| Ayah 1 |
| عَرَبِي | يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَما فِي الأَرضِ ۖ لَهُ المُلكُ وَلَهُ الحَمدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yusabbihu lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi lahu almulku walahu alhamdu wahuwa AAala kulli shayin qadeerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yusabbihu lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi lahul mulku wa lahul hamd, wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shai 'in Qadeer |
| English (Pickthall) | All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah; unto Him belongeth Sovereignty and unto Him belongeth praise, and He is Able to do all things. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: to Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs praise: and He has power over all things. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah. To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | All created things in the heavens and all created things on earth declare Allah’s transcendence and purity from every attribute of deficiency that is not appropriate for Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him alone and there is no sovereign besides Him. Good praise is due to Him alone. He has power over all things. Nothing is outside His ability. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अल्लाह की तसबीह कर रही है हर वह चीज़ जो आकाशों में है और जो धरती में है। उसी की बादशाही है और उसी के लिए प्रशंसा है और उसे हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जो चीज़ आसमानों में है और जो चीज़ ज़मीन में है (सब) ख़ुदा ही की तस्बीह करती है उसी की बादशाहत है और तारीफ़ उसी के लिए सज़ावार है और वही हर चीज़ पर कादिर है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | आकाशों और धरती में मौजूद सभी प्राणी अल्लाह के हर प्रकार की कमी और अपूर्णता के गुणों से पवित्र होने का वर्णन करते हैं, जो उसकी महिमा के योग्य नहीं हैं। केवल उसी की बादशाहत है, इसलिए उसके सिवा कोई दूसरा बादशाह नहीं है, और उसी के लिए अच्छी प्रशंसा है, तथा वह हर चीज़ पर सर्वशक्तिमान है, कोई चीज़ उसे विवश नहीं कर सकती। |
| Ayah 2 |
| عَرَبِي | هُوَ الَّذي خَلَقَكُم فَمِنكُم كافِرٌ وَمِنكُم مُؤمِنٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ بَصيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Huwa allathee khalaqakum faminkum kafirun waminkum muminun waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Huwal lazee khalaqakum faminkum kaafirunw wa min kum mu'min ; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseer |
| English (Pickthall) | He it is Who created you, but one of you is a disbeliever and one of you is a believer, and Allah is Seer of what ye do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | It is He Who has created you; and of you are some that are Unbelievers, and some that are Believers: and Allah sees well all that ye do. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | It is He who created you, and among you is the disbeliever, and among you is the believer. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He is the One Who created you, O people. Some of you reject Him, and their destination is the Fire, and some of you have faith in Him, and their destination is Paradise. Allah sees what you do. None of your actions are hidden from Him and He will give you the recompense for them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वही है जिसने तुम्हें पैदा किया, फिर तुममें से कोई तो इनकार करनेवाला है और तुममें से कोई ईमानवाला है, और तुम जो कुछ भी करते हो अल्लाह उसे देख रहा होता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | वही तो है जिसने तुम लोगों को पैदा किया कोई तुममें काफ़िर है और कोई मोमिन और जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उसको देख रहा है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वही है, जिसने (ऐ लोगो!) तुम्हें पैदा किया। फिर तुममें से कोई उसके साथ कुफ़्र करने वाला है और उसका ठिकाना जहन्नम है, तथा तुममें से कोई उसपर ईमान रखने वाला है और उसका ठिकाना जन्नत है। और तुम जो कुछ भी करते हो, अल्लाह उसे खूब जानने वाला है, उससे तुम्हारा कोई काम छिपा नहीं है और वह तुम्हें उसका बदला देगा। |
| Ayah 3 |
| عَرَبِي | خَلَقَ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضَ بِالحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُم فَأَحسَنَ صُوَرَكُم ۖ وَإِلَيهِ المَصيرُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Khalaqa alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi wasawwarakum faahsana suwarakum wailayhi almaseeru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Khalaqas samaawaati wal arda bilhaqqi wa sawwarakum fa ahsana suwarakum wa ilaihil maseer |
