| عَرَبِي | وَما أَدراكَ مَا الحاقَّةُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wama adraka ma alhaqqatu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa maaa adraaka mal haaaqqah |
| English (Pickthall) | Ah, what will convey unto thee what the reality is! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And what will make thee realise what the Sure Reality is? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality? |

| عَرَبِي | كَذَّبَت ثَمودُ وَعادٌ بِالقارِعَةِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Kaththabat thamoodu waAAadun bialqariAAati |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Kazzabat samoodu wa 'Aadum bil qaari'ah |
| English (Pickthall) | (The tribes of) Thamud and A'ad disbelieved in the judgment to come. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | The Thamud and the 'Ad People (branded) as false the Stunning Calamity! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The Thamūd, the people of Saleh, and the ‘Ād, the people of Hud all denied the Day of Judgement that will strike the people with its severe horrors. |

| عَرَبِي | فَأَمّا ثَمودُ فَأُهلِكوا بِالطّاغِيَةِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faamma thamoodu faohlikoo bialttaghiyati |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa-ammaa Samoodu fauhlikoo bittaaghiyah |
| English (Pickthall) | As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the lightning. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But the Thamud,- they were destroyed by a terrible Storm of thunder and lightning! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | As for the Thamūd, Allah destroyed them with a scream that reached the height of severity and horror. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जहाँ तक समूद के लोगों की बात है, तो अल्लाह ने उन्हें ऐसी आवाज़ से नष्ट कर दिया, जो तीव्रता और भयावहता में अंत को पहुँच गई थी। |

| عَرَبِي | وَأَمّا عادٌ فَأُهلِكوا بِريحٍ صَرصَرٍ عاتِيَةٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waamma AAadun faohlikoo bireehin sarsarin AAatiyatin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa ammaa 'Aadun fa uhlikoo bireehin sarsarin 'aatiyah |
| English (Pickthall) | And as for A'ad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And the 'Ad, they were destroyed by a furious Wind, exceedingly violent; |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | As for the ‘Ād, Allah destroyed them with a severely cold, relentless wind that reached the height of harshness upon them. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | रहे आद तो वह बहुत शदीद तेज़ ऑंधी से हलाक कर दिए गए |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और रही बात आद समुदाय की, तो अल्लाह ने उन्हें बड़ी ठंडी और प्रचंड आँधी से विनष्ट कर दिया। |

| عَرَبِي | سَخَّرَها عَلَيهِم سَبعَ لَيالٍ وَثَمانِيَةَ أَيّامٍ حُسومًا فَتَرَى القَومَ فيها صَرعىٰ كَأَنَّهُم أَعجازُ نَخلٍ خاوِيَةٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Sakhkharaha AAalayhim sabAAa layalin wathamaniyata ayyamin husooman fatara alqawma feeha sarAAa kaannahum aAAjazu nakhlin khawiyatun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Sakhkharahaa 'alaihim sab'a la yaalinw wa samaaniyata ayyaamin husooman fataral qawma feehaa sar'aa ka annahum a'jaazu nakhlin khaawiyah |
| English (Pickthall) | Which He imposed on them for seven long nights and eight long days so that thou mightest have seen men lying overthrown, as they were hollow trunks of palm-trees. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Allah released it upon them for seven nights and eight days, destroying them all. You would have seen the people destroyed in their homes, thrown onto the ground by the wind; as if they were the decomposed trunks of date palms fallen to the ground. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अल्लाह ने उसको सात रात और आठ दिन तक उन्मूलन के उद्देश्य से उनपर लगाए रखा। तो लोगों को तुम देखते कि वे उसमें पछाड़े हुए ऐसे पड़े है मानो वे खजूर के जर्जर तने हों |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ख़ुदा ने उसे सात रात और आठ दिन लगाकर उन पर चलाया तो लोगों को इस तरह ढहे (मुर्दे) पड़े देखता कि गोया वह खजूरों के खोखले तने हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अल्लाह ने उसे उनपर सात रातों और आठ दिनों की अवधि के लिए भेज दिया, जो उन्हें जड़ से विनष्ट कर रही थी। चुनाँचे आप उन्हें उनके घरों में मृत ज़मीन पर पड़े हुए देखते, गोया कि वे विनष्ट किए जाने के बाद धरती पर गिरे हुए खजूरों के जर्जर तने हों। |
| Ayah 8 |
| عَرَبِي | فَهَل تَرىٰ لَهُم مِن باقِيَةٍ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fahal tara lahum min baqiyatin |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fahal taraa lahum mim baaqiyah |
| English (Pickthall) | Canst thou (O Muhammad) see any remnant of them? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then seest thou any of them left surviving? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then do you see of them any remains? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Do you see anyone of them remaining, after the punishment that afflicted them? |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अब क्या तुम्हें उनमें से कोई शेष दिखाई देता है? |

