| Ayah 1 |
| عَرَبِي | إِذا جاءَكَ المُنافِقونَ قالوا نَشهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسولُ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشهَدُ إِنَّ المُنافِقينَ لَكاذِبونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Itha jaaka almunafiqoona qaloo nashhadu innaka larasoolu Allahi waAllahu yaAAlamu innaka larasooluhu waAllahu yashhadu inna almunafiqeena lakathiboona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Izaa jaaa'akal munaafiqoona qaaloo nashhadu innaka la rasoolul laah; wallaahu ya'lamu innaka la rasooluhoo wallaahu yashhadu innal munaafiqeena lakaaziboon |
| English (Pickthall) | When the hypocrites come unto thee (O Muhammad), they say: We bear witness that thou art indeed Allah's messenger. And Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the hypocrites indeed are speaking falsely. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | When the Hypocrites come to thee, they say, "We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah." Yea, Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His Messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the Hypocrites are indeed liars. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When the hypocrites, who outwardly profess Islam and inwardly conceal disbelief, come to your gathering, O Messenger, they say: ‘We testify that you are truly the messenger of Allah.’ Allah testifies that the hypocrites are lying in their claim that they testify from the depth of their hearts that you are His messenger. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जब मुनाफ़िक (कपटाचारी) तुम्हारे पास आते है तो कहते है, "हम गवाही देते है कि निश्चय ही आप अल्लाह के रसूल है।" अल्लाह जानता है कि निस्संदेह तुम उसके रसूल हो, किेन्तु अल्लाह गवाही देता है कि ये मुनाफ़िक बिलकुल झूठे है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल) जब तुम्हारे पास मुनाफेक़ीन आते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम तो इक़रार करते हैं कि आप यक़नीन ख़ुदा के रसूल हैं और ख़ुदा भी जानता है तुम यक़ीनी उसके रसूल हो मगर ख़ुदा ज़ाहिर किए देता है कि ये लोग अपने (एतक़ाद के लिहाज़ से) ज़रूर झूठे हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जब मुनाफ़िक़ लोग, जो इस्लाम का प्रदर्शन करते हैं और दिल में कुफ़्र छिपाए होते हैं, (ऐ रसूल!) आपकी सभा में आते हैं, तो कहते हैं : हम गवाही देते हैं कि निःसंदेह आप सचमुच अल्लाह के रसूल हैं। और अल्लाह जानता है कि निःसंदेह आप सचमुच उसके रसूल हैं। तथा अल्लाह गवाही देता है कि मुनाफ़िक़ लोग अपने इस दावे में निश्चित रूप से झूठे हैं कि वे अपने दिलों की गहराइयों से गवाही देते हैं कि आप उसके रसूल हैं। |
| Ayah 2 |
| عَرَبِي | اتَّخَذوا أَيمانَهُم جُنَّةً فَصَدّوا عَن سَبيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُم ساءَ ما كانوا يَعمَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ittakhathoo aymanahum junnatan fasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi innahum saa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Ittakhazoo aymaanahum junnatan fasaddoo 'an sabeelil laah; innahum saaa'a maa kaanoo ya'maloon |
| English (Pickthall) | They make their faith a pretext so that they may turn (men) from the way of Allah. Verily evil is that which they are wont to do, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | They have made the oaths that they swear on their claim of faith a cover and protection for them from being killed or imprisoned. They turned people away from faith by the doubts and rumours that they spread. Evil is the hypocrisy and false oaths that they perpetrate. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उन्होंने अपनी क़समों को ढाल बना रखा है, इस प्रकार वे अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकते है। निश्चय ही बुरा है जो वे कर रहे है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | इन लोगों ने अपनी क़समों को सिपर बना रखा है तो (इसी के ज़रिए से) लोगों को ख़ुदा की राह से रोकते हैं बेशक ये लोग जो काम करते हैं बुरे हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | उन्होंने अपनी क़समों को, जो वे अपने ईमान के दावे पर खाते हैं, क़त्ल तथा क़ैद से बचने के लिए ढाल बना लिया है तथा संदेहवाद और झूठी अफवाह फैलाकर लोगों को ईमान से रोका है। निःसंदेह बहुत बुरा है, जो वे पाखंड और झूठी क़समें खाना आदि बुरे काम कर रहे थे। |