| English (Pickthall) | He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He shaped you and made good your shapes, and unto Him is the journeying. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | He has created the heavens and the earth in just proportions, and has given you shape, and made your shapes beautiful: and to Him is the final Goal. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He created the heavens and He created the earth with truth. He did not create them in vain. He formed you, O people - and made your forms beautiful as a favour and bounty from Him. If he wished, He could have made them ugly. To Him alone is the return on the Day of Judgement and He will give you the recompense of your actions, if good then with good, and if evil then with bad. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उसने आकाशों और धरती को हक़ के साथ पैदा किया और तुम्हारा रूप बनाया, तो बहुत ही अच्छे बनाए तुम्हारे रूप और उसी की ओर अन्ततः जाना है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | उसी ने सारे आसमान व ज़मीन को हिकमत व मसलेहत से पैदा किया और उसी ने तुम्हारी सूरतें बनायीं तो सबसे अच्छी सूरतें बनायीं और उसी की तरफ लौटकर जाना हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | उसने आकाशों और धरती को सत्य के साथ पैदा किया, उन्हें व्यर्थ नहीं बनाया। तथा उसने (ऐ लोगो!) तुम्हारे रूप बनाए, तो अपने उपकार और अनुग्रह से तुम्हारे रूप अच्छे बनाए। हालाँकि, यदि वह चाहता, तो उन्हें बदसूरत बना देता। और क़ियामत के दिन केवल उसी की ओर लौटकर जाना है। फिर वह तुम्हें तुम्हारे कर्मों का बदला देगा। यदि अच्छा काम है, तो अच्छा बदला और यदि बुरा है, तो बुरा। |
| Ayah 4 |
| عَرَبِي | يَعلَمُ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ وَيَعلَمُ ما تُسِرّونَ وَما تُعلِنونَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَليمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدورِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | YaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati waalardi wayaAAlamu ma tusirroona wama tuAAlinoona waAllahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Ya'lamu maa fis samaawaati wal ardi wa ya'lamu maa tusirroona wa maa tu'linoon; wallaahu 'Aleemum bizaatis sudoor |
| English (Pickthall) | He knoweth all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He knoweth what ye conceal and what ye publish. And Allah is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He knows whatever is in the heavens and He knows whatever is on earth. He knows the actions that you conceal and those that you reveal. Allah is the Knower of the good or bad that the hearts contain. Nothing of that is hidden from Him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वह जानता है जो कुछ आकाशों और धरती में है और उसे भी जानता है जो कुछ तुम छिपाते हो और जो कुछ तुम प्रकट करते हो। अल्लाह तो सीनों में छिपी बात तक को जानता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जो कुछ सारे आसमान व ज़मीन में है वह (सब) जानता है और जो कुछ तुम छुपा कर या खुल्लम खुल्ला करते हो उससे (भी) वाकिफ़ है और ख़ुदा तो दिल के भेद तक से आगाह है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वह जानता है जो कुछ आकाशों में है और वह जानता है जो कुछ धरती में है, तथा वह जानता है जो काम तुम छिपाकर करते और वह जानता है जो काम तुम खुल्लम-खुल्ला करते हो। और अल्लाह दिलों के अंदर छिपी भलाई या बुराई को भी जानता है, उससे कुछ भी छिपा नहीं है। |
| Ayah 5 |
| عَرَبِي | أَلَم يَأتِكُم نَبَأُ الَّذينَ كَفَروا مِن قَبلُ فَذاقوا وَبالَ أَمرِهِم وَلَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Alam yatikum nabao allatheena kafaroo min qablu fathaqoo wabala amrihim walahum AAathabun aleemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Alam yaatikum naba'ul lazeena kafaroo min qablu fazaaqoo wabaala amrihim wa lahum 'azaabun aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | Hath not the story reached you of those who disbelieved of old and so did taste the ill-effects of their conduct, and theirs will be a painful doom. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Has not the story reached you, of those who rejected Faith aforetime? So they tasted the evil result of their conduct; and they had a grievous Penalty. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Has the news of the nations who denied before you not reached you, O idolaters - such as the people of Noah, the Ad, the Thamud and others. They tasted the punishment of the disbelief they had perpetrated in the world, and in the afterlife they will receive a painful punishment. Indeed, that has come to you. So take a lesson from their eventual outcome and repent to Allah before that which befell them befalls you. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | क्या तुम्हें उन लोगों की ख़बर नहीं पहुँची जिन्होंने इससे पहले इनकार किया था, फिर उन्होंने अपने कर्म के वबाल का मज़ा चखा और उनके लिए एक दुखद यातना भी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | क्या तुम्हें उनकी ख़बर नहीं पहुँची जिन्होंने (तुम से) पहले कुफ़्र किया तो उन्होने अपने काम की सज़ा का (दुनिया में) मज़ा चखा और (आख़िरत में तो) उनके लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या तुम्हारे पास (ऐ मुश्रिको) पिछली झुठलाने वाली जातियों, जैसे नूह अलैहिस्सलाम की जाति तथा आद और समूद इत्यादि की खबर नहीं पहुँची है, जिन्होंने इस दुनिया में अपने कुफ़्र की सज़ा का स्वाद चखा और आख़िरत में उनके लिए एक दर्दनाक यातना है?! क्यों नहीं, तुम्हारे पास उनकी खबर आ चुकी है। अतः उनके परिणाम से नसीहत प्राप्त करो और अल्लाह के सामने तौबा कर लो, इससे पहले कि तुम्हारे साथ भी वही कुछ हो, जो उनके साथ हुआ था। |
| Ayah 6 |
| عَرَبِي | ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ كانَت تَأتيهِم رُسُلُهُم بِالبَيِّناتِ فَقالوا أَبَشَرٌ يَهدونَنا فَكَفَروا وَتَوَلَّوا ۚ وَاستَغنَى اللَّهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَميدٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thalika biannahu kanat tateehim rusuluhum bialbayyinati faqaloo abasharun yahdoonana fakafaroo watawallaw waistaghna Allahu waAllahu ghaniyyun hameedun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Zaalika bi annahoo kaanat taateehim Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati faqaaloo a basharuny yahdoonanaa fakafaroo wa tawallaw; wastaghnal laah; wallaahu ghaniyyun hameed |
| English (Pickthall) | That was because their messengers (from Allah) kept coming unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they said: Shall mere mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and turned away, and Allah was independent (of them). Allah is Absolute, Owner of Praise. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Signs, but they said: "Shall (mere) human beings direct us?" So they rejected (the Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear evidences, but they said, "Shall human beings guide us?" and disbelieved and turned away. And Allah dispensed [with them]; and Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | That punishment which came on them, only came on them on account of the fact that their messengers used to bring clear evidence and glaring proof from Allah, but they said in denial of the fact that messengers could be from the human race: ‘Are human beings going to guide us to the truth?!’ So they disbelieved and turned away from having faith in them. But they did not harm Allah at all. Allah is in no need of their faith and obedience, because their obedience does not increase him in anything. Allah is Self-Sufficient and in no need of His servants. He is praiseworthy in His statements and actions. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यह इस कारण कि उनके पास उनके रसूल स्पष्ट प्रमाण लेकर आते रहे, किन्तु उन्होंने कहा, "क्या मनुष्य हमें मार्ग दिखाएँगे?" इस प्रकार उन्होंने इनकार किया और मुँह फेर लिया, तब अल्लाह भी उनसे बेपरवाह हो गया। अल्लाह तो है ही निस्पृह, अपने आप में स्वयं प्रशंसित |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये इस वजह से कि उनके पास पैग़म्बर वाज़ेए व रौशन मौजिज़े लेकर आ चुके थे तो कहने लगे कि क्या आदमी हमारे हादी बनेंगें ग़रज़ ये लोग काफ़िर हो बैठे और मुँह फेर बैठे और ख़ुदा ने भी (उनकी) परवाह न की और ख़ुदा तो बे परवा सज़ावारे हम्द है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह यातना उन्हें इस कारण पहुँची कि उनके रसूल उनके पास अल्लाह की ओर से स्पष्ट प्रमाणों और प्रत्यक्ष तर्कों के साथ आते थे, तो उन्होंने रसूल के मानव जाति से होने का खंडन करते हुए कहा : क्या मनुष्य हमें सत्य का मार्गदर्शन करेंगे?!इस तरह उन्होंने इनकार किया और उनपर ईमान लाने से उपेक्षा किया। लेकिन उन्होंने अल्लाह को कोई नुकसान नहीं पहुँचाया। और अल्लाह ने उनके ईमान और आज्ञाकारिता की परवाह न की, क्योंकि उनकी आज्ञाकारिता उसे किसी चीज़ में बढ़ाती नहीं है। और अल्लाह बेनियाज़ है, अपने बंदों का ज़रूरतमंद नहीं है, अपनी बातों और कार्यों में प्रशंसनीय है। |
| Ayah 7 |
