| Transliteration (Unicode) | Inna 'azaaba Rabbika lawaaqi' |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! the doom of thy Lord will surely come to pass; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Verily, the Doom of thy Lord will indeed come to pass;- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger, the punishment of your Lord will definitely occur on the disbelievers. |

| عَرَبِي | ما لَهُ مِن دافِعٍ |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Maa lahoo min daafi' |
| English (Pickthall) | There is none that can ward it off. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | There is none can avert it;- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Of it there is no preventer. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | There is nobody to repel it from them and save them from it befalling them. |

| عَرَبِي | يَومَ تَمورُ السَّماءُ مَورًا |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yawma tamoorus samaaa'u mawraa |
| English (Pickthall) | On the day when the heaven will heave with (awful) heaving, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | On the Day when the firmament will be in dreadful commotion. |

| English (Abridged Expl.) | The day in which the heavens (or sky) will move violently, in full accordance with the arrival of the Hour. |

| عَرَبِي | وَتَسيرُ الجِبالُ سَيرًا |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wataseeru aljibalu sayran |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa taseerul jibaalu sairaa |
| English (Pickthall) | And the mountains move away with (awful) movement, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And the mountains will fly hither and thither. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And the mountains will pass on, departing - |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And the mountains will travel from their places. |

| عَرَبِي | فَوَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fawaylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fawailuny yawma 'izil lil mukaazzibeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Then woe that day unto the deniers |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then woe that Day to those that treat (Truth) as Falsehood;- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then woe, that Day, to the deniers, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So destruction and loss on that day will be for those who deny the punishment Allah promised the disbelievers. |

| عَرَبِي | الَّذينَ هُم في خَوضٍ يَلعَبونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allatheena hum fee khawdin yalAAaboona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allazeena hum fee khawdiny yal'aboon |
| English (Pickthall) | Who play in talk of grave matters; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | That play (and paddle) in shallow trifles. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who are in their discourse in falsehood, playing. They do not care about resurrection or being raised. |

| عَرَبِي | يَومَ يُدَعّونَ إِلىٰ نارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yawma yudaAAAAoona ila nari jahannama daAAAAan |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yawma yuda'-'oona ilaa naari jahannama da'-'aa |
| English (Pickthall) | The day when they are thrust with a (disdainful) thrust, into the fire of hell |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | That Day shall they be thrust down to the Fire of Hell, irresistibly. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say], |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The day they will be pushed with force and harshness towards the fire of hell. |

| عَرَبِي | هٰذِهِ النّارُ الَّتي كُنتُم بِها تُكَذِّبونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Hathihi alnnaru allatee kuntum biha tukaththiboona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Haazihin naarul latee kuntum bihaa tukazziboon |
| English (Pickthall) | (And it is said unto them): This is the Fire which ye were wont to deny. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "This:, it will be said, "Is the Fire,- which ye were wont to deny! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | "This is the Fire which you used to deny. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And it will be said to them in rebuke, “This is the fire you used to deny when your messengers used to warn you of it. |

| عَرَبِي | أَفَسِحرٌ هٰذا أَم أَنتُم لا تُبصِرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Afasihrun hatha am antum la tubsiroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Afasihrun haazaaaa am antum laa tubsiroon |
| English (Pickthall) | Is this magic, or do ye not see? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "Is this then a fake, or is it ye that do not see? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then is this magic, or do you not see? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Is this punishment which you see magic, or are you not seeing it? |

| عَرَبِي | اصلَوها فَاصبِروا أَو لا تَصبِروا سَواءٌ عَلَيكُم ۖ إِنَّما تُجزَونَ ما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Islawha faisbiroo aw la tasbiroo sawaon AAalaykum innama tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Islawhaa fasbirooo aw laa tasbiroo sawaaa'un 'alaikum innamaa tujzawna maa kuntum ta'maloon |
| English (Pickthall) | Endure the heat thereof, and whether ye are patient of it or impatient of it is all one for you. Ye are only being paid for what ye used to do. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "Burn ye therein: the same is it to you whether ye bear it with patience, or not: Ye but receive the recompense of your (own) deeds." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Taste the heat of this fire and suffer it. Be patient over suffering its heat or not; your patience or impatience is all the same. You will not be rewarded today except with the disbelief and sins you used to commit in the world”. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | "जाओ, झुलसो उसमें! अब धैर्य से काम लो या धैर्य से काम न लो; तुम्हारे लिए बराबर है। तुम वही बदला पा रहे हो, जो तुम करते रहे थे।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | इसी में घुसो फिर सब्र करो या बेसब्री करो (दोनों) तुम्हारे लिए यकसाँ हैं तुम्हें तो बस उन्हीं कामों का बदला मिलेगा जो तुम किया करते थे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | इस आग की गर्मी का स्वाद चखो और उसे भुगतो। उसकी गर्मी को सहने में धैर्य से काम लो या उसके साथ धैर्य मत रखो, तुम्हारे लिए धैर्य रखना और न रखना दोनों बराबर हैं। आज तुम्हें केवल उसी का बदला दिया जाएगा, जो तुम दुनिया में कुफ़्र और पाप किया करते थे। |