| Ayah 9 |
| عَرَبِي | وَجاءَ فِرعَونُ وَمَن قَبلَهُ وَالمُؤتَفِكاتُ بِالخاطِئَةِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wajaa firAAawnu waman qablahu waalmutafikatu bialkhatiati |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa jaaa'a Firawnu wa man qablahoo wal mu'tafikaatu bilhaati'ah |
| English (Pickthall) | And Pharaoh and those before him, and the communities that were destroyed, brought error, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Pharaoh and the nations before him, and the communities that were punished by being turned upside down i.e. the people of Lot, all committed wrong acts in ascribing partners with Allah and sins. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और फ़िरऔन ने और उससे पहले के लोगों ने और तलपट हो जानेवाली बस्तियों ने यह ख़ता की |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और फिरऔन और जो लोग उससे पहले थे और वह लोग (क़ौमे लूत) जो उलटी हुई बस्तियों के रहने वाले थे सब गुनाह के काम करते थे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फ़िरऔन और उससे पहले के समुदायों और ऊपर-नीचे उलटकर यातना दी जाने वाली बस्तियों अर्थात लूत अलैहिस्सलाम की जाति के लोगों ने शिर्क एवं अवज्ञा जैसे गलत कार्य किए। |
| Ayah 10 |
| عَرَبِي | فَعَصَوا رَسولَ رَبِّهِم فَأَخَذَهُم أَخذَةً رابِيَةً |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | FaAAasaw rasoola rabbihim faakhathahum akhthatan rabiyatan |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa'ansaw Rasoola Rabbihim fa akhazahum akhzatar raabiyah |
| English (Pickthall) | And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, therefor did He grip them with a tightening grip. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And disobeyed (each) the messenger of their Lord; so He punished them with an abundant Penalty. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Each of them disobeyed their Messengers who were sent to them and rejected them, so Allah seized them with a seizing that exceeded the force required to destroy them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | उन्होंने अपने रब के रसूल की अवज्ञा की तो उसने उन्हें ऐसी पकड़ में ले लिया जो बड़ी कठोर थी |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो उन लोगों ने अपने परवरदिगार के रसूल की नाफ़रमानी की तो ख़ुदा ने भी उनकी बड़ी सख्ती से ले दे कर डाली |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | चुनाँचे उनमें से प्रत्येक ने अपने रसूल की अवज्ञा की और उसे झुठलाया, तो अल्लाह ने उनकी उससे कहीं अधिक पकड़ की, जो उनके विनाश के लिए काफ़ी थी। |
| Ayah 11 |
| عَرَبِي | إِنّا لَمّا طَغَى الماءُ حَمَلناكُم فِي الجارِيَةِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Inna lamma tagha almao hamalnakum fee aljariyati |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innaa lammaa taghal maaa'u hamalnaakum fil jaariyah |
| English (Pickthall) | Lo! when the waters rose, We carried you upon the ship |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | We, when the water (of Noah's Flood) overflowed beyond its limits, carried you (mankind), in the floating (Ark), |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Indeed, when the water exceeded its limit in rising, I carried those of you who were in their backs on the ark that floated and which Noah (peace be upon him) built upon My command. So in effect, I carried you. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जब पानी उमड़ आया तो हमने तुम्हें प्रवाहित नौका में सवार किया; |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जब पानी चढ़ने लगा तो हमने तुमको कशती पर सवार किया |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जब पानी ऊंचाई में अपनी सीमा से ऊपर बढ़ गया, तो हमने उन लोगों को, जिनकी पुश्त में तुम थे, उस बहती नाव में सवार किया, जिसे नूह अलैहिस्सलाम ने हमारे आदेश से बनाया था। तो इस तरह यह तुम्हें सवार करना था। |
| Ayah 12 |
| عَرَبِي | لِنَجعَلَها لَكُم تَذكِرَةً وَتَعِيَها أُذُنٌ واعِيَةٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | LinajAAalaha lakum tathkiratan wataAAiyaha othunun waAAiyatun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Linaj'alahaa lakum tazki ratanw-wa ta'iyahaa unzununw waa'iyah |
| English (Pickthall) | That We might make it a memorial for you, and that remembering ears (that heard the story) might remember. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | That We might make it a Message unto you, and that ears (that should hear the tale and) retain its memory should bear its (lessons) in remembrance. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So that I could let the ark and its tale become a lesson through which proof of the destruction of the people of disbelief could be taken, together with the saving of the people of faith, and so attentive ears could take heed. |

