| عَرَبِي | يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَما فِي الأَرضِ المَلِكِ القُدّوسِ العَزيزِ الحَكيمِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yusabbihu lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi almaliki alquddoosi alAAazeezi alhakeemi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yusabbihu lilaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardil Malikil Quddoosil 'Azeezil Hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One, the Mighty, the Wise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah,- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. |

He is the Sovereign, Who is alone in His sovereignty, free from every deficiency, the Mighty Whom none can overpower, the Wise in His creating, decree and laws. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | आकाशों और धरती में मौजूद सभी प्राणी अल्लाह के उन सभी कमियों से पवित्र होने का वर्णन करते हैं, जो उसकी महिमा के योग्य नहीं हैं। वह राजा है, जो अपने राज्य में एकता है, हर कमी से मुक्त व पवित्र है, सब पर प्रभुत्वशाली है, जिसपर किसी का ज़ोर नहीं चलता, तथा अपनी रचना, शरीयत और तक़दीर (निर्णय) में हिकमत वाला है। |

| عَرَبِي | هُوَ الَّذي بَعَثَ فِي الأُمِّيّينَ رَسولًا مِنهُم يَتلو عَلَيهِم آياتِهِ وَيُزَكّيهِم وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الكِتابَ وَالحِكمَةَ وَإِن كانوا مِن قَبلُ لَفي ضَلالٍ مُبينٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Huwa allathee baAAatha fee alommiyyeena rasoolan minhum yatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehim wayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wain kanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin |

| English (Pickthall) | He it is Who hath sent among the unlettered ones a messenger of their own, to recite unto them His revelations and to make them grow, and to teach them the Scripture and wisdom, though heretofore they were indeed in error manifest, |

| English (Abridged Expl.) | He is the One Who sent amongst the Arabs, who could neither read nor write, a messenger from their own kind, reciting to them His verses, which He revealed to him, purifying them from disbelief and bad morals, teaching them the Qur’ān and teaching them the Sunnah. Prior to his being sent to them they were clearly misguided from the truth, as they used to worship idols, spill blood and sever family ties. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वही है, जिसने उन अरबों के बीच, जो पढ़ना-लिखना नहीं जानते थे, उन्हीं की जाति में से एक रसूल भेजा, जो उन्हें अपने ऊपर अल्लाह की उतारी हुई आयतों को पढ़कर सुनाता है, उन्हें कुफ़्र और बुरी नैतिकताओं से शुद्ध करता है, उन्हें क़ुरआन सिखाता और सुन्नत की शिक्षा देता है। हालाँकि, वे उसके उनकी ओर रसूल बनाकर भेजे जाने से पहले स्पष्ट रूप से सत्य से भटके हुए थे, जहाँ वे मूर्तियों की पूजा करते, खून बहाते और रिश्ते-नाते काटते थे। |

| عَرَبِي | وَآخَرينَ مِنهُم لَمّا يَلحَقوا بِهِم ۚ وَهُوَ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waakhareena minhum lamma yalhaqoo bihim wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa aakhareena minhum lammaa yalhaqoo bihim wa huwal 'azeezul hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | Along with others of them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | As well as (to confer all these benefits upon) others of them, who have not already joined them: And He is exalted in Might, Wise. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And [to] others of them who have not yet joined them. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He sent this messenger to another people from the Arabs and others that have not come yet, but who are still to come. He is the Mighty Whom none can overpower, the Wise in His creating, laws and decree. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उसने इस रसूल को अरब के कुछ दूसरे लोगों और उनके अलावा अन्य लोगों की ओर भी भेजा, जो अभी तक नहीं आए हैं, और वे आएँगे। और वह प्रभुत्वशाली है, जिसे कोई पराजित नहीं कर सकता, वह अपनी रचना, शरीयत और तक़दीर (निर्णय) में हिकमत वाला है। |

| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكَ فَضلُ اللَّهِ يُؤتيهِ مَن يَشاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الفَضلِ العَظيمِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalika fadlu Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalika fadlul laahi yu'teehi many-yashaaa; wallaahu zul fadlil 'azeem |
