| عَرَبِي | تَبارَكَ الَّذي بِيَدِهِ المُلكُ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ |

| English (Pickthall) | Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | उस अल्लाह की भलाई बहुत अधिक और महान है, जिस अकेले के हाथ में सारा राज्य है और वह सब कुछ करने में सक्षम है, कोई चीज़ उसकी शक्ति से बाहर नहीं है। |

| عَرَبِي | الَّذي خَلَقَ سَبعَ سَماواتٍ طِباقًا ۖ ما تَرىٰ في خَلقِ الرَّحمٰنِ مِن تَفاوُتٍ ۖ فَارجِعِ البَصَرَ هَل تَرىٰ مِن فُطورٍ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allathee khalaqa sabAAa samawatin tibaqan ma tara fee khalqi alrrahmani min tafawutin fairjiAAi albasara hal tara min futoorin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allazee khalaqa sab'a samaawaatin tibaaqam maa taraa fee khalqir rahmaani min tafaawutin farji'il basara hal taraa min futoor |
| English (Pickthall) | Who hath created seven heavens in harmony. Thou (Muhammad) canst see no fault in the Beneficent One's creation; then look again: Canst thou see any rifts? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks? |
| English (Qarai) | He created seven heavens in layers. You do not see any discordance in the creation of the All-beneficent. Look again! Do you see any flaw? |
| English (Hilali) | Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?" |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The one who created the seven heavens, each one layered above the one before it without touching it. O observer! You will not witness any discrepancy or misappropriation in the creation of Allah. So look again, do you see cracks or splits? You will never see them; you will only see a perfect, masterful creation. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिसने ऊपर-तले सात आकाश बनाए। तुम रहमान की रचना में कोई असंगति और विषमता न देखोगे। फिर नज़र डालो, "क्या तुम्हें कोई बिगाड़ दिखाई देता है?" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जिसने सात आसमान तले ऊपर बना डाले भला तुझे ख़ुदा की आफ़रिनश में कोई कसर नज़र आती है तो फिर ऑंख उठाकर देख भला तुझे कोई शिग़ाफ़ नज़र आता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिसने सात आकाश बनाए, प्रत्येक आकाश उसके पहले के ऊपर एक परत के रूप में इस तरह है कि एक आसमान और दूसरे आसमान के बीच कोई मिलन नहीं है। (ऐ देखने वाले) तुम अल्लाह की रचना में कोई असमानता या असंगति नहीं देखोगे। तुम फिर से नज़र दौड़ाओ क्या तुम्हें कोई दरार या फटन दिखाई देती है?! तुम्हें इस तरह की कोई चीज़ हरगिज़ नज़र नहीं आएगी, बल्कि तुम एक सुदृढ़ और मज़बूत रचना देखोगे। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૩. જેણે સાત આકાશો તળ પર તળ બનાવ્યા, તમે અલ્લાહ કૃપાળુના સર્જનમાં કોઇ અવ્યવસ્થા નહી જુઓ, ફરીવાર આકાશ તરફ જુઓ, શું કોઇ તિરાડ પણ દેખાઇ છે? |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ३) जसले माथि सातवटा आकाशहरू बनायो त हेर्नेवाला अल्लाह–रहमानको रचनामा कुनै विसंगति देख्ने छैन । दोस्रो पटक दृष्टि उठाएर हेर के कुनै चिरा दृष्टिगोचर हुन्छ ? |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | जिसने ऊपर-तले सात आकाश बनाए। तुम अत्यंत दयावान् की रचना में कोई असंगति नहीं देखोगे। फिर पुनः देखो, क्या तुम्हें कोई दरार दिखाई देता है? |
| Roman Urdu (Maududi) | Jisne teh-bar-teh saat (seven) aasman banaye tum Rehman ki takhleeq(creation) mein kisi kism ki be-rabti (incongruity) na paogey phir palat kar dekho, kahin tumhein koi khalal (flaw) nazar aata hai |

