| English (Pickthall) | And have appointed a dazzling lamp, |

| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And made [therein] a burning lamp |
| English (Qarai) | and make [the sun for] a radiant lamp? |
| English (Hilali) | And have made (therein) a shinning lamp (sun). |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa anzalna minal m'usiraati maa-an thaj-jaaja |

| English (Yusuf Ali) | And do We not send down from the clouds water in abundance, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water |