| عَرَبِي | إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ في جَنّاتٍ وَنَعيمٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin wanaAAeemin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innal muttaqeena fee jannaatinw wa na'eem |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! those who kept their duty dwell in gardens and delight, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | As to the Righteous, they will be in Gardens, and in Happiness,- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who are mindful of their Lord by carrying out His commands and refraining from His prohibitions will be in gardens and a great pleasure which will never end. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | निश्चय ही डर रखनेवाले बाग़ों और नेमतों में होंगे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | बेशक परहेज़गार लोग बाग़ों और नेअमतों में होंगे |

| Ayah 18 |
| عَرَبِي | فاكِهينَ بِما آتاهُم رَبُّهُم وَوَقاهُم رَبُّهُم عَذابَ الجَحيمِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fakiheena bima atahum rabbuhum wawaqahum rabbuhum AAathaba aljaheemi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Faakiheena bimaaa aataahum rabbuhum wa waqaahum rabbuhum 'azaabal jaheem |
| English (Pickthall) | Happy because of what their Lord hath given them, and (because) their Lord hath warded off from them the torment of hell-fire. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Enjoying the (Bliss) which their Lord hath bestowed on them, and their Lord shall deliver them from the Penalty of the Fire. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | They will be enjoying the pleasures of food, drink and marriage that Allah will have given them, and their Lord (may He be glorified), protected them from the punishment of hell. Hence, they were successful through achieving their desired pleasures and by being protected from difficulties. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जो कुछ उनके रब ने उन्हें दिया होगा, उसका आनन्द ले रहे होंगे और इस बात से कि उनके रब ने उन्हें भड़कती हुई आग से बचा लिया - |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जो (जो नेअमतें) उनके परवरदिगार ने उन्हें दी हैं उनके मज़े ले रहे हैं और उनका परवरदिगार उन्हें दोज़ख़ के अज़ाब से बचाएगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वे अपने पालनहार के प्रदान की हुई खाने-पीने की चीज़ों और पत्नियों के सुख का आनंद उठा रहे होंगे। और उनके रब ने उन्हें जहन्नम की यातना से बचा लिया; इस तरह वे अपने इच्छित सुख प्राप्त करके और विपत्तियों से मुक्ति हासिल करके सफल हो गए। |
| Ayah 19 |
| عَرَبِي | كُلوا وَاشرَبوا هَنيئًا بِما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Kuloo waishraboo haneean bima kuntum taAAmaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Kuloo washraboo haneee 'am bimaa kuntum ta'maloon |
| English (Pickthall) | (And it is said unto them): Eat and drink in health (as a reward) for what ye used to do, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | (To them will be said:) "Eat and drink ye, with profit and health, because of your (good) deeds." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | It will be said to them: “Eat and drink of what your souls desire, in satisfaction without fearing harm or pain from what you eat and drink, as a reward for your excellent actions in the world”. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उनसे कहा जाएगा : तुम्हारा जो दिल चाहे, मज़े से खाओ-पिओ। जो कुछ तुम खाते-पीते हो, उससे तुम्हें किसी नुकसान या तकलीफ़ का डर नहीं है। यह दुनिया में तुम्हारे अच्छे कर्मों का बदला है। |
| Ayah 20 |
| عَرَبِي | مُتَّكِئينَ عَلىٰ سُرُرٍ مَصفوفَةٍ ۖ وَزَوَّجناهُم بِحورٍ عينٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Muttakieena AAala sururin masfoofatin wazawwajnahum bihoorin AAeenin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Muttaki'eena 'alaa sururim masfoofatinw wa zawwaj naahum bihoorin 'een |
| English (Pickthall) | Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They will recline (with ease) on Thrones (of dignity) arranged in ranks; and We shall join them to Companions, with beautiful big and lustrous eyes. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Reclining on adorned thrones which have been lined up, and I will marry them to fair women with beautiful wide eyes. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | - पंक्तिबद्ध तख़्तो पर तकिया लगाए हुए होंगे और हम बड़ी आँखोंवाली हूरों (परम रूपवती स्त्रियों) से उनका विवाह कर देंगे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तकिए लगाकर ख़ूब मज़े से खाओ पियो और हम बड़ी बड़ी ऑंखों वाली हूर से उनका ब्याह रचाएँगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | सजे-सजाए तख़्तों पर तकिया लगाए हुए होंगे, जो एक-दूसरे के सामने बिछे होंगे और हम उनका विवाह बड़ी-बड़ी आँखों वाली गोरी स्त्रियों से कर देंगे। |