| عَرَبِي | فَإِذا نُفِخَ فِي الصّورِ نَفخَةٌ واحِدَةٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faitha nufikha fee alssoori nafkhatun wahidatun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa izaa nufikha fis soori nafkhatunw waahidah |
| English (Pickthall) | And when the trumpet shall sound one blast |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then, when one blast is sounded on the Trumpet, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then when the Horn is blown with one blast |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So when the appointed angel will blow into the trumpet once, being the second blowing. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तो याद रखो जब सूर (नरसिंघा) में एक फूँक मारी जाएगी, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | फिर जब सूर में एक (बार) फूँक मार दी जाएगी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर जब सूर में फूँक मारने पर नियुक्त फ़रिश्ता एक फूँक मारेगा, और यह दूसरी बार फूँक मारना है। |
| Ayah 14 |
| عَرَبِي | وَحُمِلَتِ الأَرضُ وَالجِبالُ فَدُكَّتا دَكَّةً واحِدَةً |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wahumilati alardu waaljibalu fadukkata dakkatan wahidatan |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa humilatil ardu wal jibaalu fadukkataa dakkatanw waahidah |
| English (Pickthall) | And the earth with the mountains shall be lifted up and crushed with one crash, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And the earth is moved, and its mountains, and they are crushed to powder at one stroke,- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow - |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And the earth and mountains are raised, then crushed with one severe blow, the earth and its mountains will turn to pieces. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और धरती और पहाड़ों को उठाकर एक ही बार में चूर्ण-विचूर्ण कर दिया जाएगा |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और ज़मीन और पहाड़ उठाकर एक बारगी (टकरा कर) रेज़ा रेज़ा कर दिए जाएँगे तो उस रोज़ क़यामत आ ही जाएगी |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और धरती तथा पहाड़ों को उठाया जाएगा और दोनों को एक ही बार इस ज़ोर से टकराया जाएगा कि धरती के हिस्से तथा उसके पहाड़ों के हिस्से अलग-अलग हो जाएँगे। |
| Ayah 15 |
| عَرَبِي | فَيَومَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ الواقِعَةُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fayawmaithin waqaAAati alwaqiAAatu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa yawma'izinw waqa'atil waaqi'ah |
| English (Pickthall) | Then, on that day will the Event befall. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | On that Day shall the (Great) Event come to pass. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | On the day when all that happens, the Day of Judgement will occur. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तो उस दिन घटित होनेवाली घटना घटित हो जाएगी, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और आसमान फट जाएगा |

| Ayah 16 |
| عَرَبِي | وَانشَقَّتِ السَّماءُ فَهِيَ يَومَئِذٍ واهِيَةٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wainshaqqati alssamao fahiya yawmaithin wahiyatun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wanshaqqatis samaaa'u fahiya yawma 'izinw-waahiyah |
| English (Pickthall) | And the heaven will split asunder, for that day it will be frail. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And the sky will be rent asunder, for it will that Day be flimsy, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And the sky will crack open on that day because of the angels descending from it. So on that day it will be weak, whereas it was once solid and unyielding. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और आकाश फट जाएगा और उस दिन उसका बन्धन ढीला पड़ जाएगा, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो वह उस दिन बहुत फुस फुसा होगा और फ़रिश्ते उनके किनारे पर होंगे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उस दिन आसमान फट जाएगा, ताकि उससे फ़रिश्ते उतर सकें। तो उस दिन वह कमज़ोर होगा, जबकि वह पहले मज़बूत और सुसंगत था। |
| Ayah 17 |
| عَرَبِي | وَالمَلَكُ عَلىٰ أَرجائِها ۚ وَيَحمِلُ عَرشَ رَبِّكَ فَوقَهُم يَومَئِذٍ ثَمانِيَةٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waalmalaku AAala arjaiha wayahmilu AAarsha rabbika fawqahum yawmaithin thamaniyatun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wal malaku 'alaaa arjaaa'ihaa; wa yahmilu 'Arsha Rabbika fawqahum yawma'izin samaaniyah |
| English (Pickthall) | And the angels will be on the sides thereof, and eight will uphold the Throne of thy Lord that day, above them. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them]. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | The angels will be on its edges and corners. Eight elite angels will carry the throne of your Lord on that great day. |