| Ayah 3 |
| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُم آمَنوا ثُمَّ كَفَروا فَطُبِعَ عَلىٰ قُلوبِهِم فَهُم لا يَفقَهونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalika biannahum amanoo thumma kafaroo fatubiAAa AAala quloobihim fahum la yafqahoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalika bi annahum aamanoo summa kafaroo fatubi'a 'alaa quloobihim fahum laa yafqahoon |
| English (Pickthall) | That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed so that they understand not. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: So a seal was set on their hearts: therefore they understand not. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | That is because they hypocritically professed faith, but faith did not reach their hearts, and then they secretly rejected Allah, so He put a seal on their hearts on account of their disbelief so that faith cannot enter it. Due to this seal they do not understand that in which lies their rectitude and righteousness. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह इस कारण कि वे ईमान लाए, फिर इनकार किया, अतः उनके दिलों पर मुहर लगा दी गई, अब वे कुछ नहीं समझते |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | इस सबब से कि (ज़ाहिर में) ईमान लाए फिर काफ़िर हो गए, तो उनके दिलों पर (गोया) मोहर लगा दी गयी है तो अब ये समझते ही नहीं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि वे दिखाने के लिए ईमान लाए थे और ईमान उनके दिलों तक नहीं पहुँचा था, फिर उन्होंने गुप्त रूप से अल्लाह के साथ कुफ़्र किया। इसलिए उनके कुफ़्र के कारण अल्लाह ने उनके दिलों पर मुहर लगा दी। अतः अब उनके अंदर ईमान प्रवेश नहीं कर सकता। तो उस मुहर के कारण उन्हें समझ नहीं आता कि उनकी भलाई और मार्गदर्शन किस में है। |
| Ayah 4 |
| عَرَبِي | ۞ وَإِذا رَأَيتَهُم تُعجِبُكَ أَجسامُهُم ۖ وَإِن يَقولوا تَسمَع لِقَولِهِم ۖ كَأَنَّهُم خُشُبٌ مُسَنَّدَةٌ ۖ يَحسَبونَ كُلَّ صَيحَةٍ عَلَيهِم ۚ هُمُ العَدُوُّ فَاحذَرهُم ۚ قاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ أَنّىٰ يُؤفَكونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waitha raaytahum tuAAjibuka ajsamuhum wain yaqooloo tasmaAA liqawlihim kaannahum khushubun musannadatun yahsaboona kulla sayhatin AAalayhim humu alAAaduwwu faihtharhum qatalahumu Allahu anna yufakoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa izaa ra aytahum tu'jibuka ajsaamuhum wa iny yaqooloo tasma' liqawlihim kaannahum khushubum musannadah; yahsaboona kulla saihatin 'alaihim; humul 'aduwwu fahzarhum; qaatalahumul laahu annaa yu'fakoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And when thou seest them their figures please thee; and if they speak thou givest ear unto their speech. (They are) as though they were blocks of wood in striped cloaks. They deem every shout to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. Allah confound them! How they are perverted! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and when they speak, thou listenest to their words. They are as (worthless as hollow) pieces of timber propped up, (unable to stand on their own). They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of them. The curse of Allah be on them! How are they deluded (away from the Truth)! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When you see them, their appearance and form impresses you, because of the youthfulness and luxury they possess. If they speak, you listen to their speech because of its eloquence. As if they are propped-up timber in your gathering, O Messenger. They do not understand or pay heed to anything. They think that every sound is targeting them because of their cowardice. They are truly the enemy, so be careful, O Messenger, that they do not divulge a secret of yours or make a plot against you. May Allah curse them! How are they deluded from faith despite the clarity of its evidence and its glaring proof! |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तुम उन्हें देखते हो तो उनके शरीर (बाह्य रूप) तुम्हें अच्छे लगते है, औरयदि वे बात करें तो उनकी बात तुम सुनते रह जाओ। किन्तु यह ऐसा ही है मानो वे लकड़ी के कुंदे