| عَرَبِي | زَعَمَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا أَن لَن يُبعَثوا ۚ قُل بَلىٰ وَرَبّي لَتُبعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِما عَمِلتُم ۚ وَذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | ZaAAama allatheena kafaroo an lan yubAAathoo qul bala warabbee latubAAathunna thumma latunabbaonna bima AAamiltum wathalika AAala Allahi yaseerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Za'amal lazeena kafarooo al-lany yub'asoo; qul balaa wa rabbee latub'asunna summa latunabba'unna bimaa 'amiltum; wa zaalika 'alal laahi yaseer |
| English (Pickthall) | Those who disbelieve assert that they will not be raised again. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Yea, verily, by my Lord! ye will be raised again and then ye will be informed of what ye did; and that is easy for Allah. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah, is easy." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who disbelieved in Allah claimed that Allah will not bring them back to life after their death. Say, O Messenger, to these people who deny resurrection: Indeed, by my Lord, you will be resurrected on the day of judgment. Then you will be told about what you used to do in the world. Resurrection is easy for Allah, for He had created you the first time. Thus, He is able to bring you back to life after your death for the reckoning and recompense. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया उन्होंने दावा किया वे मरने के पश्चात कदापि न उठाए जाएँगे। कह दो, "क्यों नहीं, मेरे रब की क़सम! तुम अवश्य उठाए जाओगे, फिर जो कुछ तुमने किया है उससे तुम्हें अवगत करा दिया जाएगा। और अल्लाह के लिए यह अत्यन्त सरल है।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | काफ़िरों का ख्याल ये है कि ये लोग दोबारा न उठाए जाएँगे (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो वहाँ अपने परवरदिगार की क़सम तुम ज़रूर उठाए जाओगे फिर जो जो काम तुम करते रहे वह तुम्हें बता देगा और ये तो ख़ुदा पर आसान है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अल्लाह का इनकार करने वालों ने समझ रखा है कि अल्लाह उनकी मृत्यु के बाद उन्हें जीवित करके नहीं उठाएगा। (ऐ रसूल) आप इन पुनर्जीवन का इनकार करने वालों से कह दें : क्यों नहीं, मेरे पालनहार की क़सम, निश्चय तुम क़ियामत के दिन ज़रूर उठाए जाओगे। फिर निश्चय तुम दुनिया में किए हुए कर्मो से अवगत कराए जाओगे। और यह पुनर्जीवित करके उठाना अल्लाह के लिए आसान है। क्योंकि उसने तुम्हें पहली बार पैदा किया है, अतः वह मौत के बाद तुम्हें हिसाब और बदले के लिए पुनः जीवित करके उठाने की भी शक्ति रखता है। |
| Ayah 8 |
| عَرَبِي | فَآمِنوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ وَالنّورِ الَّذي أَنزَلنا ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ خَبيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faaminoo biAllahi warasoolihi waalnnoori allathee anzalna waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa-aaminoo billaahi wa rasoolihee wannooril lazeee anzalnaa; wallaahu bima ta'maloona khabeer |
| English (Pickthall) | So believe in Allah and His messenger and the light which We have revealed. And Allah is Informed of what ye do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Believe, therefore, in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Light which we have sent down. And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Qur'an which We have sent down. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So have faith, O people, in Allah and have faith in His Messenger. Have faith in the Qur’ān which I revealed to My messenger. Allah is aware of what you do. None of your actions are hidden from Him and He will give you the recompense for them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः ईमान लाओ, अल्लाह पर और उसके रसूल पर और उस प्रकाश पर जिसे हमने अवतरित किया है। तुम जो कुछ भी करते हो अल्लाह उसकी पूरी ख़बर रखता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो तुम ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल पर उसी नूर पर ईमान लाओ जिसको हमने नाज़िल किया है और जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उससे ख़बरदार है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो तुम (ऐ लोगो) अल्लाह पर ईमान ले आओ और उसके रसूल पर ईमान ले आओ, और उस क़ुरआन पर ईमान ले आओ जिसे हमने अपने रसूल पर उतारा है। और अल्लाह तुम्हारे कार्यों से अवगत है। उससे तुम्हारा कोई काम छिपा नहीं है। और वह तुम्हें तुम्हारे कर्मों का बदला देगा। |
| Ayah 9 |
