| عَرَبِي | وَاللَّيلِ إِذا سَجىٰ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waallayli itha saja |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wal laili iza sajaa |
| English (Pickthall) | And by the night when it is stillest, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And by the Night when it is still,- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, |
| English (Qarai) | and by the night when it is calm! |
| English (Hilali) | And by the night when it is still (or darkens); |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And He takes an oath on the night when it darkens and people cease to move in it. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और रात जबकि उसका सन्नाटा छा जाए |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और रात की जब (चीज़ों को) छुपा ले |

| عَرَبِي | ما وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَما قَلىٰ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Ma waddaAAaka rabbuka wama qala |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Ma wad da'aka rabbuka wa ma qalaa |
| English (Pickthall) | Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. |
| English (Qarai) | Your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, |
| English (Hilali) | Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | O Messenger! Your Lord has not left you, nor has he begun to hate you, as the idolaters claimed when there was a break in the revelation. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तुम्हारे रब ने तुम्हें न तो विदा किया और न वह बेज़ार (अप्रसन्न) हुआ |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | कि तुम्हारा परवरदिगार न तुमको छोड़ बैठा और (न तुमसे) नाराज़ हुआ |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | (ऐ रसूल) आपके पालनहार ने न आपको छोड़ा और न आपको नापसंद किया, जैसा कि मुश्रिकों का कहना है, जब वह़्य (प्रकाशना) का सिलसिला कुछ दिनों के लिए रुक गया। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૩. ન તો તારા પાલનહારે તને છોડયો છે, અને ન તો તે નારાજ થયો છે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ३) तिम्रो पालनकर्ताले न त तिमीलाई छाडेको छ र न उदासीन भएको छ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | (ऐ नबी!) तेरे पालनहार ने तुझे न तो छोड़ा और न नाराज़ हुआ। |

| عَرَبِي | وَلَلآخِرَةُ خَيرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الأولىٰ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walalakhiratu khayrun laka mina aloola |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Walal-aakhiratu khairul laka minal-oola |
| English (Pickthall) | And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. |
| English (Qarai) | and the Hereafter shall be better for you than the world. |
| English (Hilali) | And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Indeed, the abode of the afterlife is better for you than the worldly one, because of the everlasting bounties that it has. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और तुम्हारे वास्ते आख़ेरत दुनिया से यक़ीनी कहीं बेहतर है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और आपके लिए आख़िरत का घर दुनिया से बेहतर है, क्योंकि वहाँ स्थायी नेमतें हैं, जो कभी खत्म नहीं होंगी। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૪. અને ખરેખર તમારા માટે આગળનો સમય પહેલા સમય કરતા વધુ સારો હશે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ४) निश्चितरूपले तिम्रो निम्ति पहिलोभन्दा परिणाम राम्रो हुनेछ । |

| عَرَبِي | وَلَسَوفَ يُعطيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرضىٰ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Walasawfa yuAAteeka rabbuka fatarda |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa la sawfa y'uteeka rabbuka fatarda |
| English (Pickthall) | And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. |
| English (Qarai) | Soon your Lord will give you [that with which] you will be pleased. |
| English (Hilali) | And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Very soon He will grant you an abundant reward, and your nation also, until you become content with what He has granted you and your nation. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और शीघ्र ही तुम्हारा रब तुम्हें प्रदान करेगा कि तुम प्रसन्न हो जाओगे |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और तुम्हारा परवरदिगार अनक़रीब इस क़दर अता करेगा कि तुम ख़ुश हो जाओ |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निश्चय अल्लाह आपको तथा आपकी उम्मत को व्यापक बदला प्रदान करेगा यहाँ तक कि आप ख़ुद को दिए गए और अपनी उम्मत को दिए गए (प्रतिफल) से प्रसन्न हो जाएँगे। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૫. તમને તમારો પાલનહાર તમને નજીકમાં એટલું આપશે કે તમે ખુશ થઇ જશો. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ५) तिम्रो पालनकर्ताले शीघ्र नै तिमीलाई (पुरस्कार) प्रदान गर्नेछ त तिमी प्रसन्न भइहाल्नेछौ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | और निश्चय तेरा पालनहार तुझे प्रदान करेगा, तो तू प्रसन्न हो जाएगा। |
| Roman Urdu (Maududi) | Aur anqareeb tumhra Rubb tumko itna dega ke tum khush ho jaogey |

| عَرَبِي | أَلَم يَجِدكَ يَتيمًا فَآوىٰ |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Alam ya jidka yateeman fa aawaa |
| English (Pickthall) | Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? |
| English (Qarai) | Did He not find you an orphan, and shelter you? |
| English (Hilali) | Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Verily, He found you at a time when you were a child whose father had passed away, and so He made a place of refuge for you by causing your grandfather Abdul Muttalib to become fond of you, and then your uncle Abu Talib. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | क्या ऐसा नहीं कि उसने तुम्हें अनाथ पाया तो ठिकाना दिया? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | क्या उसने तुम्हें यतीम पाकर (अबू तालिब की) पनाह न दी (ज़रूर दी) |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | उसने आपको इस अवस्था में पाया कि आप छोटे थे एवं आपके पिता की मृत्यु हो चुकी थी, तो उसने आपके लिए एक आश्रय स्थल बना दिया, जहाँ आपके दादा अब्दुल मुत्तलिब, फिर आपके चाचा अबू तालिब ने आपके साथ सहानुभूति व्यक्त की। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૬. શું તેણે તમને અનાથ જોઇ શરણ ન આપ્યું? |