| عَرَبِي | وَالَّذينَ آمَنوا وَاتَّبَعَتهُم ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإيمانٍ أَلحَقنا بِهِم ذُرِّيَّتَهُم وَما أَلَتناهُم مِن عَمَلِهِم مِن شَيءٍ ۚ كُلُّ امرِئٍ بِما كَسَبَ رَهينٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waallatheena amanoo waittabaAAathum thurriyyatuhum bieemanin alhaqna bihim thurriyyatahum wama alatnahum min AAamalihim min shayin kullu imriin bima kasaba raheenun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wallazeena aamanoo wattaba'at hum zurriyyatuhum bieemaanin alhaqnaa bihim zurriyyatahum wa maaa alatnaahum min 'amalihim min shai'; kullum ri'im bimaa kasaba raheen |
| English (Pickthall) | And they who believe and whose seed follow them in faith, We cause their seed to join them (there), and We deprive them of nought of their (life's) work. Every man is a pledge for that which he hath earned. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And those who brought faith and whose children followed them in faith - I will join their children with them so that they are pleased with them, even though they did not reach their actions. And I will not decrease anything from the reward of their actions. Every person will be held for the bad actions he earned; nobody else will bear any of his actions. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जिन लोगों ने ईमान क़ुबूल किया और उनकी औलाद ने भी ईमान में उनका साथ दिया तो हम उनकी औलाद को भी उनके दर्जे पहुँचा देंगे और हम उनकी कारगुज़ारियों में से कुछ भी कम न करेंगे हर शख़्श अपने आमाल के बदले में गिरवी है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जो लोग ईमान लाए और उनकी संतान ने भी ईमान में उनका अनुसरण किया, हम उनकी संतान को उनके साथ मिला देंगे, ताकि उनकी आँखों को सुकून मिले, भले ही वे उनके कामों (के स्तर) तक न पहुँचें हों। तथा हम उनके कामों के प्रतिफल में कुछ भी कमी नहीं करेंगे। हर इनसान अपने किए हुए बुरे काम के बदले बंधक है। कोई अन्य व्यक्ति उसकी ओर से उसके काम का कुछ भी बोझ नहीं उठाएगा। |

| عَرَبِي | وَأَمدَدناهُم بِفاكِهَةٍ وَلَحمٍ مِمّا يَشتَهونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waamdadnahum bifakihatin walahmin mimma yashtahoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa amdadnaahum bifaa kihatinw wa lahmim mimmaa yashtahoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And We provide them with fruit and meat such as they desire. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And We shall bestow on them, of fruit and meat, anything they shall desire. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And I will provide these people of Paradise with different fruits and I will provide them with all the meat they desire. |

| Ayah 23 |
| عَرَبِي | يَتَنازَعونَ فيها كَأسًا لا لَغوٌ فيها وَلا تَأثيمٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | YatanazaAAoona feeha kasan la laghwun feeha wala tatheemun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yatanaaza'oona feehaa kaasal laa laghwun feehaa wa laa taaseem |
| English (Pickthall) | There they pass from hand to hand a cup wherein is neither vanity nor cause of sin. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They shall there exchange, one with another, a (loving) cup free of frivolity, free of all taint of ill. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | They will give to one another cups of wine, bearing no resemeblness to the wine of this world, free from intoxication and that which arises from it, such as false speech. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वे वहाँ आपस में प्याले हाथोंहाथ ले रहे होंगे, जिसमें न कोई बेहूदगी होगी और न गुनाह पर उभारनेवाली कोई बात, |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वे जन्नत में ऐसा प्याला पिएँगे, जिसके पीने से वह ग़लत बात और पाप नहीं होगा, जो दुनिया में नशे के कारण होता है। |

| عَرَبِي | ۞ وَيَطوفُ عَلَيهِم غِلمانٌ لَهُم كَأَنَّهُم لُؤلُؤٌ مَكنونٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wayatoofu AAalayhim ghilmanun lahum kaannahum luluon maknoonun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa yatoofu 'alaihim ghilmaanul lahum ka annahum lu'lu'um maknoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And there go round, waiting on them menservants of their own, as they were hidden pearls. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Round about them will serve, (devoted) to them, young male servants (handsome) as Pearls well-guarded. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And servants will circle amongst them, as though they are protected pearls. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और उनकी सेवा में सुरक्षित मोतियों के सदृश किशोर दौड़ते फिरते होंगे, जो ख़ास उन्हीं (की सेवा) के लिए होंगे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (और ख़िदमत के लिए) नौजवान लड़के उनके आस पास चक्कर लगाया करेंगे वह (हुस्न व जमाल में) गोया एहतियात से रखे हुए मोती हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उनके इर्द-गिर्द ऐसे बच्चे चक्कर लगा रहे होंगे, जो उनकी सेवा के लिए नियुक्त होंगे, जो अपनी त्वचा की शुद्धता और उसकी सफेदी में गोया सीपियों में सुरक्षित मोती लग रहे होंगे। |

