| عَرَبِي | إِنَّ فِي السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ لَآياتٍ لِلمُؤمِنينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna fee alssamawati waalardi laayatin lilmumineena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innaa fis samaawaati wal ardi la Aayaatil lilmu'mineen |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! in the heavens and the earth are portents for believers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe. |

| عَرَبِي | وَفي خَلقِكُم وَما يَبُثُّ مِن دابَّةٍ آياتٌ لِقَومٍ يوقِنونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wafee khalqikum wama yabuththu min dabbatin ayatun liqawmin yooqinoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa fee khalaqikum wa maa yabussu min daaabbatin Aayaatul liqawminy-yooqinoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And in your creation, and all the beasts that He scattereth in the earth, are portents for a folk whose faith is sure. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And in your creation, O people, from a sperm-drop, then from a lump, and then from a clot, and in the creation of the creatures Allah has spread out on the face of this earth are proof of His oneness, for people who have conviction that it is Allah who is the Creator. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ लोगों!) तुम्हें वीर्य से, फिर जमे हुए रक्त से, फिर मांस के टुकड़े से पैदा करने में, तथा धरती पर चलने वाले अल्लाह के फैलाए हुए जानवरों की रचना में, उन लोगों के लिए अल्लाह की एकता (एकेश्वरवाद) की बहुत-सी निशानियाँ हैं, जो इस बात पर विश्वास करते हैं कि अल्लाह ही सृष्टिकर्ता है। |

| عَرَبِي | وَاختِلافِ اللَّيلِ وَالنَّهارِ وَما أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّماءِ مِن رِزقٍ فَأَحيا بِهِ الأَرضَ بَعدَ مَوتِها وَتَصريفِ الرِّياحِ آياتٌ لِقَومٍ يَعقِلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahari wama anzala Allahu mina alssamai min rizqin faahya bihi alarda baAAda mawtiha watasreefi alrriyahi ayatun liqawmin yaAAqiloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wakhtilaafil laili wannahaari wa maaa anzalal laahu minas samaaa'i mir rizqin fa ahyaa bihil arda ba'da mawtihaa wa tasreefir riyaahi Aayaatul liqawminy ya'qiloon |
| English (Pickthall) | And the difference of night and day and the provision that Allah sendeth down from the sky and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death, and the ordering of the winds, are portents for a people who have sense. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And in the alternation of Night and Day, and the fact that Allah sends down Sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds,- are Signs for those that are wise. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And [in] the alternation of night and day and [in] what Allah sends down from the sky of provision and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and [in His] directing of the winds are signs for a people who reason. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And in the alteration of the night and day, and the rainwater Allah sent down from the sky, then He gave life to the earth through it by making plants grow in it after it was dead without any plants, and in the alteration of the winds by bringing them from one direction at times and other directions at other times for your benefit, are proof for people who understand. So they use them as proof of Allah’s oneness, His power to resurrect and His power over everything. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और रात दिन के आने जाने में और ख़ुदा ने आसमान से जो (ज़रिया) रिज़क (पानी) नाज़िल फरमाया फिर उससे ज़मीन को उसके मर जाने के बाद ज़िन्दा किया (उसमें) और हवाओं फेर बदल में अक्लमन्द लोगों के लिए बहुत सी निशानियाँ हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा रात और दिन के आने-जाने में, और उस बारिश (पानी) में जो अल्लाह ने आकाश से उतारा, फिर उसके द्वारा धरती को, उसमें पेड़-पौधे उगाकर, पुनर्जीवित कर दिया, जबकि वह मृत हो चुकी थी उसमें एक पौधा भी नहीं था। तथा हवाओं के फेरने में; तुम्हारे लाभ के लिए उन्हें कभी एक दिशा से लाकर, तो कभी दूसरी दिशा से चलाकर; इन सभी चीज़ों में ऐसे लोगों के लिए निशानियाँ हैं, जो बुद्धि से काम लेते हैं। चुनाँचे वे उनसे यह निष्कर्ष निकालते हैं कि अल्लाह एक है, मरणोपरांत पुनर्जीवित करने में सक्षम है और हर चीज़ पर शक्ति रखता है। |

| عَرَبِي | تِلكَ آياتُ اللَّهِ نَتلوها عَلَيكَ بِالحَقِّ ۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَديثٍ بَعدَ اللَّهِ وَآياتِهِ يُؤمِنونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Tilka ayatu Allahi natlooha AAalayka bialhaqqi fabiayyi hadeethin baAAda Allahi waayatihi yuminoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Tilka Aayatul laahi natloohaa 'alika bilhaqq, fabiayyi hadeesim ba'dal laahi wa Aayaatihee yu'minoon |
| English (Pickthall) | These are the portents of Allah which We recite unto thee (Muhammad) with truth. Then in what fact, after Allah and His portents, will they believe? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | These verses and proof I read to you in truth, O Messenger. So if they do not believe in the speech of Allah which He revealed to His servant and in His proof, which speech will they believe in after it and which proof after it will they accept? |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ये अल्लाह की आयतें हैं, हम उन्हें हक़ के साथ तुमको सुना रहे हैं। अब आख़िर अल्लाह और उसकी आयतों के पश्चात और कौन-सी बात है जिसपर वे ईमान लाएँगे? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये ख़ुदा की आयतें हैं जिनको हम ठीक (ठीक) तुम्हारे सामने पढ़ते हैं तो ख़ुदा और उसकी आयतों के बाद कौन सी बात होगी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | इन निशानियों और प्रमाणों को हम (ऐ रसूल!) आपको सत्य के साथ सुना रहे हैं। अब अगर वे अल्लाह की अपने बंदे पर उतारी हुई वाणी और उसके प्रमाणों (तर्कों) पर ईमान नहीं लाते, तो इसके बाद वे किस बात पर ईमान लाएँगे और इसके बाद वे किन तर्कों को मानेंगे? |

| عَرَبِي | وَيلٌ لِكُلِّ أَفّاكٍ أَثيمٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waylun likulli affakin atheemin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wailul likulli affaakin aseem |
| English (Pickthall) | Woe unto each sinful liar, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Woe to each sinful dealer in Falsehoods: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Woe to every sinful liar |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Allah’s punishment and destruction is for every liar who is extremely sinful. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जिस पर ये लोग ईमान लाएंगे हर झूठे गुनाहगार पर अफसोस है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अल्लाह की यातना और विनाश है हर उस व्यक्ति के लिए, जो बहुत झूठ बोलने वाला और बहुत पाप करने वाला है। |
| Ayah 8 |
| عَرَبِي | يَسمَعُ آياتِ اللَّهِ تُتلىٰ عَلَيهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُستَكبِرًا كَأَن لَم يَسمَعها ۖ فَبَشِّرهُ بِعَذابٍ أَليمٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | YasmaAAu ayati Allahi tutla AAalayhi thumma yusirru mustakbiran kaan lam yasmaAAha fabashshirhu biAAathabin aleemin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yasma'u Aayaatil laahi tutlaa 'alaihi summa yusirru mustakbiran ka-al lam yasma'haa fabashshirhu bi'azaabin aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | Who heareth the revelations of Allah recited unto him, and then continueth in pride as though he heard them not. Give him tidings of a painful doom. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | He hears the Signs of Allah rehearsed to him, yet is obstinate and lofty, as if he had not heard them: then announce to him a Penalty Grievous! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | This disbeliever listens to the verses of Allah in the Qur’ān being recited to him, then he continues in the disbelief and sins he is in, arrogant in himself to following the truth, as though he has not heard these verses being read to him. So inform him, O Messenger, of what he will dislike in the Hereafter, which is a painful punishment that awaits him there. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जो अल्लाह की उन आयतों को सुनता है जो उसे पढ़कर सुनाई जाती है। फिर घमंड के साथ अपनी (इनकार की) नीति पर अड़ा रहता है मानो उसने उनको सुना ही नहीं। अतः उसको दुखद यातना की शुभ सूचना दे दो |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | कि ख़ुदा की आयतें उसके सामने पढ़ी जाती हैं और वह सुनता भी है फिर ग़ुरूर से (कुफ़्र पर) अड़ा रहता है गोया उसने उन आयतों को सुना ही नहीं तो (ऐ रसूल) तुम उसे दर्दनाक अज़ाब की ख़ुशख़बरी दे दो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह काफ़िर क़ुरआन में अल्लाह की उन आयतों को सुनता है, जो उसके सामने पढ़ी जाती हैं, फिर वह अपने अभिमान के कारण सत्य का पालन करने से उपेक्षा करते हुए, अपने कुफ़्र और पाप की गतिविधि को जारी रखता है। मानो कि उसने उन आयतों को सुना ही नहीं, जो उसके सामने पढ़ी जाती हैं। तो (ऐ रसूल!) आप उसे आख़िरत में एक बुरी चीज़ की सूचना दे दीजिए और वह एक दर्दनाक यातना है जो उसका इंतज़ार कर रही है। |