| English (Pickthall) | That is the bounty of Allah; which He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is of Infinite Bounty. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will: and Allah is the Lord of the highest bounty. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That is the bounty of Allah, which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | That which has been mentioned - about sending the messenger to the Arabs and to others - is Allah’s grace that He gives to whoever He wishes. Allah possesses great favour and part of His great favour is the sending of the messenger of this nation to all of mankind. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह अल्लाह का उदार अनुग्रह है, जिसको चाहता है उसे प्रदान करता है। अल्लाह बड़े अनुग्रह का मालिक है |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह उपर्युक्त (रसूल सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम को अरबों और अन्य लोगों की ओर भेजना) अल्लाह का अनुग्रह है, वह जिसे चाहे यह अनुग्रह प्रदान करे। और अल्लाह महान उपकार वाला है। और उसके महान उपकार का एक उदाहरण इस उम्मत के रसूल को सभी लोगों की ओर भेजना है। |
| Ayah 5 |
| عَرَبِي | مَثَلُ الَّذينَ حُمِّلُوا التَّوراةَ ثُمَّ لَم يَحمِلوها كَمَثَلِ الحِمارِ يَحمِلُ أَسفارًا ۚ بِئسَ مَثَلُ القَومِ الَّذينَ كَذَّبوا بِآياتِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لا يَهدِي القَومَ الظّالِمينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Mathalu allatheena hummiloo alttawrata thumma lam yahmilooha kamathali alhimari yahmilu asfaran bisa mathalu alqawmi allatheena kaththaboo biayati Allahi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Masalul lazeena hum milut tawraata summa lam yahmiloonhaa kamasalil himaari yah milu asfaaraa; bi'sa masalul qawmil lazeena kaazzaboo bi aayaatil laah; wallaahu laa yahdil qawmazzaalimeen |
| English (Pickthall) | The likeness of those who are entrusted with the Law of Moses, yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the ass carrying books. Wretched is the likeness of folk who deny the revelations of Allah. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | The similitude of those who were charged with the (obligations of the) Mosaic Law, but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah: and Allah guides not people who do wrong. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | After Allah mentioned His favour by sending the messenger and revealing the Qur’ān, He mentions the conduct of some of the followers of Moses (peace be upon him) who turned away from practicing on what was contained in the Torah, as a warning to this nation against following them, and He said: The example of the Jews who were charged with carrying out what was contained in the Torah and who left out what they were charged with, is like that of a donkey carrying huge books. It does not know what has been loaded onto it. Is it books or something else? How bad is the example of those who deny Allah’s words. Allah does not guide people who do wrong to reach the truth. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिन लोगों पर तारात का बोझ डाला गया, किन्तु उन्होंने उसे न उठाया, उनकी मिसाल उस गधे की-सी है जो किताबे लादे हुए हो। बहुत ही बुरी मिसाल है उन लोगों की जिन्होंने अल्लाह की आयतों को झुठला दिया। अल्लाह ज़ालिमों को सीधा मार्ग नहीं दिखाया करता |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जिन लोगों (के सरों) पर तौरेत लदवायी गयी है उन्होने उस (के बार) को न उठाया उनकी मिसाल गधे की सी है जिस पर बड़ी बड़ी किताबें लदी हों जिन लोगों ने ख़ुदा की आयतों को झुठलाया उनकी भी क्या बुरी मिसाल है और ख़ुदा ज़ालिम लोगों को मंज़िल मकसूद तक नहीं पहुँचाया करता |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | उन यहूदियों का उदाहरण, जिन्हें तौरात की शिक्षाओं पर अमल करने की ज़िम्मेदारी सौंपी गई थी, परंतु वे उसे छोड़ बैठे, जिसकी उन्हें ज़िम्मेदारी सौंपी गई थी, उस गधे के समान है, जो बड़ी-बड़ी किताबें लादे हुए हो, वह नहीं जानता कि उसकी पीठ पर क्या लदा हुआ है : क्या वह किताबें हैं या कुछ और? बहुत बुरा उदाहरण है उन लोगों का, जिन्होंने अल्लाह की आयतों को झुठलाया। और अल्लाह अत्याचारी लोगों को सत्य तक पहुँचने का सामर्थ्य नहीं देता। |