| عَرَبِي | يَومَ يَجمَعُكُم لِيَومِ الجَمعِ ۖ ذٰلِكَ يَومُ التَّغابُنِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعمَل صالِحًا يُكَفِّر عَنهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُدخِلهُ جَنّاتٍ تَجري مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهارُ خالِدينَ فيها أَبَدًا ۚ ذٰلِكَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yawma yajmaAAukum liyawmi aljamAAi thalika yawmu alttaghabuni waman yumin biAllahi wayaAAmal salihan yukaffir AAanhu sayyiatihi wayudkhilhu jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha abadan thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Ywma yajma'ukum li yawmil jam'i zaalika yawmut taghaabun; wa many-yumim billaahi wa ya'mal saalihany yukaffir 'anhu sayyi aatihee wa yudkhilhu jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaaa abadaa; zaalikal fawzul 'azeem |
| English (Pickthall) | The day when He shall gather you unto the Day of Assembling, that will be a day of mutual disillusion. And whoso believeth in Allah and doeth right, He will remit from him his evil deeds and will bring him unto Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,- He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Remember, O Messenger, the day when Allah will gather you on the Day of Judgement to give you the recompense for your actions. That is the day when the loss of the disbelievers will become clear, as the believers will inherit the homes of the people of the Fire in Paradise, and the people of the Fire will inherit the homes of the people of Paradise in the Fire. Those who have faith in Allah and do righteous deeds, Allah will remit their sins from them and enter them into gardens, under the palaces and trees of which rivers flow, to live in them forever and never to come out, the bliss of which will not end. That which they attained is the great success, which no other success can come close to. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | इकट्ठा होने के दिन वह तुम्हें इकट्ठा करेगा, वह परस्पर लाभ-हानि का दिन होगा। जो भी अल्लाह पर ईमान लाए और अच्छा कर्म करे उसकी बुराईयाँ अल्लाह उससे दूर कर देगा और उसे ऐसे बाग़ों में दाख़िल करेगा जिनके नीचे नहरें बह रही होंगी, उनमें वे सदैव रहेंगे। यही बड़ी सफलता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जब वह क़यामत के दिन तुम सबको जमा करेगा फिर यही हार जीत का दिन होगा और जो शख़्श ख़ुदा पर ईमान लाए और अच्छा काम करे वह उससे उसकी बुराइयाँ दूर कर देगा और उसको (बेहिश्त में) उन बाग़ों में दाख़िल करेगा जिनके नीचे नहरें जारी हैं वह उनमें अबादुल आबाद हमेशा रहेगा, यही तो बड़ी कामयाबी है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ रसूल!) उस दिन को याद करें, जिस दिन अल्लाह तुम्हें क़ियामत के दिन एकत्रित करेगा, ताकि तुम्हें तुम्हारे कर्मों का बदला दे। जिस दिन काफ़िरों की हानि और उनका घाटा सामने आ जाएगा। क्योंकि ईमान वाले जन्नत के अंदर जहन्नमियों के घरों के वारिस बनेंगे, और जहन्नमी जहन्नम के अंदर जन्नतियों के ठिकानों के वारिस होंगे। और जो अल्लाह पर ईमान लाएगा और अच्छे कार्य करेगा, अल्लाह उसकी बुराइयों को मिटा देगा और ऐसी जन्नतों में दाख़िल करेगा, जिनके महलों और पेड़ों के नीचे से नहरें बह रही होंगी। वे वहाँ हमेशा रहेंगे। न वे कभी वहाँ से निकलेंगे और न कभी उनसे उसकी नेमतें बाधित होंगी। यह जो उन्होंने प्राप्त किया, वही महान सफलता है, जिसकी बराबरी कोई अन्य सफलता नहीं कर सकती। |
| Ayah 10 |
| عَرَبِي | وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا وَكَذَّبوا بِآياتِنا أُولٰئِكَ أَصحابُ النّارِ خالِدينَ فيها ۖ وَبِئسَ المَصيرُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu alnnari khalideena feeha wabisa almaseeru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wallazeena kafaroo wa kazzaboo bi aayaaatinaaa ulaaa'ika ashaabun naari khaalideena feehaa wa bi'sal maseer |
| English (Pickthall) | But those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, such are owners of the Fire; they will abide therein - a hapless journey's end! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But those who reject Faith and treat Our Signs as falsehoods, they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein for aye: and evil is that Goal. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of the Fire, abiding eternally therein; and wretched is the destination. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who disbelieved in Allah and reject My verses, which I revealed to My messenger, they are the people of the Fire who will remain there forever. What an evil destination is theirs! |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | रहे वे लोग जिन्होंने इनकार किया और हमारी आयतों को झुठलाया, वही आगवाले है जिसमें वे सदैव रहेंगे। अन्ततः लौटकर पहुँचने की वह बहुत ही बुरी जगह है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जो लोग काफ़िर हैं और हमारी आयतों को झुठलाते रहे यही लोग जहन्नुमी हैं कि हमेशा उसी में रहेंगे और वह क्या बुरा ठिकाना है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह का इनकार किया और हमारी उन आयतों को झुठलाया, जिन्हें हमने अपने रसूल पर उतारा है, वही लोग जहन्नमी हैं, जो उसमें हमेशा रहने वाले हैं। और उनका ठिकाना बहुत बुरा ठिकाना है। |