| عَرَبِي | وَأَقبَلَ بَعضُهُم عَلىٰ بَعضٍ يَتَساءَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa aqbala ba'duhum 'alaa ba'diny yatasaaa'aloon |
| English (Pickthall) | And some of them draw near unto others, questioning, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They will advance to each other, engaging in mutual enquiry. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The people of Paradise will turn to one another, asking each other about their condition in the world. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उनमें से कुछ व्यक्ति कुछ व्यक्तियों की ओर हाल पूछते हुए रुख़ करेंगे, |

| عَرَبِي | قالوا إِنّا كُنّا قَبلُ في أَهلِنا مُشفِقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qaloo inna kunna qablu fee ahlina mushfiqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qaalooo innaa kunnaa qablu feee ahlinaa mushfiqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Saying: Lo! of old, when we were with our families, we were ever anxious; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They will say: "Aforetime, we were not without fear for the sake of our people. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allah]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | They will respond to them: “We were, in the world amongst our families, fearful of Allah’s punishment. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कहेंगे, "निश्चय ही हम पहले अपने घरवालों में डरते रहे है, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (उनमें से कुछ) कहेंगे कि हम इससे पहले अपने घर में (ख़ुदा से बहुत) डरा करते थे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो वे उन्हें जवाब देंगे : निःसंदेह हम दुनिया में अपने घरवालों के बीच अल्लाह की यातना से डरने वाले थे। |
| Ayah 27 |
| عَرَبِي | فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَينا وَوَقانا عَذابَ السَّمومِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Famanna Allahu AAalayna wawaqana AAathaba alssamoomi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Famannnal laahu 'alainaa wa waqaanaa 'azaabas samoom |
| English (Pickthall) | But Allah hath been gracious unto us and hath preserved us from the torment of the breath of Fire. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "But Allah has been good to us, and has delivered us from the Penalty of the Scorching Wind. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So Allah conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So Allah favoured us by guiding us to Islam, and He protected us from the punishment which is extremely hot. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर अल्लाह ने हमपर उपकार करके हमें इस्लाम का मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया और हमें अत्यधिक गर्मी वाली यातना से बचा लिया। |
| Ayah 28 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنّا كُنّا مِن قَبلُ نَدعوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ البَرُّ الرَّحيمُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna kunna min qablu nadAAoohu innahu huwa albarru alrraheemu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innaa kunnaa min qablu nad'oohu innahoo huwal barrur raheem |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! we used to pray unto Him of old. Lo! He is the Benign, the Merciful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "Truly, we did call unto Him from of old: truly it is He, the Beneficent, the Merciful!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, we used to supplicate Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | We used to worship Him in our worldly life and we used to pray to Him to protect us from the fire of hell. He is Beneficent to His servants and Merciful to them. Part of His beneficence and mercy upon us is that He guided us to faith, entered us into Paradise and distanced us from the fire.” |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | "इससे पहले हम उसे पुकारते रहे है। निश्चय ही वह सदव्यवहार करनेवाला, अत्यन्त दयावान है।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | इससे क़ब्ल हम उनसे दुआएँ किया करते थे बेशक वह एहसान करने वाला मेहरबान है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | हम दुनिया के जीवन में उसी की इबादत करते थे और उससे प्रार्थना करते थे कि हमें आग की यातना से बचा ले। निःसंदेह वही उपकार करने वाला, अपने बंदों से किए हुए अपने वादे में सच्चा और उनपर दया करने वाला है। यह हमपर उसके उपकार और दया ही में से है कि उसने हमें ईमान का मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया, तथा हमें जन्नत में दाखिल किया और जहन्नम की आग से दूर रखा। |
| Ayah 29 |
| عَرَبِي | فَذَكِّر فَما أَنتَ بِنِعمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكاهِنٍ وَلا مَجنونٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fathakkir fama anta biniAAmati rabbika bikahin wala majnoonin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fazakkir famaaa anta bini'mati rabbika bikaahininw wa laa majnoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So remind through the Qur’ān, O Messenger, for you are not, by the faith and intelligence Allah has favoured you with, a soothsayer with visions of jinns nor are you insane. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः तुम याद दिलाते रहो। अपने रब की अनुकम्पा से न तुम काहिन (ढोंगी भविष्यवक्ता) हो और न दीवाना |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो (ऐ रसूल) तुम नसीहत किए जाओ तो तुम अपने परवरदिगार के फज़ल से न काहिन हो और न मजनून किया |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो (ऐ रसूल!) आप क़ुरआन के द्वारा नसीहत करें। क्योंकि अल्लाह ने आपको जो ईमान और विवेक दिया है, उसके कारण आप न किसी तरह काहिन हैं कि आपके पास कोई मुवक्किल जिन्न है और न ही आप कोई दीवाना हैं। |
| Ayah 30 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم يَقولونَ شاعِرٌ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِهِ رَيبَ المَنونِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am yaqooloona shaAAirun natarabbasu bihi rayba almanooni |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am yaqooloona shaa'irun natarabbasu bihee raibal manoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or say they: (he is) a poet, (one) for whom we may expect the accident of time? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Do these idolaters say: “Muhammad is not a messenger, but he is a poet whom we await death to seize so we can be relieved of him”? |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | क्या (तुमको) ये लोग कहते हैं कि (ये) शायर हैं (और) हम तो उसके बारे में ज़माने के हवादिस का इन्तेज़ार कर रहे हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | या क्या ये झुठलाने वाले कहते हैं : मुहम्मद एक रसूल नहीं हैं, बल्कि वह एक शा'इर हैं, जिनके बारे में हम इस बात की प्रतीक्षा करते हैं कि मौत उन्हें उचक ले और हम उनसे आराम पा जाएँ। |