| Ayah 6 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ هادوا إِن زَعَمتُم أَنَّكُم أَولِياءُ لِلَّهِ مِن دونِ النّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا المَوتَ إِن كُنتُم صادِقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul ya ayyuha allatheena hadoo in zaAAamtum annakum awliyao lillahi min dooni alnnasi fatamannawoo almawta in kuntum sadiqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul yaaa ayyuhal lazeena haadoo in za'amtum annakum awliyaaa'u lilaahi min doonin naasi fatamannawul mawta in kuntum saadiqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Say (O Muhammad): O ye who are Jews! If ye claim that ye are favoured of Allah apart from (all) mankind, then long for death if ye are truthful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to Allah, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for Death, if ye are truthful!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah, excluding the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Say, O Messenger: O you who have remained on Judaism after it was distorted, if you claim that you are Allah’s friends, whom He has specifically chosen as friends to the exclusion of other people, then hope for death, so that He can quickly give you the honour He has chosen for you - according to your claim - if you are true in your claim that you are Allah’s friends to the exclusion of other people. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कह दो, "ऐ लोगों, जो यहूदी हुए हो! यदि तुम्हें यह गुमान है कि सारे मनुष्यों को छोड़कर तुम ही अल्लाह के प्रेमपात्र हो तो मृत्यु की कामना करो, यदि तुम सच्चे हो।" |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल) आप कह दीजिए : ऐ वे लोगो, जो यहूदी धर्म के विकृत होने के बाद भी उसपर बने हुए हो, अगर तुम्हारा यह दावा है कि तुम अल्लाह के दोस्त हो, उसने दूसरे लोगों को छोड़कर तुम्हें दोस्ती के लिए विशिष्ट कर लिया है, तो फिर मृत्यु की कामना करो। ताकि अल्लाह तुम्हें वह सम्मान जल्दी प्रदान कर दे, जो उसने (तुम्हारे दावे के अनुसार) तुम्हारे लिए खास कर रखा है, यदि तुम अपने इस दावे में सच्चे हो कि तुम ही अल्लाह के दोस्त हो, कोई और नहीं। |
| Ayah 7 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلا يَتَمَنَّونَهُ أَبَدًا بِما قَدَّمَت أَيديهِم ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَليمٌ بِالظّالِمينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wala yatamannawnahu abadan bima qaddamat aydeehim waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laa yatamannaw nahooo abadam bimaa qaddamat aydeehim; wallaahu 'aleemum bix zaalimeen |
| English (Pickthall) | But they will never long for it because of all that their own hands have sent before, and Allah is Aware of evil-doers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But never will they express their desire (for Death), because of the (deeds) their hands have sent on before them! and Allah knows well those that do wrong! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But they will not wish for it, ever, because of what their hands have put forth. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | They will never hope for death. Instead they will hope to remain forever in the world because of the disbelief, sins and wrong they did and the distortion and changes they made to the Torah. Allah knows those who do wrong. Nothing of their actions is hidden from Him and He will give them the recompense for that. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | किन्तु वे कभी भी उसकी कामना करेंगे, उस (कर्म) के कारण जो उनके हाथों ने आगे भेजा है। अल्लाह ज़ालिमों को भली-भाँति जानता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और ये लोग उन आमाल के सबब जो ये पहले कर चुके हैं कभी उसकी आरज़ू न करेंगे और ख़ुदा तो ज़ालिमों को जानता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वे कभी भी मृत्यु की कामना नहीं करेंगे। बल्कि वे अपने कुफ़्र, पाप, अत्याचार तथा तौरात में विरूपण और परिवर्तन करने के कारण इस दुनिया में अनंत काल की कामना करते हैं। और अल्लाह अत्याचारियों को भली-भाँति जानता है। उनका कोई कार्य उससे छिपा नहीं है और वह उन्हें उनके कर्मों का बदला देगा। |
| Ayah 8 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل إِنَّ المَوتَ الَّذي تَفِرّونَ مِنهُ فَإِنَّهُ مُلاقيكُم ۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدّونَ إِلىٰ عالِمِ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul inna almawta allathee tafirroona minhu fainnahu mulaqeekum thumma turaddoona ila AAalimi alghaybi waalshshahadati fayunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul innal mawtal lazee tafirroona minhu fa innahoo mulaaqeekum summa turaddoona ilaa 'Aalimil Ghaibi wash shahaadati fa yunabbi'ukum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon |
| English (Pickthall) | Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! the death from which ye shrink will surely meet you, and afterward ye will be returned unto the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will tell you what ye used to do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Say, O Messenger, to these Jews: The death from which you flee will inevitably catch up with you sooner or later. Then you will return on the Day of Resurrection to Allah, Who knows everything that is seen or unseen. Nothing is hidden from Him. He will then tell you about what you used to do in the world and give you the recompense for that. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कह दो, "मृत्यु जिससे तुम भागते हो, वह तो तुम्हें मिलकर रहेगी, फिर तुम उसकी ओर लौटाए जाओगे जो छिपे और खुले का जाननेवाला है। और वह तुम्हें उससे अवगत करा देगा जो कुछ तुम करते रहे होगे।" - |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि मौत जिससे तुम लोग भागते हो वह तो ज़रूर तुम्हारे सामने आएगी फिर तुम पोशीदा और ज़ाहिर के जानने वाले (ख़ुदा) की तरफ लौटा दिए जाओगे फिर जो कुछ भी तुम करते थे वह तुम्हें बता देगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ रसूल) इन यहूदियों से कह दें : निश्चय वह मौत जिससे तुम भागते हो, अनिवार्य रूप से किसी न किसी समय तुम्हें आने वाली है। फिर तुम क़ियामत के दिन अल्लाह की ओर लौटाए जाओगे, जो हर उस चीज़ को जानता है, जो अनुपस्थित है और जो मौजूद है। उन दोनों में से कुछ भी उससे छिपा नहीं है। चुनाँचे वह तुम्हें बताएगा कि तुम दुनिया में क्या किया करते थे और तुम्हें उसका बदला देगा। |
| Ayah 9 |
| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا إِذا نودِيَ لِلصَّلاةِ مِن يَومِ الجُمُعَةِ فَاسعَوا إِلىٰ ذِكرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا البَيعَ ۚ ذٰلِكُم خَيرٌ لَكُم إِن كُنتُم تَعلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha noodiya lilssalati min yawmi aljumuAAati faisAAaw ila thikri Allahi watharoo albayAAa thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo izaa noodiya lis-Salaati miny yawmil Jumu'ati fas'aw ilaa zikril laahi wa zarul bai'; zaalikum khayrul lakum in kuntum ta'lamoon |
| English (Pickthall) | O ye who believe! When the call is heard for the prayer of the day of congregation, haste unto remembrance of Allah and leave your trading. That is better for you if ye did but know. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O you who have faith in Allah, and who act on what He has ordained for you, when the caller to prayer calls out on the day of Friday after the speaker ascends the pulpit, then hurry to the mosques to attend the speech and the prayer and leave trading, so that it does not distract you from obedience. That hurrying and leaving out trading after the call for the Friday prayer is better for you, O believers. If you know that, then fulfil what Allah has instructed you to do. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ ईमान लानेवालो, जब जुमा के दिन नमाज़ के लिए पुकारा जाए तो अल्लाह की याद की ओर दौड़ पड़ो और क्रय-विक्रय छोड़ दो। यह तुम्हारे लिए अच्छा है, यदि तुम जानो |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ ईमानदारों जब जुमा का दिन नमाज़ (जुमा) के लिए अज़ान दी जाए तो ख़ुदा की याद (नमाज़) की तरफ दौड़ पड़ो और (ख़रीद) व फरोख्त छोड़ दो अगर तुम समझते हो तो यही तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान रखने और उसकी शरीयत पर अमल करने वालो! जब मुअज़्ज़िन जुमा के दिन खतीब के मिंबर पर चढ़ने के बाद, नमाज़ के लिए अज़ान दे, तो ख़ुतबा सुनने और नमाज़ पढ़ने के लिए मस्जिदों की ओर दौड़ चलो और क्रय-विक्रय छोड़ दो; ताकि यह तुम्हें आज्ञाकारिता से विचलित न कर दे। यह जुमे की अज़ान के बाद नमाज़ के लिए जल्दी जाना और क्रय-विक्रय छोड़ देना (ऐ मोमिनो) तुम्हारे लिए बेहतर है, अगर तुम इस बात से अवगत हो। अतः अल्लाह ने तुम्हें जो आदेश दिया है, उसका पालन करो। |