| Ayah 9 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذا عَلِمَ مِن آياتِنا شَيئًا اتَّخَذَها هُزُوًا ۚ أُولٰئِكَ لَهُم عَذابٌ مُهينٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waitha AAalima min ayatina shayan ittakhathaha huzuwan olaika lahum AAathabun muheenun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa izaa 'alima min Aayaatinaa shai'anit takhazahaa huzuwaa; ulaaa'ika lahum 'azaabum muheen |
| English (Pickthall) | And when he knoweth aught of Our revelations he maketh it a jest. For such there is a shameful doom. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And when he learns something of Our Signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating Penalty. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And when something of the Qur’ān reaches him, he takes it as a joke to mock. Those attributed with this quality of mocking the Qur’ān will have a disgraceful punishment on the day of judgment. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जब हमारी आयतों में से कोई बात वह जान लेता है तो वह उनका परिहास करता है, ऐसे लोगों के लिए रुसवा कर देनेवाली यातना है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जब हमारी आयतों में से किसी आयत पर वाक़िफ़ हो जाता है तो उसकी हँसी उड़ाता है ऐसे ही लोगों के वास्ते ज़लील करने वाला अज़ाब है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जब उसे क़ुरआन की कोई बात पहुँचती है, तो उसे उपहास का सामान बनाकर उसकी हँसी उड़ाता है। यही क़ुरआन की हँसी उड़ाने वाले लोग हैं, जिनके लिए क़ियामत के दिन अपमानजनक यातना है। |
| Ayah 10 |
| عَرَبِي | مِن وَرائِهِم جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَلا يُغني عَنهُم ما كَسَبوا شَيئًا وَلا مَا اتَّخَذوا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ أَولِياءَ ۖ وَلَهُم عَذابٌ عَظيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Min waraihim jahannamu wala yughnee AAanhum ma kasaboo shayan wala ma ittakhathoo min dooni Allahi awliyaa walahum AAathabun AAatheemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Minw waraaa'ihim Jahannamu wa laa yughnee 'anhum maa kasaboo shai'anw wa laa mat takhazoo min doonil laahi awliyaaa'a wa lahum 'azaabun 'azeem |
| English (Pickthall) | Beyond them there is hell, and that which they have earned will naught avail them, nor those whom they have chosen for protecting friends beside Allah. Theirs will be an awful doom. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | In front of them will be the fire of hell which awaits them in the Hereafter, and the actions they earned will not help them with Allah at all nor will the idols they took to worship besides Him remove anything from them. And they will have a great punishment on the day of judgment. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उनके आगे जहन्नम है, जो उन्होंने कमाया वह उनके कुछ काम न आएगा और न यही कि उन्होंने अल्लाह को छोड़कर अपने संरक्षक ठहरा रखे है। उनके लिए तो बड़ी यातना है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जहन्नुम तो उनके पीछे ही (पीछे) है और जो कुछ वह आमाल करते रहे न तो वही उनके कुछ काम आएँगे और न जिनको उन्होंने ख़ुदा को छोड़कर (अपने) सरपरस्त बनाए थे और उनके लिए बड़ा (सख्त) अज़ाब है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | उनके आगे जहन्नम की आग है, जो आख़िरत में उनकी प्रतीक्षा कर रही है। और उनके कमाए हुए धन उन्हें अल्लाह की यातना से बचाने में कुछ काम न आएँगे और न ही वे मूर्तियाँ उनके कुछ काम आ सकेंगी, जिनकी वे अल्लाह के सिवा पूजा किया करते थे। तथा उनके लिए क़ियामत के दिन बड़ी यातना है। |
| Ayah 11 |
| عَرَبِي | هٰذا هُدًى ۖ وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا بِآياتِ رَبِّهِم لَهُم عَذابٌ مِن رِجزٍ أَليمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Hatha hudan waallatheena kafaroo biayati rabbihim lahum AAathabun min rijzin aleemin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Haazaa hudanw wal lazeena kafaroo bi aayaati Rabbihim lahum 'azaabum mir rijzin aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | This is guidance. And those who disbelieve the revelations of their Lord, for them there is a painful doom of wrath. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | This is (true) Guidance and for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | This [Qur'an] is guidance. And those who have disbelieved in the verses of their Lord will have a painful punishment of foul nature. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | This book which I revealed to My Messenger Muhammad is a guide to the true path. And those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord which were revealed to His Messenger will have a bad, painful punishment. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह पुस्तक जो हमने अपने रसूल मुहम्मद पर उतारी है, सत्य का मार्ग दिखाती है। और जिन लोगों ने अपने पालनहार की उसके रसूल पर अवतरित आयतों का इनकार क्या, उनके लिए एक बुरी, पीड़ादायक यातना है। |

| عَرَبِي | ۞ اللَّهُ الَّذي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ البَحرَ لِتَجرِيَ الفُلكُ فيهِ بِأَمرِهِ وَلِتَبتَغوا مِن فَضلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُم تَشكُرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allahu allathee sakhkhara lakumu albahra litajriya alfulku feehi biamrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allaahul lazee sahkhara lakumul bahra litajriyal fulku feehi bi amrihee wa litabtaghoo min fadlihee wa la'allakum tashkuroon |
| English (Pickthall) | Allah it is Who hath made the sea of service unto you that the ships may run thereon by His command, and that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may be thankful; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, that ships may sail through it by His command, that ye may seek of his Bounty, and that ye may be grateful. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | It is Allah who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Allah alone is the one who subjugated for you, O people, the sea in which ships sail with His order, and so that you seek His grace through different lawful trades and so that you are thankful for Allah’s favours upon you. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अकेला अल्लाह ही है, जिसने (ऐ लोगो!) तुम्हारे लिए समुद्र को वशीभूत कर दिया, ताकि उसके आदेश से उसमें नौकाएँ चलें, और ताकि तुम विभिन्न प्रकार की वैध कमाइयों के द्वारा उसका अनुग्रह तलाश करो और ताकि तुम अपने ऊपर अल्लाह की नेमतों के प्रति आभार प्रकट करो। |

| عَرَبِي | وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَما فِي الأَرضِ جَميعًا مِنهُ ۚ إِنَّ في ذٰلِكَ لَآياتٍ لِقَومٍ يَتَفَكَّرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wasakhkhara lakum ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi jameeAAan minhu inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa sakhkhara lakum maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi jamee'am minh; inna feezaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy yatafakkaroon |
| English (Pickthall) | And hath made of service unto you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; it is all from Him. Lo! herein verily are portents for a people who reflect. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth - all from Him. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And He subjugated whatever is in the heavens such as the sun, moon and stars, and whatever is on earth such as rivers, trees, mountains and so forth. In subjugating that for you are proof of Allah’s power and His oneness for people who ponder over His signs and take heed from them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जो चीज़ें आकाशों में है और जो धरती में हैं, उसने उन सबको अपनी ओर से तुम्हारे काम में लगा रखा है। निश्चय ही इसमें उन लोगों के लिए निशानियाँ है जो सोच-विचार से काम लेते है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जो कुछ आसमानों में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है सबको अपने (हुक्म) से तुम्हारे काम में लगा दिया है जो लोग ग़ौर करते हैं उनके लिए इसमें (क़ुदरते ख़ुदा की) बहुत सी निशानियाँ हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा उस महिमावान (अल्लाह) ने, आकाशों में जो सूरज, चाँद और सितारे तथा धरती में जो नदियाँ, पेड़ और पहाड़ आदि हैं, उन सबको तुम्हारे लिए वशीभूत कर दिया है। ये सभी नेमतें उसी की कृपा और उपकार से हैं। निःसंदेह इन चीज़ों को तुम्हारे लिए वशीभूत करने में उन लोगों के लिए अल्लाह की शक्ति और एकता की निशानियाँ हैं, जो उसकी निशानियों में चिंतन-मनन करते हैं और उनसे इबरत हासिल करते हैं। |