| عَرَبِي | قُل تَرَبَّصوا فَإِنّي مَعَكُم مِنَ المُتَرَبِّصينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul tarabbasoo fainnee maAAakum mina almutarabbiseena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul tarabbasoo fa innee ma'akum minal mutarabbiseen |
| English (Pickthall) | Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger, say to them: “Await my death, and I will await the punishment which will befall you due to denying me”. |

| عَرَبِي | أَم تَأمُرُهُم أَحلامُهُم بِهٰذا ۚ أَم هُم قَومٌ طاغونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am tamuruhum ahlamuhum bihatha am hum qawmun taghoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am taamuruhum ahlaamuhum bihaazaaa am hum qawmun taaghoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do their minds tell them to say: “He is a soothsayer and insane?” So they combine what cannot gather in one person, but rather they are a people who trespass the bounds, hence they do not return to any sacred law or intellect. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या उनकी बुद्धियाँ यही आदेश दे रही है, या वे ही है सरकश लोग? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | क्या उनकी अक्लें उन्हें ये (बातें) बताती हैं या ये लोग हैं ही सरकश |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | बल्कि, क्या उनकी बुद्धियाँ उन्हें यह कहने का आदेश देती हैं कि वह एक काहिन और एक पागल हैं?! चुनाँचे वे (आपके अंदर) ऐसी बातें जमा करते हैं, जो एक व्यक्ति के अंदर जमा नहीं हो सकतीं। बल्कि, दरअसल वे ऐसे लोग हैं जो सीमाओं को पार करने वाले हैं। इसलिए वे शरीयत या तर्क की ओर वापस नहीं आते हैं। |

| عَرَبِي | أَم يَقولونَ تَقَوَّلَهُ ۚ بَل لا يُؤمِنونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am yaqooloona taqawwalahu bal la yuminoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am yaqooloona taqawwalah; bal laa yu'minoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do they say: “Muhammad fabricated this Qur’ān and nothing has been revealed to him?” He has not fabricated it, but rather they are too arrogant to have faith in it, so they say: “He has fabricated it”. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या वे कहते है, "उसने उस (क़ुरआन) को स्वयं ही कह लिया है?" नहीं, बल्कि वे ईमान नहीं लाते |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | क्या ये लोग कहते हैं कि इसने क़ुरान ख़ुद गढ़ लिया है बात ये है कि ये लोग ईमान ही नहीं रखते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या वे कहते हैं कि मुहम्मद सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम ने इस क़ुरआन को अपनी ओर से गढ़ लिया है और उनकी ओर उसकी वह़्य (प्रकाशना) नहीं की गई है?! आपने उसे अपनी ओर से नहीं गढ़ा। बल्कि ये क़ुरआन पर ईमान लाने से अभिमान करते हैं। इसलिए वे कहते हैं : मुहम्मद ने इसे गढ़ लिया है। |

| عَرَبِي | فَليَأتوا بِحَديثٍ مِثلِهِ إِن كانوا صادِقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Falyatoo bihadeethin mithlihi in kanoo sadiqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Falyaatoo bihadeesim misliheee in kaanoo saadiqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So let them produce a narrative like it, even if it has been fabricated, if they are true in their claim that he has fabricated it. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अच्छा यदि वे सच्चे है तो उन्हें उस जैसी वाणी ले आनी चाहिए |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो अगर ये लोग सच्चे हैं तो ऐसा ही कलाम बना तो लाएँ |

