| عَرَبِي | كَلّا إِنَّ الإِنسانَ لَيَطغىٰ |

| English (Saheeh Int’l) | No! [But] indeed, man transgresses |

| English (Hilali) | Nay! Verily, man does transgress all bounds (in disbelief and evil deed, etc.). |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Truly, indeed, the transgressing human i.e. Abu Jahl, has crossed the limit in overstepping the limits of Allah. |

| English (Abridged Expl.) | Just because he has seen him showing no need of the prestige and wealth he possesses. |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | इसलिए कि वह खुद को देखता है कि वह अपने पास मौजूद प्रतिष्ठा और धन के कारण बेनियाज़ हो गया है। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૭. એટલા માટે કે તે પોતાને બેદરકાર (ખુશહાલ) સમજે છે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ७) यसकारण कि उसले आफूलाई आत्मनिर्भर देख्दछ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | इसलिए कि वह स्वयं को बेनियाज़ (धनवान्) देखता है। |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | निश्चय (ऐ इनसान) क़ियामत के दिन तेरे रब ही की ओर वापस लौटना है। फिर वह हर एक को वह बदला देगा, जिसका वह हक़दार है। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૮. ખરેખર (તમારે) પોતાના પાલનહાર તરફ પાછા ફરવાનું છે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ८) यसमा कुनै सन्देह छैन कि तिम्रो पालनकर्तातिर नै फर्किजानु पर्नेछ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | निःसंदेह, तेरे पालनहार ही की ओर वापस लौटना है। |

| عَرَبِي | أَرَأَيتَ إِن كانَ عَلَى الهُدىٰ |

| English (Pickthall) | Hast thou seen if he relieth on the guidance (of Allah) |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Seest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance?- |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Have you seen if he is upon guidance |
| English (Qarai) | tell me, should he be on [true] guidance, |
| English (Hilali) | Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | What do you think will happen, if this person who has been prevented, is following guidance and foresight from his Lord? |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तुम्हारा क्या विचार है? यदि वह सीधे मार्ग पर हो, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | भला देखो तो कि अगर ये राहे रास्त पर हो या परहेज़गारी का हुक्म करे |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | क्या आपने देखा कि यदि यह व्यक्ति जिसे रोका जा रहा है, अपने पालनहार की ओर से मार्गदर्शन और अंतर्दृष्टि पर है?! |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૧૧. થોડુંક વિચારો! જો તે બંદો હિદાયત પર હોય, |

| عَرَبِي | أَو أَمَرَ بِالتَّقوىٰ |

| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | या वह लोगों को अल्लाह के आदेशों का पालन करके और उसकी मना की हुई चीज़ों से बचकर उससे डरने का आदेश देता हो, क्या इस तरह के व्यक्ति को रोका जाना चाहिए?! |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૧૨. અથવા તો તક્વાનો આદેશ આપતો હોય. (તો શું તેને રોકવું ગુમરાહી નથી)? |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | १२) वा संयमित रहनुको आदेश दिन्छ भने । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | या अल्लाह से डरने का आदेश देता हो? |

| عَرَبِي | أَرَأَيتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلّىٰ |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Ara-aita in kaz zaba wa ta walla |
| English (Pickthall) | Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance) and is froward? |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Have you seen if he denies and turns away - |
| English (Qarai) | tell me, should he call him a liar and turn away |
| English (Hilali) | Tell me if he (the disbeliever, Abu Jahl) denies (the truth, i.e. this Quran), and turns away? |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | What do you think will happen if this preventer rejected whatever the Messenger brought and turned away from it? Does he not fear Allah? |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | तुम्हारा क्या विचार है? यदि उस (रोकनेवाले) ने झुठलाया और मुँह मोड़ा (तो उसके बुरा होने में क्या संदेह है) - |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | भला देखो तो कि अगर उसने (सच्चे को) झुठला दिया और (उसने) मुँह फेरा |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | भला बतलाओ तो सही कि यदि इस रोकने वाले न रसूल के लाए हुए संदेश को झुठलाया और उससे मुँह फेर लिया, तो क्या वह अल्लाह से डरता नहीं है?! |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૧૩. અને થોડો વિચાર કરો (તે રોકનાર) જો તે સત્ય વાત જુઠલાવતો હોય અને મોઢું ફેરવતો હોય, |