| عَرَبِي | يَومَئِذٍ تُعرَضونَ لا تَخفىٰ مِنكُم خافِيَةٌ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Yawmaithin tuAAradoona la takhfa minkum khafiyatun |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yawma'izin tu'radoona laa takhfaa min kum khaafiyah |
| English (Pickthall) | On that day ye will be exposed; not a secret of you will be hidden. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | That Day shall ye be brought to Judgment: not an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O people! On that Day, you will be exhibited for judgemen]; not hidden among you is anything concealed, rather Allah will be fully aware and watchful of it. |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | wa laa yahuddu 'alaa ta'aamil miskeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And urged not on the feeding of the wretched. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor. |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Falaysa lahul yawma haahunaa hameem |
| English (Pickthall) | Therefor hath he no lover here this day, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | "So no friend hath he here this Day. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend |

| English (Yusuf Ali) | "Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds, |

| Ayah 42 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلا بِقَولِ كاهِنٍ ۚ قَليلًا ما تَذَكَّرونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wala biqawli kahinin qaleelan ma tathakkaroona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laa biqawli kaahin; qaleelam maa tazakkaroon |
| English (Pickthall) | Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Neither is it the speech of a fortune teller because the speech of fortune tellers is different to that of this Qur’ān; little do you take heed! |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यह किसी काहिन की भी वाणी नहीं है। क्योंकि काहिनों की बात इस क़ुरआन से बिलकुल अलग होती है। तुम बहुत कम शिक्षा ग्रहण करते हो। |

