| عَرَبِي | قُل هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul huwa Allahu ahadun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul huwal laahu ahad |
| English (Pickthall) | Say: He is Allah, the One! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Say, O Messenger: He is Allah who is alone in being a deity. There is no deity except Him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कहो, "वह अल्लाह यकता है, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि ख़ुदा एक है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) आप कह दें : वह अल्लाह पूज्यता में अकेला है, उसके अलावा कोई पूज्य नहीं है। |

| عَرَبِي | اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allahu alssamadu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allah hus-samad |
| English (Pickthall) | Allah, the eternally Besought of all! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Allah, the Eternal Refuge. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He is the master to whom belongs all sovereignty and perfect, beautiful qualities. The one to whom all creation turn to. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अल्लाह निरपेक्ष (और सर्वाधार) है, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ख़ुदा बरहक़ बेनियाज़ है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अल्लाह वह सरदार है, जिसपर पूर्णता और सुंदरता के गुणों में सरदारी का अंत है, जिसके सामने सभी प्राणी अपनी ज़रूरतें रखती हैं। |

| عَرَبِي | لَم يَلِد وَلَم يولَد |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Lam yalid walam yooladu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Lam yalid wa lam yoolad |
| English (Pickthall) | He begetteth not nor was begotten. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | He neither begets nor is born, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The one who did not give birth to anyone, nor did anyone give birth to Him. So He has no offspring - may He be glorified - nor any parent. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | न वह जनिता है और न जन्य, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | न उसने किसी को जना न उसको किसी ने जना, |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिसने न किसी को जन्म दिया और न उसे किसी ने जन्म दिया। अतः अल्लाह की न कोई संतान है और न पिता। |
| Ayah 4 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلَم يَكُن لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahadun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad |
| English (Pickthall) | And there is none comparable unto Him. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And there is none like unto Him. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Nor is there to Him any equivalent." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Nor does He have any equal from His creation. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और न कोई उसका समकक्ष है।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और उसका कोई हमसर नहीं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उसकी मख़लूक़ में कोई भी उसके समान नहीं है। |