| عَرَبِي | ثُمَّ ارجِعِ البَصَرَ كَرَّتَينِ يَنقَلِب إِلَيكَ البَصَرُ خاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسيرٌ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thumma irjiAAi albasara karratayni yanqalib ilayka albasaru khasian wahuwa haseerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Summar ji'il basara karrataini yanqalib ilaikal basaru khaasi'anw wa huwa haseer |
| English (Pickthall) | Then look again and yet again, thy sight will return unto thee weakened and made dim. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Again turn thy vision a second time: (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, in a state worn out. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued. |
| English (Qarai) | Look again, once more. Your look will return to you humbled and weary. |
| English (Hilali) | Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Then, look again time after time; your eyesight will return humiliated without having found any defect or fault in the creation of the heaven; exhausted without being able to see. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | फिर दोबारा नज़र डालो। निगाह रद्द होकर और थक-हारकर तुम्हारी ओर पलट आएगी |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | फिर दुबारा ऑंख उठा कर देखो तो (हर बार तेरी) नज़र नाकाम और थक कर तेरी तरफ पलट आएगी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर तुम बार-बार नज़र डालो, तुम्हारी नज़र आकाश की रचना में कोई दोष या खराबी देखे बिना अपमानित होकर तुम्हारी ओर लौट आएगी और वह थकी हुई होगी, उसे कुछ दिखाई न देगा। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૪. વારંવાર તેને જુઓ, તમારી નજર પોતાની તરફ અપમાનિત, થાકીને પાછી આવશે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ४) फेरि दोहोर्याएर दुई–दुई पटक देखिलेऊ, तिम्रो दृष्टि तिम्रो तर्फ अपमानित र कमजोर भएर फर्की आउनेछ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | फिर बार-बार निगाह दौड़ाओ। निगाह असफल होकर तुम्हारी ओर पलट आएगी और वह थकी हुई होगी। |

| عَرَبِي | وَلَقَد زَيَّنَّا السَّماءَ الدُّنيا بِمَصابيحَ وَجَعَلناها رُجومًا لِلشَّياطينِ ۖ وَأَعتَدنا لَهُم عَذابَ السَّعيرِ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walaqad zayyanna alssamaa alddunya bimasabeeha wajaAAalnaha rujooman lilshshayateeni waaAAtadna lahum AAathaba alssaAAeeri |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laqad zaiyannas samaaa'ad dunyaa bimasaa beeha wa ja'alnaahaa rujoomal lish shayaateeni wa a'tadnaa lahum 'azaabas sa'eer |
| English (Pickthall) | And verily We have beautified the world's heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze. |
| English (Qarai) | We have certainly adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and made them [the means of pelting] missiles against the devils, and We have prepared for them a punishment of the Blaze. |
| English (Hilali) | And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayatin (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And verily I adorned the nearest sky to the earth with shining stars, making them shoot and repelling with them the satans with them who try to eavesdrop. I have also prepared for them a blazing fire in the afterlife. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | हमने निकटवर्ती आकाश को दीपों से सजाया और उन्हें शैतानों के मार भगाने का साधन बनाया और उनके लिए हमने भड़कती आग की यातना तैयार कर रखी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और हमने नीचे वाले (पहले) आसमान को (तारों के) चिराग़ों से ज़ीनत दी है और हमने उनको शैतानों के मारने का आला बनाया और हमने उनके लिए दहकती हुई आग का अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निश्चय हमने धरती से सबसे निकट के आकाश को चमकीले तारों के साथ सुशोभित किया है तथा हमने उन तारों को उल्का बना दिया है, जिनके द्वारा उन शैतानों को मारा जाता है, जो चोरी-छिपे सुनने का प्रयास करते हैं। तो ये तारे उन्हें जला देते हैं, और हमने उनके लिए आख़िरत में भड़कती आग तैयार कर रखी है। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૫. નિ:શંક અમે દુનિયાના આકાશને દીવાઓ (તારાઓ) વડે શણગાર્યું અને તેને શૈતાનોને મારવાનું માધ્યમ બનાવી દીધુ છે અને શૈતાનો માટે અમે (જહન્નમની આગ) તૈયાર કરી રાખી છે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ५) निःसन्देह हामीले आकाशलाई संसारको प्रकाशका लागि भव्य दीपबाट सजायौं, र उनीहरूलाई शैतानलाई हान्ने माध्यम बनायौं, र शैतानहरूको लागि हामीले नर्कको सजाय तयार गरिराखेका छौं । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | और निःसंदेह हमने (धरती से) निकटतम आकाश को दीपों से सजाया है तथा हमने उन्हें शैतानों को मार भगाने का साधन बनाया है और हमने उनके लिए भड़कती हुई आग की यातना तैयार कर रखी है। |