है, जिन्हें (दीवार के सहारे) खड़ा कर दिया गया हो। हर ज़ोर की आवाज़ को वे अपने ही विरुद्ध समझते है। वही वास्तविक शत्रु हैं, अतः उनसे बचकर रहो। अल्लाह की मार उनपर। वे कहाँ उल्टे फिरे जा रहे है! |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जब तुम उनको देखोगे तो तनासुबे आज़ा की वजह से उनका क़द व क़ामत तुम्हें बहुत अच्छा मालूम होगा और गुफ्तगू करेंगे तो ऐसी कि तुम तवज्जो से सुनो (मगर अक्ल से ख़ाली) गोया दीवारों से लगायी हुयीं बेकार लकड़ियाँ हैं हर चीख़ की आवाज़ को समझते हैं कि उन्हीं पर आ पड़ी ये लोग तुम्हारे दुश्मन हैं तुम उनसे बचे रहो ख़ुदा इन्हें मार डाले ये कहाँ बहके फिरते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जब तुम (ऐ देखने वाले) उन्हें देखो, तो उनके परम सुख व आनंद और ताजगी के कारण उनकी आकृति और आकार तुम्हें बहुत अच्छा लगेगा, और अगर वे बात करें, तो तुम उनकी बात को उसकी वाक्पटुता के कारण कान लगाकर सुनोगे। वे आपकी सभा में (ऐ रसूल) ऐसे बैठे होते हैं, मानो कि वे दीवार के सहारे लगाई हुई लकड़ियाँ हैं। न कुछ समझते हैं और न याद रखते हैं, बल्कि उनकी कायरता का हाल यह है कि वे हर आवाज़ को अपने ही विरुद्ध समझते हैं। वही वास्तविक दुश्मन हैं। अतः, (ऐ रसूल) उनसे सावधान रहें कि कहीं वे आपके किसी रहस्य को उजागर न कर दें या आपके विरुद्ध कोई चाल न चलें। उन पर अल्लाह की लानत है। वे ईमान से कैसे फेरे जा रहे हैं, जबकि उसके प्रमाण स्पष्ट और उसके तर्क साफ़ नज़र आते हैं। |
| Ayah 5 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُم تَعالَوا يَستَغفِر لَكُم رَسولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوا رُءوسَهُم وَرَأَيتَهُم يَصُدّونَ وَهُم مُستَكبِرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waitha qeela lahum taAAalaw yastaghfir lakum rasoolu Allahi lawwaw ruoosahum waraaytahum yasuddoona wahum mustakbiroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa izaa qeela lahum ta'aalaw yastaghfir lakum rasoolul laahi lawwaw ru'oo sahum wa ra aytahum yasuddoona wa hum mustakbiroon |
| English (Pickthall) | And when it is said unto them: Come! The messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you! they avert their faces and thou seest them turning away, disdainful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When these hypocrites are told: Come to the Messenger of Allah and apologize for what you’ve done, he will seek from Allah forgiveness for your sins, they turn their heads in mockery and jest, and you see them turning away from what they are instructed to do, whilst they are too proud to accept the truth and submit to it. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जब उनसे कहा जाता है, "आओ, अल्लाह का रसूल तुम्हारे लिए क्षमा की प्रार्थना करे।" तो वे अपने सिर मटकाते है और तुम देखते हो कि घमंड के साथ खिंचे रहते है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि आओ रसूलअल्लाह तुम्हारे वास्ते मग़फेरत की दुआ करें तो वह लोग अपने सर फेर लेते हैं और तुम उनको देखोगे कि तकब्बुर करते हुए मुँह फेर लेते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जब इन मुनाफ़िकों से कहा जाए : जो कुछ तुमसे हुआ उसके लिए माफ़ी मांगते हुए अल्लाह के रसूल के पास आओ, वह अल्लाह से तुम्हारे पापों के लिए क्षमा याचना करेंगे, तो वे मज़ाक उड़ाते हुए अपने सिर घुमा लेते हैं, और आप उन्हें देखेंगे कि सत्य को स्वीकार करने और उसका पालन करने से घमंड करते हुए, उससे मुँह मोड़ लेते हैं, जिसका उन्हें आदेश दिया गया था। |
| Ayah 6 |
| عَرَبِي | سَواءٌ عَلَيهِم أَستَغفَرتَ لَهُم أَم لَم تَستَغفِر لَهُم لَن يَغفِرَ اللَّهُ لَهُم ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَهدِي القَومَ الفاسِقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Sawaon AAalayhim astaghfarta lahum am lam tastaghfir lahum lan yaghfira Allahu lahum inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Sawaaa'un 'alaihim as taghfarta lahum am lam tastaghfir lahum lany yaghfiral laahu lahum; innal laaha laa yahdil qawmal faasiqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Whether thou ask forgiveness for them or ask not forgiveness for them is all one for them; Allah will not forgive them. Lo! Allah guideth not the evil-living folk. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | It is equal to them whether thou pray for their forgiveness or not. Allah will not forgive them. Truly Allah guides not rebellious transgressors. