| عَرَبِي | تَبارَكَ الَّذي بِيَدِهِ المُلكُ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Tabaraka allathee biyadihi almulku wahuwa AAala kulli shayin qadeerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Tabaarakal lazee biyadihil mulku wa huwa 'alaa kulli shai-in qadeer |
| English (Pickthall) | Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | उस अल्लाह की भलाई बहुत अधिक और महान है, जिस अकेले के हाथ में सारा राज्य है और वह सब कुछ करने में सक्षम है, कोई चीज़ उसकी शक्ति से बाहर नहीं है। |

| عَرَبِي | الَّذي خَلَقَ المَوتَ وَالحَياةَ لِيَبلُوَكُم أَيُّكُم أَحسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ العَزيزُ الغَفورُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allathee khalaqa almawta waalhayata liyabluwakum ayyukum ahsanu AAamalan wahuwa alAAazeezu alghafooru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allazee khalaqal mawta walhayaata liyabluwakum ayyukum ahsanu 'amalaa; wa huwal 'azeezul ghafoor |
| English (Pickthall) | Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving;- |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिसने मौत और जीवन को पैदा किया, ताकि वह तुम्हें (ऐ लोगो) परखे कि तुममें से कौन सर्वश्रेष्ठ कार्य करने वाला है? और वह ऐसा प्रभुत्वशाली है, जिस पर किसी का ज़ोर नहीं चलता। वह अपने तौबा करने वाले बंदों के गुनाहों को माफ़ करने वाला है। |
| Ayah 3 |
| عَرَبِي | الَّذي خَلَقَ سَبعَ سَماواتٍ طِباقًا ۖ ما تَرىٰ في خَلقِ الرَّحمٰنِ مِن تَفاوُتٍ ۖ فَارجِعِ البَصَرَ هَل تَرىٰ مِن فُطورٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allathee khalaqa sabAAa samawatin tibaqan ma tara fee khalqi alrrahmani min tafawutin fairjiAAi albasara hal tara min futoorin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Allazee khalaqa sab'a samaawaatin tibaaqam maa taraa fee khalqir rahmaani min tafaawutin farji'il basara hal taraa min futoor |
| English (Pickthall) | Who hath created seven heavens in harmony. Thou (Muhammad) canst see no fault in the Beneficent One's creation; then look again: Canst thou see any rifts? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The one who created the seven heavens, each one layered above the one before it without touching it. O observer! You will not witness any discrepancy or misappropriation in the creation of Allah. So look again, do you see cracks or splits? You will never see them; you will only see a perfect, masterful creation. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिसने ऊपर-तले सात आकाश बनाए। तुम रहमान की रचना में कोई असंगति और विषमता न देखोगे। फिर नज़र डालो, "क्या तुम्हें कोई बिगाड़ दिखाई देता है?" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जिसने सात आसमान तले ऊपर बना डाले भला तुझे ख़ुदा की आफ़रिनश में कोई कसर नज़र आती है तो फिर ऑंख उठाकर देख भला तुझे कोई शिग़ाफ़ नज़र आता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जिसने सात आकाश बनाए, प्रत्येक आकाश उसके पहले के ऊपर एक परत के रूप में इस तरह है कि एक आसमान और दूसरे आसमान के बीच कोई मिलन नहीं है। (ऐ देखने वाले) तुम अल्लाह की रचना में कोई असमानता या असंगति नहीं देखोगे। तुम फिर से नज़र दौड़ाओ क्या तुम्हें कोई दरार या फटन दिखाई देती है?! तुम्हें इस तरह की कोई चीज़ हरगिज़ नज़र नहीं आएगी, बल्कि तुम एक सुदृढ़ और मज़बूत रचना देखोगे। |

| عَرَبِي | ثُمَّ ارجِعِ البَصَرَ كَرَّتَينِ يَنقَلِب إِلَيكَ البَصَرُ خاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thumma irjiAAi albasara karratayni yanqalib ilayka albasaru khasian wahuwa haseerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Summar ji'il basara karrataini yanqalib ilaikal basaru khaasi'anw wa huwa haseer |
| English (Pickthall) | Then look again and yet again, thy sight will return unto thee weakened and made dim. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Again turn thy vision a second time: (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, in a state worn out. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Then, look again time after time; your eyesight will return humiliated without having found any defect or fault in the creation of the heaven; exhausted without being able to see. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर तुम बार-बार नज़र डालो, तुम्हारी नज़र आकाश की रचना में कोई दोष या खराबी देखे बिना अपमानित होकर तुम्हारी ओर लौट आएगी और वह थकी हुई होगी, उसे कुछ दिखाई न देगा। |

| عَرَبِي | وَلَقَد زَيَّنَّا السَّماءَ الدُّنيا بِمَصابيحَ وَجَعَلناها رُجومًا لِلشَّياطينِ ۖ وَأَعتَدنا لَهُم عَذابَ السَّعيرِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walaqad zayyanna alssamaa alddunya bimasabeeha wajaAAalnaha rujooman lilshshayateeni waaAAtadna lahum AAathaba alssaAAeeri |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laqad zaiyannas samaaa'ad dunyaa bimasaa beeha wa ja'alnaahaa rujoomal lish shayaateeni wa a'tadnaa lahum 'azaabas sa'eer |
| English (Pickthall) | And verily We have beautified the world's heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And verily I adorned the nearest sky to the earth with shining stars, making them shoot and repelling with them the satans with them who try to eavesdrop. I have also prepared for them a blazing fire in the afterlife. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | हमने निकटवर्ती आकाश को दीपों से सजाया और उन्हें शैतानों के मार भगाने का साधन बनाया और उनके लिए हमने भड़कती आग की यातना तैयार कर रखी है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और हमने नीचे वाले (पहले) आसमान को (तारों के) चिराग़ों से ज़ीनत दी है और हमने उनको शैतानों के मारने का आला बनाया और हमने उनके लिए दहकती हुई आग का अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निश्चय हमने धरती से सबसे निकट के आकाश को चमकीले तारों के साथ सुशोभित किया है तथा हमने उन तारों को उल्का बना दिया है, जिनके द्वारा उन शैतानों को मारा जाता है, जो चोरी-छिपे सुनने का प्रयास करते हैं। तो ये तारे उन्हें जला देते हैं, और हमने उनके लिए आख़िरत में भड़कती आग तैयार कर रखी है। |
