| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa azinat li Rabbihaa wa huqqat |
| English (Pickthall) | And attentive to her Lord in fear, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord, and it must needs (do so);- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] |
| English (Qarai) | and gives ear to its Lord as it should. |
| English (Hilali) | And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; |

| عَرَبِي | وَأَلقَت ما فيها وَتَخَلَّت |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa alqat maa feehaa wa takhallat |
| English (Pickthall) | And hath cast out all that was in her, and is empty |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And casts forth what is within it and becomes (clean) empty, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it] |
| English (Qarai) | and throws out what is in it, emptying itself, |

| عَرَبِي | يا أَيُّهَا الإِنسانُ إِنَّكَ كادِحٌ إِلىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدحًا فَمُلاقيهِ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ya ayyuha alinsanu innaka kadihun ila rabbika kadhan famulaqeehi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Yaaa ayyuhal insaanu innaka kaadihun ilaa Rabbika kad han famulaaqeeh |
| English (Pickthall) | Thou, verily, O man, art working toward thy Lord a work which thou wilt meet (in His presence). |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | O thou man! Verily thou art ever toiling on towards thy Lord- painfully toiling,- but thou shalt meet Him. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it. |
| English (Qarai) | O man! You are labouring toward your Lord laboriously, and you will encounter Him. |
| English (Hilali) | O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which you did). |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O man, you are either doing good or evil and you will meet it on the Day of Judgment, so that Allah can give you the recompense for that. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | ऐ मनुष्य! तू मशक़्क़त करता हुआ अपने रब ही की ओर खिंचा चला जा रहा है और अन्ततः उससे मिलने वाला है |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और उस पर लाज़िम भी यही है (तो क़यामत आ जाएगी) ऐ इन्सान तू अपने परवरदिगार की हुज़ूरी की कोशिश करता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | ऐ इनसान! निश्चय तू अच्छा या बुरा जो भी काम कर रहा है, क़ियामत के दिन उससे मिलने वाला है, ताकि अल्लाह तुझे उसका बदला दे। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૬. હે માનવી! તું પોતાના પાલનહાર પાસે પહોચતા સુધી સતત કોઈ મહેનત કરતો રહીશ, અહી સુધી કે તેની પાસે જતો રહીશ. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ६) हे मानिस ! तिमी आफ्नो पालनकर्तासित भेट्दासम्म प्रयास र अनेक काम गरेर उसित भेटने छौ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | ऐ इनसान! निःसंदेह तू कठिन परिश्रम करते-करते अपने पालनहार की ओर जाने वाला है, फिर तू उससे मिलने वाला है। |

| عَرَبِي | فَأَمّا مَن أوتِيَ كِتابَهُ بِيَمينِهِ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faama man ootiya kitabahu biyameenihi |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa ammaa man ootiya kitaabahoo biyameenih |
| English (Pickthall) | Then whoso is given his account in his right hand |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then he who is given his Record in his right hand, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand, |
| English (Qarai) | Then, as for him who is given his record [of deeds] in his right hand, |
| English (Hilali) | Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Since Allah mentioned man’s action in brief, he details the condition of those who did action on the day of judgment by saying: As for him who is given his book of deeds in his right hand. |

| English (Pickthall) | He truly will receive an easy reckoning |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | He will be judged with an easy account |
| English (Qarai) | he will receive an easy reckoning, |
| English (Hilali) | He surely will receive an easy reckoning, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He will have an easy reckoning by Allah and his actions will be presented to Him without his being taken to task. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो अल्लाह उसका आसान हिसाब लेगा; उसके सामने उसके कार्यों को पेश किया जाएगा, लेकिन उसपर पकड़ नहीं की जाएगी। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૮. તેનો હિસાબ તો ખુબ જ સરળ લેવામાં આવશે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ८) त ऊसित सरलताको साथ हिसाब लिइनेछ । |

| عَرَبِي | وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلىٰ أَهلِهِ مَسرورًا |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wayanqalibu ila ahlihi masrooran |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa yanqalibu ilaaa ahlihee masrooraa |
| English (Pickthall) | And will return unto his folk in joy. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And he will turn to his people, rejoicing! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And return to his people in happiness. |
| English (Qarai) | and he will return to his folks joyfully. |

| عَرَبِي | وَأَمّا مَن أوتِيَ كِتابَهُ وَراءَ ظَهرِهِ |

| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૧૦. હા! જે વ્યક્તિને તેનો કર્મનોંધ તેની પીઠ પાછળથી આપવામાં આવશે. |

| عَرَبِي | فَسَوفَ يَدعو ثُبورًا |

| English (Pickthall) | He surely will invoke destruction |

| English (Saheeh Int’l) | He will cry out for destruction |
| English (Qarai) | he will pray for annihilation |
| English (Hilali) | He will invoke (his) destruction, |

| عَرَبِي | وَيَصلىٰ سَعيرًا |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa yaslaa sa'eeraa |
| English (Pickthall) | And be thrown to scorching fire. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And he will enter a Blazing Fire. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And [enter to] burn in a Blaze. |
| English (Qarai) | and enter the Blaze. |
| English (Hilali) | And shall enter a blazing Fire, and made to taste its burning. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And he will enter the fire of Hell to suffer from its heat. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और दहकती आग में जा पड़ेगा |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और जहन्नुम वासिल होगा |

| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | तथा जहन्नम में प्रवेश करेगा। |

| عَرَبِي | إِنَّهُ كانَ في أَهلِهِ مَسرورًا |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Innahoo kaana feee ahlihee masrooraa |
| English (Pickthall) | He verily lived joyous with his folk, |

| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness; |

| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૧૩. તે પોતાના ઘરવાળાઓ સાથે (દુનિયામાં) ઘણો ખુશ હતો. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | १३) त्यो मानिस आफ्नो आफन्तका मानिसहरूमा मग्न रहन्थ्यो । |