| عَرَبِي | وَلِلَّذينَ كَفَروا بِرَبِّهِم عَذابُ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَبِئسَ المَصيرُ |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa lillazeena kafaroo bi rabbihim 'azaabu jahannama wa bi'sal maseer |
| English (Pickthall) | And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there is the doom of hell, a hapless journey's end! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | For those who reject their Lord (and Cherisher) is the Penalty of Hell: and evil is (such), Destination. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination. |
| English (Qarai) | For those who defy their Lord is the punishment of hell, and it is an evil destination. |
| English (Hilali) | And for those who disbelieve in their Lord (Allah) is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And for those who disbelieve in their Lord, on the Day of Judgement there is the punishment of a raging fire. Very evil is place they will return to. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिन लोगों ने अपने रब के साथ कुफ़्र किया उनके लिए जहन्नम की यातना है और वह बहुत ही बुरा ठिकाना है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जो लोग अपने परवरदिगार के मुनकिर हैं उनके लिए जहन्नुम का अज़ाब है और वह (बहुत) बुरा ठिकाना है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जिन लोगों ने अपने पालनहार का इनकार किया, उनके लिए क़ियामत के दिन भड़कती हुई आग की यातना है और वह लौटने का स्थान बहुत बुरा है, जहाँ उन्हें लौटना है। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૬. અને જે લોકોએ પોતાના પાલનહારનો ઇન્કાર કર્યો, તેમના માટે જહન્નમનો અઝાબ છે, અને તે ખૂબ જ ખરાબ ઠેકાણું છે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ६) र जसले आफ्नो पालनकर्तासित कुफ्र गरे, उनीहरूको निम्ति नर्कको यातना छ, र त्यो धेरै नराम्रो ठाउँ हो । |

| عَرَبِي | إِذا أُلقوا فيها سَمِعوا لَها شَهيقًا وَهِيَ تَفورُ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Itha olqoo feeha samiAAoo laha shaheeqan wahiya tafooru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Izaaa ulqoo feehaa sami'oo lahaa shaheeqanw wa hiya tafoor |
| English (Pickthall) | When they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath even as it blazes forth, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up. |
| English (Qarai) | When they are thrown in it, they hear it blaring, as it seethes, |
| English (Hilali) | When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When they will be thrown into the hellfire, they will hear an extremely evil sound: it will be bubbling like a boiling pot. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जब वे उसमें डाले जाएँगे तो उसकी दहाड़ने की भयानक आवाज़ सुनेंगे और वह प्रकोप से बिफर रही होगी। |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जब ये लोग इसमें डाले जाएँगे तो उसकी बड़ी चीख़ सुनेंगे और वह जोश मार रही होगी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जब वे जहन्नम में फेंके जाएँगे, तो उसकी सख़्त भूंडी आवाज़ सुनेंगे और वह हाँडी के उबलने की तरह उबल रहा होगा। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૭. જ્યારે તેઓ તેમાં નાખવામાં આવશે, તો તેનો ખુબ જ મોટો અવાજ સાંભળશે અને તે જોશ મારી રહી હશે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ७) जब त्यसमा यिनीहरू हालिनेछन्, तब त्यसको चित्कारको आवाज सुन्नेछन् र त्यसले भडकिरहेको हुनेछ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | जब वे उसमें फेंके जाएँगे, तो उसकी दहाड़ सुनेंगे और वह उबल रहा होगा। |

| English (Abridged Expl.) | Verily, the nations that came before these idolaters rejected, and so the punishment of Allah descended upon them after they insisted in their disbelief and rejection, so how was My disavowal of them? Verily, it was a severe disavowal. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निःसंदेह इन मुश्रिकों से पहले के समुदायों ने भी झुठलाया है। जब उन्होंने अपने कुफ़्र और झुठलाने पर हठ किया, तो उनपर अल्लाह की यातना उतरी। तो उनके खिलाफ़ मेरा इनकार कैसा था?! निश्चय वह बहुत सख़्त इनकार था। |

| English (Abridged Expl.) | And there is no one that can sustain you if Allah stops His provisions from reaching you. Rather, the crux is that the disbelievers have prolonged in transgression, arrogance and refusal of the truth. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यदि अल्लाह अपनी जीविका को तुम्हारे पास तक पहुँचने से रोक ले, तो तुम्हें कोई भी जीविका प्रदान नहीं कर सकता। बल्कि, निष्कर्ष यह है कि काफ़िर लोग अपने हठ और अहंकार, तथा सच्चाई से उपेक्षा में बहुत दूर चले गए हैं। |