| Ayah 35 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم خُلِقوا مِن غَيرِ شَيءٍ أَم هُمُ الخالِقونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am khuliqoo min ghayri shayin am humu alkhaliqoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am khuliqoo min ghairi shai'in am humul khaaliqoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or have they been created without a creator to create them? Or are they their own creators? The existence of a creation without a creator or a creation which creates itself is impossible, so why do they not worship their own creator? |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या वे बिना किसी चीज़ के पैदा हो गए? या वे स्वयं ही अपने स्रष्टाँ है? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | क्या ये लोग किसी के (पैदा किये) बग़ैर ही पैदा हो गए हैं या यही लोग (मख़लूक़ात के) पैदा करने वाले हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या वे बिना किसी पैदा करने वाले के पैदा हो गए हैं?! या वे अपने आपको ख़ुद पैदा करने वाले है?! सृष्टिकर्ता के बिना सृष्टि का अस्तित्व संभव नहीं है, तथा कोई सृष्टि कोई चीज़ पैदा नहीं कर सकती। फिर वे अपने सृष्टिकर्ता की पूजा क्यों नहीं करते?! |
| Ayah 36 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم خَلَقُوا السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضَ ۚ بَل لا يوقِنونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am khalaqoo alssamawati waalarda bal la yooqinoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am khalaqus samaawaati wal ard; bal laa yooqinoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or did they create the heavens and the earth? But they do not have conviction that Allah is their Creator, if they had been convinced of that, they would have declared His oneness and brought faith in His Messenger. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या उन्होंने आकाशों और धरती को पैदा किया? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | या इन्होने ही ने सारे आसमान व ज़मीन पैदा किए हैं (नहीं) बल्कि ये लोग यक़ीन ही नहीं रखते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | या उन्होंने आकाशों और धरती को पैदा किया है?! बल्कि उन्हें यक़ीन नहीं है कि अल्लाह ही उनका पैदा करने वाला है। क्योंकि अगर उन्हें इसका यक़ीन होता, तो वे अवश्य अल्लाह को एक मानते और उसके रसूल पर ईमान लाते। |

| English (Pickthall) | Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? |

| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do they have the treasures of your Lord’s provision to give to whom they wish, and prophethood to give to or stop from whom they want? Or are they the controllers and disposers according to their wish? |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | या क्या उनके पास आपके पालनहार की रोज़ी के खज़ाने हैं, जो वे जिसे चाहें उसे प्रदान करें, या (उनके पास) नुबुव्वत के खज़ाने हैं, जो वे जिसे चाहें प्रदान करें और जिसे चाहें उससे वंचित कर दें?! या वही सत्तावादी हैं जो अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार कार्य करते हैं ?! |
| Ayah 38 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم لَهُم سُلَّمٌ يَستَمِعونَ فيهِ ۖ فَليَأتِ مُستَمِعُهُم بِسُلطانٍ مُبينٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am lahum sullamun yastamiAAoona feehi falyati mustamiAAuhum bisultanin mubeenin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am lahum sullamuny yastami'oona feehi falyaati mustami'uhum bisultaanim mubeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do they have a ladder with which to climb to the sky in which they listen to Allah’s revelation which He sends to tell them they are on the truth? So let the one who listens amongst them to that revelation bring a clear proof to affirm you in your claim that you are on truth. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या उनके पास कोई सीढ़ी है, जिसके साथ आकाश पर चढ़कर वे उसमें अल्लाह की वह़्य (प्रकाशना) को सुनते हैं जो वह़्य करता है कि वे सत्य पर हैं?! तो उनमें से जिसने वह वह़्य सुनी है, वह कोई स्पष्ट प्रमाण लाए, जो तुम्हारी इस बात में पुष्टि करे जो तुम दावा करते हो कि तुम सत्य पर हो। |
| Ayah 39 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم لَهُ البَناتُ وَلَكُمُ البَنونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am lahu albanatu walakumu albanoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am lahul banaatu wa lakumul banoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or has He only daughters and ye have sons? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or has He daughters while you have sons? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or does He (may He be glorified) have daughters which you dislike, whilst you have sons which you love? |

| عَرَبِي | أَم تَسأَلُهُم أَجرًا فَهُم مِن مَغرَمٍ مُثقَلونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am tasaluhum ajran fahum min maghramin muthqaloona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am tas'aluhum ajran fahum mim maghramim musqaloon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do you, O Messenger, seek a wage from them for what you convey to them from their Lord, due to which they are burdened with something they cannot bear? |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या तुम उनसे कोई पारिश्रामिक माँगते हो कि वे तावान के बोझ से दबे जा रहे है? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | या तुम उनसे (तबलीग़े रिसालत की) उजरत माँगते हो कि ये लोग कर्ज़ के बोझ से दबे जाते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | या क्या (ऐ रसूल!) आप उनसे उन्हें अपने पालनहार का संदेश पहुँचाने पर पारिश्रमिक माँगते हैं?! जिसके कारण उनपर इतना बोझ पड़ जाता है कि वे वहन नहीं कर सकते। |
| Ayah 41 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم عِندَهُمُ الغَيبُ فَهُم يَكتُبونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am AAindahumu alghaybu fahum yaktuboona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am 'indahumul ghaibu fahum yaktuboon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or that the Unseen in it their hands, and they write it down? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do they have knowledge of the Ghaib, so that they write for people what they learn from the Ghaib and inform them of what they want therefrom? |