| Ayah 6 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلِلَّذينَ كَفَروا بِرَبِّهِم عَذابُ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَبِئسَ المَصيرُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walillatheena kafaroo birabbihim AAathabu jahannama wabisa almaseeru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa lillazeena kafaroo bi rabbihim 'azaabu jahannama wa bi'sal maseer |
| English (Pickthall) | And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there is the doom of hell, a hapless journey's end! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | For those who reject their Lord (and Cherisher) is the Penalty of Hell: and evil is (such), Destination. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And for those who disbelieve in their Lord, on the Day of Judgement there is the punishment of a raging fire. Very evil is place they will return to. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जिन लोगों ने अपने रब के साथ कुफ़्र किया उनके लिए जहन्नम की यातना है और वह बहुत ही बुरा ठिकाना है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जो लोग अपने परवरदिगार के मुनकिर हैं उनके लिए जहन्नुम का अज़ाब है और वह (बहुत) बुरा ठिकाना है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और जिन लोगों ने अपने पालनहार का इनकार किया, उनके लिए क़ियामत के दिन भड़कती हुई आग की यातना है और वह लौटने का स्थान बहुत बुरा है, जहाँ उन्हें लौटना है। |

| عَرَبِي | إِذا أُلقوا فيها سَمِعوا لَها شَهيقًا وَهِيَ تَفورُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Itha olqoo feeha samiAAoo laha shaheeqan wahiya tafooru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Izaaa ulqoo feehaa sami'oo lahaa shaheeqanw wa hiya tafoor |
| English (Pickthall) | When they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath even as it blazes forth, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | When they will be thrown into the hellfire, they will hear an extremely evil sound: it will be bubbling like a boiling pot. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जब वे उसमें डाले जाएँगे तो उसकी दहाड़ने की भयानक आवाज़ सुनेंगे और वह प्रकोप से बिफर रही होगी। |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जब ये लोग इसमें डाले जाएँगे तो उसकी बड़ी चीख़ सुनेंगे और वह जोश मार रही होगी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जब वे जहन्नम में फेंके जाएँगे, तो उसकी सख़्त भूंडी आवाज़ सुनेंगे और वह हाँडी के उबलने की तरह उबल रहा होगा। |
| Ayah 8 |
| عَرَبِي | تَكادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الغَيظِ ۖ كُلَّما أُلقِيَ فيها فَوجٌ سَأَلَهُم خَزَنَتُها أَلَم يَأتِكُم نَذيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Takadu tamayyazu mina alghaythi kullama olqiya feeha fawjun saalahum khazanatuha alam yatikum natheerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Takaadu tamayyazu minal ghaizi kullamaaa ulqiya feehaa fawjun sa alahum khazanatuhaaa alam yaatikum nazeer |
| English (Pickthall) | As it would burst with rage. Whenever a (fresh) host is flung therein the wardens thereof ask them: Came there unto you no warner? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Almost bursting with fury: Every time a Group is cast therein, its Keepers will ask, "Did no Warner come to you?" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?" |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | It almost bursts within itself and comes apart due to its extreme rage over those that are thrown into it. Each time a group is thrown into it from the disbelievers, the angels appointed over it will ask them scoldingly: “Did a Messenger not come to you in the world, warning you of the punishment of Allah?” |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐसा प्रतीत होगा कि प्रकोप के कारण अभी फट पड़ेगी। हर बार जब भी कोई समूह उसमें डाला जाएगा तो उसके कार्यकर्ता उनसे पूछेंगे, "क्या तुम्हारे पास कोई सावधान करनेवाला नहीं आया?" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | बल्कि गोया मारे जोश के फट पड़ेगी जब उसमें (उनका) कोई गिरोह डाला जाएगा तो उनसे दारोग़ए जहन्नुम पूछेगा क्या तुम्हारे पास कोई डराने वाला पैग़म्बर नहीं आया था |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क़रीब होगा कि जहन्नम, उसमें प्रवेश करने वालों के ख़िलाफ़ अपने क्रोध की तीव्रता से, एक दूसरे से अलग हो जाए और फट पड़े। जब भी उसमें, उसके अंदर प्रवेश करने वाले काफ़िरों का कोई समूह डाला जाएगा, तो वहाँ नियुक्त फ़रिश्ते उनसे फटकार के रूप में पूछेंगे : क्या दुनिया में तुम्हारे पास कोई रसूल नहीं आया था, जो तुम्हें अल्लाह की यातना से सावधान करता?! |
| Ayah 9 |
| عَرَبِي | قالوا بَلىٰ قَد جاءَنا نَذيرٌ فَكَذَّبنا وَقُلنا ما نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِن شَيءٍ إِن أَنتُم إِلّا في ضَلالٍ كَبيرٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qaloo bala qad jaana natheerun fakaththabna waqulna ma nazzala Allahu min shayin in antum illa fee dalalin kabeerin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qaaloo balaa qad jaaa'anaa nazeerun fakazzabnaa wa qulnaa maa nazzalal laahu min shai in in antum illaa fee dalaalin kabeer |
