूसरे के वारिस होने के, पहले से मौजूद ईमान और हिजरत के आधार पर वारिस होने से अधिक हक़दार हैं। निःसंदेह अल्लाह हर चीज़ को जानने वाला है। उससे कोई चीज़ छिपी नहीं है। अतः वह जानता है कि उसके बंदों के हित में क्या है, इसलिए वह उसे उनके लिए धर्मसंगत कर देता है। |