| Ayah 11 |
| عَرَبِي | ما أَصابَ مِن مُصيبَةٍ إِلّا بِإِذنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهدِ قَلبَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ عَليمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ma asaba min museebatin illa biithni Allahi waman yumin biAllahi yahdi qalbahu waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Maaa asaaba mim musee batin illaa bi-iznil laah; wa many yu'mim billaahi yahdi qalbah; wallaahu bikulli shai;in Aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | No calamity befalleth save by Allah's leave. And whosoever believeth in Allah, He guideth his heart. And Allah is Knower of all things. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah: and if any one believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | किसी को उसकी जान, या उसके धन, या उसकी संतान में जो भी विपत्ति पहुँचती है, वह अल्लाह के निर्णय और उसकी नियति के अनुसार होती है। और जो अल्लाह, उसके निर्णय और उसकी नियति पर ईमान लाएगा, अल्लाह उसके दिल को अपने आदेश के आगे समर्पण करने तथा अपने निर्णय से संतुष्ट होने की तौफ़ीक़ प्रदान करेगा। और अल्लाह हर वस्तु को भली-भाँति जानता है। उससे कुछ भी छिपा नहीं है। |

| عَرَبِي | وَأَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطيعُوا الرَّسولَ ۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّيتُم فَإِنَّما عَلىٰ رَسولِنَا البَلاغُ المُبينُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | WaateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo alrrasoola fain tawallaytum fainnama AAala rasoolina albalaghu almubeenu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa atee'ul laaha wa atee'ur Rasool; fa in tawallaitum fa innamaa 'alaa Rasoolinal balaaghul mubeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Obey Allah and obey His messenger; but if ye turn away, then the duty of Our messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | So obey Allah, and obey His Messenger: but if ye turn back, the duty of Our Messenger is but to proclaim (the Message) clearly and openly. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Follow Allah and follow the Messenger. If you turn away from what the Messenger brought to you, then the sin of such turning away is to your detriment. The Messenger’s duty is only to convey what I have instructed him to convey, and He has conveyed what he was instructed to convey. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अल्लाह की आज्ञा का पालन करो और रसूल की आज्ञा का पालन करो, किन्तु यदि तुम मुँह मोड़ते हो तो हमारे रसूल पर बस स्पष्ट रूप से (संदेश) पहुँचा देने की ज़िम्मेदारी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और ख़ुदा की इताअत करो और रसूल की इताअत करो फिर अगर तुमने मुँह फेरा तो हमारे रसूल पर सिर्फ पैग़ाम का वाज़ेए करके पहुँचा देना फर्ज़ है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा अल्लाह का आज्ञापालन करो और रसूल का आज्ञापालन करो। फिर यदि तुम उसके रसूल के लाए हुए संदेश से मुँह फेर लो, तो इस विमुखता का पाप तुम पर होगा। और हमारे रसूल का दायित्व केवल उस संदेश को पहुँचा देना है, जिसे पहुँचाने का हमने उन्हें आदेश दिया गया है। और उन्होंने वह संदेश तुम्हें पहुँचा भी दिया है, जिसे पहुँचाने का उन्हें आदेश दिया गया था। |
| Ayah 13 |
| عَرَبِي | اللَّهُ لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَليَتَوَكَّلِ المُؤمِنونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allahu la ilaha illa huwa waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allaahu laaa ilaaha illaa Hoo; wa 'alal laahi falyata wakkalil mu'minoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Allah! There is no Allah save Him. In Allah, therefore, let believers put their trust. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Allah! There is no god but He: and on Allah, therefore, let the Believers put their trust. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Allah - there is no deity except Him. And upon Allah let the believers rely. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Allah is the Being deserving of worship. There is no other being deserving of worship besides Him. Let the believers place their reliance in Allah alone in all their affairs. |

| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا إِنَّ مِن أَزواجِكُم وَأَولادِكُم عَدُوًّا لَكُم فَاحذَروهُم ۚ وَإِن تَعفوا وَتَصفَحوا وَتَغفِروا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo inna min azwajikum waawladikum AAaduwwan lakum faihtharoohum wain taAAfoo watasfahoo wataghfiroo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanooo inna min azwaaji kum wa awlaadikum 'aduwwal lakum fahzaroohum; wa in ta'foo wa tasfahoo wa taghfiroo fa innal laaha ghafoorur Raheem |
| English (Pickthall) | O ye who believe! Lo! among your wives and your children there are enemies for you, therefor beware of them. And if ye efface and overlook and forgive, then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O you who have faith in Allah, and who act on what He has ordained for you, among your wives and your children there is an enemy of yours, because they will distract you from the remembrance of Allah and striving in His path and they will discourage you. So be careful of their having an effect on you. If you overlook, ignore and cover up their mistakes, then Allah will forgive your sins and have mercy on you. The recompense will be of the same kind as the deed. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ ईमान लानेवालो, तुम्हारी पत्नियों और तुम्हारी सन्तान में से कुछ ऐसे भी है जो तुम्हारे शत्रु है। अतः उनसे होशियार रहो। और यदि तुम माफ़ कर दो और टाल जाओ और क्षमा कर दो निश्चय ही अल्लाह बड़ा क्षमाशील, अत्यन्त दयावान है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ ईमानदारों तुम्हारी बीवियों और तुम्हारी औलाद में से बाज़ तुम्हारे दुशमन हैं तो तुम उनसे बचे रहो और अगर तुम माफ कर दो दरगुज़र करो और बख्श दो तो ख़ुदा बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ अल्लाह पर ईमान रखने वालो और उसकी शरीयत पर अमल करने वालो! निश्चय तुम्हारी पत्नियों और तुम्हारी संतान में से कुछ तुम्हारे दुश्मन हैं; क्योंकि वे तुम्हें अल्लाह के ज़िक्र और उसके मार्ग में जिहाद से गाफ़िल कर देते हैं और तुम्हें हतोत्साहित करते हैं। अतः सावधान रहो कि कहीं वे तुम्हें प्रभावित न कर दें। और यदि तुम उनकी गलतियों को माफ़ कर दो, उन्हें नज़रअंदाज़ कर दो और उनपर पर्दा डाल दो, तो अल्लाह तुम्हारे पापों को क्षमा कर देगा और तुम पर दया करेगा। और जैसा काम होता है, वैसा ही फल मिलता है। |
| Ayah 15 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنَّما أَموالُكُم وَأَولادُكُم فِتنَةٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ أَجرٌ عَظيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Innama amwalukum waawladukum fitnatun waAllahu AAindahu ajrun AAatheemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innamaa amwaalukum wa awlaadukum fitnah; wallaahu 'indahooo ajrun 'azeem |
| English (Pickthall) | Your wealth and your children are only a temptation, whereas Allah! with Him is an immense reward. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Your riches and your children may be but a trial: but in the Presence of Allah, is the highest, Reward. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Your wealth and your children are a trial and test for you. They may entice you to earn the unlawful and leave out following Allah. Allah has with Him great reward for those who give preference to following Him over following their children and becoming occupied with wealth. This great recompense is Paradise. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निश्चय तुम्हारे धन तथा तुम्हारी संतान तुम्हारे लिए परीक्षा और आज़माइश हैं। क्योंकि वे तुम्हें हराम कमाई करने और अल्लाह के आज्ञापालन को छोड़ने के लिए प्रेरित कर सकते हैं। और अल्लाह के पास उसके लिए एक महान प्रतिफल है, जो संतान की आज्ञाकारिता पर तथा धन में व्यस्तता पर अल्लाह की आज्ञाकारिता को प्राथमिकता दे।और वह बड़ा प्रतिफल जन्नत है। |
| Ayah 16 |
| عَرَبِي | فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا استَطَعتُم وَاسمَعوا وَأَطيعوا وَأَنفِقوا خَيرًا لِأَنفُسِكُم ۗ وَمَن يوقَ شُحَّ نَفسِهِ فَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُفلِحونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faittaqoo Allaha ma istataAAtum waismaAAoo waateeAAoo waanfiqoo khayran lianfusikum waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faolaika humu almuflihoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fattaqul laaha mastat'tum wasma'oo wa atee'oo waanfiqoo khairal li anfusikum; wa many-yooqa shuha nafsihee fa-ulaaa'ika humul muflihoon |