| English (Pickthall) | They say: Yea, verily, a warner came unto us; but we denied and said: Allah hath naught revealed; ye are in naught but a great error. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They will say: "Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion!'" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'" |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The disbelievers will say, “Indeed! A Messenger did come to us warning us of the punishment of Allah but we rejected him, and we said to him, “Allah did not reveal any revelation. O Messengers! You are in nothing but clear deviance from the truth.”” |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वे कहेंगे, "क्यों नहीं, अवश्य हमारे पास आया था, किन्तु हमने झुठला दिया और कहा कि अल्लाह ने कुछ भी नहीं अवतरित किया। तुम तो बस एक बड़ी गुमराही में पड़े हुए हो।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | वह कहेंगे हॉ हमारे पास डराने वाला तो ज़रूर आया था मगर हमने उसको झुठला दिया और कहा कि ख़ुदा ने तो कुछ नाज़िल ही नहीं किया तुम तो बड़ी (गहरी) गुमराही में (पड़े) हो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | काफ़िर कहेंगे : क्यों नहीं?! हमारे पास रसूल आया था, जो हमें अल्लाह की यातना से डराता था, लेकिन हमने उसे झुठला दिया और उससे कहा : अल्लाह ने कोई वह़्य नहीं उतारी है। तुम तो (ऐ रसूलो!) सत्य से बहुत भटके हुए हो। |
| Ayah 10 |
| عَرَبِي | وَقالوا لَو كُنّا نَسمَعُ أَو نَعقِلُ ما كُنّا في أَصحابِ السَّعيرِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waqaloo law kunna nasmaAAu aw naAAqilu ma kunna fee ashabi alssaAAeeri |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa qaaloo law kunnaa nasma'u awna'qilu maa kunnaa feee as haabis sa'eer |
| English (Pickthall) | And they say: Had we been wont to listen or have sense, we had not been among the dwellers in the flames. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The disbelievers will say, “If we had listened attentively, or had thought clearly like the one who can differentiate the truth from falsehood, we would not have been amongst the people of the hellfire. Rather, we would have had faith in the Messengers and believed in whatever they brought, being from the people of Paradise.” |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और वे कहेंगे, "यदि हम सुनते या बुद्धि से काम लेते तो हम दहकती आग में पड़नेवालों में सम्मिलित न होते।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और (ये भी) कहेंगे कि अगर (उनकी बात) सुनते या समझते तब तो (आज) दोज़ख़ियों में न होते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और काफ़िर कहेंगे : अगर हम उससे लाभान्वित होने के तौर पर सुनते होते, या ऐसे व्यक्ति के समझने की तरह समझते होते, जो सत्य एवं असत्य के बीच अंतर करता है, तो हम जहन्नम में दाख़िल होने वालों के बीच न होते। बल्कि, हम रसूलों पर ईमान रखते होते और उनके लाए हुए संदेश को सच मानते होते और जन्नत में प्रवेश करने वालों में से होते। |
| Ayah 11 |
| عَرَبِي | فَاعتَرَفوا بِذَنبِهِم فَسُحقًا لِأَصحابِ السَّعيرِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | FaiAAtarafoo bithanbihim fasuhqan liashabi alssaAAeeri |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa'tarafoo bizambihim fasuhqal li as haabis sa'eer |
| English (Pickthall) | So they acknowledge their sins; but far removed (from mercy) are the dwellers in the flames. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So they will confess against themselves to having disbelieved and rejected, thereby being worthy of the hellfire. So away with the people of the hellfire! |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | इस प्रकार वे अपने गुनाहों को स्वीकार करेंगे, तो धिक्कार हो दहकती आगवालों पर! |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ग़रज़ वह अपने गुनाह का इक़रार कर लेंगे तो दोज़ख़ियों को ख़ुदा की रहमत से दूरी है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | इस तरह, वे अपने कुफ़्र और झुठलाने को स्वीकार करेंगे, इसलिए वे आग के पात्र हुए।तो दूरी है (जहन्नम की) आग वालों के लिए। |
| Ayah 12 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنَّ الَّذينَ يَخشَونَ رَبَّهُم بِالغَيبِ لَهُم مَغفِرَةٌ وَأَجرٌ كَبيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna allatheena yakhshawna rabbahum bialghaybi lahum maghfiratun waajrun kabeerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innal lazeena yakhshawna rabbahum bilghaibi lahum maghfiratunw wa ajrun kabeer |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! those who fear their Lord in secret, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | As for those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | After Allah mentions the traits of the disbelievers and their requital, he follows it up with mentioning the qualities of the people of faith and their requital, saying: “Indeed, those who fear Allah in privacy, they will be forgiven for their sins and will get a great reward, i.e. Paradise.” |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जो लोग परोक्ष में रहते हुए अपने रब से डरते है, उनके लिए क्षमा और बड़ा बदला है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | बेशक जो लोग अपने परवरदिगार से बेदेखे भाले डरते हैं उनके लिए मग़फेरत और बड़ा भारी अज्र है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निश्चय जो लोग अपने एकांत में अल्लाह से डरते हैं, उनके पापों के लिए क्षमा है और उनके लिए एक महान पुण्य है और वह जन्नत है। |
| Ayah 13 |