| Ayah 14 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل لِلَّذينَ آمَنوا يَغفِروا لِلَّذينَ لا يَرجونَ أَيّامَ اللَّهِ لِيَجزِيَ قَومًا بِما كانوا يَكسِبونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul lillatheena amanoo yaghfiroo lillatheena la yarjoona ayyama Allahi liyajziya qawman bima kanoo yaksiboona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul lillazeena aamanoo yaghfiroo lillazeena laa yarjoona ayyaamal laahi liyajziya qawmam bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon |
| English (Pickthall) | Tell those who believe to forgive those who hope not for the days of Allah; in order that He may requite folk what they used to earn. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Tell those who believe, to forgive those who do not look forward to the Days of Allah: It is for Him to recompense (for good or ill) each People according to what they have earned. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, [O Muhammad], to those who have believed that they [should] forgive those who expect not the days of Allah so that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger, say to those who brought faith in Allah and accepted His messengers: “Forgive those who did bad to you from the disbelievers who do not hope for Allah’s reward nor do they fear His punishment, because Allah will reward both the patient believers and the transgressing disbelievers for the actions they used to earn in this world”. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल) मोमिनों से कह दो कि जो लोग ख़ुदा के दिनों की (जो जज़ा के लिए मुक़र्रर हैं) तवक्क़ो नहीं रखते उनसे दरगुज़र करें ताकि वह लोगों के आमाल का बदला दे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) आप अल्लाह पर ईमान लाने वालों तथा उसके रसूल को सच्चा मानने वालों से कह दें : तुम अपने संग बुरा व्यवहार करने वाले काफ़िरों को क्षमा कर दो, जो अल्लाह की नेमतों या उसके प्रकोपों की परवाह नहीं करते हैं। निश्चय ही अल्लाह धैर्य रखने वाले मोमिनों तथा अतिक्रमण करने वाले काफ़िरों में से प्रत्येक को, उनके उन कर्मों का बदला देगा, जो वे संसार में किया करते थे। |
| Ayah 15 |
| عَرَبِي | مَن عَمِلَ صالِحًا فَلِنَفسِهِ ۖ وَمَن أَساءَ فَعَلَيها ۖ ثُمَّ إِلىٰ رَبِّكُم تُرجَعونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Man AAamila salihan falinafsihi waman asaa faAAalayha thumma ila rabbikum turjaAAoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Maa 'amila saalihan falinafsihee wa man asaaa'a fa'alaihaa summa ilaa Rabbikum turja'oon |
| English (Pickthall) | Whoso doeth right, it is for his soul, and whoso doeth wrong, it is against it. And afterward unto your Lord ye will be brought back. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | If any one does a righteous deed, it ensures to the benefit of his own soul; if he does evil, it works against (his own soul). In the end will ye (all) be brought back to your Lord. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Whoever does a good deed - it is for himself; and whoever does evil - it is against the self. Then to your Lord you will be returned. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Whoever does good actions, the result of his good action is for him, And Allah is in no need of his actions. And whoever does bad, the result of his bad action is that he will be punished for it; Allah is not harmed by his bad. Then to Me alone you will be returned so I can reward everyone with what they deserve. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जो कुछ अच्छा कर्म करता है तो अपने ही लिए करेगा और जो कोई बुरा कर्म करता है तो उसका वबाल उसी पर होगा। फिर तुम अपने रब की ओर लौटाये जाओगे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जो शख़्श नेक काम करता है तो ख़ास अपने लिए और बुरा काम करेगा तो उस का वबाल उसी पर होगा फिर (आख़िर) तुम अपने परवरदिगार की तरफ लौटाए जाओगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिसने अच्छे कर्म किए, उसके अच्छे कर्म का परिणाम उसी के लिए है। और अल्लाह उसके अच्छे कर्म से बेनियाज़ है। और जिसने बुरे कर्म किए, तो उसके बुरे कर्म का परिणाम उसी को भुगतना पड़ेगा। उसका बुरा कर्म करना अल्लाह को कोई नुकसान नहीं पहुँचाएगा। फिर तुम आख़िरत में अकेले हमारी ही ओर वापस आओगे, ताकि हम हर एक को वह बदला दें, जिसका वह हक़दार है। |
| Ayah 16 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلَقَد آتَينا بَني إِسرائيلَ الكِتابَ وَالحُكمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقناهُم مِنَ الطَّيِّباتِ وَفَضَّلناهُم عَلَى العالَمينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walaqad atayna banee israeela alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata warazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahum AAala alAAalameena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laqad aatainaa Baneee Israaa'eelal Kitaaba walhukma wan Nubuwwata wa razaqnaahum minat taiyibaati wa faddalnaahum;alal 'aalameen |
| English (Pickthall) | And verily we gave the Children of Israel the Scripture and the Command and the Prophethood, and provided them with good things and favoured them above (all) peoples; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | I granted the Israelites the Torah and deciding between people according to its rule, and I made most of the prophets amongst them from the children of Abraham (peace be upon him), and I provided them with different types of good things and I granted them virtue over the worlds in their era. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | निश्चय ही हमने इसराईल की सन्तान को किताब और हुक्म और पैग़म्बरी प्रदान की थी। और हमने उन्हें पवित्र चीज़ो की रोज़ी दी और उन्हें सारे संसारवालों पर श्रेष्ठता प्रदान की |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और हमने बनी इसराईल को किताब (तौरेत) और हुकूमत और नबूवत अता की और उन्हें उम्दा उम्दा चीज़ें खाने को दीं और उनको सारे जहॉन पर फ़ज़ीलत दी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निःसंदेह हमने बनी इसराईल को तौरात और उसके नियमों के अनुसार लोगों के बीच निर्णय करने का आदेश दिया, तथा हमने उनमें से अधिकांश नबियों को इबराहीम अलैहिस्सलाम के वंश से बनाया, और हमने उन्हें अनेक प्रकार की अच्छी चीज़ों से जीविका प्रदान की, और उन्हें उनके समय के संसार वालों पर श्रेष्ठता प्रदान की। |
| Ayah 17 |
| عَرَبِي | وَآتَيناهُم بَيِّناتٍ مِنَ الأَمرِ ۖ فَمَا اختَلَفوا إِلّا مِن بَعدِ ما جاءَهُمُ العِلمُ بَغيًا بَينَهُم ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقضي بَينَهُم يَومَ القِيامَةِ فيما كانوا فيهِ يَختَلِفونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waataynahum bayyinatin mina alamri fama ikhtalafoo illa min baAAdi ma jaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum inna rabbaka yaqdee baynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa aatainaahum baiyinaatim minal amri famakh talafooo illaa mim ba'di maa jaaa'ahumul 'ilmu baghyam bainahum; inna Rabbaka yaqdee bainahum Yawmal Qiyaamati feemaa kaanoo feehi yakhtalifoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And gave them plain commandments. And they differed not until after the knowledge came unto them, through rivalry among themselves. Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And We granted them Clear Signs in affairs (of Religion): it was only after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms, through insolent envy among themselves. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment as to those matters in which they set up differences. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And I gave them proof which clarify truth from falsehood. But they did not differ except after the proof were established against them by sending My Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). And nothing lead them to this difference except some of them oppressing others, out of greed for leadership and fame. O Messenger, your Lord will decide between them on the day of judgment what they used to differ about in the world, so He will clearly show who was right and who was wrong. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और हमने उन्हें इस मामले के विषय में स्पष्ट निशानियाँ प्रदान कीं। फिर जो भी विभेद उन्होंने किया, वह इसके पश्चात ही किया कि उनके पास ज्ञान आ चुका था और इस कारण कि वे परस्पर एक-दूसरे पर ज़्यादती करना चाहते थे। निश्चय ही तुम्हारा रब क़ियामत के दिन उनके बीच उन चीज़ों के बारे में फ़ैसला कर देगा, जिनमें वे परस्पर विभेद करते रहे है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और उनको दीन की खुली हुई दलीलें इनायत की तो उन लोगों ने इल्म आ चुकने के बाद बस आपस की ज़िद में एक दूसरे से एख्तेलाफ़ किया कि ये लोग जिन बातों से एख्तेलाफ़ कर रहें हैं क़यामत के दिन तुम्हारा परवरदिगार उनमें फैसला कर देगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और हमने उन्हें ऐसे प्रमाण दिए, जो सत्य को असत्य से स्पष्ट करते हैं। लेकिन उन्होंने उस समय विभेद किया, जब हमारे पैग़ंबर मुहम्मद सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम के नबी बनाए जाने के द्वारा उनपर तर्क स्थापित हो चुका था। और उनके इस विभेद का एकमात्र कारण, वैभव और सरदारी के लोभ में, उनका एक-दूसरे पर अतिक्रमण करना था। निःसंदेह आपका पालनहार (ऐ रसूल!) क़ियामत के दिन उनके बीच उस चीज़ के बारे में फ़ैसला कर देगा, जिसमें वे दुनिया में मतभेद किया करते थे। अतः वह स्पष्ट कर देगा कि कौन सत्य पर था और कौन असत्य पर। |
| Ayah 18 |
| عَرَبِي | ثُمَّ جَعَلناكَ عَلىٰ شَريعَةٍ مِنَ الأَمرِ فَاتَّبِعها وَلا تَتَّبِع أَهواءَ الَّذينَ لا يَعلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thumma jaAAalnaka AAala shareeAAatin mina alamri faittabiAAha wala tattabiAA ahwaa allatheena la yaAAlamoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Summa ja'alnaaka 'alaa sharee'atim minal amri fattabi'haa wa laa tattabi'ahwaaa'al-lazeena laa ya'lamoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And now have We set thee (O Muhammad) on a clear road of (Our) commandment; so follow it, and follow not the whims of those who know not. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion: so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger, then I put you on an ordained way regarding the matter of Islam and which calls them to faith and good actions. So follow this way and do not follow the desires of those who do not know the truth, and so their desires lead them away from the truth. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | फिर हमने तुम्हें इस मामलें में एक खुले मार्ग (शरीअत) पर कर दिया। अतः तुम उसी पर चलो और उन लोगों की इच्छाओं का अनुपालन न करना जो जानते नहीं |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | फिर (ऐ रसूल) हमने तुमको दीन के खुले रास्ते पर क़ायम किया है तो इसी (रास्ते) पर चले जाओ और नादानों की ख्वाहिशो की पैरवी न करो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर हमने आपको अपने उस धर्म के एक स्पष्ट मार्ग, पद्वति और प्रणाली पर स्थापित कर दिया, जिसका आदेश हमने आपसे पूर्व अपने रसूलों को दिया था, जो ईमान और अच्छे कर्म की ओर बुलाता है। अतः आप इसी शरीयत का पालन करें और उन लोगों की इच्छाओं का पालन न करें, जो सत्य को नहीं जानते; क्योंकि उनकी इच्छाएँ सत्य से भ्रमित करने वाली हैं। |
| Ayah 19 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنَّهُم لَن يُغنوا عَنكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيئًا ۚ وَإِنَّ الظّالِمينَ بَعضُهُم أَولِياءُ بَعضٍ ۖ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ المُتَّقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Innahum lan yughnoo AAanka mina Allahi shayan wainna alththalimeena baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waAllahu waliyyu almuttaqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innahum lany yughnoo 'anka minal laahi shai'aa; wa innaz zaalimeena ba'duhum awliyaaa'u ba'dinw wallaahu waliyyul muttaqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! they can avail thee naught against Allah. And lo! as for the wrong-doers, some of them are friends of others; and Allah is the Friend of those who ward off (evil). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They will be of no use to thee in the sight of Allah: it is only Wrong-doers (that stand as) protectors, one to another: but Allah is the Protector of the Righteous. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, they will never avail you against Allah at all. And indeed, the wrongdoers are allies of one another; but Allah is the protector of the righteous. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who do not know the truth will not be able to hold back Allah’s punishment from you if you follow their desires. And the oppressors from all sects and creeds help and support one another against the believers. And Allah is the helper of those mindful of Him by carrying out His commands and refraining from His prohibitions. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वे अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में तुम्हारे कदापि कुछ काम नहीं आ सकते। निश्चय ही ज़ालिम लोग एक-दूसरे के साथी है और डर रखनेवालों का साथी अल्लाह है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये लोग ख़ुदा के सामने तुम्हारे कुछ भी काम न आएँगे और ज़ालिम लोग एक दूसरे के मददगार हैं और ख़ुदा तो परहेज़गारों का मददगार है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निःसंदेह जो लोग सत्य का ज्ञान नहीं रखते, वे आपसे अल्लाह की यातना को कदापि नहीं रोकेंगे यदि आप उनकी इच्छाओं का पालन करते हैं। निश्चय सभी धर्मों और संप्रदायों एवं समुदायों के अत्याचारी लोग, मोमिनों के विरुद्ध एक-दूसरे के सहायक और समर्थक हैं। और अल्लाह उन लोगों का सहायक है, जो उसके आदेशों का पालन करके और उसकी मना की हुई चीज़ों से बचकर, उससे डरने वाले हैं। |
| Ayah 20 |
| عَرَبِي | هٰذا بَصائِرُ لِلنّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحمَةٌ لِقَومٍ يوقِنونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Hatha basairu lilnnasi wahudan warahmatun liqawmin yooqinoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Haazaa basaaa'iru linnaasi wa hudanw wa rahmatul liqawminy yooqinoon |
| English (Pickthall) | This is clear indication for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for a folk whose faith is sure. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | These are clear evidences to men and a Guidance and Mercy to those of assured Faith. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | This [Qur'an] is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a people who are certain [in faith]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | This Qur’ān which is revealed to My Messenger is enlightenment through which people can see truth from falsehood, guidance to the truth, and mercy for people who have conviction, because they are the ones who are guided through it to the straight path, so that their Lord is pleased with them and He then enters them into Paradise and distances them from the fire. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वह लोगों के लिए सूझ के प्रकाशों का पुंज है, और मार्गदर्शन और दयालुता है उन लोगों के लिए जो विश्वास करें |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये (क़ुरान) लोगों (की) हिदायत के लिए दलीलो का मजमूआ है और बातें करने वाले लोगों के लिए (अज़सरतापा) हिदायत व रहमत है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | हमारे रसूल पर अवतरित यह क़ुरआन अंतर्दृष्टि और प्रबुद्धता है, जिसके द्वारा लोग असत्य से सत्य को देख सकते हैं, तथा सत्य का मार्गदर्शन और विश्वास करने वालों के लिए दया है; क्योंकि वही लोग उसके द्वारा सीधा रास्ता प्राप्त करते हैं, ताकि उनका पालनहार उनसे प्रसन्न हो जाए। फिर वह उन्हें जन्नत में दाखिल कर दे और जहन्नम से बचा ले। |