| عَرَبِي | تَنزيلٌ مِن رَبِّ العالَمينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Tanzeelun min rabbi alAAalameena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Tanzeelum mir rabbil 'aalameen |
| English (Pickthall) | It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Rather, it is a revelation from the Lord of all creation. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अवतरण है सारे संसार के रब की ओर से, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | सारे जहाँन के परवरदिगार का नाज़िल किया हुआ (क़लाम) है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | बल्कि यह सभी प्राणियों के पालनहार की ओर से उतारा हुआ है। |
| Ayah 44 |
| عَرَبِي | وَلَو تَقَوَّلَ عَلَينا بَعضَ الأَقاويلِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walaw taqawwala AAalayna baAAda alaqaweeli |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa law taqawwala 'alainaa ba'dal aqaaweel |
| English (Pickthall) | And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And if Muhammad was to fabricate lies and attribute them to Me, which I had not said. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | यदि वह (नबी) हमपर थोपकर कुछ बातें घड़ता, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | अगर रसूल हमारी निस्बत कोई झूठ बात बना लाते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और यदि मुहम्मद (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) हमपर कोई ऐसी बात गढ़कर लगा देते, जो हमने नहीं कही है। |
| Ayah 45 |
| عَرَبِي | لَأَخَذنا مِنهُ بِاليَمينِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Laakhathna minhu bialyameeni |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | La-akhaznaa minhu bilyameen |
| English (Pickthall) | We assuredly had taken him by the right hand |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | We should certainly seize him by his right hand, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | We would have seized him by the right hand; |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | I would definitely take forceful and due retribution from him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तो अवश्य हम उसका दाहिना हाथ पकड़ लेते, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो हम उनका दाहिना हाथ पकड़ लेते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो निश्चय हम उससे बदला लेते और उसे शक्ति और क्षमता के साथ पकड़ लेते। |
| Ayah 46 |
| عَرَبِي | ثُمَّ لَقَطَعنا مِنهُ الوَتينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Thumma laqataAAna minhu alwateena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Summa laqata'naa minhul wateen |
| English (Pickthall) | And then severed his life-artery, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then We would have cut from him the aorta. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Then I would cut the vein connected to his heart. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | फिर उसकी गर्दन की रग काट देते, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | फिर हम ज़रूर उनकी गर्दन उड़ा देते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर निश्चय हम उसकी दिल से मिली हुई नस काट देते। |
| Ayah 47 |
| عَرَبِي | فَما مِنكُم مِن أَحَدٍ عَنهُ حاجِزينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fama minkum min ahadin AAanhu hajizeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Famaa minkum min ahadin'anhu haajizeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And not one of you could have held Us off from him. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | But none of you can protect him from Me, so it is far-fetched that he fabricates lies because of you. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और तुममें से कोई भी इससे रोकनेवाला न होता |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो तुममें से कोई उनसे (मुझे रोक न सकता) |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | फिर तुममें से कोई भी हमें उससे रोक नहीं सकता। इसलिए उसका तुम्हारी ख़ातिर हमपर कोई बात गढ़कर लगाना बहुत दूर की बात है। |
| Ayah 48 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِنَّهُ لَتَذكِرَةٌ لِلمُتَّقينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wainnahu latathkiratun lilmuttaqeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa innahoo latazkiratul lilmuttaqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And indeed, the Qur’ān is an admonition for those who are mindful of their Lord by fulfilling His commands and refraining from the things He has not allowed. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और निश्चय ही वह एक अनुस्मृति है डर रखनेवालों के लिए |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये तो परहेज़गारों के लिए नसीहत है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निःसंदेह क़ुरआन उन लोगों के लिए निश्चय एक उपदेश है, जो अपने पालनहार से, उसके आदेशों का पालन करके और उसकी मना की हुई चीज़ों से बचकर, डरने वाले हैं। |
| Ayah 49 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِنّا لَنَعلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُكَذِّبينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wainna lanaAAlamu anna minkum mukaththibeena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa inna lana'lamu anna minkum mukazzibeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And I know that there are definitely people among you who reject this Qur’ān. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और निश्चय ही हम जानते है कि तुममें कितने ही ऐसे है जो झुठलाते है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और हम ख़ूब जानते हैं कि तुम में से कुछ लोग (इसके) झुठलाने वाले हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और निःसंदेह हम भली-भाँति जानते हैं कि तुम्हारे अंदर कुछ लोग ऐसे हैं, जो इस क़ुरआन को झुठलाते हैं। |
| Ayah 50 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِنَّهُ لَحَسرَةٌ عَلَى الكافِرينَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wainnahu lahasratun AAala alkafireena |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa innahu lahasratun 'alal kaafireen |
| English (Pickthall) | And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Indeed, rejection of this Qur’ān will be a means of great regret on the Day of Judgement. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | निश्चय ही वह इनकार करनेवालों के लिए सर्वथा पछतावा है, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि ये काफ़िरों की हसरत का बाएस है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और निःसंदेह क़ुरआन को झुठलाना निश्चित रूप से क़ियामत के दिन बड़े पछतावे का कारण होगा। |
| Ayah 51 |
| عَرَبِي | وَإِنَّهُ لَحَقُّ اليَقينِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wainnahu lahaqqu alyaqeeni |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa innahoo lahaqqul yaqeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And lo! it is absolute truth. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Indeed, the Qur’ān is the certain truth: there is no doubt and dispute that it is from Allah. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और वह बिल्कुल विश्वसनीय सत्य है। |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और इसमें शक़ नहीं कि ये यक़ीनन बरहक़ है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और निःसंदेह क़ुरआन बिलकुल विश्वसनीय सत्य है, जिसके अल्लाह की ओर से होने में कोई शक एवं संदेह नहीं है। |
| Ayah 52 |
| عَرَبِي | فَسَبِّح بِاسمِ رَبِّكَ العَظيمِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fasabbih biismi rabbika alAAatheemi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fasbbih bismi Rabbikal 'Azeem |
| English (Pickthall) | So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger! So proclaim the purity of you Lord of whatever is not befitting of Him, and remember His great name. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः तुम अपने महिमावान रब के नाम की तसबीह (गुणगान) करो |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो तुम अपने परवरदिगार की तसबीह करो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो (ऐ रसूल) आप अपने पालनहार को उस चीज़ से पवित्र ठहराएँ, जो उसके योग्य नहीं है। और अपने महान पालनहार के नाम का जप करें। |