| عَرَبِي | فَإِذا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلاةُ فَانتَشِروا فِي الأَرضِ وَابتَغوا مِن فَضلِ اللَّهِ وَاذكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثيرًا لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faitha qudiyati alssalatu faintashiroo fee alardi waibtaghoo min fadli Allahi waothkuroo Allaha katheeran laAAallakum tuflihoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa-izaa qudiyatis Salaatu fantashiroo fil ardi wabtaghoo min fadlil laahi wazkurul laaha kaseeral la'allakum tuflihoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And when the prayer is ended, then disperse in the land and seek of Allah's bounty, and remember Allah much, that ye may be successful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And when the Prayer is finished, then may ye disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah: and celebrate the Praises of Allah often (and without stint): that ye may prosper. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often that you may succeed. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When you have completed the Friday prayer then spread out on earth searching for lawful earnings and the fulfilment of your needs, and seek of Allah’s bounty by way of lawful earnings and lawful profit. Remember Allah abundantly during your search for provision and do not let your search for provision make you forget Allah’s remembrance, in the hope that you will attain what you love and be saved from what you fear. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | फिर जब नमाज़ हो चुके तो ज़मीन में (जहाँ चाहो) जाओ और ख़ुदा के फज़ल (अपनी रोज़ी) की तलाश करो और ख़ुदा को बहुत याद करते रहो ताकि तुम दिली मुरादें पाओ |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर जब तुम जुमे की नमाज़ पूरी कर लो, तो हलाल रोज़ी की तलाश में और अपनी ज़रूरतों की पूर्ति के लिए धरती में फैल जाओ, और हलाल कमाई तथा वैध मुनाफ़ा के माध्यम से अल्लाह का अनुग्रह तलाश करो, और आजीविका के लिए अपनी खोज के दौरान अल्लाह को बहुत याद करते रहो, और आजीविका के लिए तुम्हारी खोज तुम्हें अल्लाह के ज़िक्र से गाफ़िल न करे, ताकि तुम्हें वह चीज़ प्राप्त हो सके, जिसे तुम पसंद करते हो और उस चीज़ से बच सको, जिससे तुम डरते हो। |
| Ayah 11 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذا رَأَوا تِجارَةً أَو لَهوًا انفَضّوا إِلَيها وَتَرَكوكَ قائِمًا ۚ قُل ما عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيرٌ مِنَ اللَّهوِ وَمِنَ التِّجارَةِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَيرُ الرّازِقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waitha raaw tijaratan aw lahwan infaddoo ilayha watarakooka qaiman qul ma AAinda Allahi khayrun mina allahwi wamina alttijarati waAllahu khayru alrraziqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa izaa ra'aw tijaaratan aw lahwanin faddooo ilaihaa wa tarakooka qaaa'imaa; qul maa 'indal laahi khairum minal lahwi wa minat tijaarah; wallaahu khayrur raaziqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | But when they spy some merchandise or pastime they break away to it and leave thee standing. Say: That which Allah hath is better than pastime and than merchandise, and Allah is the Best of providers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: "The (blessing) from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain! and Allah is the Best to provide (for all needs)." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When some Muslims see a trade or entertainment they disperse, going out towards it and leave you, O Messenger, standing on the pulpit. Say, O Messenger-: The recompense for righteous action with Allah is better than the trade and entertainment that you go out towards. Allah is the best of providers. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | किन्तु जब वे व्यवहार और खेल-तमाशा देखते है तो उसकी ओर टूट पड़ते है और तुम्हें खड़ा छोड़ देते है। कह दो, "जो कुछ अल्लाह के पास है वह तमाशे और व्यापार से कहीं अच्छा है। और अल्लाह सबसे अच्छा आजीविका प्रदान करनेवाला है।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (उनकी हालत तो ये है कि) जब ये लोग सौदा बिकता या तमाशा होता देखें तो उसकी तरफ टूट पड़े और तुमको खड़ा हुआ छोड़ दें (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि जो चीज़ ख़ुदा के यहाँ है वह तमाशे और सौदे से कहीं बेहतर है और ख़ुदा सबसे बेहतर रिज्क़ देने वाला है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जब कुछ मुसलमानों ने व्यापार या खेल-तमाशा देखा, तो वे उसकी ओर निकल गए और उन्होंने (ऐ रसूल) आपको मिंबर पर खड़ा छोड़ दिया। (ऐ रसूल) आप कह दें : अल्लाह के पास अच्छे कर्म का जो बदला है, वह उस व्यापार एवं खेल-कूद से उत्तम है, जिसकी ओर तुम निकलकर गए थे। और अल्लाह सबसे उत्तम रोज़ी देने वाला है। |