| عَرَبِي | وَأَسِرّوا قَولَكُم أَوِ اجهَروا بِهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَليمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدورِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waasirroo qawlakum awi ijharoo bihi innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa asirroo qawlakum awijharoo bihee innahoo 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor |
| English (Pickthall) | And keep your opinion secret or proclaim it, lo! He is Knower of all that is in the breasts (of men). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge, of the secrets of (all) hearts. |

| English (Abridged Expl.) | O people! Speak secretively or openly; Allah hears it anyway. Indeed, He may He be glorified is aware of whatever is in the hearts of His servants; nothing is hidden from Him in that regard. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तुम अपनी बात छिपाओ या उसे व्यक्त करो, वह तो सीनों में छिपी बातों तक को जानता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और तुम अपनी बात छिपकर कहो या खुल्लम खुल्ला वह तो दिल के भेदों तक से ख़ूब वाक़िफ़ है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ लोगो) तुम अपनी बात छिपाओ या उसे प्रकट करो, अल्लाह उसे जानता है। निश्चय वह अपने बंदों के दिलों की बातों को भी जानता है, उसमें से कुछ भी उससे छिपा नहीं है। |
| Ayah 14 |
| عَرَبِي | أَلا يَعلَمُ مَن خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطيفُ الخَبيرُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ala yaAAlamu man khalaqa wahuwa allateefu alkhabeeru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Alaa ya'lamu man khalaq wa huwal lateeful khabeer |
| English (Pickthall) | Should He not know what He created? And He is the Subtile, the Aware. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Should He not know,- He that created? and He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Does the one who created all creation not know of the secret, and that which is more inconspicuous than the secret? He is The Kind to His servants; The Aware of their affairs. Nothing is hidden from Him in that regard. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | क्या वह नहीं जानेगा जिसने पैदा किया? वह सूक्ष्मदर्शी, ख़बर रखनेवाला है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | भला जिसने पैदा किया वह तो बेख़बर और वह तो बड़ा बारीकबीन वाक़िफ़कार है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या वह जिसने सभी प्राणियों को पैदा किया, वह भेद और भेद से भी अधिक छिपी चीज़ को नहीं जानेगा?! जबकि वह अपने बंदों के रहस्यों से अवगत, उनके मामलों की पूरी ख़बर रखने वाला है। उनमें से कुछ भी उससे छिपा नहीं है। |
| Ayah 15 |
| عَرَبِي | هُوَ الَّذي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرضَ ذَلولًا فَامشوا في مَناكِبِها وَكُلوا مِن رِزقِهِ ۖ وَإِلَيهِ النُّشورُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Huwa allathee jaAAala lakumu alarda thaloolan faimshoo fee manakibiha wakuloo min rizqihi wailayhi alnnushooru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Huwal lazee ja'ala lakumul arda zaloolan famshoo fee manaakibihaa wa kuloo mir rizqihee wa ilaihin nushoor |
| English (Pickthall) | He it is Who hath made the earth subservient unto you, so Walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of the dead). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | It is He Who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse ye through its tracts and enjoy of the Sustenance which He furnishes: but unto Him is the Resurrection. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He is the one who made the earth soft and easy for you to live on, so travel around to its edges and eat from the provision He has prepared for you within it. To Him alone you will be resurrected for accountability and requital. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | वही तो है जिसने तुम्हारे लिए धरती को वशीभूत किया। अतः तुम उसके (धरती के) कन्धों पर चलो और उसकी रोज़ी में से खाओ, उसी की ओर दोबारा उठकर (जीवित होकर) जाना है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | वही तो है जिसने ज़मीन को तुम्हारे लिए नरम (व हमवार) कर दिया तो उसके अतराफ़ व जवानिब में चलो फिरो और उसकी (दी हुई) रोज़ी खाओ |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वही है जिसने तुम्हारे लिए धरती को उसपर रहने के लिए नरम बनाया, तो तुम उसके विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में चलो-फिरो, और उसकी उस रोज़ी से खाओ, जो उसने उसमें तुम्हारे लिए तैयार की है, और अकेले उसी की ओर तुम्हें हिसाब और बदला के लिए जीवित होकर जाना है। |

| عَرَبِي | أَأَمِنتُم مَن فِي السَّماءِ أَن يَخسِفَ بِكُمُ الأَرضَ فَإِذا هِيَ تَمورُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Aamintum man fee alssamai an yakhsifa bikumu alarda faitha hiya tamooru |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | 'A-amintum man fissamaaa'i aiyakhsifa bi kumul arda fa izaa hiya tamoor |
| English (Pickthall) | Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Do you feel safe from the being in the heavens that He may cause the earth to split beneath you, just as He caused it to split beneath Korah, despite it having been soft and easy to live on? It could suddenly shake with you on it, after being firm and solid. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | क्या तुम उससे निश्चिन्त हो जो आकाश में है कि तुम्हें धरती में धँसा दे, फिर क्या देखोगे कि वह डाँवाडोल हो रही है? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और फिर उसी की तरफ क़ब्र से उठ कर जाना है क्या तुम उस शख़्श से जो आसमान में (हुकूमत करता है) इस बात से बेख़ौफ़ हो कि तुमको ज़मीन में धॅसा दे फिर वह एकबारगी उलट पुलट करने लगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या तुम उस अल्लाह से निडर हो गए, जो आकाश में है कि वह इस धरती को तुम्हारे नीचे से फाड़ दे, जैसे कि क़ारून के नीचे से फाड़ दिया था, जबकि वह रहने के लिए नरम और अधीनस्थ थी, फिर वह अपनी स्थिरता के बाद अचानक तुम्हें लेकर काँपने लगे?! |