| English (Pickthall) | So keep your duty to Allah as best ye can, and listen, and obey, and spend; that is better for your souls. And whoso is saved from his own greed, such are the successful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | So fear Allah as much as ye can; listen and obey and spend in charity for the benefit of your own soul and those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So be mindful of Allah by fulfilling His instructions and avoiding His prohibitions as far as you can follow Him. Listen and follow Allah and His messenger. Spend your wealth, which Allah has provided to you, in avenues of good. Those whom Allah has protected from the greed of their souls, they are the ones who will attain what they desire and who will be saved from what they fear. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः जहाँ तक तुम्हारे बस में हो अल्लाह का डर रखो और सुनो और आज्ञापालन करो और ख़र्च करो अपनी भलाई के लिए। और जो अपने मन के लोभ एवं कृपणता से सुरक्षित रहा तो ऐसे ही लोग सफल है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो जहाँ तक तुम से हो सके ख़ुदा से डरते रहो और (उसके एहकाम) सुनो और मानों और अपनी बेहतरी के वास्ते (उसकी राह में) ख़र्च करो और जो शख़्श अपने नफ्स की हिरस से बचा लिया गया तो ऐसे ही लोग मुरादें पाने वाले हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अतः अल्लाह से, उसके आदेशों का पालन करके और उसकी मना की हुई बातों से बचकर, डरते रहो, जितना तुम उसका आज्ञापालन करने में सक्षम हो। तथा अल्लाह एवं उसके रसूल की बात सुनो और उनका पालन करो और अल्लाह के दिए हुए धन को भलाई के रास्तों में खर्च करो। और जिसे अल्लाह उसके दिल की लालच (कंजूसी) से सुरक्षित रखे, दरअसल वही लोग अपनी मनोकांक्षा की पूर्ति में सफल होने वाले और उस चीज़ से मुक्ति पाने वाले हैं, जिससे वे डरते हैं। |

| عَرَبِي | إِن تُقرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرضًا حَسَنًا يُضاعِفهُ لَكُم وَيَغفِر لَكُم ۚ وَاللَّهُ شَكورٌ حَليمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | In tuqridoo Allaha qardan hasanan yudaAAifhu lakum wayaghfir lakum waAllahu shakoorun haleemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | In tuqridul laaha qardan hasanany yudd'ifhu lakum wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu Shakoorun Haleem |
| English (Pickthall) | If ye lend unto Allah a goodly loan, He will double it for you and will forgive you, for Allah is Responsive, Clement, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | If ye loan to Allah, a beautiful loan, He will double it to your (credit), and He will grant you Forgiveness: for Allah is most Ready to appreciate (service), Most Forbearing,- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | If you loan Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And Allah is Most Appreciative and Forbearing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | If you give Allah a good loan, by spending your wealth in His path, He will multiply the reward for you by making each good deed equal to ten of its like, up until seven hundred times or even more, and He will overlook your sins. Allah is Appreciative and gives huge reward for little action, and He is Forbearing and does not rush to punish. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यदि तुम अल्लाह को अच्छा ऋण दो तो वह उसे तुम्हारे लिए कई गुना बढ़ा देगा और तुम्हें क्षमा कर देगा। अल्लाह बड़ा गुणग्राहक और सहनशील है, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | अगर तुम ख़ुदा को कर्जे हसना दोगे तो वह उसको तुम्हारे वास्ते दूना कर देगा और तुमको बख्श देगा और ख़ुदा तो बड़ा क़द्रदान व बुर्दबार है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अगर तुम अल्लाह को अच्छा ऋण दोगे, इस प्रकार कि उसके रास्ते में अपना धन खर्च करोगे, तो वह एक नेकी को दस से सात सौ गुना, बल्कि बहुत अधिक गुना करके तुम्हारे प्रतिफल को बढ़ा देगा और तुम्हारे पापों को क्षमा कर देगा। अल्लाह बहुत गुणग्राही है, वह थोड़े से काम के लिए बहुत अधिक प्रतिफल देता है। अत्यंत सहनशील है, सज़ा देने में जल्दी नहीं करता। |

| عَرَبِي | عالِمُ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهادَةِ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | AAalimu alghaybi waalshshahadati alAAazeezu alhakeemu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | 'Aalimul-Ghaibi wash-shahaadatil 'Azeezul Hakeem |
| English (Pickthall) | Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, the Mighty, the Wise. |