| عَرَبِي | وَوَجَدَكَ ضالًّا فَهَدىٰ |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa wa jadaka daal lan fahada |
| English (Pickthall) | Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And He found you lost and guided [you], |
| English (Qarai) | Did He not find you astray, and guide you? |
| English (Hilali) | And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He found you in a state where you did not know what revelation or faith was, and so He taught you about that which you did not know. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और तुम्हें मार्ग से अपरिचित पाया तो मार्ग दिखाया? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और तुमको एहकाम से नावाकिफ़ देखा तो मंज़िले मक़सूद तक पहुँचा दिया |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उसने आपको इस हाल में पाया कि आप नहीं जानते कि किताब या ईमान क्या है, तो उसने आपको इसके बारे में वे बातें सिखाईं, जो आप नहीं जानते थे। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૭. અને તમને માર્ગથી અજાણ જોઇ માર્ગદર્શન ન આપ્યું. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ७) र तिमीलाई मार्गविचलित पाएर सही बाटो देखाएन ? |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | और आपको मार्ग से अनभिज्ञ पाया, तो सीधा मार्ग दिखाया। |
| Roman Urdu (Maududi) | Aur tumhey nawaqif-e-raah paya aur phir hidayat bakshi |

| عَرَبِي | وَوَجَدَكَ عائِلًا فَأَغنىٰ |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa wa jadaka 'aa-ilan fa aghnaa |
| English (Pickthall) | Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. |
| English (Qarai) | Did He not find you needy, and enrich you? |
| English (Hilali) | And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And He found you poor, so He made you self-sufficient. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और तुम्हें निर्धन पाया तो समृद्ध कर दिया? |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और तुमको तंगदस्त देखकर ग़नी कर दिया |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और उसने आपको निर्धन पाया, तो आपको धनवान् कर दिया। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૮. અને તમને નિર્ધન જોઇ ધનવાન ન બનાવી દીધા? |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ८) र तिमीलाई कमजोर पाएर बलियो बनाएन ? |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | और उसने आपको निर्धन पाया, तो संपन्न कर दिया। |
| Roman Urdu (Maududi) | Aur tumhein nadaar(in want) paya aur phir maldar kar diya |

| عَرَبِي | فَأَمَّا اليَتيمَ فَلا تَقهَر |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Faamma alyateema fala taqhar |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa am mal yateema fala taqhar |
| English (Pickthall) | Therefor the orphan oppress not, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. |
| English (Qarai) | So, as for the orphan, do not oppress him; |
| English (Hilali) | Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Therefore, do not treat badly the one who has lost his father in childhood, nor look down upon him. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | अतः जो अनाथ हो उसे मत दबाना, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो तुम भी यतीम पर सितम न करना |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | अतः आप किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति के साथ दुर्व्यवहार और उसका अपमान न करें जिसने बचपन में अपने पिता को खो दिया है। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૯. બસ! તમે કોઈ અનાથ પર કઠોર વ્યવહાર ન કરશો. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ९) तसर्थ तिमीले पनि अनाथमाथि अत्याचार नगर्नु । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | अतः आप अनाथ पर कठोरता न दिखाएँ। |

| عَرَبِي | وَأَمَّا السّائِلَ فَلا تَنهَر |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waamma alssaila fala tanhar |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa am mas saa-ila fala tanhar |
| English (Pickthall) | Therefor the beggar drive not away, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. |
| English (Qarai) | and as for the beggar, do not chide him; |
| English (Hilali) | And repulse not the beggar; |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And do not rebuke the needy beggar. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जो माँगता हो उसे न झिझकना, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | माँगने वाले को झिड़की न देना |

| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૧૦. અને ન તો કોઈ માંગવાવાળા ને ધુત્કારશો. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | १०) र माँग्नेवालालाई हप्काउने नगर्नु । |

| عَرَبِي | وَأَمّا بِنِعمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّث |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Waamma biniAAmati rabbika fahaddith |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa amma bi ni'mati rabbika fahad dith |
| English (Pickthall) | Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. |
| English (Qarai) | and as for your Lord’s blessing, proclaim it! |
| English (Hilali) | And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And be grateful for the favours of Allah upon you, and talk about them. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और जो तुम्हें रब की अनुकम्पा है, उसे बयान करते रहो |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और अपने परवरदिगार की नेअमतों का ज़िक्र करते रहना |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तथा आप अपने ऊपर अल्लाह की नेमतों का शुक्रिया अदा करें और उन्हें बयान करते रहें। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૧૧. અને પોતાના પાલનહારની કૃપાનું વર્ણન કરતા રહો. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ११) र आफ्नो पालनकर्ताको अनुकम्पालाई वर्णन गर्दैगर्नु । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | और अपने रब के उपकार का वर्णन करते रहें। |