| Ayah 42 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم يُريدونَ كَيدًا ۖ فَالَّذينَ كَفَروا هُمُ المَكيدونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am yureedoona kaydan faallatheena kafaroo humu almakeedoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am yureedoona kaidan fallazeena kafaroo humul makeedoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do these deniers intend to plot against you and your religion. Trust in Allah, as those who disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger are the ones who will be plotted against, not you. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या वे कोई चाल चलना चाहते है? तो जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया वही चाल की लपेट में आनेवाले है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | या ये लोग कुछ दाँव चलाना चाहते हैं तो जो लोग काफ़िर हैं वह ख़ुद अपने दांव में फँसे हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | या ये झुठलाने वाले आपके तथा आपके धर्म के साथ कोई चाल चलना चाहते हैं?! तो आप अल्लाह पर भरोसा रखें। क्योंकि जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का इनकार किया, वही लोग चाल की चपेट में आने वाले हैं, न कि आप। |
| Ayah 43 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم لَهُم إِلٰهٌ غَيرُ اللَّهِ ۚ سُبحانَ اللَّهِ عَمّا يُشرِكونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am lahum ilahun ghayru Allahi subhana Allahi AAamma yushrikoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am lahum ilaahun ghairul laa; subhaanal laahi 'ammaa yushrikoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do they have a true god besides Allah? Pure and exalted is Allah from the partner they attribute to him. None of what was mentioned has happened or is even thinkable. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या अल्लाह के अतिरिक्त उनका कोई और पूज्य-प्रभु है? अल्लाह महान और उच्च है उससे जो वे साझी ठहराते है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | या ख़ुदा के सिवा इनका कोई (दूसरा) माबूद है जिन चीज़ों को ये लोग (ख़ुदा का) शरीक बनाते हैं वह उससे पाक और पाक़ीज़ा है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | या उनका अल्लाह के सिवा कोई सच्चा पूज्य है?! अल्लाह उस साझी से पाक एवं पवित्र है, जिसे वे उसके साथ संबंधित करते हैं। उपर्युक्त सभी बातें कभी घटित नहीं हुईं और किसी भी स्थिति में उनकी कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती। |
| Ayah 44 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِن يَرَوا كِسفًا مِنَ السَّماءِ ساقِطًا يَقولوا سَحابٌ مَركومٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wain yaraw kisfan mina alssamai saqitan yaqooloo sahabun markoomun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa iny yaraw kisfam minas samaaa'i saaqitany yaqooloo sahaabum markoom |
| English (Pickthall) | And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And if they see a piece of the sky falling, they will say: “This is a cloud which is piled up on each other as usual”. So they do not take heed or believe. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यदि वे आकाश का कोई टुकटा गिरता हुआ देखें तो कहेंगे, "यह तो परत पर परत बादल है!" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और अगर ये लोग आसमान से कोई अज़ाब (अज़ाब का) टुकड़ा गिरते हुए देखें तो बोल उठेंगे ये तो दलदार बादल है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और अगर वे आसमान से कोई टुकड़ा गिरता हुआ देख लें, तो उसके बारे में कहेंगे : यह एक बादल है जो हमेशा की तरह परत पर परत है। इसलिए वे सीख ग्रहण नहीं करते और न ईमान लाते हैं। |
| Ayah 45 |
| عَرَبِي | فَذَرهُم حَتّىٰ يُلاقوا يَومَهُمُ الَّذي فيهِ يُصعَقونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fatharhum hatta yulaqoo yawmahumu allathee feehi yusAAaqoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fazarhum hatta yulaaqoo yawmahumul lazee feehi yus'aqoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Then let them be (O Muhammad), till they meet their day, in which they will be thunder-stricken, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs, wherein they shall (perforce) swoon (with terror),- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible - |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So leave them, O Messenger, in their stubbornness and denial until they meet their day in which they will be punished, which is the day of judgment. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः छोडो उन्हें, यहाँ तक कि वे अपने उस दिन का सामना करें जिसमें उनपर वज्रपात होगा; |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो (ऐ रसूल) तुम इनको इनकी हालत पर छोड़ दो यहाँ तक कि वह जिसमें ये बेहोश हो जाएँगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अतः (ऐ रसूल!) आप उन्हें उनके हठ और इनकार में छोड़ दें, यहाँ तक कि वे अपने उस दिन से जा मिलें, जिसमें उन्हें यातना दी जाएगी और वह क़ियामत का दिन है। |
| Ayah 46 |
| عَرَبِي | يَومَ لا يُغني عَنهُم كَيدُهُم شَيئًا وَلا هُم يُنصَرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yawma la yughnee AAanhum kayduhum shayan wala hum yunsaroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yawma laa yughnee 'anhum kaidumhum shai'anw wa laa hum yunsaroon |