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will Allah forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | It is the same whether you, O Messenger, seek forgiveness for their sins or you do not seek forgiveness for them. Allah will never forgive their sins. Allah does not guide those who go against His obedience and who persist in disobeying Him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उनके लिए बराबर है चाहे तुम उनके किए क्षमा की प्रार्थना करो या उनके लिए क्षमा की प्रार्थना न करो। अल्लाह उन्हें कदापि क्षमा न करेगा। निश्चय ही अल्लाह अवज्ञाकारियों को सीधा मार्ग नहीं दिखाया करता |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो तुम उनकी मग़फेरत की दुआ माँगो या न माँगो उनके हक़ में बराबर है (क्यों कि) ख़ुदा तो उन्हें हरगिज़ बख्शेगा नहीं ख़ुदा तो हरगिज़ बदकारों को मंज़िले मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुँचाया करता |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल) आपका उनके गुनाहों के लिए क्षमा याचना करना और उनके लिए क्षमा याचना न करना दोनों बराबर है। अल्लाह उनके गुनाहों को हरगिज़ माफ़ नहीं करेगा। अल्लाह उन लोगों को सामर्थ्य प्रदान नहीं करता, जो उसकी आज्ञाकारिता से निकल जाने वाले और उसकी अवज्ञा पर अड़े रहने वाले हैं। |
| Ayah 7 |
| عَرَبِي | هُمُ الَّذينَ يَقولونَ لا تُنفِقوا عَلىٰ مَن عِندَ رَسولِ اللَّهِ حَتّىٰ يَنفَضّوا ۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزائِنُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ وَلٰكِنَّ المُنافِقينَ لا يَفقَهونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Humu allatheena yaqooloona la tunfiqoo AAala man AAinda rasooli Allahi hatta yanfaddoo walillahi khazainu alssamawati waalardi walakinna almunafiqeena la yafqahoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Humul lazeena yaqooloona laa tunfiqoo 'alaa man inda Rasoolil laahi hatta yanfaddoo; wa lillaahi khazaaa' inus samaawaati wal ardi wa laakinnal munaafiqeena la yafqahoon |
| English (Pickthall) | They it is who say: Spend not on behalf of those (who dwell) with Allah's messenger that they may disperse (and go away from you); when Allah's are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites comprehend not. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They are the ones who say, "Spend nothing on those who are with Allah's Messenger, to the end that they may disperse (and quit Medina)." But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the Hypocrites understand not. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | They are the ones who say: “Do not spend your wealth on those poor people who are with the Messenger of Allah and the bedouins around Madina so that they disperse away from him.”The treasures of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah alone. He grants them to whichever servants of His He wishes. But the hypocrites do not know that the treasures of provision are in His hand, may He be glorified. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वे वहीं लोग है जो कहते है, "उन लोगों पर ख़र्च न करो जो अल्लाह के रसूल के पास रहनेवाले है, ताकि वे तितर-बितर हो जाएँ।" हालाँकि आकाशों और धरती के ख़जाने अल्लाह ही के है, किन्तु वे मुनाफ़िक़ समझते नहीं |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये वही लोग तो हैं जो (अन्सार से) कहते हैं कि जो (मुहाजिरीन) रसूले ख़ुदा के पास रहते हैं उन पर ख़र्च न करो यहाँ तक कि ये लोग ख़ुद तितर बितर हो जाएँ हालॉकि सारे आसमान और ज़मीन के ख़ज़ाने ख़ुदा ही के पास हैं मगर मुनाफेक़ीन नहीं समझते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वही लोग हैं, जो कहते हैं : अपना धन उन गरीबों और मदीने के आस-पास के देहातियों पर खर्च न करो, जो अल्लाह के रसूल सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम के पास हैं, यहाँ तक कि वे उनसे अलग हो जाएँ। हालाँकि आकाशों के खज़ाने और पृथ्वी के खज़ाने केवल अल्लाह ही के हैं। वह अपने बंदों में से जिसे चाहता है, उसे प्रदान करता है। लेकिन मुनाफ़िक़ों को पता नहीं है कि रोज़ी के खज़ाने अल्लाह महिमावान ही के हाथ में हैं। |
| Ayah 8 |