| Ayah 21 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم حَسِبَ الَّذينَ اجتَرَحُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَن نَجعَلَهُم كَالَّذينَ آمَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّالِحاتِ سَواءً مَحياهُم وَمَماتُهُم ۚ ساءَ ما يَحكُمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am hasiba allatheena ijtarahoo alssayyiati an najAAalahum kaallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati sawaan mahyahum wamamatuhum saa ma yahkumoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am hasibal lazeenaj tarahus saiyiaati an naj'alahum kallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilu saalihaati sawaaa'am mahyaahum wa mamaatuhum; saaa'a maa yahkumoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or do those who commit ill-deeds suppose that We shall make them as those who believe and do good works, the same in life and death? Bad is their judgment! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds,- that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who commit disbelief and sins through their limbs think I will make them in reward like those who brought faith in Allah and did good deeds, making them equal in this life and the Hereafter. Wretched is this judgment of theirs. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | (क्या मार्गदर्शन और पथभ्रष्ट ता समान है) या वे लोग, जिन्होंने बुराइयाँ कमाई है, यह समझ बैठे हैं कि हम उन्हें उन लोगों जैसा कर देंगे जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए कि उनका जीना और मरना समान हो जाए? बहुत ही बुरा है जो निर्णय वे करते है! |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जो लोग बुरा काम किया करते हैं क्या वह ये समझते हैं कि हम उनको उन लोगों के बराबर कर देंगे जो ईमान लाए और अच्छे अच्छे काम भी करते रहे और उन सब का जीना मरना एक सा होगा ये लोग (क्या) बुरे हुक्म लगाते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या अपने शरीर के अंगों द्वारा कुफ़्र और पाप करने वालों ने यह समझ रखा है कि हम उन्हें उन लोगों के समान बदला देंगे, जो अल्लाह पर ईमान लाए और अच्छे कर्म किए, ताकि वे इस दुनिया और आख़िरत में बराबर हो जाएँ?! उनका यह निर्णय बहुत बुरा है। |
| Ayah 22 |
| عَرَبِي | وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضَ بِالحَقِّ وَلِتُجزىٰ كُلُّ نَفسٍ بِما كَسَبَت وَهُم لا يُظلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wakhalaqa Allahu alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi walitujza kullu nafsin bima kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona |

| English (Pickthall) | And Allah hath created the heavens and the earth with truth, and that every soul may be repaid what it hath earned. And they will not be wronged. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Allah created the heavens and the earth for just ends, and in order that each soul may find the recompense of what it has earned, and none of them be wronged. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And Allah created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And Allah created the heavens and earth with complete wisdom and He did not create it in vain, and so that each soul can be rewarded with the good or bad it earned. Allah will not oppress them by decreasing their good deeds or increasing their bad deeds. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अल्लाह ने आकाशों और धरती को हक़ के साथ पैदा किया और इसलिए कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को उसकी कमाई का बदला दिया जाए और उनपर ज़ुल्म न किया जाए |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और ख़ुदा ने सारे आसमान व ज़मीन को हिकमत व मसलेहत से पैदा किया और ताकि हर शख़्श को उसके किये का बदला दिया जाए और उन पर (किसी तरह का) ज़ुल्म नहीं किया जाएगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अल्लाह ने आकाशों तथा धरती की रचना व्यापक हिकमत के तहत की है, उसने उन्हें व्यर्थ नहीं बनाया है। और ताकि हर प्राणी को उसके किए हुए अच्छे या बुरे कर्म का बदला दिया जाए। तथा अल्लाह उनके अच्छे कामों में कमी करके, या उनकी बुराइयों में वृद्धि करके, उनपर अत्याचार नहीं करेगा। |
| Ayah 23 |
| عَرَبِي | أَفَرَأَيتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلٰهَهُ هَواهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلىٰ عِلمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلىٰ سَمعِهِ وَقَلبِهِ وَجَعَلَ عَلىٰ بَصَرِهِ غِشاوَةً فَمَن يَهديهِ مِن بَعدِ اللَّهِ ۚ أَفَلا تَذَكَّرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Afaraayta mani ittakhatha ilahahu hawahu waadallahu Allahu AAala AAilmin wakhatama AAala samAAihi waqalbihi wajaAAala AAala basarihi ghishawatan faman yahdeehi min baAAdi Allahi afala tathakkaroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Afara'ayta manit takhaza ilaahahoo hawaahu wa adal lahul laahu 'alaa 'ilminw wa khatama 'alaa sam'ihee wa qalbihee wa ja'ala 'alaa basarihee ghishaawatan famany yahdeehi mim ba'dil laah; afalaa tazakkaroon |
| English (Pickthall) | Hast thou seen him who maketh his desire his god, and Allah sendeth him astray purposely, and sealeth up his hearing and his heart, and setteth on his sight a covering? Then who will lead him after Allah (hath condemned him)? Will ye not then heed? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger, look at the one who followed his desires and made it like his god he cannot oppose, then Allah led him astray despite his knowledge, because he deserved to be misguided, and Allah sealed his heart so he cannot listen in a manner that benefits, and Allah put a veil on his eyes which stops him from seeing the truth. So who can enable him to the truth after Allah has led him astray? Do you not remember the harm of following desires and the benefit of following Allah’s sacred law? |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | क्या तुमने उस व्यक्ति को नहीं देखा जिसने अपनी इच्छा ही को अपना उपास्य बना लिया? अल्लाह ने (उसकी स्थिति) जानते हुए उसे गुमराही में डाल दिया, और उसके कान और उसके दिल पर ठप्पा लगा दिया और उसकी आँखों पर परदा डाल दिया। फिर अब अल्लाह के पश्चात कौन उसे मार्ग पर ला सकता है? तो क्या तुम शिक्षा नहीं ग्रहण करते? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | भला तुमने उस शख़्श को भी देखा है जिसने अपनी नफसियानी ख़वाहिशों को माबूद बना रखा है और (उसकी हालत) समझ बूझ कर ख़ुदा ने उसे गुमराही में छोड़ दिया है और उसके कान और दिल पर अलामत मुक़र्रर कर दी है (कि ये ईमान न लाएगा) और उसकी ऑंख पर पर्दा डाल दिया है फिर ख़ुदा के बाद उसकी हिदायत कौन कर सकता है तो क्या तुम लोग (इतना भी) ग़ौर नहीं करते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) आप उस व्यक्ति को देखें, जो अपनी इच्छाओं के पीछे चलता है और उसे अपने पूज्य के समान बना रखा है, जिसका वह विरोध नहीं करता। अल्लाह ने उसे उसके जानने-समझने के उपरांत भी पथभ्रष्ट कर दिया है; क्योंकि वह पथभ्रष्ट किए जाने ही का पत्र है। तथा उसके दिल पर ठप्पा लगा दिया है, इसलिए वह उस तरह नहीं सुनता, जिससे उसे लाभ प्राप्त हो, तथा उसकी आँख पर पर्दा डाल दिया है, जो उसे सत्य को देखने से रोकता है। तो फिर अल्लाह के उसे पथभ्रष्ट कर देने के बाद कौन उसे सत्य की तौफ़ीक़ दे सकता है?! क्या तुम इच्छाओं के पीछे चलने के नुकसान और अल्लाह की शरीयत का पालन करने के लाभ को याद नहीं करते?! |
| Ayah 24 |
| عَرَبِي | وَقالوا ما هِيَ إِلّا حَياتُنَا الدُّنيا نَموتُ وَنَحيا وَما يُهلِكُنا إِلَّا الدَّهرُ ۚ وَما لَهُم بِذٰلِكَ مِن عِلمٍ ۖ إِن هُم إِلّا يَظُنّونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waqaloo ma hiya illa hayatuna alddunya namootu wanahya wama yuhlikuna illa alddahru wama lahum bithalika min AAilmin in hum illa yathunnoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa qaaloo maa hiya illaa hayaatunad dunyaa namootu wa nahyaa wa maa yuhlikunaaa illad dahr; wa maa lahum bizaalika min 'ilmin in hum illaayazunnoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And they say: There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and naught destroyeth us save time; when they have no knowledge whatsoever of (all) that; they do but guess. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And the disbelievers who denied the resurrection said: “There is no life besides this worldly life of ours, so there is no life after it. Generations die never to return and other generations come to life. And only the alteration of the night and day is what makes us die”. They have no knowledge for their denial of the resurrection. They are only assuming, and assumptions are of no benefit to the truth. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वे कहते है, "वह तो बस हमारा सांसारिक जीवन ही है। हम मरते और जीते है। हमें तो बस काल (समय) ही विनष्ट करता है।" हालाँकि उनके पास इसका कोई ज्ञान नहीं। वे तो बस अटकलें ही दौड़ाते है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और वह लोग कहते हैं कि हमारी ज़िन्दगी तो बस दुनिया ही की है (यहीं) मरते हैं और (यहीं) जीते हैं और हमको बस ज़माना ही (जिलाता) मारता है और उनको इसकी कुछ ख़बर तो है नहीं ये लोग तो बस अटकल की बातें करते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | मरणोपरांत पुनर्जीवित किए जाने का इनकार करने वाले काफ़िरों ने कहा : जीवन तो केवल यही हमारा सांसारिक जीवन है, इसके बाद कोई जीवन नहीं है। कुछ पीढ़ियाँ मर जाती हैं, फिर वे वापस नहीं लौटती हैं और कुछ दूसरी पीढ़ियाँ जीवित होती हैं। तथा हमारी मृत्यु का एकमात्र कारण रात और दिन का आना-जाना (कालचक्र) है। वास्तव में, उनके पास दोबारा जीवित होकर उठने के इनकार का कोई ज्ञान नहीं है। वे केवल अनुमान से काम ले रहे हैं और निश्चित रूप से, अनुमान का सत्य के सामने कोई लाभ नहीं है। |
