| English (Pickthall) | Lo! ye, forsooth, are of various opinion (concerning the truth). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, you are in differing speech. |
| English (Qarai) | indeed you are of different opinions! |
| English (Hilali) | Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O people of Makkah, you are in a contradicting and conflicting speech. Sometimes you say: The Qur’ān is magic, at times you say poetry. And you say: Muhammad is a magician at times, and sometimes that he is a poet. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | निश्चय ही तुम उस बात में पड़े हुए हो जिनमें कथन भिन्न-भिन्न है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | कि (ऐ अहले मक्का) तुम लोग एक ऐसी मुख्तलिफ़ बेजोड़ बात में पड़े हो |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निश्चय (ऐ मक्का वालो!) तुम एक विरोधाभासी और परस्पर विरोधी बात में पड़े हो। कभी तुम कहते हो : क़ुरआन जादू है, तो कभी कहते हो कि काव्य (शे'र) है। इसी तरह कभी कहते हो कि मुहम्मद जादूगर हैं, तो कभी कहते हो कि कवि (शा'इर) हैं। |