| Ayah 17 |
| عَرَبِي | أَم أَمِنتُم مَن فِي السَّماءِ أَن يُرسِلَ عَلَيكُم حاصِبًا ۖ فَسَتَعلَمونَ كَيفَ نَذيرِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Am amintum man fee alssamai an yursila AAalaykum hasiban fasataAAlamoona kayfa natheeri |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Am amintum man fissamaaa'i ai yursila 'alaikum haasiban fasata'lamoona kaifa nazeer |
| English (Pickthall) | Or have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not let loose on you a hurricane? But ye shall know the manner of My warning. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or do ye feel secure that He Who is in Heaven will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones), so that ye shall know how (terrible) was My warning? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Or do you feel safe from the being in the heavens that He could rain down stones upon you just like He did upon the people of Lot? Then you will realise, when you see My punishment for yourselves, My warnings to you. But you will never be able to benefit from them after having witnessed the punishment. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या तुम उससे निश्चिन्त हो जो आकाश में है कि वह तुमपर पथराव करनेवाली वायु भेज दे? फिर तुम जान लोगे कि मेरी चेतावनी कैसी होती है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | या तुम इस बात से बेख़ौफ हो कि जो आसमान में (सल्तनत करता) है कि तुम पर पत्थर भरी ऑंधी चलाए तो तुम्हें अनक़रीेब ही मालूम हो जाएगा कि मेरा डराना कैसा है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या तुम उस अल्लाह से, जो आकाश में है, निडर हो गए हो कि वह तुमपर आकाश से पत्थर बरसा दे, जैसे लूत अलैहिस्सलाम की जाति पर बरसाया था?! फिर जब तुम मेरी यातना को देखोगे, तो तुम्हें मेरी चेतावनी का पता चल जाएगा, लेकिन यातना देख लेने के बाद तुम्हें इससे कोई फायदा नहीं होगा। |
| Ayah 18 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلَقَد كَذَّبَ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَكَيفَ كانَ نَكيرِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walaqad kaththaba allatheena min qablihim fakayfa kana nakeeri |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laqad kazzabal lazeena min qablihim fakaifa kaana nakeer |
| English (Pickthall) | And verily those before them denied, then (see) the manner of My wrath (with them)! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Verily, the nations that came before these idolaters rejected, and so the punishment of Allah descended upon them after they insisted in their disbelief and rejection, so how was My disavowal of them? Verily, it was a severe disavowal. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उन लोगों ने भी झुठलाया जो उनसे पहले थे, फिर कैसा रहा मेरा इनकार! |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जो लोग उनसे पहले थे उन्होने झुठलाया था तो (देखो) कि मेरी नाख़ुशी कैसी थी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निःसंदेह इन मुश्रिकों से पहले के समुदायों ने भी झुठलाया है। जब उन्होंने अपने कुफ़्र और झुठलाने पर हठ किया, तो उनपर अल्लाह की यातना उतरी। तो उनके खिलाफ़ मेरा इनकार कैसा था?! निश्चय वह बहुत सख़्त इनकार था। |
| Ayah 19 |
| عَرَبِي | أَوَلَم يَرَوا إِلَى الطَّيرِ فَوقَهُم صافّاتٍ وَيَقبِضنَ ۚ ما يُمسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا الرَّحمٰنُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ بَصيرٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Awalam yaraw ila alttayri fawqahum saffatin wayaqbidna ma yumsikuhunna illa alrrahmanu innahu bikulli shayin baseerun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Awalam yaraw ilat tairi fawqahum saaaffaatinw wa yaqbidn; maa yumsikuhunna illaar rahmaan; innahoo bikulli shai im baseer |
| English (Pickthall) | Have they not seen the birds above them spreading out their wings and closing them? Naught upholdeth them save the Beneficent. Lo! He is Seer of all things. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Do these rejectors not see the birds above them flying in rows, side by side with one another? What stops them from falling to the ground, except Allah? Indeed, He is The Seeing of everything, nothing is hidden from Him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | क्या उन्होंने अपने ऊपर पक्षियों को पंक्तबन्द्ध पंख फैलाए और उन्हें समेटते नहीं देखा? उन्हें रहमान के सिवा कोई और नहीं थामें रहता। निश्चय ही वह हर चीज़ को देखता है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | क्या उन लोगों ने अपने सरों पर चिड़ियों को उड़ते नहीं देखा जो परों को फैलाए रहती हैं और समेट लेती हैं कि ख़ुदा के सिवा उन्हें कोई रोके नहीं रह सकता बेशक वह हर चीज़ को देख रहा है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या इन झुठलाने वालों ने अपने ऊपर पक्षियों को उड़ते नहीं देखा, जो कभी हवा में अपने पंख फैलाते हैं और कभी उन्हें समेट लेते हैं। उन्हें ज़मीन पर गिरने से अल्लाह के अलावा कोई नहीं रोकता है। निश्चय वह हर चीज़ को देखने वाला है, उससे कोई भी चीज़ छिपी नहीं है। |
| Ayah 20 |
