| عَرَبِي | لا أَعبُدُ ما تَعبُدونَ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | La aAAbudu ma taAAbudoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Laa a'budu ma t'abudoon |
| English (Pickthall) | I worship not that which ye worship; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | I worship not that which ye worship, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | I do not worship what you worship. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | I do not and will not worship the idols you worship. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | मैं वैसी बन्दगी नहीं करूँगा जैसी बन्दगी तुम करते हो, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तुम जिन चीज़ों को पूजते हो, मैं उनको नहीं पूजता |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | मैं उन मूर्तियों की न वर्तमान में इबादत करता हूँ और न भविष्य में इबादत करूँगा, जिन्हें तुम पूजते हो। |

| عَرَبِي | وَلا أَنتُم عابِدونَ ما أَعبُدُ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wala antum AAabidoona ma aAAbudu |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laa antum 'aabidoona maa a'bud |
| English (Pickthall) | Nor worship ye that which I worship. |

| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Nor are you worshippers of what I worship. |

| عَرَبِي | وَلا أَنا عابِدٌ ما عَبَدتُم |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wala ana AAabidun ma AAabadtum |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa laa ana 'abidum maa 'abattum |
| English (Pickthall) | And I shall not worship that which ye worship. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Nor am I going to worship the idols you worship. |

| عَرَبِي | لَكُم دينُكُم وَلِيَ دينِ |
| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Lakum deenukum waliya deeni |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Lakum deenukum wa liya deen. |
| English (Pickthall) | Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | To you be your Way, and to me mine. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | You have your religion you thought up for yourselves, and I have my religion that Allah revealed to me. |