| Ayah 25 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذا تُتلىٰ عَلَيهِم آياتُنا بَيِّناتٍ ما كانَ حُجَّتَهُم إِلّا أَن قالُوا ائتوا بِآبائِنا إِن كُنتُم صادِقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waitha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin ma kana hujjatahum illa an qaloo itoo biabaina in kuntum sadiqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim aayaatuna baiyinaatim maa kaana hujjatahum illaaa an qaalu'too bi aabaaa'inaaa in kuntum saadiqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them their only argument is that they say: Bring (back) our fathers. then, if ye are truthful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them their argument is nothing but this: They say, "Bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, their argument is only that they say, "Bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When you recite My clear verses to the idolaters who deny the resurrection, they have no proof which they can use except their saying to the Messenger (peace be upon him) and his Companions: “Bring our dead fathers back to life if you are true in your claim that we will be resurrected after our death”. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जब उनके सामने हमारी स्पष्ट आयतें पढ़ी जाती है, तो उनकी हुज्जत इसके सिवा कुछ और नहीं होती कि वे कहते है, "यदि तुम सच्चे हो तो हमारे बाप-दादा को ले आओ।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जब उनके सामने हमारी खुली खुली आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं तो उनकी कट हुज्जती बस यही होती है कि वह कहते हैं कि अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो हमारे बाप दादाओं को (जिला कर) ले तो आओ |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जब मरणोपरांत पुनर्जीवित करके उठाए जाने का इनकार करने वाले मश्रिकों के सामने हमारी स्पष्ट आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं, तो उनके पास रसूल सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम और आपके साथियों से यह कहने के अलावा कोई तर्क नहीं होता कि : हमारे उन बाप-दादाओं को जीवित करके दिखाओ, जिनकी मृत्यु हो चुकी, यदि तुम अपने इस दावे में सच्चे हो कि हम अपनी मृत्यु के बाद फिर से जीवित करके उठाए जाएँगे। |
| Ayah 26 |
| عَرَبِي | قُلِ اللَّهُ يُحييكُم ثُمَّ يُميتُكُم ثُمَّ يَجمَعُكُم إِلىٰ يَومِ القِيامَةِ لا رَيبَ فيهِ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَ النّاسِ لا يَعلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Quli Allahu yuhyeekum thumma yumeetukum thumma yajmaAAukum ila yawmi alqiyamati la rayba feehi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qulil laahu yuhyeekum summa yumeetukum summa yajma'ukum ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati laa raiba feehi wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa ya'lamoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Allah giveth life to you, then causeth you to die, then gathereth you unto the Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt. But most of mankind know not. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "Allah causes you to live, then causes you to die; then He will assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt, but most of the people do not know." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger, say to them: “Allah gives you life by creating you from a sperm-drop, then He will give you death, then He will gather you after your death on the day of judgment for reckoning and reward. That day in whose coming there is no doubt”. But most people do not know and so they do not prepare for it with good actions. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कह दो, "अल्लाह ही तुम्हें जीवन प्रदान करता है। फिर वहीं तुम्हें मृत्यु देता है। फिर वही तुम्हें क़ियामत के दिन तक इकट्ठा कर रहा है, जिसमें कोई संदेह नहीं। किन्तु अधिकतर लोग जानते नहीं |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि ख़ुदा ही तुमको ज़िन्दा (पैदा) करता है और वही तुमको मारता है फिर वही तुमको क़यामत के दिन जिस (के होने) में किसी तरह का शक़ नहीं जमा करेगा मगर अक्सर लोग नहीं जानते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) आप उनसे कह दें : अल्लाह ही तुम्हारी रचना करके तुम्हें जीवन प्रदान करता है, फिर वही तुम्हें मृत्यु देता है, फिर वही तुम्हारी मृत्य के पश्चात, तुम्हें क़ियामत के दिन हिसाब और बदले के लिए इकट्ठा करेगा। वह ऐसा दिन है, जिसके आने में कोई संदेह नहीं है, लेकिन अधिकांश लोग नहीं जानते; इसलिए, वे अच्छे कर्मों के साथ इसकी तैयारी नहीं करते हैं। |
| Ayah 27 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلِلَّهِ مُلكُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ وَيَومَ تَقومُ السّاعَةُ يَومَئِذٍ يَخسَرُ المُبطِلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatu yawmaithin yakhsaru almubtiloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa lillaahi mulkus samaawaati wal ard; wa Yawma taqoomus Saa'atu Yawma 'iziny yakhsarul mubtiloon |
| English (Pickthall) | And unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and on the day when the Hour riseth, on that day those who follow falsehood will be lost. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established,- that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And the Day the Hour appears - that Day the falsifiers will lose. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And to Allah alone belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the kingdom of earth, so there is nobody to be truly worshipped in them besides Him. And on the day the Hour occurs in which Allah will raise the dead for reckoning and reward, the people of falsehood who used to worship others besides Allah, strive to refute the truth and establish falsehood, will lose. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | आकाशों और धरती की बादशाही अल्लाह ही की है। और जिस दिन वह घड़ी घटित होगी उस दिन झूठवाले घाटे में होंगे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और सारे आसमान व ज़मीन की बादशाहत ख़ास ख़ुदा की है और जिस रोज़ क़यामत बरपा होगी उस रोज़ अहले बातिल बड़े घाटे में रहेंगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | आकाशों तथा धरती का साम्राज्य अल्लाह ही के हाथ में है। इसलिए, वास्तव में उन दोनों में उसके सिवा किसी अन्य की पूजा नहीं की जाएगी। तथा जिस दिन क़ियामत क़ायम होगी, जिसमें अल्लाह मृतकों को हिसाब और बदले के लिए पुनर्जीवित करके उठाएगा, तो झूठे लोग, जो अल्लाह के अलावा अन्य की पूजा करते थे तथा सत्य को असत्य और असत्य को सत्य ठहराने का यत्न करते थे, घाटे का सामना करेंगे। |
| Ayah 28 |
| عَرَبِي | وَتَرىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جاثِيَةً ۚ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ تُدعىٰ إِلىٰ كِتابِهَا اليَومَ تُجزَونَ ما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Watara kulla ommatin jathiyatan kullu ommatin tudAAa ila kitabiha alyawma tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa taraa kulla ummatin jaasiyah; kullu ummatin tud'aaa ilaa kitaabihaa al Yawma tujzawna maa kuntum ta'maloon |
| English (Pickthall) | And thou wilt see each nation crouching, each nation summoned to its record. (And it will be said unto them): This day ye are requited what ye used to do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And thou wilt see every sect bowing the knee: Every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye be recompensed for all that ye did! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And you will see on that day, O Messenger, every nation crouching on its knees, awaiting what will be done with them. Every nation will be called towards its book of deeds which the guarding angels wrote. Today, you will be rewarded, O people, for the good and bad you used to do in the world. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और तुम प्रत्येक गिरोह को घुटनों के बल झुका हुआ देखोगे। प्रत्येक गिरोह अपनी किताब की ओर बुलाया जाएगा, "आज तुम्हें उसी का बदला दिया जाएगा, जो तुम करते थे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (ऐ रसूल) तुम हर उम्मत को देखोगे कि (फैसले की मुन्तज़िर अदब से) घूटनों के बल बैठी होगी और हर उम्मत अपने नामाए आमाल की तरफ बुलाइ जाएगी जो कुछ तुम लोग करते थे आज तुमको उसका बदला दिया जाएगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा (ऐ रसूल!) आप उस दिन देखेंगे कि हर समुदाय अपने घुटनों पर बैठकर इंतज़ार कर रहा है कि उसके साथ क्या किया जाएगा। प्रत्येक समुदाय को उसके कर्मपत्र की ओर बुलाया जाएगा, जिसे संरक्षक-फ़रिश्तों ने लिख रखा होगा। आज (ऐ लोगो!) तुम्हें उसका बदला दिया जाएगा, जो अच्छा या बुरा कर्म तुम संसार में किया करते थे। |