| عَرَبِي | أَمَّن هٰذَا الَّذي هُوَ جُندٌ لَكُم يَنصُرُكُم مِن دونِ الرَّحمٰنِ ۚ إِنِ الكافِرونَ إِلّا في غُرورٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Amman hatha allathee huwa jundun lakum yansurukum min dooni alrrahmani ini alkafiroona illa fee ghuroorin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Amman haazal lazee huwa jundul lakum yansurukum min doonir rahmaan; inilkaafiroona illaa fee ghuroor |
| English (Pickthall) | Or who is he that will be an army unto you to help you instead of the Beneficent? The disbelievers are in naught but illusion. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O disbelievers! There is no army that can save you from the punishment of Allah if He decides to punish you. The disbelievers are in nothing but deception; Satan has deceived them and they have fallen into his deception. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या वह कौन है जो तुम्हारी सेना बनकर रहमान के मुक़ाबले में तुम्हारी सहायता करे। इनकार करनेवाले तो बस धोखे में पड़े हुए है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | भला ख़ुदा के सिवा ऐसा कौन है जो तुम्हारी फ़ौज बनकर तुम्हारी मदद करे काफ़िर लोग तो धोखे ही (धोखे) में हैं भला ख़ुदा अगर अपनी (दी हुई) रोज़ी रोक ले तो कौन ऐसा है जो तुम्हें रिज़क़ दे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यदि (ऐ काफ़िरो) अल्लाह तुम्हें यातना देना चाहे, तो तुम्हारे लिए कोई सेना नहीं है, जो तुम्हें उसकी यातना से बचा सके। काफ़िर लोग तो मात्र धोखे में पड़े हुए हैं। शैतान ने उन्हें धोखा दिया, तो वे उसके धोखे में पड़ गए। |
| Ayah 21 |
| عَرَبِي | أَمَّن هٰذَا الَّذي يَرزُقُكُم إِن أَمسَكَ رِزقَهُ ۚ بَل لَجّوا في عُتُوٍّ وَنُفورٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Amman hatha allathee yarzuqukum in amsaka rizqahu bal lajjoo fee AAutuwwin wanufoorin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Amman haazal lazee yarzuqukum in amsaka rizqah; bal lajjoo fee 'utuwwinw wa nufoor |
| English (Pickthall) | Or who is he that will provide for you if He should withhold His providence? Nay, but they are set in pride and frowardness. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And there is no one that can sustain you if Allah stops His provisions from reaching you. Rather, the crux is that the disbelievers have prolonged in transgression, arrogance and refusal of the truth. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | या वह कौन है जो तुम्हें रोज़ी दे, यदि वह अपनी रोज़ी रोक ले? नहीं, बल्कि वे तो सरकशी और नफ़रत ही पर अड़े हुए है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | मगर ये कुफ्फ़ार तो सरकशी और नफ़रत (के भँवर) में फँसे हुए हैं भला जो शख़्श औंधे मुँह के बाल चले वह ज्यादा हिदायत याफ्ता होगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यदि अल्लाह अपनी जीविका को तुम्हारे पास तक पहुँचने से रोक ले, तो तुम्हें कोई भी जीविका प्रदान नहीं कर सकता। बल्कि, निष्कर्ष यह है कि काफ़िर लोग अपने हठ और अहंकार, तथा सच्चाई से उपेक्षा में बहुत दूर चले गए हैं। |
| Ayah 22 |
| عَرَبِي | أَفَمَن يَمشي مُكِبًّا عَلىٰ وَجهِهِ أَهدىٰ أَمَّن يَمشي سَوِيًّا عَلىٰ صِراطٍ مُستَقيمٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Afaman yamshee mukibban AAala wajhihi ahda amman yamshee sawiyyan AAala siratin mustaqeemin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Afamai yamshee mukibban 'alaa wajhihee ahdaaa ammany yamshee sawiyyan 'alaa siratim mustaqeem |
| English (Pickthall) | Is he who goeth groping on his face more rightly guided, or he who walketh upright on a straight road? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Is then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided,- or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So is the one who walks while falling on his face i.e. the idolater more guided, or the believer who walks upright on the straight path? |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तो क्या वह व्यक्ति जो अपने मुँह के बल औंधा चलता हो वह अधिक सीधे मार्ग पर ह या वह जो सीधा होकर सीधे मार्ग पर चल रहा है? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | या वह शख़्श जो सीधा बराबर राहे रास्त पर चल रहा हो (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि ख़ुदा तो वही है जिसने तुमको नित नया पैदा किया |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या वह व्यक्ति जो अपने चेहरे के बल औंधा होकर चलता है - और वह बहुदेववादी है -, अधिक सीधी राह पर है या वह मोमिन, जो सीधे रास्ते पर सीधा होकर चलता है?! |
| Ayah 23 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل هُوَ الَّذي أَنشَأَكُم وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمعَ وَالأَبصارَ وَالأَفئِدَةَ ۖ قَليلًا ما تَشكُرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul huwa allathee anshaakum wajaAAala lakumu alssamAAa waalabsara waalafidata qaleelan ma tashkuroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul huwal lazee ansha akum wa ja'ala lakumus sam'a wal absaara wal af'idata qaleelam maa tashkuroon |
| English (Pickthall) | Say (unto them, O Muhammad): He it is who gave you being, and hath assigned unto you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger! Say to these idolaters who reject: “Allah is the one who created you and made for you ears through which you hear, eyes with which you see, and hearts through which you think. Little do you show gratitude to Him for the blessings He has conferred upon you. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कह दो, "वही है जिसने तुम्हें पैदा किया और तुम्हारे लिए कान और आँखे और दिल बनाए। तुम कृतज्ञता थोड़े ही दिखाते हो।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और तुम्हारे वास्ते कान और ऑंख और दिल बनाए (मगर) तुम तो बहुत कम शुक्र अदा करते हो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | आप (ऐ रसूल) इन झुठलाने वाले मुश्रिकों से कह दें : अल्लाह ही ने तुम्हें पैदा किया, और तुम्हारे लिए कान बनाए जिनसे तुम सुनते हो, और आँखें बनाईं जिनसे तुम देखते हो और दिल बनाए जिनसे तुम समझते हो। तुम अल्लाह का उसकी प्रदान की हुई नेमतों पर बहुत कम शुक्रिया अदा करते हो। |