| عَرَبِي | يَقولونَ لَئِن رَجَعنا إِلَى المَدينَةِ لَيُخرِجَنَّ الأَعَزُّ مِنهَا الأَذَلَّ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ العِزَّةُ وَلِرَسولِهِ وَلِلمُؤمِنينَ وَلٰكِنَّ المُنافِقينَ لا يَعلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yaqooloona lain rajaAAna ila almadeenati layukhrijanna alaAAazzu minha alathalla walillahi alAAizzatu walirasoolihi walilmumineena walakinna almunafiqeena la yaAAlamoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaqooloona la'ir raja'naaa ilal madeenati la yukhrijanal a'azzu minhal azall; wa lillaahil 'izzatu wa li Rasoolihee wa lilmu'mineena wa laakinnal munaafiqeena laa ya'lamoon |
| English (Pickthall) | They say: Surely, if we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will soon drive out the weaker; when might belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers; but the hypocrites know not. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They say, "If we return to Medina, surely the more honourable (element) will expel therefrom the meaner." But honour belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and to the Believers; but the Hypocrites know not. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | They say, "If we return to al-Madinah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Their leader, Abdullah bin Ubayy, says: If we return to Madina, the mighty - which is me and my people - will drive out the weak - which is Muhammad and his companions. To Allah alone belongs all might and to His Messenger and to the believers, and not to Abdullah bin Ubayy and his followers. But the hypocrites do not know that might belongs to Allah and to His Messenger and to the believers. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वे कहते है, "यदि हम मदीना लौटकर गए तो जो अधिक शक्तिवाला है, वह हीनतर (व्यक्तियों) को वहाँ से निकाल बाहर करेगा।" हालाँकि शक्ति अल्लाह और उसके रसूल और मोमिनों के लिए है, किन्तु वे मुनाफ़िक़ जानते नहीं |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये लोग तो कहते हैं कि अगर हम लौट कर मदीने पहुँचे तो इज्ज़दार लोग (ख़ुद) ज़लील (रसूल) को ज़रूर निकाल बाहर कर देंगे हालॉकि इज्ज़त तो ख़ास ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल और मोमिनीन के लिए है मगर मुनाफेक़ीन नहीं जानते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | उनका सरदार अब्दुल्लाह बिन उबैय कहता है : अगर हम मदीना लौटकर गए तो सबसे सम्माननीय लोग (अर्थात मैं और मेरे लोग) वहाँ से सबसे तुच्छ लोगों; यानी मुहम्मद और उनके साथियों को निकाल बाहर करेंगे। हालाँकि सम्मान केवल अल्लाह के लिए, उसके रसूल के लिए और मोमिनों के लिए है, अब्दुल्लाह बिन उबैय और उसके साथियों के लिए नहीं है। लेकिन मुनाफ़िक़ लोग यह नहीं जानते कि सम्मान अल्लाह, उसके रसूल और मोमिनों के लिए है। |
| Ayah 9 |
| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا لا تُلهِكُم أَموالُكُم وَلا أَولادُكُم عَن ذِكرِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَفعَل ذٰلِكَ فَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الخاسِرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tulhikum amwalukum wala awladukum AAan thikri Allahi waman yafAAal thalika faolaika humu alkhasiroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo la tulhikum amwaalukum wa laa awlaadukum 'anzikril laah; wa mai-yaf'al zaalika fa-ulaaa'ika humul khaasiroon |
| English (Pickthall) | O ye who believe! Let not your wealth nor your children distract you from remembrance of Allah. Those who do so, they are the losers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | After Allah showed the keenness of the hypocrites on holding back from spending in order to prevent others from Allah’s path, He warns the believers against doing the same and instructs them to spend in His path by saying: O you who have faith in Allah, and who act on what He has ordained for you, do not let your wealth nor your children distract you from the prayer or any of the other obligations of Islam. Those whose wealth and children distract them from the prayer and the other obligations that Allah has imposed on them, they are the true losers who will lose themselves and their families on the day of judgment. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! तुम्हारे माल तुम्हें अल्लाह की याद से ग़ाफ़िल न कर दें और न तुम्हारी सन्तान ही। जो कोई ऐसा करे तो ऐसे ही लोग घाटे में रहनेवाले है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ ईमानदारों तुम्हारे माल और तुम्हारी औलाद तुमको ख़ुदा की याद से ग़ाफिल न करे और जो ऐसा करेगा तो वही लोग घाटे में रहेंगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान रखने वालो और उसकी शरीयत पर अमल करने वालो! तुम्हारे धन और तुम्हारी संतानें तुम्हें नमाज़ या इस्लाम के अन्य कर्तव्यों से गाफ़िल न करें। और जिसे उसके धन और उसकी संतान ने नमाज़ और उसके अलावा अल्लाह के अनिवार्य किए हुए अन्य कर्तव्यों से गाफ़िल कर दिया, तो वही लोग वास्तव में घाटा उठाने वाले हैं, जिन्होंने क़ियामत के दिन अपने आपको और अपने परिजनों को घाटे में डाल दिया। |