| Ayah 29 |
| عَرَبِي | هٰذا كِتابُنا يَنطِقُ عَلَيكُم بِالحَقِّ ۚ إِنّا كُنّا نَستَنسِخُ ما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Hatha kitabuna yantiqu AAalaykum bialhaqqi inna kunna nastansikhu ma kuntum taAAmaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Haazaa kitaabunaa yantiqu 'alaikum bilhaqq; innaa kunnaa nastansikhu maa kuntum ta'maloon |
| English (Pickthall) | This Our Book pronounceth against you with truth. Lo! We have caused (all) that ye did to be recorded. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | This, Our record, speaks about you in truth. Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | This is My book, in which My angels used to write your actions, which is speaking against you truthfully, so read it. I used to order the guarding angels to write what you used to do in the world. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | "यह हमारी किताब है, जो तुम्हारे मुक़ाबले में ठीक-ठीक बोल रही है। निश्चय ही हम लिखवाते रहे हैं जो कुछ तुम करते थे।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये हमारी किताब (जिसमें आमाल लिखे हैं) तुम्हारे मुक़ाबले में ठीक ठीक बोल रही है जो कुछ भी तुम करते थे हम लिखवाते जाते थे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह हमारी पंजिका, (जिसमें हमारे फ़रिश्ते तुम्हारे कामों को लिखते थे) तुम्हारे विरुद्ध सत्य के साथ साक्ष्य दे रही है। इसलिए इसे पढ़ो। निश्चय हम संरक्षक-फ़रिश्तों को, जो कुछ तुम दुनिया में कर रहे थे, उसे लिखने का आदेश दे रहे थे। |
| Ayah 30 |
| عَرَبِي | فَأَمَّا الَّذينَ آمَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّالِحاتِ فَيُدخِلُهُم رَبُّهُم في رَحمَتِهِ ۚ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الفَوزُ المُبينُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faamma allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati fayudkhiluhum rabbuhum fee rahmatihi thalika huwa alfawzu almubeenu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa ammal lazeena aamaanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati fayudkhiluhum Rabbuhum fee rahmatih; zaalika huwal fawzul mubeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Then, as for those who believed and did good works, their Lord will bring them in unto His mercy. That is the evident triumph. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then, as to those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy that will be the achievement for all to see. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is what is the clear attainment. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | As for those who brought faith and did good actions, their Lord will enter them into Paradise through His mercy. That reward which Allah granted them is the clear success which no success can compare with. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए उन्हें उनका रब अपनी दयालुता में दाख़िल करेगा, यही स्पष्ट सफलता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ग़रज़ जिन लोगों ने ईमान क़ुबूल किया और अच्छे (अच्छे) काम किये तो उनको उनका परवरदिगार अपनी रहमत (से बेहिश्त) में दाख़िल करेगा यही तो सरीही कामयाबी है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अतः जो लोग ईमान लाए और अच्छे कर्म किए, तो उनका महिमावान पालनहार उन्हें अपनी दया से अपनी जन्नत में दाख़िल करेगा। अल्लाह ने उन्हें जो प्रतिफल दिया है, वही वह स्पष्ट सफलता है, जिसकी बराबरी कोई अन्य सफलता नहीं कर सकती। |
| Ayah 31 |
| عَرَبِي | وَأَمَّا الَّذينَ كَفَروا أَفَلَم تَكُن آياتي تُتلىٰ عَلَيكُم فَاستَكبَرتُم وَكُنتُم قَومًا مُجرِمينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waamma allatheena kafaroo afalam takun ayatee tutla AAalaykum faistakbartum wakuntum qawman mujrimeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa ammal lazeena kafarooo afalam takun Aayaatee tutlaa 'alaikum fastakbartum wa kuntum qawmam mujrimeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And as for those who disbelieved (it will be said unto them): Were not Our revelations recited unto you? But ye were scornful and became a guilty folk. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said): "Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But as for those who disbelieved, [it will be said], "Were not Our verses recited to you, but you were arrogant and became a people of criminals? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | As for those who disbelieved in Allah, it will be said to them to rebuke them: “Were My verses not recited to you, but you were too proud to bring faith in them, and you were a transgressing people, earning disbelief and sins?” |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | रहे वे लोग जिन्होंने इनकार किया (उनसे कहा जाएगा,) "क्या तुम्हें हमारी आयतें पढ़कर नहीं सुनाई जाती थी? किन्तु तुमने घमंड किया और तुम थे ही अपराधी लोग |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जिन्होंने कुफ्र एख्तेयार किया (उनसे कहा जाएगा) तो क्या तुम्हारे सामने हमारी आयतें नहीं पढ़ी जाती थीं (ज़रूर) तो तुमने तकब्बुर किया और तुम लोग तो गुनेहगार हो गए |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और रहे वे लोग जिन्होंने अल्लाह के साथ कुफ़्र किया, तो उन्हें फटकार लगाते हुए कहा जाएगा : क्या तुम्हें मेरी आयतें पढ़कर नहीं सुनाई जाती थीं, पर तुमने उनपर ईमान लाने से अहंकार किया, तथा तुम अपराधी लोग थे, कुफ़्र और गुनाहों में पड़े रहते थे?! |
| Ayah 32 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذا قيلَ إِنَّ وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَالسّاعَةُ لا رَيبَ فيها قُلتُم ما نَدري مَا السّاعَةُ إِن نَظُنُّ إِلّا ظَنًّا وَما نَحنُ بِمُستَيقِنينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waitha qeela inna waAAda Allahi haqqun waalssaAAatu la rayba feeha qultum ma nadree ma alssaAAatu in nathunnu illa thannan wama nahnu bimustayqineena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa izaa qeela inna wa'dallaahi haqqunw was Saa'atu laa raiba feehaa qultum maa nadree mas Saa'atu in nazunnu illaa zannanw wa maa nahnu bimustaiqineen |
| English (Pickthall) | And when it was said: Lo! Allah's promise is the truth, and there is no doubt of the Hour's coming, ye said: We know not what the Hour is. We deem it naught but a conjecture, and we are by no means convinced. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And when it was said, 'Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth and the Hour [is coming] - no doubt about it,' you said, 'We know not what is the Hour. We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced.' " |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When it is said to you: “Allah’s promise, in which He has promised His servants He will resurrect them and reward them, is true without doubt, and the Hour is true without doubt, so work for it”, you say: “We do not know what this Hour is. We only assume doubtfully that it is coming and we are not convinced it will come”. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जब कहा जाता था कि अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है और (क़ियामत की) घड़ी में कोई संदेह नहीं हैं। तो तुम कहते थे, "हम नहीं जानते कि वह घड़ी क्या हैं? तो तुम कहते थे, 'हम नहीं जानते कि वह घड़ी क्या है? हमें तो बस एक अनुमान-सा प्रतीत होता है और हमें विश्वास नहीं होता।'" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जब (तुम से) कहा जाता था कि ख़ुदा का वायदा सच्चा है और क़यामत (के आने) में कुछ शुबहा नहीं तो तुम कहते थे कि हम नहीं जानते कि क़यामत क्या चीज़ है हम तो बस (उसे) एक ख्याली बात समझते हैं और हम तो (उसका) यक़ीन नहीं रखते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जब तुमसे कहा जाता था कि : निःसंदेह अल्लाह का वादा - जो उसने अपने बंदों से वादा किया है कि वह उन्हें दोबारा जीवित करके उठाएगा और उन्हें बदला देगा - सच्चा है, जिसमें कोई संदेह नहीं है, तथा क़ियामत सत्य है, उसके बारे में कोई संदेह नहीं है, इसलिए तुम उसके लिए कार्य करो, तो तुम कहते थे : हम नहीं जानते कि यह क़ियामत क्या है। हमें केवल एक भ्रम-सा है कि वह आने वाली है, लेकिन हमें उसके आने पर पूर्ण विश्वास नहीं है। |
| Ayah 33 |
| عَرَبِي | وَبَدا لَهُم سَيِّئَاتُ ما عَمِلوا وَحاقَ بِهِم ما كانوا بِهِ يَستَهزِئونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wabada lahum sayyiatu ma AAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa badaa lahum saiyiaatu maa 'amiloo wa haaqa bihim maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon |
| English (Pickthall) | And the evils of what they did will appear unto them, and that which they used to deride will befall them. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then will appear to them the evil (fruits) of what they did, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And the evil consequences of the disbelief and sins they committed in the world will appear to them, and the punishment which they used to mock when warned of it will befall them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जो कुछ वे करते रहे उसकी बुराइयाँ उनपर प्रकट हो गई और जिस चीज़ का वे परिहास करते थे उसी ने उन्हें आ घेरा |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और उनके करतूतों की बुराईयाँ उस पर ज़ाहिर हो जाएँगी और जिस (अज़ाब) की ये हँसी उड़ाया करते थे उन्हें (हर तरफ से) घेर लेगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और दुनिया में उनके किए हुए कुफ़्र और पापों की बुराइयाँ उनके सामने प्रकट हो जाएँगी, और उनपर वह यातना उतर पड़ेगी, जिससे सावधान किए जाने पर वे उसका मज़ाक उड़ाया करते थे। |
| Ayah 34 |
| عَرَبِي | وَقيلَ اليَومَ نَنساكُم كَما نَسيتُم لِقاءَ يَومِكُم هٰذا وَمَأواكُمُ النّارُ وَما لَكُم مِن ناصِرينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waqeela alyawma nansakum kama naseetum liqaa yawmikum hatha wamawakumu alnnaru wama lakum min nasireena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa qeelal yawma nansaakum kamaa naseetum liqaaa'a yawmikum haazaa wa maawaakumun Naaru wa maa lakum min naasireen |
| English (Pickthall) | And it will be said: This day We forget you, even as ye forgot the meeting of this your day; and your habitation is the Fire, and there is none to help you. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | It will also be said: "This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours! and your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And it will be said, "Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and your refuge is the Fire, and for you there are no helpers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Allah will say to them: “Today, I will leave you in the fire just as you forgot meeting this day of yours, and so did not prepare for it through faith and good actions. And your abode which you will take refuge in is the fire. And you do not have any helpers to repel Allah’s punishment from you. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और कह दिया जाएगा कि "आज हम तुम्हें भुला देते हैं जैसे तुमने इस दिन की भेंट को भुला रखा था। तुम्हारा ठिकाना अब आग है और तुम्हारा कोई सहायक नहीं |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (उनसे) कहा जाएगा कि जिस तरह तुमने उस दिन के आने को भुला दिया था उसी तरह आज हम तुमको अपनी रहमत से अमदन भुला देंगे और तुम्हारा ठिकाना दोज़ख़ है और कोई तुम्हारा मददगार नहीं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और अल्लाह उनसे कहेगा : आज हम तुम्हें आग में छोड़ देंगे, जैसे तुम अपने इस दिन के मिलने को भुला बैठे थे। इसलिए तुमने इसके लिए ईमान और अच्छे कर्मों के द्वारा तैयारी नहीं की। तथा तुम्हारा ठिकाना जहाँ तुम्हें जाना है, जहन्नम है। और तुम्हारे कोई सहायक नहीं हैं, जो तुमसे अल्लाह के अज़ाब को दूर कर सकें। |
| Ayah 35 |
| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذتُم آياتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتكُمُ الحَياةُ الدُّنيا ۚ فَاليَومَ لا يُخرَجونَ مِنها وَلا هُم يُستَعتَبونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalikum biannakumu ittakhathtum ayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatu alddunya faalyawma la yukhrajoona minha wala hum yustaAAtaboona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalikum bi annakumut takhaztum aayaatil laahi huzuwanw wa gharratkumul hayaatud dunyaa; fal yawma laa yukhrajoona minhaa wa laahum yusta'taboon |
| English (Pickthall) | This, forasmuch as ye made the revelations of Allah a jest, and the life of the world beguiled you. Therefor this day they come not forth from thence, nor can they make amends. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That is because you took the verses of Allah in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you." So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | That punishment you are being punished with is because you took the words of Allah as a joke which you would mock, and life with its pleasures and desires deceived you”. So today these disbelievers who used to mock Allah’s words will not be taken out of the fire, but rather they will remain in it forever, and neither will they be returned to the worldly life to do good deeds nor will their Lord be pleased with them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह इस कारण कि तुमने अल्लाह की आयतों की हँसी उड़ाई थी और सांसारिक जीवन ने तुम्हें धोखे में डाले रखा।" अतः आज वे न तो उससे निकाले जाएँगे और न उनसे यह चाहा जाएगा कि वे किसी उपाय से (अल्लाह के) प्रकोप को दूर कर सकें |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये इस सबब से कि तुम लोगों ने ख़ुदा की आयतों को हँसी ठट्ठा बना रखा था और दुनयावी ज़िन्दगी ने तुमको धोखे में डाल दिया था ग़रज़ ये लोग न तो आज दुनिया से निकाले जाएँगे और न उनको इसका मौका दिया जाएगा कि (तौबा करके ख़ुदा को) राज़ी कर ले |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह अज़ाब जिससे तुम पीड़ित किए गए हो, इस कारण है कि तुमने अल्लाह की आयतों का मज़ाक़ बनाकर उनकी हँसी उड़ाई थी और दुनिया के जीवन ने अपने सुखों और इच्छाओं के साथ तुम्हें धोखे में डाल रखा था। अतः आज ये अल्लाह की आयतों का मज़ाक़ उड़ाने वाले काफ़िर जहन्नम से नहीं निकाले जाएँगे। बल्कि हमेशा के लिए उसी में पड़े रहेंगे। तथा ये दुनिया के जीवन की ओर भी नहीं लौटाए जाएँगे कि अच्छे कार्य करके आएँ, और इनका पालनहार इनसे प्रसन्न नहीं होगा। |
| Ayah 36 |
| عَرَبِي | فَلِلَّهِ الحَمدُ رَبِّ السَّماواتِ وَرَبِّ الأَرضِ رَبِّ العالَمينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Falillahi alhamdu rabbi alssamawati warabbi alardi rabbi alAAalameena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Falillaahil hamdu Rabbis samaawaati wa Rabbil ardi Rabbil-'aalameen |
| English (Pickthall) | Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Worlds. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then Praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth,- Lord and Cherisher of all the Worlds! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then, to Allah belongs [all] praise - Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So for Allah alone is praise, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, and Lord of all the creation. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः सारी प्रशंसा अल्लाह ही के लिए है जो आकाशों का रब और घरती का रब, सारे संसार का रब है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | पस सब तारीफ ख़ुदा ही के लिए सज़ावार है जो सारे आसमान का मालिक और ज़मीन का मालिक (ग़रज़) सारे जहॉन का मालिक है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अतः केवल अल्लाह ही के लिए सारी प्रशंसा है, जो आकाशों का रब और धरती का रब और सभी प्राणियों का रब है। |
| Ayah 37 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلَهُ الكِبرِياءُ فِي السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ ۖ وَهُوَ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walahu alkibriyao fee alssamawati waalardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa lahul kibriyaaa'u fissamaawaati wal ardi wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | And unto Him (alone) belongeth Majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | To Him be glory throughout the heavens and the earth: and He is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And to Him belongs [all] grandeur within the heavens and the earth, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And for Him is grandeur and greatness in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty whom nobody can overpower, Wise in His creating, decreeing and planning. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | आकाशों और धरती में बड़ाई उसी के लिए है, और वही प्रभुत्वशाली, अत्यन्त तत्वदर्शी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और सारे आसमान व ज़मीन में उसके लिए बड़ाई है और वही (सब पर) ग़ालिब हिकमत वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उसी की महिमा और प्रताप है आकाशों और धरती में। और वह प्रभुत्वशाली है, जिसे कोई पराजित नहीं कर सकता। वह अपनी रचना, तक़दीर (नियति), प्रबंधन और शरीयत में हिकमत वाला है। |