| Ayah 24 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل هُوَ الَّذي ذَرَأَكُم فِي الأَرضِ وَإِلَيهِ تُحشَرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul huwa allathee tharaakum fee alardi wailayhi tuhsharoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul huwal lazee zara akum fil ardi wa ilaihi tuhsharoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Say: He it is Who multiplieth you in the earth, and unto Whom ye will be gathered. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger! Say to these idolaters who reject: “Allah is the one who dispersed you on earth and made you spread upon it, not your idols which cannot create anything. To Him alone you will be gathered on the Day of Judgement for accountability and requital, not your idols. So fear Him and worship Him alone. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कह दो, "वही है जिसने तुम्हें धरती में फैलाया और उसी की ओर तुम एकत्र किए जा रहे हो।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | कह दो कि वही तो है जिसने तुमको ज़मीन में फैला दिया और उसी के सामने जमा किए जाओगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | आप (ऐ रसूल) इन झुठलाने वाले मुश्रिकों से कह दें : अल्लाह ही है, जिसने तुम्हें धरती में फैलाया, न कि तुम्हारी मूर्तियाँ, जो कुछ भी पैदा नहीं कर सकतीं। तथा क़ियामत के दिन तुम अकेले उसी के पास हिसाब और बदले के लिए एकत्र किए जाओगे, न कि अपनी मूर्तियों के पास। अतः उसी से डरो और अकेले उसी की इबादत करो। |
| Ayah 25 |
| عَرَبِي | وَيَقولونَ مَتىٰ هٰذَا الوَعدُ إِن كُنتُم صادِقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal wa'du in kuntum saadiqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | They ask: When will this promise be (fulfilled)? - If ye are telling the truth. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And the rejectors of the resurrection, thinking it to be far-fetched, say, “O Muhammad! When will this promise that you and your companions promise us with, happen, if you are truthful in your claim that it will occur?” |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और कुफ्फ़ार कहते हैं कि अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो (आख़िर) ये वायदा कब (पूरा) होगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा मरने के बाद पुनर्जीवित कर उठाए जाने का इनकार करने वाले, पुनर्जीवन को असंभव समझते हुए कहते हैं : यह वादा कब पूरा होगा, जिसका (ऐ मुहम्मद) तुम और तुम्हारे साथी हमें वचन दे रहे हैं, यदि तुम अपने इस दावे में सच्चे हो कि वह आकर ही रहेगा?! |
| Ayah 26 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل إِنَّمَا العِلمُ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّما أَنا نَذيرٌ مُبينٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul innama alAAilmu AAinda Allahi wainnama ana natheerun mubeenun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul innamal 'ilmu 'indallaahi wa innamaaa ana nazeerum mubeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Say: The knowledge is with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "As to the knowledge of the time, it is with Allah alone: I am (sent) only to warn plainly in public." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Say, O Messenger: “The knowledge of the Hour is with Allah; only He knows when it will occur. I am only a clear warner in my warning to you.” |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल) आप कह दें : क़ियामत की जानकारी केवल अल्लाह के पास है। वह कब आएगी, उसके सिवा कोई नहीं जानता। और मैं तो केवल तुम्हें स्पष्ट तौर पर डराने वाला हूँ। |
| Ayah 27 |
| عَرَبِي | فَلَمّا رَأَوهُ زُلفَةً سيئَت وُجوهُ الَّذينَ كَفَروا وَقيلَ هٰذَا الَّذي كُنتُم بِهِ تَدَّعونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Falamma raawhu zulfatan seeat wujoohu allatheena kafaroo waqeela hatha allathee kuntum bihi taddaAAoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Falaammaa ra-awhu zulfatan seee'at wujoohul lazeena kafaroo wa qeela haazal lazee kuntum bihee tadda'oon |
| English (Pickthall) | But when they see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will be awry, and it will be said (unto them): This is that for which ye used to call. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | At length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled), which ye were calling for!" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So when the promise will come upon them and they will see the punishment close to them on the Day of Judgement, the faces of those who disbelieved in Allah will change and become dark. And it will be said to them, “This is what you used to ask for and want hastily!” |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | फिर जब वे उसे निकट देखेंगे तो उन लोगों के चेहरे बिगड़ जाएँगे जिन्होंने इनकार की नीति अपनाई; और कहा जाएगा, "यही है वह चीज़ जिसकी तुम माँग कर रहे थे।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो जब ये लोग उसे करीब से देख लेंगे (ख़ौफ के मारे) काफिरों के चेहरे बिगड़ जाएँगे और उनसे कहा जाएगा ये वही है जिसके तुम ख़वास्तग़ार थे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर जब वह वादा उनके पास आ जाएगा और वे यातना को अपने निकट देखेंगे और यह क़ियामत के दिन होगा, तो अल्लाह का इनकार करने वालों के चेहरे बिगड़ जाएँगे और काले पड़ जाएँगे और उनसे कहा जाएगा : यह वही चीज़ है, जो तुम दुनिया में माँगा करते थे और उसकी जल्दी मचाया करते थे। |