| English (Pickthall) | A day in which their guile will naught avail them, nor will they be helped. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | The Day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The day when their plot will neither help them a little or a lot, nor will they be helped by being saved from the punishment. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिस दिन उनकी चाल उनके कुछ भी काम न आएगी और न उन्हें कोई सहायता ही मिलेगी; |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | इनके सामने आ जाए जिस दिन न इनकी मक्कारी ही कुछ काम आएगी और न इनकी मदद ही की जाएगी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिस दिन उनकी चाल उन्हें थोड़ा या ज़्यादा कुछ भी फ़ायदा न देगी, और न उन्हें यातना से बचाकर उनकी मदद की जाएगी। |
| Ayah 47 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِنَّ لِلَّذينَ ظَلَموا عَذابًا دونَ ذٰلِكَ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَهُم لا يَعلَمونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wainna lillatheena thalamoo AAathaban doona thalika walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa inna lillazeena zalamoo 'azaaban doona zalika wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya'lamoon |
| English (Pickthall) | And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And for those who wronged themselves through idolatry and sins is a punishment before the punishment of the afterlife: in this life through being killed and imprisoned, and in the Transitory Stage through punishment of the grave. However, most of them do not know that, which is why they remain on their disbelief. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और निश्चय ही जिन लोगों ने ज़ुल्म किया उनके लिए एक यातना है उससे हटकर भी, परन्तु उनमें से अधिकतर जानते नहीं |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि ज़ालिमों के लिए इसके अलावा और भी अज़ाब है मगर उनमें बहुतेरे नहीं जानते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और निश्चय जिन लोगों ने शिर्क और गुनाह के द्वारा अपने ऊपर अत्याचार किया, उनके लिए आख़िरत की यातना से पहले भी एक यातना है; दुनिया में क़त्ल और क़ैद की यातना और बरज़ख़ में क़ब्र की यातना। लेकिन उनमें से अधिकतर लोग यह नहीं जानते हैं। इसलिए वे अपने कुफ़्र पर जमे रहते हैं। |
| Ayah 48 |
| عَرَبِي | وَاصبِر لِحُكمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعيُنِنا ۖ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ حينَ تَقومُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waisbir lihukmi rabbika fainnaka biaAAyunina wasabbih bihamdi rabbika heena taqoomu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wasbir lihukmi rabbika fa innaka bi-a'yuninaa wa sabbih bihamdi rabbika heena taqoom |
| English (Pickthall) | So wait patiently (O Muhammad) for thy Lord's decree, for surely thou art in Our sight; and hymn the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Now await in patience the command of thy Lord: for verily thou art in Our eyes: and celebrate the praises of thy Lord the while thou standest forth, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Be patient, O Messenger, on the decree of your Lord and His divine law, as you are in My sight and protection. And glorify and praise your Lord when you stand from your sleep. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अपने रब का फ़ैसला आने तक धैर्य से काम लो, तुम तो हमारी आँखों में हो, और जब उठो तो अपने रब का गुणगान करो; |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (ऐ रसूल) तुम अपने परवरदिगार के हुक्म से इन्तेज़ार में सब्र किए रहो तो तुम बिल्कुल हमारी निगेहदाश्त में हो तो जब तुम उठा करो तो अपने परवरदिगार की हम्द की तस्बीह किया करो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और (ऐ रसूल!) आप अपने रब का निर्णय और उसका शरई आदेश आने तक सब्र करें। आप हमारी निगाहों के सामने और हमारी सुरक्षा में हैं। तथा जब आप नींद से जागें, तो अपने रब की प्रशंसा के साथ उसकी पवित्रता बयान करें। |
| Ayah 49 |
| عَرَبِي | وَمِنَ اللَّيلِ فَسَبِّحهُ وَإِدبارَ النُّجومِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wamina allayli fasabbihhu waidbara alnnujoomi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa minal laili fasabbihhu wa idbaaran nujoom |
| English (Pickthall) | And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And at night, glorify your Lord and pray to Him, and pray the Fajr prayer after the stars have set due to daylight. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | रात की कुछ घड़ियों में भी उसकी तसबीह करो, और सितारों के पीठ फेरने के समय (प्रातःकाल) भी |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और कुछ रात को भी और सितारों के ग़ुरूब होने के बाद तस्बीह किया करो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और रात की कुछ घड़ियों में भी उसकी पवित्रता बयान करें और उसके लिए नमाज़ पढ़ें, तथा जब प्रातःकाल की सफ़ेदी के कारण सितारे फीके पड़कर ओझल हो जाएँ, तो फ़ज्र की नमाज़ पढ़ें। |
