| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | १) तिमीले त्यसलाई देख्यौ, जसले प्रतिफल (को दिनलाई) झुट्ठा ठहराउँदछ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | (ऐ नबी!) क्या आपने उसे देखा, जो बदले के दिन को झुठलाता है? |
| Roman Urdu (Maududi) | Tum ne dekha us shaks ko jo aakhirat ki jaza va saza ko jhutlata hai |
| Roman Urdu (Junagarhi) | Kiya tu nay(ussay bhi)dekha jo (roz) jaza ko jhutlata hai |

| عَرَبِي | فَذٰلِكَ الَّذي يَدُعُّ اليَتيمَ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Fathalika allathee yaduAAAAu alyateema |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa zaalikal lazi yadu'ul-yateem |
| English (Pickthall) | That is he who repelleth the orphan, |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | For that is the one who drives away the orphan |
| English (Qarai) | That is the one, who drives away the orphan, |
| English (Hilali) | That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | It is the one who harshly turns away the orphan when in need. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | ये तो वही (कम्बख्त) है जो यतीम को धक्के देता है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | यही वह व्यक्ति है, जो अनाथ को उसकी जरूरतों से वंचित कर उसे सख़्ती के साथ भगा देता है। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૨. તે તો છે, જે અનાથને ધક્કા મારે છે, |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | २) उही त हो जसले अनाथहरूलाई धक्का दिन्छ । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | तो यही है, जो अनाथ (यतीम) को धक्के देता है। |

| عَرَبِي | وَلا يَحُضُّ عَلىٰ طَعامِ المِسكينِ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Wala yahuddu AAala taAAami almiskeeni |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa la ya huddu 'alaa ta'amil miskeen |
| English (Pickthall) | And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. |
| English (Qarai) | and does not urge the feeding of the needy. |
| English (Hilali) | And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | He does not encourage himself nor others in feeding the poor. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और मुहताज के खिलाने पर नहीं उकसाता |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और मोहताजों को खिलाने के लिए (लोगों को) आमादा नहीं करता |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | वह ग़रीबों को खाना खिलाने के लिए न खुद से आग्रह करता है और न ही दूसरों से आग्रह करता है। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૩. અને ગરીબને ખવડાવવા માટે પ્રોત્સાહન પણ નથી આપતો. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ३) र निमुखाहरूलाई खुवाउने कुरामा प्रोत्साहित गर्दैन । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | तथा ग़रीब को खाना खिलाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित नहीं करता है। |
| Roman Urdu (Maududi) | Aur miskeen ka khana dene par nahin uksata |
| Roman Urdu (Junagarhi) | Aur miskeen ko khilaney ki targeeb nahi deta |

| عَرَبِي | فَوَيلٌ لِلمُصَلّينَ |

| Transliteration (Unicode) | Fa wai lul-lil mu salleen |
| English (Pickthall) | Ah, woe unto worshippers |

| English (Saheeh Int’l) | So woe to those who pray |
| English (Qarai) | Woe to those who pray |
| English (Hilali) | So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | So destruction and punishment be upon those who perform prayer. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | तो उन नमाज़ियों की तबाही है |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो उन नमाज़ियों के लिए विनाश और यातना है, जो अपनी नमाज़ से लापरवाह हैं, वे उसकी परवाह नहीं करते हैं यहाँ तक कि उसका समय समाप्त हो जाता है। |

| عَرَبِي | الَّذينَ هُم عَن صَلاتِهِم ساهونَ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allatheena hum AAan salatihim sahoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Al lazeena hum 'an salaatihim sahoon |
| English (Pickthall) | Who are heedless of their prayer; |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Who are neglectful of their prayers, |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | [But] who are heedless of their prayer - |
| English (Qarai) | but are heedless of their prayers |
| English (Hilali) | Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who are heedless of their prayer; they do not care about it such that its time expires. |

| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जो अपनी नमाज़ से ग़ाफिल रहते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | तो उन नमाज़ियों के लिए विनाश और यातना है, जो अपनी नमाज़ से लापरवाह हैं, वे उसकी परवाह नहीं करते हैं यहाँ तक कि उसका समय समाप्त हो जाता है। |

| عَرَبِي | الَّذينَ هُم يُراءونَ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | Allatheena hum yuraoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Al lazeena hum yuraa-oon |
| English (Pickthall) | Who would be seen (at worship) |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | Those who make show [of their deeds] |
| English (Qarai) | —who show off |
| English (Hilali) | Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | Those who show off by their prayer and good deeds, not being sincere in doing deeds for Allah. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | जो दिखावे के लिए कार्य करते हैं, |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | जो दिखाने के वास्ते करते हैं |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | जो लोग दिखावे के लिए नमाज़ पढ़ते और कार्य करते हैं। वे विशुद्ध रूप से अल्लाह के लिए कार्य नहीं करते हैं। |

| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ६) जसले आडम्बरका काम गर्दछन् । |

| Roman Urdu (Maududi) | Jo riya-kaari(dikhawa) karte hai |
| Roman Urdu (Junagarhi) | Jo riya kari kerty hein |

| عَرَبِي | وَيَمنَعونَ الماعونَ |

| Transliteration (Tanzil) | WayamnaAAoona almaAAoona |
| Transliteration (Unicode) | Wa yamna'oonal ma'oon |
| English (Pickthall) | Yet refuse small kindnesses! |
| English (Yusuf Ali) | But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. |
| English (Saheeh Int’l) | And withhold [simple] assistance. |
| English (Qarai) | but deny aid. |
| English (Hilali) | And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). |
| English (Abridged Expl.) | And they refrain from helping others with things in which there is no difficulty helping in. |
| हिन्दी (Farooq) | और साधारण बरतने की चीज़ भी किसी को नहीं देते |
| हिन्दी (Suhail) | और रोज़मर्रा की मालूली चीज़ें भी आरियत नहीं देते |
| हिन्दी तफ्सीर (Mokhtasar) | और वे ऐसी चीज़ के द्वारा भी दूसरों की मदद करने से कतराते हैं, जिससे मदद करने में कोई नुक़सान नहीं है। |
| ગુજરાતી (Rabila) | ૭. અને બીજાને સામાન્ય વસ્તુઓ આપવાનો પણ ઇન્કાર કરે છે. |
| Nepali (Ahl-al-Hadith) | ७) र गर्नुपर्ने कुराहरूबाट रोक्छन् । |
| हिन्दी (Al-Omari) | तथा साधारण बरतने की चीज़ भी माँगने से नहीं देते। |
| Roman Urdu (Maududi) | Aur maamuli zarurat ki cheezen (logon ko) dene se gurez karte hai |