| Ayah 28 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل أَرَأَيتُم إِن أَهلَكَنِيَ اللَّهُ وَمَن مَعِيَ أَو رَحِمَنا فَمَن يُجيرُ الكافِرينَ مِن عَذابٍ أَليمٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul araaytum in ahlakaniya Allahu waman maAAiya aw rahimana faman yujeeru alkafireena min AAathabin aleemin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul ara'aytum in ahlaka niyal laahu wa mam ma'iya aw rahimanaa famai-yujeerul kaafireena min 'azaabin aleem |
| English (Pickthall) | Say (O Muhammad): Have ye thought: Whether Allah causeth me (Muhammad) and those with me to perish or hath mercy on us, still, who will protect the disbelievers from a painful doom? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "See ye?- If Allah were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us,- yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty?" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?" |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger! Say to these rejecting idolaters, reprimanding them: “Tell me, if Allah was to case death to me and to those with me i.e. the believers, who will save the disbelievers from a painful punishment?” No one will ever save them from it. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कहो, "क्या तुमने यह भी सोचा कि यदि अल्लाह मुझे और उन्हें भी, जो मेरे साथ है, विनष्ट ही कर दे या वह हम पर दया करे, आख़िर इनकार करनेवालों को दुखद यातना से कौन पनाह देगा?" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो भला देखो तो कि अगर ख़ुदा मुझको और मेरे साथियों को हलाक कर दे या हम पर रहम फरमाए तो काफ़िरों को दर्दनाक अज़ाब से कौन पनाह देगा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) आप इन झुठलाने वाले मुश्रिकों से उनका खंडन करते हुए कह दें : मुझे बताओ कि अगर अल्लाह मुझे मौत दे दे और मेरे साथ जो मोमिन हैं उन्हें भी मृत्यु दे दे, या हम पर दया करे और हमारी मृत्यु को विलंब कर दे, तो काफ़िरों को दर्दनाक यातना से कौन बचाएगा?! निश्चय उन्हें इससे कोई नहीं बचाएगा। |
| Ayah 29 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل هُوَ الرَّحمٰنُ آمَنّا بِهِ وَعَلَيهِ تَوَكَّلنا ۖ فَسَتَعلَمونَ مَن هُوَ في ضَلالٍ مُبينٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul huwa alrrahmanu amanna bihi waAAalayhi tawakkalna fasataAAlamoona man huwa fee dalalin mubeenin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul huwar rahmaanu aamannaa bihee wa 'alaihi tawakkalnaa fasata'lamoona man huwa fee dalaalim mubeen |
| English (Pickthall) | Say: He is the Beneficent. In Him we believe and in Him we put our trust. And ye will soon know who it is that is in error manifest. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger! Say to these idolaters: “He is The Merciful who invites you to worshipping Him alone. We have brought faith in Him, and upon Him alone we rely for our affairs. You will soon know, inevitably, who was in clear deviance and who was on the straight path.” |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कह दो, "वह रहमान है। उसी पर हम ईमान लाए है और उसी पर हमने भरोसा किया। तो शीघ्र ही तुम्हें मालूम हो जाएगा कि खुली गुमराही में कौन पड़ा हुआ है।" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तुम कह दो कि वही (ख़ुदा) बड़ा रहम करने वाला है जिस पर हम ईमान लाए हैं और हमने तो उसी पर भरोसा कर लिया है तो अनक़रीब ही तुम्हें मालूम हो जाएगा कि कौन सरीही गुमराही में (पड़ा) है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल!) आप इन मुश्रिकों से कह दें : वही 'रहमान' है, जो तुम्हें अकेले अपनी इबादत के लिए आमंत्रित करता है। हम उसपर ईमान लाए, तथा अकेले उसी पर हमने अपने मामलों भरोसा किया है। चुनाँचे शीघ्र ही तुम्हें - अनिवार्य रूप से - पता चल जाएगा कि कौन स्पष्ट गुमराही में है और कौन सीधे रास्ते पर है। |
| Ayah 30 |
| عَرَبِي | قُل أَرَأَيتُم إِن أَصبَحَ ماؤُكُم غَورًا فَمَن يَأتيكُم بِماءٍ مَعينٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Qul araaytum in asbaha maokum ghawran faman yateekum bimain maAAeenin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Qul ara'aytum in asbaha maaa'ukum ghawran famai yaateekum bimaaa'im ma'een |
| English (Pickthall) | Say: Have ye thought: If (all) your water were to disappear into the earth, who then could bring you gushing water? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Say: "See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?" |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger! Say to these idolaters: “Tell me, if the water you drink from was to seep away into the earth and you could not get to it, who then would bring you abundant, flowing water?” No one other than Allah could. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | कहो, "क्या तुमने यह भी सोचा कि यदि तुम्हारा पानी (धरती में) नीचे उतर जाए तो फिर कौन तुम्हें लाकर देगा निर्मल प्रवाहित जल?" |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ऐ रसूल तुम कह दो कि भला देखो तो कि अगर तुम्हारा पानी ज़मीन के अन्दर चला जाए कौन ऐसा है जो तुम्हारे लिए पानी का चश्मा बहा लाए |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल) आप इन मुश्रिकों से कहें : मुझे बताओ कि क्या तुम्हारा वह पानी, जिसमें से तुम पीते हो, यदि धरती में नीचे चला जाए और तुम्हारी पहुँच से बाहर हो जाए, तो कौन है जो तुम्हारे पास बहता हुआ पानी लाए?! निश्चित रूप से अल्लाह के सिवा कोई नहीं। |