| Ayah 10 |
| عَرَبِي | وَأَنفِقوا مِن ما رَزَقناكُم مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ المَوتُ فَيَقولَ رَبِّ لَولا أَخَّرتَني إِلىٰ أَجَلٍ قَريبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِنَ الصّالِحينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waanfiqoo min ma razaqnakum min qabli an yatiya ahadakumu almawtu fayaqoola rabbi lawla akhkhartanee ila ajalin qareebin faassaddaqa waakun mina alssaliheena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa anifqoo mim maa razaqnaakum min qabli any-yaatiya ahadakumul mawtu fa yaqoola rabbi law laaa akhkhartaneee ilaaa ajalin qareebin fa assaddaqa wa akum minassaaliheen |
| English (Pickthall) | And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good". |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Spend from the wealth that Allah has provided to you before death comes to one of you and he says to his Lord: Lord, if only You would reprieve me for a short while, I would give charity from my wealth in Allah’s path and I would be one of Allah’s righteous servants whose actions are righteous. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | हमने तुम्हें जो कुछ दिया है उसमें से ख़र्च करो इससे पहले कि तुममें से किसी की मृत्यु आ जाए और उस समय वह करने लगे, "ऐ मेरे रब! तूने मुझे कुछ थोड़े समय तक और मुहलत क्यों न दी कि मैं सदक़ा (दान) करता (मुझे मुहलत दे कि मैं सदक़ा करूँ) और अच्छे लोगों में सम्मिलित हो जाऊँ।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और हमने जो कुछ तुम्हें दिया है उसमें से क़ब्ल इसके (ख़ुदा की राह में) ख़र्च कर डालो कि तुममें से किसी की मौत आ जाए तो (इसकी नौबत न आए कि) कहने लगे कि परवरदिगार तूने मुझे थोड़ी सी मोहलत और क्यों न दी ताकि ख़ैरात करता और नेकीकारों से हो जाता |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और अल्लाह की राह में उन धनों में से खर्च करो, जो अल्लाह ने तुम्हें दिए हैं, इससे पहले कि तुममें से किसी की मौत आ जाए, फिर वह अपने पालनहार से कहे : ऐ मेरे पालनहार! तूने मुझे थोड़ी-सी मोहलत क्यों न दी कि मैं अल्लाह की राह में अपना धन दान करता और अल्लाह के उन नेक बंदों में से हो जाता, जिनके कर्म नेक होते हैं। |
| Ayah 11 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفسًا إِذا جاءَ أَجَلُها ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَبيرٌ بِما تَعمَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walan yuakhkhira Allahu nafsan itha jaa ajaluha waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa lany yu 'akhkhiral laahu nafsan izaa jaaa'a ajaluhaa; wallaahu khabeerum bimaa ta'maloon |
| English (Pickthall) | But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Allah(may He be glorified), will never reprieve a soul when its time comes and its life has ended. Allah is aware of what you do. Nothing of that is hidden from Him and He will recompense you for the same, if good then with good, and if evil then with bad. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | किन्तु अल्लाह, किसी व्यक्ति को जब तक उसका नियत समय आ जाता है, कदापि मुहलत नहीं देता। और जो कुछ तुम करते हो अल्लाह उसकी पूरी ख़बर रखता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जब किसी की मौत आ जाती है तो ख़ुदा उसको हरगिज़ मोहलत नहीं देता और जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उससे ख़बरदार है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और अल्लाह किसी प्राणी को उस समय हरगिज़ मोहलत नहीं देगा, जब उसकी मृत्यु का समय आ गया और उसका जीवन बीत चुका। और अल्लाह उससे अवगत है, जो कुछ तुम करते हो। उससे तुम्हारा कोई भी काम ओझल नहीं रहता और वह तुम्हें तुम्हारे हर काम का बदला देगा। अगर भला काम है, तो भला बदला और अगर बुरा है, तो बुरा। |
